Chapter 1: Invisible.

Piedmont, California, September 5th, 2012, Afternoon.

The Rain pelted down as the sky grew dark, The Burnt ruins of Houses, Buildings and Home filled the air, As the Watch made their rounds cleaning up the Debris, Trying to find those they could, With little success.

Mark Testaburger stood out in the ruins, His eyes scanning the scene around him for anything, Any sign of them, Any trace that they were alright.

"He couldn't have gotten them? Could He?" He thought.

He walked down the path as he passed other search parties, Trying to find any source of life at all, All he found was… Well, You kind of get the Picture, Burnt Rubble and all, But yet there were no Dead bodies, A few specs of Blood but no Splattered guts, Strange.

"Jargafar will pay for this!" Fumed Hamlin the Pig, As he kicked at a leftover Kiki, It looked like it had been damaged by Debris

"Dr. Eggman's Badniks alright." Said Mark, Shaking his head at the broken Robot.

"Lieutenant Testaburger!"

Mark turned to a Soldier Mouse running up to him, Skidding to a stop before Saluting.

"Yes Soldier?' Asked Mark.

"Lieutenant Boobowski sent me." Said the mouse. "She's found some survivors! Along with a few of Jargafars rats scavenging the place, But we drove them off."

"Who were they?" Asked Mark eagerly.

"Well…" The mouse trailed off. "I think she's bringing them in now."

Mark looked over the direction of the Mouses Gaze, In the Distance He could see Tiara the Manx and her troop coming towards them with Two familiar Children between them that Mark instantly recognized.

"The Twins…" Mark breathed out then called out, Waving his hands as he walked up. "Kids!

"Uncle Mark." Breathed Dipper, As he and Mabel quickly sprinted across to their Uncle, Embracing in his arms.

He pulled them away at an arm's length before addressing them. "Kids, Where Are Your Parents? Are they…?"

"W-We don't know…" Said Mabel. "These Rats appeared… T-They chased us… We almost…" Mabel trailed off, The Image of the Rat's Dagger still fresh in her mind, Mark stroked her head comfortingly as she crashed back into his arms, Sobbing harder, Mark gently petted her as he looked out among the wastes in despair.

Caer Dathyl, September 15th, 2012, Prydain.

Prime Commander Gwydion looked out the window of his Quarters, His hands clasped behind his back, Mark, Dipper, Mabel and Tiara sat behind him in the seats in front of his Desk, He slowly turned to face them and sat back down in his desk.

"This is… A most unfortunate outcome" Gwydion said, Resting his hands on the Table. "You have my condolences."

"Thank you…" Murmured Dipper.

"We have some things to discuss." Said Mark, getting up. "Tiara, would you please escort them out?"

The Manx got out of her seat. "Of course." Tiara led the twins out of the room, While Gwydion and Mark talked, They didn't hear what was said, The three had already left the room, Tiara led them down the Hall to their guest rooms.

"Make yourselves comfortable." She said as they entered. "We'll be making arrangements." And she left.

Mabel just walked to the bed and sat down on it. Not even bothering to look up, Dipper looked around at their current room, Noticing Mabel's downcast face, Dipper almost wanted to say something, But faltered for a moment, then took a deep breath.

"Mabel." Began Dipper. "...I… Know things seem hard now but…"

"Don't Dipper." Said Mabel, Positioning her back to him. "Don't say anything."

Dipper saw whatever words he was going to say were futile and sadly just left the room, Leaving Mabel alone with only Waddles.

You're invisible when you're sad

Clocks tick and phones still ring

The world carries on like mad

But nobody sees a thing

Whispering behind their hands

Lost for kind words to say

Nobody understands

And everyone goes away

Grown-ups wanna fix things

When they can't it only fills them with shame

So they just look away

Is it being greedy to need somebody to see me

And say my name?

Seems when you lose your mom

No one turns off the sun

Folks carry on, that's that

You're invisible when you're sad

"That should totally be a song on Broadway." Said Mabel.

In the woods, A great many trees stood tall and silent as they were strewn together as the forests of Colorado, A fox found its way to a calm relaxing stream to take a drink from and all was peaceful, But that peace was all destroyed when a loud boom filled the air.

Stomp, Stomp, Stomp!

The Fox quickly looked up and stared at the Direction of the thumps, Quickly retreating as a Roar filled the air, Scaring several birds away.

To Be Continued.
