"I knew!" Kiana pointed a finger at the man who turned his head to look at the source of the noise.
The man blinked and returned his attention to the meal he was preparing.

"Hey who do you think you are for ignore me ?!" The girl Kaslana jumped towards the man but was grabbed by the collar of her clothes, choking her a little.
"Grrr!" Said the girl Kaslana in surprise.
"Calm down brave young woman, why so much animosity can you tell me?" Said Himeko holding the girl by the collar of her clothes as if it were a collar.
"There's a boy at aunt Himeko's apartment, he has to leave NOW" Kiana tried to get rid of Himeko's tight grip but without success.
Himeko raised an eyebrow at the girl, "Is there any reason why you hate boys like that Kiana so much?" Himeko looked at John's back and then at Kiana trying to break free of her grip.
"They're all perverts, they like to look up waitresses' skirts, they get drunk and leave you alone waiting for him to chase helpless women. They're hideous" Kiana stopped her futile attempt to free herself and looked at Himeko with a pleading look.
"They're all perverts, get him out of here auntie" the look Kiana gave looked like a kicked cat asking for affection.
Himeko just stared at her for a few seconds…
Damn Siegfried…
Himeko sighed and threw the girl onto the chair at the dining table.
"Hey!" Kiana complained holding her backside from the impact of the hard wooden chair.
"Well we're done with the show. I'd like to introduce you girls to John, he's going staying with us for a while. Please, let's all get along, shall we?" The Valkyrie of Flames said, clapping her hands and smiling.
"Ehhhh?!" Kiana slammed the table in outrage.
Bronya blinked at the man and then looked at Himeko.
"Professor Himeko, was that the reason you went to Osaka?" The little Russian girl said blankly to the red haired woman.
Himeko smiled at Bronya.
"Okay young lady, our guest here was the reason I left. I'll take him to Tesla and Theresa in the morning and then we'll have a drink" the woman said with a smile. She seemed to be happier than usual.
Bronya blinked and then looked at the man.
"Ah, I forgot to warn him don't speak Japanese but his English is very good. If you want to communicate with him, you'll have to make a little effort. I'll warn you that I had a lot of difficulty even though my English is great" Himeko blinked when she noticed Bronya walking towards John and standing beside him as if wanting to see what he was up to.
Bronya looked at the food and then at him.
The man raised an eyebrow.
"Smells good" the Russian girl said with perfect enunciation.
The man looked at the little girl for a few seconds.
"Will you help me, little lady?" John watched the girl wink at him looking at the food and then at the man again. She nodded in agreement.
Himeko opened her mouth not knowing what to say. Bronya in a nutshell spoke better than she had in her entire life.
"What are you doing midget?! That's his plan, don't let yourself fall down midget" Kiana yelled but was ignored by the Russian girl.
"Kiana I think you're exaggerating, besides he's preparing our food. Lucky for you he doesn't understand you otherwise you'd run out of dinner" Himeko sighed at the girl.
"I don't need his food, I have my Senpai's food" the girl Kaslana crossed her arms and looked away from her with a snort.
Himeko gave a half smile and it was precious and placed the ice pack on the table and sat down.
"Are you sure? it smells good" Himeko looked at her.
Kiana sniffed the air like a cat and her stomach rumbled. Then she shook her head in denial.
"No, I don't need it. Mei Senpai will cook for me. Right senpai?" Kiana looked at Mei but she didn't answer. She was staring at the man's back with a hand on her chest tightening her clothing. It looked like she was having an internal argument.
"Mei senpai?" Kiana's voice snapped the Raiden heiress out of her trance.
Mei blinked and then looked at Kiana, "Did you… say something Kiana?"
"I'm saying we don't need a pervert under our roof" Kiana said in frustration.
Mei blinked in surprise.
"Pervert?" The heiress looked at the man's back.
"That's right, you don't want him to try to enter the bathroom while you're taking a shower, don't you worry, I'll protect you Senpai" Kiana patted her chest.
"The only person who tries to invade Mei's bath is you Kiana" Himeko said.
A chill ran through the heiress' entire body. Mei turns and gives Kiana a sharp look causing the girl to put her hand in front of her face and sway back and forth as if she wants to chase her attention away.
"Wh-Whait it's not like that I… I was checking if you were in danger… it's checking if my senpai was in danger" Kiana tried to look away.
"I don't think this will work Kiana" Hineko said looking at Mei narrowing her eyes at Kaslana.
"Kiana" said Mei.
"Yes Senpai?" Kiana smiled nervously at the Raiden heiress.
"Don't go into the bathroom while I'm in, understand?" Mei said in an authoritative voice that she always used when Kiana did something inappropriate.
"Yes, Mei senpai" the girl Kaslana rested her chin on the table.
Mei looked at the Valkyrie who was smiling at their interaction.
"Miss Himeko, if you knew Kiana did this, why didn't you stop her?" Mei asked the woman in charge of the girls.
"It's more fun this way" Himeko put the ice pack back on her cheek which made Mei curious.
"What happened ?" The heiress approached the woman.
"Oh, it was my fault, don't worry about it" Said the woman in a lazy manner.
Mei sat on the chair, "If you say so" and then looked at the man's back.
She noticed Bronya was counting some vegetables, and the man was saying something she didn't understand.
Was he speaking in English?...
She had gotten the best grades in her class, but the English taught in Nagazora was not something she would use in conversation but in writing. Basic. She has never been in a conversation in the language. But still everyone praised her on how good she was at it, after all she was the QUEEN and the QUEEN was PERFECT.
