A/N: Well, I am glad I already gave you that last chapter when I did because HOW was that a month ago?! Anyway the good news is that the chapter after this one is also ready to go whenever.

I was listening to Summer Baby by the Jonas Brothers and I was just so amused by how well the start of those lyrics fit in with this AU's Hinny... Mainly because the two first lines are: 'You're a full-blown problem. Lucky I'm your baby's father'... and then it follows with 'Still catching feelings for you'... yeah sounds familiar doesn't it?

Ginny turned around to the desk chair and looked at Harry. "Babe?"

"Yes, my love?" He looked up from the bed and smiled.

"Are my cheeks that noticeable?" she asked softly.

Harry's lips pursed, his eyes dancing over her face. "Yes."

She nodded, disappointed.

"You look lovely," he said, supporting his chin with his fist.

She groaned and faced her desk again. "You're too biased. Can the boyfriend go offline, I need to talk to my best friend only."

"Alright," Harry agreed.

She turned back around and pushed her chair closer to him. "So, Harry, my best friend. What's the verdict?"

Harry looked at her face again. He nodded to himself. "It's cute. You have cute round cheeks."

She groaned. "That's not helpful."

He sat up and patted the spot beside him. She got out of the chair and sat down beside him.

"Best friend, not blind. They're round and soft and it makes me want to squish them — platonically," he added.

She folded her arms.

"Besides, 'best friend' doesn't mean I didn't have feelings for you, you know?" he said. He reached out and this time she didn't move. His thumb rubbed her cheek. "You're practically glowing."

She snorted at his last comment. "Are you going to admit you had feelings for me before all this?"

He looked at her. "Are you?"

"I don't know." She shook her head. "I still haven't figured out when it happened. I just was suddenly sure I was in love with you."

He gasped, clutching his heart. "That's not what best friends say!"

"Alright, boyfriend, you can come back," she told him.

She smiled as his arms wrapped around her and kissed her round cheek. "So pretty. Want to kiss you all day."

"Yes, you've made your point, thank you."

Harry squeezed her knee. "The compliments are difficult for you, aren't they?"

She looked at him without replying.

"You're just getting a little rounder everywhere, that's not a bad thing. It's just different," he told her. "Most obviously is the bump coming in of course and there's the cheeks and—"

"The boobs," she completed. She looked down her own shirt. "Ah, that reminds me. The package that came today... those are pregnancy bras." She pushed off the bed. "I think I left the box on the table. Let me go get it."

She walked out of the room to find Felicia cooking for herself. She nodded at her in greeting and grabbed the box.

"Hey, Ginny."

She paused and looked at Felicia. "Yeah?"

"Did you know there are rumours going around that you are pregnant?" she said as if she could mock Ginny with it.

Ginny considered not telling Felicia but there was only a week or so left before they'd go home so she stopped caring what Felicia thought. "Yeah, because they are true."

"That sucks, how far along are you?" Felicia asked with a glance at her stomach.

"Three months," Ginny said, already turning around.

"That's unfortunate," Felicia said. "Then you're too late to, you know, nip it in the bud."

Ginny faced Felicia again, taking a deep breath. "I found out on time; I chose not to."

"Oh." Felicia frowned. "You are not going to bring it in the dorm room with you?"

"What makes you think I would want to share a dorm again with you? Trust me, when this baby comes out, I am going to keep it far away from you," she snapped. "I put in a special request to have a dorm as far away from you as possible!" she lied and then quickly walked back into her room and closed the door.

"Felicia, she keeps surprising," Harry commented.

Ginny set the box down on her desk and opened it. "Are you going to bring it into the dorm?" She shook her head. "Like it's some flea-infested dog!" She took out one of the bras. She quickly pulled her shirt off and switched bras.

She assessed it. "What do we think?" she asked as she turned around to Harry.

"A bra is a bra."

She remained silent, waiting for him to say more.

He stood up and walked to her. "It looks supportive. Do you feel supported? Because if you feel supported, that is the most important thing."

