"We have told you about Lancex. But we know nothing of you or your world. Tell us" Cor strongly demanded, wanting the truth.
Predaking and Optimus looked at each other and nodded. Optimus touched a certain point on his helm and revealed his memory, from long before the war. "Before the war, Transformers got along and shared our world. Yes, we had our differences, but they were worked out amicably usually. Then, once Megatron appeared on the scene, things changed. Civil war began. Brother fought brother, destruction destroyed our homeworld. But Megatron wasn't satisfied and driven to rule the universe by tyranny. We left Cybertron to fight them. We have fought them on many worlds and now, our current world we fight them is earth" Optimus carefully explained, his memory show showing just the destruction he had seen as well as lives that had been destroyed. Even Predaking was disturbed by what he had seen.
"You have seen much more than we thought" Cid acknowledged. "But I didn't see you, Predaking. How do you fight in all of this?"
"Before that, what were those small beings at your feet in your memory banks?" Cor asked.
"Those are how big earth humans are compared to us in our regular realm" Optimus asked stunning th others.
"But back to your question… I wasn't around during the golden age. An evil Decepticon scientist found a technological fossil, so to speak, and created me as a weapon against the Autobots, the good guys of our realm. I didn't realize it at the time, but they manipulated me, showing me a movie where the Autobots came in and destroyed my brethren. I was an angry for a long time on what I thought I knew, and so I attacked the Autobots at the behest of Megatron, the leader of the cons. It wasn't until Lancex came and showed me the truth, that it had been the cons, that I realized I had been used. After that, I joined the Autobots, whose leader is Optimus Prime" Predaking stated, revealing a truth the others didn't know. Optimus quickly explained what a Prime was so that the others would understand.
"You know those promises we made still stand, right?" Gladiolus asked.
"We understand" Optimus replied before asking a question, "do you know about Lancex being a submissive bot?" The others were confused until Optimus and Predaking explained.
"We don't know the answer to that, as the Prince keeps information like that very private. But since he is a prince, many are after him for other reasons, hence we do our best to keep him safe" Cid answered. Optimus and Predaking nodded, hoping for the best and hoping Lancex would return from his mission in one piece.