"What's the name that lady Himeko said…" Mei whispered but it seems the crimson valkyrie heard.
"John is John his name" Mei blinked and looked at Himeko smiling.
"Oh, thank you" Mei said.
"You seem a little off, you okay?" Himeko asked the heiress.
Kiana look Mei.
"Aunt Himeko is right, you've been a little off lately senpai" Kiana stood up looking at the Raiden heiress with her chin on the table.
"It's okay, it must be just hunger. We skipped lunch so I must not be thinking straight, "Mei said.
Himeko looked confused, "why did they skip lunch, I remember leaving the day free for everyone"
"Ah, Kiana dragged us because she got bored so there was no time to prepare anything" upon hearing Mei's words, Kiana sank into her chair wanting to disappear.
"Oh, so that's right. What's your defense now Kiana?" Himeko looked at the Kaslana girl out of the corner of her right eye.
"Hmmm" she just made a sound as she sank into the chair, "Sorry Mei senpai"
The heiress smiled, "It's okay Kiana-chan." Usually Mei liked to call her Chan to calm the girl down and most of the time it worked.
Kiana hearing Mei call her that way brought a crooked smile to Kaslana's face.
A strong smell of food near the table caught Heiress Mei's attention. As she turned her face, she noticed that the man and Bronya were holding trays of food. The man carried the largest amount.
The two placed the food one by one on the table. When John placed Himeko's plate the woman thanked him and Kiana made a 'grrr' sound as if she were a cat, which made the man raise his eyebrow then ignore it and put down the plate of the Heiress who blinked and managed to get a good look at the face of the man.
She blinked and blinked, he had a little sweat from the heat of the stove, sometimes it happened to her. When the man looked at her, the heiress looked away in embarrassment.
The man finally sat down in the chair and Bronya did the same.
"Smells good" said the Russian girl again.
It wasn't a standard Japanese dinner, Mei had seen something similar in cookbooks she read when she was learning to cook.
Benedicts eggs, grilled chicken seasoned and stuffed with cheese and vegetables. There was Teriyaki rice to go along with Veggie Curry and Sole Meuniere.
Himeko blinked at the amount of food. The woman cleared her throat and prepared to speak the foreign language again.
"Oh my sweetie, you were inspired to make so much food and the smell is wonderful" she spoke slowly so that what happened last time wouldn't happen.
John smiled at the Valkyrie, "You asked me to make extra servings and that's what I did, plus I'm more of a glutton than anything. Don't worry it's not like I'm going to stay long, so your wallet won't. will cry with the purchase of food"
The valkyrie blinked, "Little Kiana here is a glutton too, maybe you guys can be friends" Himeko said with a thick accent.
John looked at Kiana who was drooling looking at the variety and quantity of food on the table, the girl Kaslana noticed the man looking at her and made a 'grr' as if it were a cat.
"I have my doubts, I don't think she likes me very much" said John.
Himeko gave Kiana a sharp look who looked away and made an 'hm'. Himeko feels someone looking at her, the valkyrie turns her head and notices that Bronya is staring at her.
"What's wrong Bronya?" Asked Himeko moving her head to the side.
"Professor Himeko's English is horrible" Bronya said again with perfect pronunciation.
"Brat" Himeko muttered in Japanese.
"She's not that bad miss…" John didn't know the name of the girl who helped him cook.
"Bronya, and yes it is bad" Bronya said while taking some Veggie Curry.
"Cruel" the man got some teriyaki chicken and rice.
Mei watched the man and then looked at the food not knowing what to try first, normally she was the one cooking so she was in a situation she wasn't used to. Maybe at the time she didn't know how to cook and the maids did everything for her, but it's been a while.
"Take the rice Mei or the fish. It's great" The heiress looked over and saw Himeko with a portion of rice and fish, she seemed to be enjoying it very much.
Mei took a container and placed the rice, then broke a portion of the Sole and took the chopsticks. She looked to the side and noticed John eating with silverware and Bronya doing the same. The girl usually ate with chopsticks, but that was when Mei made traditional Japanese foods.
"No Mei Senpai don't let yourself be deceived" Kiana said quite loudly but Mei ignored it and Bronya gave the girl Kaslana a sharp look.
"Noisy" the Russian girl said.
"She finally pops a mouthful and…
"Good!" Mei said in surprise.
"Eh? What?" Kiana looked at Mei and then at her food, the Kaslana girl hadn't eaten anything yet.
"Why don't you try some Kiana, you might like it" Himeko says pointing chopsticks at Kaslana.
She looked at Himeko doubtfully, then looked at the group enjoying the food and her eyes landed on the man who noticed the look on him and looked back which made the girl Kaslana look back at her food.
"Okay, but if I don't like it I want Mei's food" Kiana took a portion of chicken with a fork and put it in her mouth and her eyes widened, the vegetables with the melted cheese and the season chicken meat.
"Kiana?" Mei asked looking at Kaslana worriedly.
Kiana started taking portions of food and putting it in her mouth until she started to choke.
"Easy there hungry, the food won't run away from you" Himeko patted the girl on the back.
Coff Coff
"It doesn't change anything you hear me, it doesn't change anything you pervert" Kiana pointed her fork at the man while munching on the chicken.
He just raised an eyebrow at her and went back to eating.
"I told you he doesn't understand Japanese Kiana" Himeko told the girl.
"I don't care, he understood even if he didn't" she went back to eating.
…
It didn't make sense what Kaslana said so Himeko just ignored the comment.
Himeko looked like she remembered something and got up from the table towards the fridge.
"Something wrong, Himeko?" Said the man following the Valkyrie with his eyes.