Her face broke out in a smile. She adjusted the straps until it seemed to fit well. "You're being very helpful."

He put his hands on her shoulders and turned her around. He pulled on the band, adjusting it and making sure the label wasn't folded. He took her hips and twisted her around again. "Better?"

"Yes, actually. Thanks." She looked in the box for the other bra. She pulled off that one and shoved it into Harry's hands while she pulled the other one. She waited for Harry to comment.

"This one really says 'hello'," he told her with a smile.

She nodded. "It can be used as a nursing bra too," she said, unclipping the top part.

"Definitely says 'hello'," he added, folding his arms while he was holding the other bra. He seemed to have forgotten about it.

She reclipped it. "So, I take it you like this one better?"

"This one is very flattering," he said. "But it's whatever you feel best in."

"Oh, I am keeping both, I am in desperate need of more bras," she said. She smiled at him. "Just need to know what to wear when I want to get your attention." She took the bra out of his hand.

"I feel manipulated," he let out. He pinched the bridge of his nose dramatically. "I've been tricked."

She laughed. "Yes, how very terrible of me."

He wrapped his arms around her. "Indeed."

Ginny stopped stalling and dialled her dad. She put it on speaker and then put the phone down. It felt less daunting to talk if she didn't have the phone up to her ear. Harry sat across from her quietly.

Her dad picked up quickly. "We were starting to think you weren't going to call anymore."

"Sorry," she simply said, not bothering to come up with an excuse.

"Hi dear." That was her mum.

"Hi. I just wanted to call to tell you..." She paused, and nervously bit the side of her thumb. "Harry and I have been talking..."

"Yes?" her mum asked.

She took a deep breath, both her hands landing on her stomach. "We know we can't raise a baby in a dorm. But we are both set on finishing our studies, so we think it's better if we try to rent an apartment close to campus instead, where there is room for the baby." She paused for a moment to see if there were already comments, but it remained silent. "Which basically means I am moving out soon, in the next two to three months. I wished I could have lived home longer, I miss it, but I need to be realistic about what next year is going to look like." She looked at her phone anxiously.

Her dad spoke first. "That makes sense, that baby needs a place to call home."

"I'm just sad you'll be moving out so soon. I know it's what's best but I just wanted you here a little longer." Her mother sounded a little teary.

She looked over at Harry and then back at her phone. "I know. When we graduate, realistically, it's not like I'll move back then."

"Your mum knows that too," her dad said. "Your mum and I moved in quickly too."

"Yeah, because of Bill," Ginny said with a shake of her head.

"I understand," her mum said. "And I am glad you're being responsible about this baby, thinking ahead. I just wasn't prepared for my youngest to fly the nest so soon."

Ginny sniffed. "I know."

"It will be nice to have a place of your own too, and I am sure you'll be happy to move in with Harry," Arthur said. "Keep us updated. If you need help moving in, getting food ready, anything... ask us, okay?"

"Thank you. I will. I just wanted to let you know. I'll keep you updated," she said.

"Alright." Her mum let out a sigh. "I guess we are moving both you and hopefully Ron out of the dorms for the last time next week?"

She smiled. "I guess so. Your kids are all grown up."

Her mum let out something between a laugh and a sob. "Oh, don't you start. You're all still my babies, even when you're having babies of your own."

"I know, mum. I'll talk to you soon." She waited for her parents to say goodbye and then ended the call. She looked over at Harry. "Your turn."

He sighed. "I don't want to."

She laughed. "They're not going to react worse than mine and they're waiting. Chop chop."

He took up his phone and chose his mum from the contact list. He put it on speaker too before putting it down.

"Hi Harry," Lily said.

"Hi," he replied. "Dad there?"

"I'm here," James replied. "What news are you bringing now? Your mum's been fretting about it since you texted."

"I didn't!" she said quickly.

Ginny smiled at Harry.

"I told you it wasn't bad news," Harry told them.

