Thanks for the kind comments and the follows, you don't understand how great that makes me feel. I don't know why but reading them all over again had inspired me to get this chapter out earlier in the week.
This is a bit of a fluffy chapter, after the next chapter, we will get back to the brothers.
No beta, all mistakes are mine.
Sakura didn't know how she would react.
Madara had dismissed her not too long ago. All she did was go to her bed to sit, think and cry.
Kakashi killed me…
She shook her head, hearing the door behind her open. She heard the footsteps come closer to her but she didn't have it in her to turn around and look at who it was. Everyone else was out doing errands for the different demons down here. She heard a voice, someone calling her name. Once she noticed, she turned around and saw that it was Obito.
Sakura stood up, wiping her eyes though they were still red and puffy.
"Obito-sama.. I'm sorry, how can I help you?" Her voice trimble even through her smile.
Obito sat himself down on her bed, patting the spot beside her. Sakura listened and sat beside him, looking at the wall in front of her. He stayed quiet, contemplating his words before he wrapped an arm around Sakura's shoulder out of comfort.
"Madara told me what happened." He said quietly.
"If you want to mourn your death, go ahead."
Sakura nodded her head, leaning it against his shoulder, sniffling a little bit.
"Can you explain something to me?" She asked the demon, who nodded his head. She simply kept her head on him.
"How can someone from down here go to the human world and kill someone?"
Obito thought to himself for a moment before sighing.
"I can't explain it, we've always been able to do it. We just send them, though we get to see what you guys do if we send you."
Sakura nodded her head.
"So… Do you know who sent Kakashi to kill me?" She asked.
Obito shook his head no.
"Though, I know this isn't the right time to defend him, but Kakashi is a really good person. He wouldn't have done it if he wasn't asked to. He's really not a violent person. When he came back, he sat and shook until he was instructed to meet , I'll be honest, I sent Kakashi to do some stuff like that as well, but never to kill an innocent person. Just people who deserved it.
Sakura nodded her head, keeping it in place.
"How do you guys get along so well?" she asked, a little too curious.
Obito decided to give in, if only to make Sakura feel better.
"Well, I can't explain it but we have had some sort of connection since I had sent him to the human world the last time. He had wanted to see how his previous lover was doing and I obliged. After, he seemed like he needed that kind of comfort, so I gave it to him. We got really close." He explained the best he could.
"I can't explain it, it's like he completes me,"
Sakura smiled at that, feeling a little bit better.
"It's nice that you were there for him, but why was he instructed to go to the human world specifically to kill me?"
Obito sighed.
"I think that is a question for my nephews. I don't have the answers, though…"
Sakura brought her head up to look at Obito, noticing he had a red eye like Madara did, flashing purple like Marada's did.
"My nephews had talked about being interested in you before you came here. They brought you up during a meeting and Shisui had convinced Madara to let them bring you here instead of the deeper parts of hell, where everyone else goes."
"Did they say why?"
Obito said no once again.
"Just that Shisui was a little too invested in this for some reason. Now, I can't say who did what, but Shishi would be the one to talk to. Now,"
Obito moved his arm from her.
"I know you have more questions than that."
Sakura nodded her head.
"Why do your eyes glow? Madara's did too."
"Oh, you noticed that on me?" he chuckled.
"Okay, so we are able to make people dream of sorts. Though only a few Uchiha are able to do what Madara and I can do. I think Sasuke can as well, but Itachi and Shisui aren't… if you're curious. We can bend people's will, make them do things we want them to do. The only thing that we all demons have in common is making people dream of sorts. Like, if you looked into my eyes right now, I could make you do things you wouldn't have thought of doing yourself. I could also put you asleep and make you dream. Tell me, have you noticed that you can't dream while you're down here?"
Sakura nodded her head yes, the realization falling on her.
"Well we can make you dream, see different things. Madara is just better at it than we are, of course." He chuckled, Making Sakura chuckle with him.
"Look, I know that things between you and Kakashi will be strained ,but try to be gentle on him. He literally had no choice in the matter and he full heartedly regretted it. Though I understand. If someone had been tasked to kill me and act as if nothing had happened, then I would be mad too."
Sakura nodded her head.
"So, one more question. If I wasn't dragged here, I would have been sent to heaven, right?"
Obito nodded his head yes.
"You haven't done anything particularly wrong. And the Senju would love you."
"Senju?" She asked.
"Yeah, they're the ones who rule heaven, like how we rule hell. I don't know much about them though, just that sometimes our families meet up every once in a century, but it's been a while since that had happened last."
Sakura nodded then sighed.
"Knowing my life was needlessly taken away, it makes me wonder how people are doing without me."
Obito lit up as she said that, smiling. It creeped Sakura out since only half of his face was smiling.
"Would you like to know?"
Sakura looked at Obito Skeptically.
"Remember, I'm able to do some of what Madara does. I can help you see that."
Sakura looked at Obito and smiled softly.
"That would be great," She said
Obito got up from the bed and walked around to face her. He used a finger to lift her chin, making her look at him.
"All I ask is that you stay on the bed. I don't want you hurting your head."
Sakura nodded, looking Obito in the eye. She saw that his eye began to spin, but his pattern was a little bit different. It looked like narrow triangles connected to each other instead of circles. When his eyes flashed purple, Sakura fell for the trance, the lights around her blinding her until she laid back on the bed motionless.
Obito moved her so she was more on the bed. He sat at her feet and sighed.
'At least this will make up for the mess she's in." He mumbled to himself, smiling proudly.
See? Obito isn't evil here.
Thanks for reading!
