Chapter 12: The Secrets of Courtney Richards.

Crossover Town, Colorado, September 30th, 2012, Crossover Elementary

When Mabel entered School the next day, she stopped and looked around for any sign of Kyle Brovflovski, But all she could find were students going about their day, when they laid eyes on Mabel, they stared at her in surprise and apprehension, Mabel ignored them as she looked for Kyle.

She still had her crutch, But most of the Bandages were leading up nicely, And thankfully left no scarring. As she rounded a corner, she finally sighted Kyle at his locker, getting ragged on by the Fat kid Cartman, while the kid in the Orange Parka, Kenny stood to the side, Pretending not to listen to his peer's ravings.

"It's complete bullshit!" He raged. "I don't even talk to that stupid bitch! And now this goddamn school, Is chewing us out! We don't even care about that Bitch! What the goddamn Hell, Makes everyone think we would waste a single second of our time, On Wendy's dumbass-!"

"Excuse me."

Cartman stopped mid rant and the three boys jumped and stared as Mabel stood right next to them.

"Oh fuck me, It's sixth grader long stockings." Cartman moaned.

"Look, We don't want any trouble-" Kyle said, looking defensive.

"And I'm not looking for trouble." Mabel said. "I just wanted to talk."

"I-I'm sorry I can't." Kyle replied, glancing around worriedly. "If someone sees us talking to you, they'll come for us!"

"I don't care what they react to, I want Answers." Mabel said, her voice more stern than usual. "I'm not an Idiot, I know who attacked me, Why does everyone think it's you?"

Kyle didn't respond for a moment, but then he was about to say something, But before he could, Wendy suddenly appeared and stormed right up to Kyle, shoving him away from Wendy.

"Don't you take another step Brovflovski!" She demanded, jabbing a fierce finger into his chest, Bebe and Red immediately

"N-Nothing! I swear-!" Kyle stammered, as he began to back away.

"Don't you DARE take another step near my Cousin!" Wendy shouted angrily. "I promise you, Kyle, If you try anything with Mabel again-!"

"You'll what Bitch?" Cartman butted in. "

"H-Hey! Wendy! I was just talking to-!" Mabel tried to interject, But Bebe cut him off. "You tell em Wendy!"

"Yeah, Make these assholes-"

"Wait!" Mabel said, cutting off Red, as she sized her up. "You're the kid who gave me those fake tickets and got me trapped in the Closet!"

Everyone stopped and looked at Mabel as Red blanched. "Uh… Was I? I-I'm Sorry if I-"

And Wendy, You know It wasn't Kyle!" Mabel turned to Wendy. "So what are you doing accusing him of things he didn't even do?"

Wendy didn't say anything, She looked to Kyle, then back to her Cousin, A look of almost dread on her face. "Look Mabel." She whispered. "I know he didn't do it, But no one else does and SHE might want it kept that way."

"Whose she?" Mabel asked.

Before Wendy could respond, An unpleasantly familiar voice was heard from behind them.

"And just could this be all this drama?"

Everyone turned to see Courtney standing there, a seemingly innocent smile spread across her face. If Mabel could have slapped that away with her crutch, she would have.

"Oh come on girls." Courtney said as she walked over to the group and got between them. "I know we're all still angry, And to be honest, We all Ought to be, But Kyle DID say he was Sorry, Didn't he?"

Kyle, Cartman and Kenny looked at each other, But didn't say anything.

"And I'm sure it was all just a bit of… Childish fun." She said, as she brought a finger to the Bottom of the young jewish boy's chin, bringing his eyes to meet hers, as if she was… piercing his soul somehow.

"Y-Yes." Kyle gulped.

"Well then." Courtney smiled as she turned to the girls. "Then what say we all let Bygones be Bygones, Hmm?"

The three girls baring Mabel suddenly felt small under the Sinister gaze of the Sixth Grader in front of them.

"Uh… Sure." Wendy said.

"W-We'll be going now." Bebe stuttered.

"Sorry for the Trouble Boys." Red added, looking at the Boys as they left.

"So, I suppose I shouldn't keep you." Courtney said, turning to Kyle, who simply gave her a dirty look.

"No, You shouldn't." Kye said evanly, as he walked away too.

