Chapter 8: Occupation.

Crossover Town, Colorado, September 20th.

Two days had passed since Courtney's Ambush, Mabel didn't even figure out it was her, The latter girl herself soon found herself entering the school building and finding her way to Mr. Garrison's class, Where the aforementioned teacher himself was beginning the day with his usual pop-culture ramblings.

"And so, the obvious bullshit we can tell from this, Is that Skywarp is obviously Cyclonus, As it is Bullshit that a strong Decepticon warrior like Cyclonus, would be spawned by a weak little Insecticon bitch like Bombshell-"

Mabel took her seat next to Wendy and listened fruitlessly as Garrison droned on, She then whispered to Wendy.

"You know, This guy kinda gets a little funny the more he goes on."

"I honestly have no idea how he became a teacher to begin with." Said Wendy, who mostly kept to her notes, As Mr Garrison continued to ramble.

As Mabel sat and listened to the lecture, she did not notice Courtney sitting far behind her, she turned to Kate and nodded, Prompting the latter girl to pull out a straw and spitball from her bag, Both girls grinned deviously to each other, And while Mabel wasn't looking, Kate blew on her straw and shot Mabel in the back of the head with a spitball!

Mabel felt something slightly wet and sticky strike the back of her head, the impact was so surprisingly strong, it sent her head slamming down to her desk with an audible thud!

"OW!"

Garrison turned around iratly at the girl. "Excuse me you lady, Did I say you could interrupt the class?!"

"Wha- I-It wasn't me…!" Mabel protested, As Courtney and Kate snickered behind her.

"Now I don't care if you're the New Girly Girl here." Said Mr. Garrison as he rounded on the poor girl. "But I don't hold for horseplay in this class!"

"I don't see any horses." Said a little boy with a Blonde tuft of hair.

"Shut up Butters." Garrison then turned his attention back to Mabel. "Now you just shut your Mouth little lady and I will personally see you sent straight to the Counselors office!"

Mabel's face hopelessly fell as Garrison returned to his "Lesson" while Courtney and Kate snickered to each other, earning them a scornful look from Wendy.

"Now, As I was saying…" The sound of Helicopter blades stopped him mid sentence. "What the hell?"

One of the other students, An orange fish named Darwin, walked towards the Window and looked outside. "Whoa! Check it out!"

"Soon other students made their way to the window, Evan Mr Garrison, and to their shock, witnessed several Helicopters flying over them accompanied by several jeeps and strange looking tanks that seemed to be standing up.

All over Crossover Town, Advanced Military vehicles crowded the streets, cutting off roadways, halting everything, Soldiers climbed out of the Vehicles and began setting perimeters around certain areas of the Town.

A large command vehicle in particular made its way over to City Hall and parked just outside the front door, The Mayor of South Park, A woman with green hair dressed in Green attire walked out and stared in surprise as the vehicle came to a holt, the side doors opened and out stepped a stern looking Man, dressed in green military clothes and bore white hair with a Grey mustache, he was followed by a seemingly younger officer, with a black mustache.

"Who are you?!" Demanded the Mayor. "A-And what is all this?"

"Are you Mayor Mary McDaniels?" Asked the General.

"Yes." The Mayor said. "What of it?"

The Man then saluted. "General Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross, of the United States Armed Forces, We're here investigating reports of a… "Monster" In the vicinity."

Later, The Mayor, Accompanied by Badger, was in her Office, Listening to General Ross as he explained the situation.

"And so you see." Finished Ross. "This Monster you've heard about is indeed Real, And that is what we're here for."

"You… You're saying that Monster… of which those Ferrets spoke of… is real?" Asked Badger.

"Oh I assure you it is." General Ross said, turning a steely gaze to the Badger. "And it is more than a "Simple" Monster, And until we find it, Our Unit will be occupying this town, to ensure it does not escape!"

"What?!"

Both Mayor McDaniels and Badger couldn't believe this last statement. "You can't just waltz in here and take over! Y-You don't have the Proper jurisdiction!"