"I just forgot something, Sweetie" said Valkyrie with her head in the fridge.
She walks away from the refrigerator and closes the door with her feet. The woman was holding a can of beer. She opened it and took a sip as she sat back in the chair.
"~ Ahhhh that's what was missing, how good it is to eat good food with a good drink" she put the beer on the table.
"Ah, that's a little Sweetie, I'll let you drink from the same beer if you want" Himeko tells the man smiling.
"I'll pass, I told you I don't drink alcohol, Himeko" the man's comment made Himeko pout.
Kiana stopped eating and raised an eyebrow at Himeko, even though she didn't understand what the woman said but it looked like she was giving her familiar flirtations.
Himeko noticed Mei looking at her and the heiress went back to eating.
"What time are we going to see this Tesla, Himeko?" John spoke, looking at the woman blinking. He ate a large amount of food in a short time even more than Kianna who already looked full but was still eating. Bronya ate slowly, taking a bite of each portion of the assorted foods.
"In the morning. Theresa can wake up early but the problem is Tesla. It seems that not even an earthquake can wake her up" Himeko said, taking a piece of chicken and putting it in her mouth.
Mei blinked at their interaction, understanding little of what they said.
"Tesla is a girl… wait, is everyone here female?" John asked.
Himeko had a can of beer in her mouth, "Well it's an all-female school, most of the men decided to stay in regions away from honkai sightings, some decided to try their luck like in Osaka. But it's not recommended."
"What do these Honkais have against the male gender?" whispered the man but Bronya seems to have heard and looked at him blankly.
"Even so, it's not appropriate to have male staff here, since it's a school for girls who are reaching adulthood so unpleasant situations could happen. ~Ahhh" said the Valkyrie holding her beer.
"Ah, so they don't want to take advantage of the girls, I understand the decision" said John looking up thinking.
Himeko blinked, "Actually it's the opposite. With valkyrie training stress turns out to be very common and without an interaction with the opposite sex for a long period of time and the maturity of girls we think it's better not to have functional men so as not to happen to one of the girls trying something. Men can't resist a cute little face and puppy eyes" said Himeko, remembering Theresa's explanation.
A chill ran down the man's spine.
"Calm down sweetie, I'm exaggerating. It's not like they're mindless beings, just hormonal teenagers, don't worry" she laughed awkwardly, she really had to choose her words better.
"Now that you've explained it better, I feel better," said John.
"Well, I must admit you have a pretty face even with that scar on your lips. By the way, what caused it?" Himeko asked curiously.
The man looked at her empty plate.
"Well, let's just say that no matter how much I try to live a peaceful life, it seems that conflict always follows me" the man said, touching the scar that was located a little to the right of his inner lips.
Bronya just stared at him blankly, it looked like the Russian girl wanted to say something but she was silent.
Mei could only understand a few words and it looked like she was trying to ignore something, as if she heard a voice in her head.
Kiana just sat slumped in her chair, her stomach full and round.
"So good but so full" the girl said with her stomach in a ball shape.
Mei blinked as she looked at Kiana, not even when she cooks Kiana ate so much, at least not to the point where she was now.
"Maybe if you controlled the amount of food you wouldn't be in this situation" Himeko says, taking the last drink of beer and crushing.
"You control how much you drink, aunt Himeko" Kiana said, slumped in her chair.
"You brat!" Himeko squeezed the can even more, making Kiana startle.
"Ahhh please don't kill me auntie" Kiana fell off her chair.
"Well I guess I'll get ready, I see tomorrow is going to be a long day" said the man collecting the empty plates and taking them to the kitchen sink.
Mei noticed what the man was doing and stood up and said.
"Ah… Mister John let me do that, after all you're already cooked for us" the Raiden heiress said in Japanese forgetting that the man didn't understand what she was talking about.
She just blinked and looked at Himeko.
The woman said something that Mei didn't understand and the man answered Himeko and started to wash the dishes.
"He said he doesn't mind washing, Mei" the heiress' mouth dropped open, then she shook her head.
"Miss Himeko, tell him that at least I will help" Mei walked beside the man and got a cloth to dry the dishes.
He looked at her for a second until he heard Himeko say something which made him look at the valkyrie and then at Mei. The man went back to washing the dishes.
"Mei senpai get away from him… so full" Kiana said with a churning stomach.
"The big sister likes to help, unlike Kiana idiotyska who is useless" Bronya said, getting up to count on the couch with her video game.
"I don't have the strength to fight you right now dwarf… so you won this one" Kiana said looking at the ceiling.
Mei took the opportunity to get a better look at him.
She was a few centimeter taller than him which made her feel awkward. She was tall for a Japanese girl who normally had a shorter stature than men, for some reason this height difference made her feel less feminine, she was even taller than Himeko, which was a bit odd since she was the student. What's worse is that her check-up doctors told her that she still had the tendency to grow a little more.
Mei noticed that the man had a lean muscled frame, even if all she could throw was his arms as he rolled up his shirt sleeves. His hair was a black and it looked messy style as if his hairstyle was done with just a hand pulling his hair back and carelessly giving a rugged look to the man.
Mei blinked when she noticed that the man was looking at her, which made her cheeks turn red.
