Legendary Super Saiyan Raise Once Again!
"Oh man, I'm going to be so late!" A young boy worried as he runs for his life.
The boy named Azuma Han-Kami is a 14-year-old boy with dark purple eyes and dark purple hair with a long ponytail that reaches down upper halfway to the legs and tied in a purple bowtie. He is also wearing a black school uniform.
"I can't believe I stayed up all night just to play that new game my mom convinced me; I'm going to get detention for this. Bold on that one, Azuma!" The purple hair boy now named Azuma worried.
Azuma kept running to make his way to school hoping he doesn't miss the whole first period which is better than missing a whole class or two, but what he didn't know is that he is about to cross path with something dangerous and deadly.
"Okay, just got to cross that street and" Azuma never finished his sentence when suddenly a giant tiger man with four arms popped out of a building.
The boy got caught in the rampage of the tiger monster that he got thrown away like a ragdoll crash onto a window so hard, the impact causes cracks and the boy cough a little blood and bleeding from the head.
"Huh, it looks like I hit a roadkill." The tiger monster man noticed the boy.
"Damn it, what just happened?" Azuma asked groaning in pain.
"Oh, you're still alive? That's a big surprise, but it won't be that way for long." The tiger monster man prepared to kill the kid.
"I don't think so!" A man rushed in and tackled the tiger monster away from Azuma.
"Hey, are you okay?" The man asked.
"My body, I can't get up." Azuma responded.
"Easy there, that look seriously hurt and you'll definitely need to get to the hospital soon." The man said looking at the condition the boy is in.
"Hey kid, what's your name?" The man asked.
"Azuma." Azuma answered.
"My name is Saitama, don't worry, I'll protect you." Saitama promised.
"Foolish little man, you shouldn't keep promises you can't keep!" The tiger monster man charged at Saitama.
"Back off, you shitty cat!" Saitama threw a punch to the face which made the tiger stumble backward.
But the tiger monster man wouldn't go down so easily and stats throwing some barrage of punches with all four of its arms, Saitama does his best to withstand the punches and threw several of his punch at the monster then caught one to break its elbow making him scream in pain.
"Damn it…" The tiger monster man groaned in pain and saw the boy still lying on the ground.
"That kid is still the pray I'm going to kill!" Tiger monster man leaped toward Azuma.
"Hey, I'm the one you're fighting!" Saitama shouted and grab hold of the monster's body trying to prevent him from reaching Azuma.
"I gotcha!" The tiger monster man thrusted his claws deep into Saitama's body causing him to gasp in pain and blood.
"Aw, I think I might have hit something important. So sad that you'll die for nothing, but don't worry because that kid will be joining you soon." The tiger monster man smiled insanely evil.
The tiger monster man moves forward to go for the kid, but strangely he couldn't advance to further for some reason he is struggling. That's when he turns around and became completely shocked of seeing the human who was supposed to be dead right now is actually holding him back and keeping his grip on the monster tiger.
"Like Hell I'm going to let you hurt that kid." Saitama determined.
"Stubborn human, looks like you need some more punishment!" The tiger monster man started rapidly stabbing his claws onto Saitama's body.
But no matter how many times the monster stabs the man, Saitama refuses to let go otherwise this monster will go after the kid and he refuse to let a young life get taken away even if it's at the cost of his own life.
Meanwhile, Azuma is still lying on the ground looking over to see that Saitama is trying to protect him from the monster though he would seem that man is going to die.
"(He's trying to save me, like a hero though it doesn't seem he's an official one like the ones on the news.)" Azuma thought, feeling like he could blackout at any second now.
"(But still, he's trying to save me… A total strange he doesn't know about…)" Azuma thought.
"(Well, at least it'll be worth knowing someone did came to save my life.)" Azuma thought almost smiling.
"(But then why… Why do I feel like being an idiot for thinking like that, why do I feel like I want to do something, and why does this make me angry?)" Azuma thought clutched his fist.
Azuma look back at Saitama still keeping the tiger monster man from moving while taking more brutal blows, sensing that his life is going to end, and Azuma suddenly felt angry toward this situation that is happening right before his eyes.
"(Helpless… I hate being helpless, I want to do something and power… I want the power to be strong to protect everyone I care about and everyone else!)" Azuma thought determined.
"Then it's time to awaken my power." A man voice said in Azuma's head.
"Huh?" Azuma surprised of hearing a voice in his head.
(Mindscape)
Now Azuma find himself in a white voided space with literally nothing around almost like he just enters into someplace of nonexistence.
"What is this place?" Azuma wondered.
"Do not fear, you are not dead. You are simply inside your own mind." The man assured.
"Who's that? Who are you?" Azuma asked looking around.
"Someone who can help you, someone deep within your own soul." The man said.
Azuma turns around one last one to finally meet this man face-to-face.