"And I wasn't worrying," Lily added.

"Liar."

"Ginny and I will be moving in together. We're going to look at some apartments that are close to the campus so that baby nugget has a home while we try graduating next year," Harry said. He had said it much more to the point than what she had rambled.

"Ginny, you're there, right?" Lily asked.

She met eyes with Harry and he nodded.

"Yes, I am," she confirmed. "Why? Were you going to say different things if I wasn't?"

Lily gasped. "Of course not. I just figured that wasn't news he wanted to tell without you there."

Ginny met eyes with him and smiled.

"We will miss you here of course, but since you're trading us for Ginny I guess you're not too sad?" his dad said.

"It's not a terrible trade," Harry replied. "But yeah I thought I'd move back after college and now that won't be happening."

"It would be entirely unreasonable not to live with your own family," Lily told them. "When did you grow up this much?"

Harry reached out to Ginny's hand and she took it. "I know. And I've had a lot of change of plans lately. Just trying to keep a little on track with the ones I already had."

"Make sure you check for things like mould. It's often hidden, and you do not want that around your baby," Lily suggested.

"And a good kitchen and bathroom is really important. Don't underestimate how much time you spend in there," James added. "I can free up some time to go to listings with you two, if you'd like. You kids tend to miss some obvious things."

"Thanks, James," Ginny answered. "That could actually be helpful. You probably have a better idea of things we need, or what wouldn't be practical."

"Either way, we were already planning on sending you all the listings we picked out once we go over them today, so you can have some input," Harry said. "It's a big change after all."

"And we may need help on moving day," Ginny suggested. She had an inkling Harry wasn't going to let her lug furniture around.

"Of course!" Lily replied eagerly.

"Between you and my parents and brothers, I think it should be quick," she said. "Ron already confirmed he'd come no matter the day."

"Moving day is very important. When are you thinking of moving?" James asked.

"Depends on availability but preferably well before the term starts. It's our final year so we will be busy enough. I think we should be mostly settled by then." Harry squeezed her hand.

"Don't forget to think about parking space!"

"And other apartments nearby."

"And if it has an elevator!"

Harry laughed at the string of advice. "Thank you, that's already helpful. I will probably send you some links later today."

"Good."

"Okay, talk to you later," Harry said, his finger hovering over the button.

"Do you need me to send you a list?" Lily asked.

"Bye, mum." He smiled.

"Bye, my baby!" she said.

He ended the call. Ginny held up both her hands and high-fived him.

"We're getting better at these," Harry commented.

She nodded. "Let's just hope it doesn't become a habit. It's not good for my stress levels."

He stood up and held out his hands so she could pull herself up. "Let's look at some apartments."

Ginny pointed at the papers as she sat beside him at the table. "What have you got there?"

Harry eagerly put them down, one beside the other. "A selection of six apartments that fulfilled our conditions... Close to campus, room for a baby and affordable to us."

Ginny looked over them for a moment.

"I think we should make a top three and go from there."

She nodded and took one paper up and then paused. She looked over at the others. "Harry, why are there no prices on any of these?"

"Since the agency pays part of my accommodation and the rest will be for me... I don't want you to worry about that. You should pick freely, these are all within range," he told her. The glare he received now made him realise he must have messed up, but as to how he wasn't entirely sure. "I know you are more sensitive about money," he continued. "So I just wanted to take that pressure off you."

Ginny put the paper down. "Are you joking?" Her eyes were shooting daggers.

Harry stalled. "Uhm..."

"Do you think I can't handle seeing a few numbers?" she snapped.

"No, of course you can," he told her quickly. "I just thought it'd be nicer if you can choose without worrying about that."

She frowned at him. She slumped back in her chair and took a deep breath, biting her tongue. She looked at him again. "How would you feel if I did that to you?"

His eyes dropped down to the table. "I would want to know."

She nodded. "Exactly. Now open your laptop and show me the full thing." She pulled his laptop closer.