The Raiden heiress didn't have much experience with boys, as most of the male staff didn't interact with her much, with the exception of her driver, but he was an elderly man and was very friendly with her father and treated her like a second daughter.
It also didn't help that she went to an all-girls school her entire life, which made her interaction with the opposite gender a little awkward. She didn't know what to do and the man was clearly older than her.
The heiress was snapped out of her thoughts when she noticed the man pointing in one direction, which made the girl blink and look at what he was pointing at.
Detergent?
She took it and handed it to the man, but his little finger touched hers and…
"~Oh what a nice feeling" the Herrscher of Thunder said in Mei Raiden's head.
John just took the detergent and started using it to clean the dishes.
The herrscher had left her alone until now, but the herrscher decided to communicate with the body's owner.
"Touch him again I want to feel it again" said the queen of thunder.
"What? No, be quiet where you were. Everything is going well so just leave" Mei said in her head to the herrscher.
"Keep scrubbing," said the herrscher.
Mei blinked at the answer and went back to drying the dishes.
Mei remembers something Himeko said about cutting and looks back at him and notices a cut on her lips. It didn't look like an accident but something caused by something or someone...
"For a human insect, I kind of like it, do you think he has more of those on your body?" I ask the Herrscher to make the heiress' cheeks heat up.
"Silence!" The Raiden heiress heard the herrscher chuckle.
"You're too easy, you're even a pathetic girl…" said the herrscher, pausing in what he was going to say.
"..."
"Let's make a deal, shall we?" Said the herrscher.
"Deal? Why would I make a deal with you" said Mei, scrubbing the dishes and putting them away.
"So I'll leave you alone until dawn, even in your dreams, how about that?" The Herrscher of Thunder said.
The heiress stopped scrubbing and considered…
"What do you want ?" She could feel Herrscher smiling even if he couldn't see her.
"Touch him" said the herrscher.
"What no! He's going to think I'm a weirdo" Mei said, looking at John out of the corner of her right eye.
"We made a deal, just do it or you have no human word?" What the herrscher said made the heiress stop drying the dishes again and then looking at the man and noticing that he was about to wash the last dirty dish.
Then the heiress took a deep breath and tried to reach the plate he was holding with her right arm making his hand stay on top of his as she held the plate.
"It really is familiar…"
The man looked surprised and raised an eyebrow at the heiress' action.
"A-Ah… Mister John let me clean that last one ok?" Mei was embarrassed, why did she agree to do this. He seemed to think she was a strange girl.
He blinked at what the heiress said and looked at Himeko but it was Bronya who answered.
"The older sister said that she would take care of the last dish" again the Russian girl said with perfect pronunciation.
John just looked at Mei, "Well, if that's what you want, miss" he withdrew his hand from under Mei's hand and let the girl hold the plate.
He took a cloth and dried his wet hand.
"Himeko, where is my room?" John asked.
"Oh, you're going to bed so early sweetie. Are you sure you don't want to sleep in my room?" Said Himeko without any shame.
Bronya looked at her teacher, "Perverted Himeko".
Bronya's comment caused Kiana to wake up from her nap and look at Himeko.
"Who pervert?... hey! Get away from my senpai", Kiana's belly was already normal. The girl had a fast metabolism.
The Kaslana girl ran and hugged Mei pulling her away from John.
"Kiana… you can put me down" Mei said without being able to breathe.
"Not until the pervert gets away from you senpai" Kiana said loudly.
John just ignored the Kaslana girl's action.
"I'll have to decline, could you show me to my room, like I said it's going to be a long day" John told Himeko who pouted.
"Sure sweetie, come with me" Himeko gestured to the man follow. And that's what the man did.
"Kiana… you can let me go… now… without… being able to… breathe" Mei said starting to turn purple and out of breath.
"But hugging Mei feels so good" said the girl, squeezing even tighter.
Bronya noticed this and calmly walked over to Kiana and Mei. She reached out and pinched Kiana in the stomach making the girl let go of Mei.
"Ahh what was that, dwarf?" Kiana said rubbing her stomach.
"Subject Kiana was harassing the big sister" said Bronya glaring at Kiana.
"You're delusional Brat, Mei senpai adores me" Kiana shot back.
Mei was finally able to breathe again, recovering her normal color.
Mei's eyes watched the man's back as he and Himeko disappeared into the corridors opposite where her room and the girls' room were.
"Hm, at least he'll stay away, imagine him trying to get into our rooms while we sleep" Kiana said crossing her arms.
"The only person who tries to break into anyone's room is the individual Kiana trying to break into big sister's room," Bronya said, staring at Kiana blankly.
Hearing that, Mei turned to Kiana.
"Eh… see… I have no excuses for that…" said Kiana with her head down trying to escape Mei's gaze.
"Kiana, don't enter my room without precision, understood?" Mei said.
"Yes, Mei senpai" Kiana just nodded.
Sometimes Mei wondered how sixteen-year-old Kiana was so hormonal.
"Why is this feeling so familiar" The Herrscher said but it sounded like she was talking to herself rather than the heiress.
Mei just stood there waiting for the herrscher to continue but she didn't continue to speak...
Looking at the clock, the heiress noticed that it was already getting late.
"Well, I'm going to sleep. You two won't sleep too late, okay?" Mei said in a motherly way.
"What do you think I am Mei, a baby?" Kiana said, crossing her arms.
Bronya just nodded in confirmation, "Goodnight Big Sister"
"Good night, Bronya-chan and Kiana-chan" and so the Raiden heiress left for her room.