This man is tall with muscular built with dark skin like he was tanning under the sun, and long spiky jet-black hair with a scar on his left cheek and a larger one shape like a cross on the left side of his chest. He wears purple skintight pants with a green fur pelt around his waist, white shoes and blue wristbands.
"Greetings, Azuma, I'm glad to meet you." The tall man greeted.
"Who are you?" Azuma asked again.
"My name is Broly, I am a Saiyan who once lived in another universe until my life faded from old age and now my soul awakens from within you." Broly answered and explained.
"A soul within my own soul?" Azuma confused.
"I guess you could say you're my next life as the reincarnation or whatever, and now it's finally time for you to inherit my power." Broly said.
"Hold on, this is happening way too fast? I'm not even sure if I want this power!" Azuma freaked out a bit.
"I know you're scared; this power can be scary and can hurt anyone if you do not have full control over it, but I believe you have the heart and willpower to overcome this and any obstacle in your way." Broly said placing a hand on Azuma's shoulder.
"But I'm just a kid, and you're… what exactly is a Saiyan, anyway?" Azuma asked.
"Aliens from another planet, a race of pure warriors seeking to fight strong opponents to become stronger themselves as I am one of them and was born with overwhelming power that I couldn't control it until I had help." Broly explained.
"Aliens, now that's something." Azuma surprised.
"Azuma, you're more special than you realize. And besides, didn't you want to stop being helpless and go save that man, Saitama?" Broly mentioned.
"Saitama! The monster tiger, I have to hurry and do something!" Azuma feared that man will die soon.
"Then accept this power, the power of the Legendary Super Saiyan, to become a man who can use this power to help others and to seek strong opponents to keep pushing yourself through the limits." Broly offered as he brought out a shiny green energy sphere.
"But…?" Azuma hesitated as he isn't sure of what to do right now.
"Azuma, this was your destiny to become strong, far stronger than you can ever imagined for this power will become yours." Broly said.
Azuma never thought something like this could happen like being attacked by a monster, almost dying from that monster attack, and now he is meeting with a soul of a man telling him he's about to get superpowers in the weirdest way inside his own soul. But he thought about how Saitama was going out of his way to protect him from that danger, and the feelings of anger he felt of feeling helpless gave him inspiring motive to become something he never thought of before until now.
To become a hero like the other heroes he's seen on the news and on the streets a few times, and just like that man, Saitama.
"Alright, I'll do it." Azuma said as he made up his mind.
"I want the power, the power to defeat any evil and show them my rage!" Azuma said a little louder with determination in his words and a burning fire in his eyes.
"(It's almost like I'm looking at another Saiyan, and he reminds me of one with a kind soul and a fighting spirit.)" Broly thought smiled, remembering of one Saiyan from before.
"Then come forth and take this power, the power of the Legendary Super Saiyan!" Broly said.
Azuma walk forward to Broly and reaching out his hand to the energy sphere then placing it inside causing the sphere to glow brightly.
"May your life be full of peace and great fights." Broly smiled before everything has been engulfed by the green light.
(Back to Reality)
"Damn it, get off already!" The tiger monster man grabbed Saitama, spins around fast and threw him crashing into a light pole.
"You are one fucking tough son of a bitch, you know that?" The tiger monster man asked.
"You know you could have just walked away from all this to avoid being killed, but nooo, you just had to be a hero for a dumb brat like that one." The tiger monster man mocked.
"It may sound stupid to you, but saving lives is what a hero is. No other reason for that." Saitama stated, looking grin despite losing a lot of blood.
"Well then, guess you can die like a hero now!" The tiger monster man reeled his fist and threw the punch to end the man.
But suddenly he felt as though something grabs his arm to stop him from throwing the punch and struggles to get it moving, confuse of what's going on, he turns around and gasp in shock seeing the kid he wanted to kill is standing up and looking all better now.
"You leave that man alone." Azuma demanded.
"Huh, so now you're playing the hero? Doesn't matter, you're still going to be dead either way." The tiger monster man tried pulling his arm back, but he couldn't budge from Azuma's grip.
"(What the hell…? Why can't I get out of this grip, does this kid have super strength or something? And is that a tail?)" The tiger monster man thought shocked of Azuma's strength and his new tail.
"Fucking brat, don't mess with me!" The tiger monster man threw his other three fists at Azuma.
But Azuma didn't move he let his newfound power do the talking by spiking an dark green aura releasing a powerful shockwave from his body.
"What the heck is going on?!" The tiger monster man gasped.
"Your destruction." Azuma answered.
Before the tiger monster man would react, Azuma already threw a punch right through the stomach in an instant causing the monster to gasp in pain and cough up a lot of blood from his mouth as he starts to become scared.
"(What the Hell?! This kid is completely different than before, it's almost like he suddenly awaken a monster…)" The tiger monster man thought scared then realize something else.