He opened it and opened the first tab. "That's that one," he said quietly, pointing at the paper she had picked up before.

Ginny leaned in and looked at the screen. "Does that include utilities?"

"I—" He didn't know. "I forgot to check that."

Ginny shot him another unimpressed look. "And that is why we look at it together, you pretzel."

Harry let out a deep sigh. "I'm sorry." He stood up from his chair and walked a few paces. He turned around to find Ginny looking at him. "This is supposed to be fun, isn't it?" he said. "And I fucked up." His hand ran through his hair. "I want to be happy about you and the baby but every decision we have to make kind of sucks a little."

She stood up. "I know," she said softly. She neared him. "How about we try not to make that even more complicated for each other?"

He nodded.

Her hands found his waist. "When in doubt, treat me as a best friend, not a girlfriend." She met his eyes. "I didn't suddenly change personalities."

"I know that." He reached out to her carefully. "I forget sometimes how well we worked as best friends."

"That doesn't need to change, we just add to it." She put her hand on her stomach. "Now let's see which apartments you have picked out as potential first home for the little nuggie. No pressure." And she smiled at him.

"Hah," Harry said, following her back to the table. " 'No pressure,' she said. 'Just the first home of our baby,' she said casually." He sat down and pointed at the laptop. "This one is a bit small, but the shower is really cool."

She shook her head. "We can't live in a shower, Harry."

"Then why do you spend so much time in there?" he muttered.

Ginny softly bit his arm. "Shut up."

He scrolled to the next one. "This one has everything we need and overlooks the campus. It's just not listed when it would be available, but we will have to call them about it."

Ginny nodded. "That's definitely acceptable." She scrolled through the photos. "Oh, a bath and a shower? We need that, Harry. This one is definitely top three."

"Wait until you see the next one," Harry said. He quickly clicked on to the next one. "It has tons of space and is pretty closeby... I just don't understand why it's so cheap."

Ginny squinted at it. "Something must be wrong with it." She gasped, almost looking excited. "Maybe someone died there!"

"I love conspiracy theories, but I don't want our baby to be haunted," Harry said. "I think it's definitely worth checking out but one we need to be wary of too."

She nodded. "Put it on the list." She leaned against his arm. "See, this isn't so bad."

He kissed her forehead. "It's going to be nice as well to live with you."

Her eyes lit up. "Don't know if you're ready to deal with me 24 hours a day."

"Yeah." He frowned in amusement. "I don't see how that's different from now. Except we'll have more privacy."

"I suppose we could use that well," she said as she slid her hand down his arm teasingly.

Harry cleared his throat. "Sure."

Harry and Ginny sat beside each other in silence. In fact, the whole dorm building seemed rather quiet as everyone awaited their exam results.

Ginny pushed the refresh button on her laptop repeatedly.

"It's still one minute to go," Harry said.

"You never know," she responded, hitting refresh again.

Harry watched the clock change and pushed refresh himself. The page took a moment to load and then his results appeared. He had mostly done quite well but his scores were a tad bit lower than his usual average, a fact he had pretty much anticipated.

He looked over at Ginny to see her staring blankly at the screen. He leaned over to see her results. "Gin, those are pretty good. You didn't even fail any classes this time, that's good!"

She nodded. "I know. My results have never been this good." She looked up to meet his eyes.

He paused, wondering why she wasn't jumping for joy. That was spectacular news. "...Okay so why are we not happy right now?"

She shook her head. "No, I am." Then her lip started to tremble.

Harry scooted his chair back and then pulled Ginny onto his lap. She buried her face against his neck. He could feel her tears trickling down. He rubbed her back.

"No one expected me to do well this time around and," —She pointed to the general direction of her laptop. "Then I get the best results I have ever had." She heaved a heavy sigh as she clutched onto him. "This is all your fault!"

Harry resisted laughing because he knew that would piss her off. "I was just there with you, you did all the work, Gin. You can be proud of yourself."

"Please tell me I didn't make you fail," she said, sniffling slightly.