Kiana waited for Mei to disappear down the hall and looked at Bronya who looked back at the girl Kaslana. Sparks of competition collided between Bronya and Kiana as they stared each other down.
"I want my rematch dwarf" Kiana took the handheld console out of her pocket.
"Bronya will demonstrate. Bronya's will show gaming supremacy and show how the subject Kiana is Bronya's inferior" she glared at Kiana.
"So, come on midget!" and so the two sat on the couch and started playing. And it looked like the two were going to be there for a long time.

Mei woke up in the middle of the night and found the ceiling in her room. The herrscher had honored the arrangement with the heiress. But the reason the girl woke up was not the herrscher.
John… didn't he have a last name? Now that the heiress thought about it, she and the other girls hadn't submitted their names to the man.
She felt awkward around the man, especially the herrscher. The Herrscher of Thunder was acting more strangely than her.
Mei also noticed that the man's eyes were far away as if he was thinking about something that was unrelated to what he was doing.
The heiress decided to get up and drink some water. She yawned and walked down the hall, Mei blinked when she saw a silhouette coming out of the door and leaving her behind.
Mei glanced at the couch and noticed Kiana and Bronya sleeping on the couch holding portable consoles. Bronya had one foot on Kiana's face who was making a strange expression. The Russian girl pushed and shoved the Kaslana girl as if she wanted her to get off the couch.
If the two are here sleeping then who left? Mei was thoughtful.
Mei silently leaves the apartment and can see the silhouette going up the stairs, she follows whoever it was.
She realizes she's going to the top of the building and throws open the door. Silently the heiress pokes her head out the door and tries to see who was at the top of the building.
The heiress noticed that the person was on the edge of the building. Mei blinked and ran…