"Pfft, God what a tool." Sniggered Cartman, but Courtney gave him a dark look, causing him to flinch a little and hurry away with Kenny in tow.

"Oh and I almost-OOF!" Courtney suddenly found herself being grabbed by the collar of her shirt and slammed against the lockers by Mabel.

"What did you do?!" Mabel demanded angrily.

"I don't know what you mean."

"Don't play dumb!" Mabel snapped, as she let Courtney go. "Why the hell does everyone think It was that Kyle kid who pushed me down that flight of stairs at the park?!"

"Wasn't it?" Courtney asked, tilting her head.

"Don't bullshit me!" Mabel snarled. "You really believe I'm some kind of airhead!"

"Hmm, Maybe." Courtney mulled over the question. "Oh by the way, Johnny Depps in the closet over there."

Mabel looked to the nearby closet with a deadpan expression. "Okay, If this is some sort of punchline, I'm not follow-"

She turned to find that Courtney had gone. "God Damn it!"

Later on,

When Mabel entered the cafeteria with her tray, she looked to see Nick and Megan coming up to her.

"Mabel!" Megan cried. "Oh my god…"

"We heard about what happened." Nick said. "Are you-"

"I'm perfectly fine." Mabel cut in, before glancing at her cast for a second. "ish."

"Well… good to know." Megan said, before looking at her cast. "You mind if we sign your cast.

Nick pulled out a pen.

"Sure." Mabel said as she held her foot out for her two friends to sign, as they did, she spoke.

"It wasn't Kyle that did this to me, You know that right?" Mabel asked as Nick signed her cast and gave the pen to Megan.

"Then who was it?" Nick asked, Mabel looked over to amongst the Tables, until her eye's set upon Courtney and her minions, The K.K.K.'s Nick and Megan followed her gaze.

"Courtney?!" Megan asked. "Oh I should have known.

"That's it, I should have kicked that Bitches ass from the start!" Nick almost took his jacket off.

"No." Said Mabel. "It won't help anything, I think I get why she was picking on me."

"So she could frame Kyle… But why?" Asked Megan.

"I don't know." Mabel said. "But I might as well find out if I can."

Mabel then hobbled off, making a beeline to Courtney's table, but stopped remembering how well that went last time. Then he noticed Derek sitting a few tables off the side of Courtney's and went over to him.

As she approached the Table, Derek took notice of her and was surprised.

"Well, Well." He smiled. "Didn't think I'd be a handsome suitor for the infirm."

Mabel grimaced at the comment as she sat down.

"So, what made you come to me darling?" Derek asked.

"I wanted to talk to you about… Your sister." Mabel said.

Derek's smirk was replaced with a frown. "Oh her? What are you, gay for her."

"What?! Ew no!" Mabel exclaimed. "I just want to know why she bullied me and framed Kyle Broflowvski for it."

"Oh that?" Derek shrugged. "Shit If I know, She hardly keeps me in the loop."

"Really?" Mabel was perturbed. "You don't get along with her, do you?"

"Yeah, Because she's a Bitch, who only wants me, when she needs me." Derek scoffed. "Just look at her, all high and mighty over there, Nevermind that she practically owns this school."

"I've heard that." Mabel said. "But how? Does your family own the school?"

Derek's eyes shifted from side to side before he spoke. "Well, Not exactly, But you know, Money talks.

"And in my experience, Money makes girls a Bitch." Mabel said

"Hey!" Derek snapped. "Don't you dare be dissing mean girls! They're my type!"

"Like your sister?" Mabel raised an eyebrow.

Derek paused, then spoke in a calm horse tone. "Well… You would think that at first glance, But… deep down, My sister can be more than that… You know, I know she acts like she owns this school… But it's mostly because people just think she THINKS she owns the school."

"What do you mean by that?" Asked Mabel.

Derek's soft expression suddenly looked sinister, Almost like his own Sister's. "Well, You really wanna know?"

Later. (Again.)

As the afternoon sky was upon the town, Mabel managed to sneak out of the House and headed for the school, making sure to avoid Hulkbuster Patrols wherever she could Once she got to the school, she made her way over red bricked wall with her grappling hook and noticed Courtney and her friends enter to school through the Back entrance.

"Where are they going?"