"(No, it's worse… This is much worst than a monster!)" The tiger monster man thought feared.
"Begone." Azuma said before spinning around once and threw the tiger monster man high into the air.
Azuma forms a green energy ball from his hand and launch toward the monster tiger, when it reaches the monster the energy ball grew about five times bigger than the tiger monster man and it disintegrate the monster completely as there is nothing left, and the energy ball exploded when it went pass the clouds.
Once he saw his work is done, he quickly went over to Saitama.
"Saitama, are you okay?" Azuma asked, but fear that he already knew the answer once he saw how bad his body is.
"Damn kid, that was awesome. Did you always have that kind of power?" Saitama asked.
"Not exactly, but we need to get you help quick!" Azuma said.
"I don't think we'll make it in time… That monster did a real number on my body, it's beyond repaired that I won't last long in this world." Saitama chuckled before coughing a little more blood.
"No, no, don't you dare die on me!" Azuma begged.
"You… You said your name is Azuma, right? Then could you do me a big favor?" Saitama asked.
Azuma wanted to turn down whatever favor Saitama is going to ask him and just wanted him to live, but he can sense his lifeforce is already leaving his body and knew there is nothing that can be done for Saitama.
"Okay, what is this favor?" Azuma asked with years about to come out.
"Take me place, go and become a hero to save lives. That's what I wanted to be after saving a kid from a weird crab monster, but now it looks like I'm gonna have to burden you with that." Saitama revealed his favor to Azuma.
"…Yes, I'll do it. I'll become a hero, the strongest hero and protect everyone I care for and others I don't even know! I promise!" Azuma yelled sobbing.
"Cool, I know you can be great." Saitama believed strongly as his last words and closes his eyes for the final time.
Azuma held Saitama's head close to his chest while letting out the tears, the man who tried to save his life is now dead.
No longer containing this, Azuma let out a powerful scream that can be heard from a few miles and his green aura burst in respond to his sad and anger scream with cracks appearing around him.
But with one life end, a new one will raise to take his place and that is what Azuma is going to do in order to fulfill the dying wish of the man who too wanted to become a hero.
(Three Years Later)
The scene shows a city looking strong on a bright sunny day until suddenly a huge explosion erupted along with the screams of people running for their live.
And the one who wasted part of the city is caused by a monster who appears to be human though all purple with two rounded antennae on his head.
"Mommy! Daddy!" A little girl cried out.
The purple monster spotted the little girl and enlarged his hand to crush her, but suddenly she vanished before he can close his fist becoming confuse of where that girl is until he spotted her along with a newcomer.
"Are you okay?" The young man who rescued the girl asked, getting her attention.
"You're a fast one. Who are you?" The purple monster man asked.
The young man stands up and turns around revealing his face to be Azuma.
"I'm Azuma, but you can call me the Emerald Oozaru. A hero." Azuma introduced himself.
Azuma has grown into a fine young man at the age of 17, growing about 5.5 feet tall with his body looking a little small, but muscular with this hair still the same as before. He wears a green furred pelt around his wait in the honor of Broly who gave him the power along with an cross shape scar on his chest, red fighting gloves like the ones Jin wears in Tekken, light blue workout pants like the one Saitama wore before he died, and green running shoes.
"You're kidding. What kind of half-assed backstory is that? Mine's far superior." The purple monster man mocked.
"I was formed from the pollution man wrought upon the earth. I am Vaccine Man!" Vaccine Man revealed himself.
"The earth is a single living organism; you filthy humans are nothing but a disease-causing bacterium eating away at her previous lifeforce. In order to wipe out humanity and the evil civilization built on her surface, the earth, in her infinite wisdom, has given birth to me!" Vaccine Man proclaimed as he starts to transform bigger with more spikes and sharper claws.
"And now "Hero", you will die for the glory of" Vaccine Man's sentence was cut off when Azuma suddenly grabs him by the face and lifts him up easily.
"I think you're holding onto a false goal making you such a waste." Azuma said before unleashing a large energy blast destroying the monster to nothingness.
"Wow!" The little girl amazed.
"Come on, let's go find your parents." Azuma lifted the girl into his arms and flew into the air to help the girl find her parents.
"(I hope the girls remember to buy the groceries today.)" Azuma thought thinking about his girlfriends.

I decided to create this new story as a celebration for the past three years since the bonus OVA of the Horizon in the Middle Nowhere anime and also a Merry Christmas present to you all!
Here is a crossover with the One Punch Man series with Azuma being the main character and most powerful hero thanks to the Saiyan power gift bestow upon him by Broly, becoming the next Legendary Super Saiyan. Sorry for those who love Saitama read him dying in this story. Azuma is adventuring through the life of being a hero along with his own harem which you will know in the next chapter and another thing you will also see.