But the man just sat on the edge and heard the noises of the Heiress running that made him turn his head to look at the reason for the noise.
The two stared at each other for a few seconds.
"Can I help you with anything, Miss?" Said in English. And then looking at the moon that was gigantic in the sky.
Now she was in trouble. The knowledge of the heiress in the English language was not enough to have a conversation.
"Is he asking why you are here?" The Herrscher told the Raiden heiress.
"Wait, can you understand him?" Said the heiress to voice the herrscher.
"Don't you? Hehe good luck with your fantastic language skills" said the herrscher in a cynical voice.
"Wait?! Please help me" Mei couldn't believe she was making another deal with Herrscher.
"Of course on one condition…" the heiress didn't like the tone of her voice
"..."
"Okay… what do you want?" Mei was already regretting it.
"Let me take control of your body and I'll speak and translate whatever you want" the Herrscher said confidently.
"No! That's out of the question" Mei said indignantly with the herrscher's proposal, after everything she'd done.
"Like I said, good luck" she said without caring.
"..." the heiress was in doubt.
"There's still the bomb, it's going to kill us both" Mei said, hearing the Herrscher of Thunder laugh.
"I'll only control one part, it won't be enough to activate. Do you accept it or not?" The Herrscher said.

"Alright…" Mei said reluctantly.
"The deal is done," said the herrscher.
Soo the right eye became the herrscher's and her right hand nails became sharp.
When Mei noticed it, it seemed that not even a second had passed.