As she climbed over the wall, tossed her crutch down and rolled over, she hit the snow ground as it cushioned her fall. Once she got up, she hobbled through the Playground and stopped at the doors, which were suspiciously left ajar.

"How can this not be a trap?" Mabel thought to herself.

Regardless, Mabel entered the building anyway, she crept through the halls as quietly as she could, making sure there were no security guards nearby.

Then, as she pressed her back against the corner of a hallway, She listened to the sound of Courtney and her lackeys talking.

"Heh, I tell ya." Laughed Kate. "The next time I look at this Video and see the comment condemning this poor kid, They all call him a pig and tell him to eat ham, Hypocrites!

"Heh, Heh, Yeah." Kelly snickered. "I don't understand the joke or punchline.

"Neither do I."

"Well you both shut up?" Kathy asked. "It's barely even nighttime yet! And we've got to get things organized."

"Yes, Nwo let's go get to work." Courtney said, as they entered another room.

Mabel slowly crept out and followed the voices to the room, when she reached the door and peered inside through the window, inside, she found Courtney, Kathy and Kelly sitting on the floor together, apparently playing… Spin the Bottle.

"Okay Ladies. Said Courtney. "Place your bets, we got a few hours to kill before the Job, , So let's have a few rounds, shall we?"

Courtney then placed a bottle in the center of the small circle and spun it. The girls hastily staked out their bets as they eagerly waited for the Bottle to stop and when it did, It pointed at Kelly.

"I won!" She cheered as she collected her new earnings.

"God Damn it!" Kathy scowled. "Why do we even play this? You know there's only four of us here."

"Eh, I just like something to do." Courtney shrugged. "Especially when we can't afford to be too careful."

"I thought we discredited Kyle." Kelly said. "Unless you mean… the Hulkbusters."

"Those military twits?" Courtney almost laughed. "They've been stalking the woods ever since they got here, No, I think we might have a few… evesdroppers though."

Mabel suddenly felt a shadow pop up behind her and realized one of the girls was missing. She quickly turned around and saw Kate right behind her.

"Hey again." Kate sneered as she shoved Mabel through the door and onto the floor of the deserted classroom, catching the other girl's attention.

"Well, Well." Courtney smirked as she got to her feet."Exactly as I was talking about."

Mabel scrambled to her feet and glared daggers at Courtney as she went on.

"I knew Derek would rat you out to me." She added with a roll of her eyes. "Probably though he could get dirt on me, Heh, Stupid fool will never learn, so what did he tell you? Probably what you already figured out."

"That all the bullying you put me through, and what happened at the park were so you could frame that Kyle kid for it." Mabel asked.

"Yeah, Guess you're not so stupid after all." Courtney smiled, Mabel loathed everything about that smile. "I suppose we're out to get more for it."

"What the hell do you think!?" Mabel shouted. "Everything you did to me, Everytrap and humiliation was to frame that kid! And for what?!"

"Okay I know what you're thinking." Courtney said. "It's probably because she could, because she's rich, she can get away with this horrible thing and you're a small week helpless dumbass of a girl, And yes, yes I can, and If usually if I thought you were stupid dumbass I'd ignore you completely, But it's nothing like that, mostly, It's not out of complete Malicious intent, to you or Broflowvski, I only did this to him so I could shut up up about my activities!"

"Activities?" Mabel asked.

Courtney looked at the other girls before speaking. "I think I'd be better to show you."

Later, Once again.

Courtney and the girls led Mabel down to their office and directed her to the wall on the right side of the room.

"What's on this side?" Mabel asked.

"You'll see in just a moment." Courtney said, patting Mabel in the shoulder. "Open the cache."

Kelly pulled back a small portrait and inserted a Number code, with a rumble, the wall began to slide back and reveal something that made Mabel's eyes widen in shock.

Right before them all, was a whole stockpile of drugs and guns! Organized together as if they were some sort of shopping mall.

"Pretty cool, int it." Courtney asked.

Mabel could hardly form words. "Y-You… What is all this?!"

"It's a whole shebang we've got here." Courtney said proudly, as her cohorts rummaged through their stock. "I've been using the school to smuggle drugs and guns in here since the fourth grade. It helps the family, gives me and the girls a fun after school activity to do AND advances our foothold on the criminal underground."