"My results are fine, and still better than yours by the way," he said.

"Good."

The door swung open and Ron walked in. "Great news! I am—" He stopped as he took in the scene. "How bad is it?"

"She did better than usual and passed all her classes," Harry told Ron as Ginny remained with her head tucked against him.

Ron nodded sagely. "I can see how that would be upsetting."

Harry shrugged. "You were saying?"

"I am officially graduating." He smiled happily.

"Congrats, Ron," Harry said.

Ginny finally looked up and turned to Ron. "That's great! Mum and dad are going to be so proud." She smiled at him.

"Yeah, I am calling them in a minute," he said. "If you stop sobbing, we can video call them together."

Ginny wiped at her eyes. "I'll be there in a minute. Sorry, this is stupid."

"Yeah, yeah. Hormones and all," Ron told her. He turned to Harry. "You did okay?"

He nodded. "Yeah, near my usual average so all things considered... it's pretty good."

Ron smiled. "I am glad you two did well, one less thing to worry about."

"Yeah... thanks."

When she was done crying, she walked to Ron's dorm, plopping herself down on his couch.

"Ready?" Ron asked, lifting his phone. "Or do you need to cry more first?"

She shoved him. "Oh, fuck off."

Ron smiled at her and called their parents.

"Hello!" Their dad greeted them. "We were waiting for the news!"

Their mum leaned into the frame too. "And?"

"Ron is graduating!" Ginny said excitedly, pointing at her brother as though they didn't know who 'Ron' was.

"Hey!" Ron glared at her. "That's my news!" He looked at the phone again. "But yes, I passed everything. My thesis was actually really good, so I'm done studying."

Molly smiled, her eyes looking a little tearful. "I am so proud of you, truly."

Ron smiled shyly. "Thanks."

"What about you, Ginny?" Arthur said now, frowning slightly.

She nodded. "I passed all."

"That's great news!" Molly let out.

"Indeed!" their dad added.

They clearly hadn't expected her to do well.

She scratched behind her ear. "Actually, my average was higher than usual."

Molly's eyebrows shot up. "Did he really! That is amazing!"

Ginny nodded. "You can guess what the difference was..."

"You had been studying more with Harry, right?" Molly said.

"He is such a good influence on you," Ron told her. "You really should consider keeping him around."

She rolled her eyes at him.

"How did he do?" Arthur asked.

"Pretty good as usual," Ginny said. "Better than me, maybe slightly less than he's used to?"

"I am glad to hear that." Her mum gave an approving nod.

They wrapped up the call and Ron put down his phone. Ginny relaxed on the couch.

"You do intend to keep him around, don't you?" Ron asked.

She could tell he was asking this as a serious question. "Yes."

Ron smiled. "Good." He glanced away. "You know I wouldn't haven't tried to set you up if I didn't think it would work out. You're both too important to me."

"We still haven't figured out how you noticed before us," Ginny said with a shake of her head. "I genuinely didn't know I had feelings for him."

Ron nodded. "I didn't know if you loved him necessarily. I know how well you two work together, in anything and you two sometimes forget there are other people in the room. You're just in your own happy bubble and it has been like that for quite some time. And then you didn't date for a while so there was even more space for that and it became blatantly clear."

She frowned. "I didn't notice that we do that, but perhaps you're right."

"I guess it comes natural to you. I have been out here third wheeling for ages and you two don't even notice," Ron complained.

Ginny patted his cheek. "Have you considered finding a fourth wheel?"

"I am not letting you set me up anymore if that's what you're suggesting..." He shook his head warily. "One time and never again."

"Oh, come on, she wasn't that bad!" Ginny told him.

He scoffed. "The fact that you can't even admit your mistake, shows you are not ready to take up the responsibility of setting up a date for me."

She stood up. "That's fine. I said no meddling anyway."

"Right." He gasped. "Wait! I'm on the list? With who?"

She smiled innocently as she stepped outside. "Bye, Ron!"