"Mei… my name is Mei Raiden" said Mei with perfect pronunciation.
For the heiress it was as if she controlled part of her body, but she couldn't speak.
Mei felt the Herrscher sit next to John.
The man blinked and looked at the heiress. Her eyes looked different… at least one did.
"You speak the language well, Mei Raiden" he smiled at the girl.
"You embarrass me, it's not that good" Mei said with a laugh.
'Hey, that's not what we agreed!' Mei yelled in her head at the herrscher.

And so the heiress asked the questions and the herrscher listened. After all, a deal is a deal.
"What are you doing here so late at night Mister John?" The Herrscher tried to imitate the way Mei spoke.
"Just thinking… " he said, looking at the moon like it was the most fascinating thing.
Mei looked at the moon and didn't understand the fascination the man felt for something so banal.
"And what would it be, could you tell me? If it's not a nuisance of course" Mei said to John.
"Home, Mei Raiden. I wonder if I'm remembering or just forgotten… or even if I can go back … will it be… will they be waiting for me?" Said John, not looking away from the moon.

Home… that's what he's thinking. So his disconnected look was it. Mei thought, thanks to Herrscher, she was understanding the man.

"I don't want your company" said the blue oni.
"And where are you going, my friend," said the red oni.
"..."
The blue oni stopped walking and was quiet for a few seconds.
"I… I want to see my family, they are waiting for me, I know they are. So I can't waste time with you" said the blue oni and started to walk but felt a hand grab his wrist and pull him making him lose balance and fall. The two oni rolled and rolled after falling.
The blue oni took control of the situation foreseeing the red oni's pulses on the ground.
"What are you doing ?!" Said the blue oni showing the fangs to the red oni.
The red demon's breastplate rose and fell as he looked at the blue demon. The red oni couldn't resist, he wrapped his legs around the blue demon's waist preventing him from escaping.
"What are you doing, let me go, NOW!" Said the blue oni in an aggressive manner.
"I will become your family" said the red oni causing the blue oni to blink in confusion.
"Wha…" said the confused blue oni.
"I'll be your family if that's what you're looking for so you won't be alone. I'll be your friend and family. So you don't have to look around forever" said the red oni.
The blue oni let go of the red oni's wrists as tears fell from its eyes tickling the red oni's cheek.
The red oni hugged the blue oni and comforted him.
"You won't be alone anymore my friend" said the red oni as tears fell from the blue oni's eyes.
You will not be alone...

"I wonder if they're waiting for me," said John.

"I wonder if they care about me as much as I care about them..." said John

"I… I just don't want to stay anymore…" John is interrupted when he feels Mei hugging him. The man blinked in confusion at the girl's sudden hug.
"No, don't worry, I'm here… My friend" said the red oni.

The chapter was finally ready, it took a while to see how the interactions with the heroines with the character would be. I don't know if heroines is going to be the correct term as I intend the protagonist to be Mei but I intend to give the others plenty of screen time, maybe even as much as Mei. But the protagonist is Mei Raiden and Mei Raiden.
Speaking of Mei, I finally felt ashamed and updated the cover art since the previous art was just a sketch that I put so it wouldn't be empty. I think it was one of the best drawings and paintings I've done so far.
I'm thinking not just focusing on the girls, but the Herrscher counterpart will be a big factor in the whole story. I actually created this story because I think the original story didn't use the Herrscher in the original story well. They are just creatures that destroy everything, only the final chapters start to explore that which didn't make me happy because it took so long.
So I guess the real heroines aren't just the girls, but the herrschers too...
I'll think about it.