"Already got a good price on this baby." Kate said proudly, as she held up a rifle and packaged it. "Holds up to forty rounds per shot and has a range of twenty meters per second."

"Yeah, that's sure to do some damage." Kathy smiled.

"So… You guys are… Gunrunners?!" Mabel asked in exasperation.

"Plus drugs on the side too." Added Kelly.

Mabel was horrified. "Why? Are you even doing all this?!"

"Why? Well what did you expect me to be?" Courtney asked. "Some airheaded Bitch, who lords over everyone because she's a spoiled Daddy's girl that mooches off his cash just to make herself feel important… And yes that is true to an extent."

"I never would have guessed." Mabel deadpanned.

"But it's mostly that." Courtney went on. "And the simple fact, that this school practically belongs to me, My parent's fund it, their will keeps this town going and nearly this entire student body is at my beck and command, whether they like it or not."

"Like that Tucker girl we blackmailed into giving you that fake Dream Boy High Invitation." Snickered Kelly, before Courtney smacked her upside the head.

"Shut up!" She snapped, before turning back to Mabel. "Anyway, a week before you came, Kyle somehow found out about this and he threatened to tell Principal Victoria, or worse the Police about it if I didn't stop, I had to find some way of keeping his mouth shut, And that's when you came in, A typical new girl, So fresh, So eager to fit in, Only to be turned down at every turn by others, You know the trope, And that's when I thought, If she ended up bullied, people would rise to the occasion to punish those responsible, And I knew the perfect scapegoat."

"So… all this, was to just hide your dirty secrets?!" Mabel asked incredulously.

"Something like that." Courtney shrugged.

"So why reveal all this to me?!" Mabel asked.

"Well, You did show interest in… "Being friends." Courtney asked, as she brushed a finger against Mabel's shoulder, before turning to her desk. "Come join up with me, then we can all be friends, just as you want."

She pulled out a suitcase of cash and showed it off to Mabel. "I'll even pay you, all so long as you keep your mouth shut, and nothing bad will happen again, particularly to that… piggy of yours."

Courtney gave a vile smirk as Mabel's eye's bulged out of their sockets, a deep growl erupting from her throat as she smacked the case away, dollars flying everywhere.

"You think…" She began, her voice horse with fury. "That you can just… terrorize me… push me down a flight of stairs… pin the blame on others… Lord over this school like the Queenpin you are?!"

"It's only natural." Courtney said simply. "We Richards own this town and if you think you can do something about it, You're barking up the wrong tree, So take my advice, keep your mouth shut, or it could get ugly for you."

Mabel glared defiantly at the Psychobitch before her, Before quickly hobbling away. "Where are you going?" Courtney called. "This is a war you can't win Bitch! Not by yourself you sad lonely Bitch!"

Mabel ignored her the best she could, determined to not look back, filling her every being, blocking out the sense of hopelessness that loomed in her heart, as Courtney and her lackey's watched her go.

"We'd better go after her." Kate said.

"No need for now." Courtney said, as she sat down at her desk. "If she spills, We'll be ready."

Evening.

Wedny sat on the couch when Mabel entered the room.

"Mabel?" She asked. "Where have you been?"

Mabel sighed. "Nowhere." And she went up stairs, she entered her room and wobbled to her bed, where Waddles was resting, as she mounted it, she set her crutch on her nightstand and gazed up at the ceiling, Waddles nuzzling her side as she sighed hopeless, completely unsure of what to do and hopelessly wishing that Dipper was here.

To Be Continued.

Now this has so far been my favorite chapter to write, Now when Courtney was first created, She was just a Bootleg Pacifica who was in love with Dipper and wanted to steal him from Pacifica, Similar to her Brother, But I went and changed that and made a far more menacing Antagonist, Something similar to the Penguin from Batman, I hope you all enjoyed her revelation.

Now Mabel is really stuck in a rock and a hard place here. She really wants to stop Courtney and clear Kyle's name, But she doesn't know how, And she can't really trust her Family at the moment, But maybe… something will come along, in the woods.

I really hope you've all enjoyed this story so far. From here, Everything starts advancing and you'll be surprised at what you find along the way.