"We have all the jurisdiction we need!" Sneared Ross. "Wherever that beast is, I'll be there! I swore just as much! And when Thunderbolt Ross swears, Then let the Heavens have mercy on the poor soul…"

Soon, The Whole town was closed in, All Roads leading in and out were closed, Crossover Town became infested with Soldiers, though nothing else changed much, And it was to this, Mabel could be thankful for, As she, Nick, Megan and Wendy got off the Bus, They saw the Military force patrolling every part of the town they could see.

"Geez, All this over a Bigfoot sighting?" Mabel wondered as she watched Soldiers march through the streets. "Dipped would be over the moon for this."

"He'd probably just go off hunting for it." Said Wendy. "I'm surprised this Monster thing has escalated so quickly."

"If this is the Monster I think this is…" Said Nick, taking an uneasy look at a passing tank.

"What do you mean?" Asked Mabel.

"Guys, Do you even know who these guys are?" Asked Nick as he pointed to the tank as it went by. "I've heard of these guys, They're the Hulkbusters, they only come when the Hulk is around."

"Hulkbusters…?" Mabel was puzzled. "What's a… Hulk?"

"You don't know the Hulk?" Asked Megan. "He's like.. The biggest story since Mutants, Or SuperMan, Not too sure if He's real though."

"They say he's a rampaging Beast." Said Nick. "And these guys have been chasing him down for years, But he somehow always gets away, Never thought he'd be here…"

"Wow…" Mabel was in awe.

As Mabel and Wendy said their goodbyes to Nick and Megan and walked off towards home, They suddenly spied Butters, being harassed by four other boys, The leader of this gang seamed to look just like Courtney, With the same brown hair, which was spikey, and wore a denim jacket, over a striped Black and White shirt with Black shorts, The Three other Boys were holding Butters as their leader got in his face.

"I'm being generous here kid, get the goods by friday or you know what will get ugly."

"O-Okay, Okay, Just don't tell people, please!" Butters pleaded.

Mabel and Wendy stopped and got the Boy's attention. "What do you think you're doing Derek?"

The group looked over and took notice of the girls, Causing Derek to flash a smug smile. "Oh Goody Goody Testaburger, descending from on high to mingle with the commoners, Who's the doll face?"

"I'm Mabel." Mabel already did not like this Kid, Especially if he was possibly related to Her.

"Aw, don't look so disapproving." Derek said with a scoff. "Leopold here, Was just having a decent upstanding conversation with us, Wasn't he Boys?"

"Of course."

"All in Fun!"

"Heh, Heh, Pretty gay fun!"

"T-That's right." Agreed Butters. "Nothing wrong here…"

With a nod from Derek, Two of the Boys, A nearly bald kid named Fosse and a Kid in a Blue Shirt named Bill, let Butters go and he shot off like a Jack Rabbit.

"So, You're the new girl in town?" Asked Derek. "How are you liking Crossover Town so far?"

"Well enough." Said Mabel with neutrality.

"Come on Mabel let's go." Said Wendy, As she took Mabel by the Hand and led her away.

"So… That was?"

"Derek Richards, Courtney's Brother." Said Wendy. "Just avoid him, he's scum."

Mabel quite understood, But she thought he probably wasn't as Bad as Courtney.

Hello Everyone, Happy 2023! I hope you all enjoy this Chapter, It is the first Story update of 2023! And right now we're advancing the Plot as we go. If you've read Crossover Legend Season 2, You'll probably know who Derek Richards is, Right now he's currently under his sister's shadow as the Main Bully, But we'll see his rise come up by the end of the story, Speaking of Courtney, Originally I was gonna have her appear at the end again and pull another Prank on Mabel, But I wanted to introduce Derek to the story as a minor antagonist so I flipped the script.

And just what are the good he was demanding Butters for? Well you'll just have to wait and see.

And what about the Hulk, When will he make his entrance? You'll see very soon, the stage is set and the plot thickens, See you all next time!
