Rajveer feared that he would receive a transfer notice soon since the triggers were no longer in KMA and the spy was discovered dead. However, he was reluctant to leave and thus appealed to Col. Shakti to allow him to remain in KMA until Naina and her cohort had completed their training. Col. Shakti granted Rajveer's request for a relaxed posting for a year, taking into account his history of carrying out consecutive active missions for several years. BC was informed that Rajveer had been appointed as a faculty member of KMA and would be expected to adhere to all rules and regulations, having been relieved of his OSD (Officer on Special Duty) duties. However, since Naina and Rajveer's relationship was already known, they were exempted from certain rules as a gesture of goodwill. Nevertheless, they were required to prioritize their duties and training over their relationship.
As the first-year cadets were departing for an 8-day vacation before commencing their second year's training, Rajveer received news of his posting from BC and returned to his room. There, he discovered Naina in a state of confusion, hastily moving about his room.
Rajveer asked Naina, puzzled, "What are you doing?"
"I'm packing your bags, but I'm not sure what to bring and what to leave behind," Naina replied with a pout.
Rajveer put his arm around her shoulders and inquired, "Why are you packing my bag, dear?"
"I'm bringing you home with me this time. I want you to get to know my family better. Plus, you have a vacation for the next eight days. What will you do here all alone?" Naina responded stubbornly.
"Do you think they'll be okay with me staying there? I'm just a regular human, and as you've told me before, I'm not supposed to know about your kind's existence. I'm afraid I'll learn too much about your family's life if I'm around them 24/7," Rajveer pointed out.
"You're right. But I believe it's time for you to learn the truth about what happened to me after I was abducted. I lied to you about being in a coma. I want you and Alekh to hear the story directly from the source." Naina said, before flashing a mischievous smile. "Captain Rajveer, are you being considerate of our family secret or are you afraid you might end up as dinner at our home?" she teased.
Rajveer smiled and rolled his eyes. "I'm not intimidated by anyone," he replied to Naina. He then walked over to his bed and inspected the contents of his bag to see what Naina had chosen to pack so far. "If you're absolutely certain, then fine," he acquiesced, and began to continue packing.
As he packed, Naina peered over his shoulder to see what he was doing before darting over to his closet to grab a few more t-shirts. "Take these ones too," she exclaimed excitedly.
Rajveer smiled at her excitement and took them. "So, other than hanging out with the family, what are your plans?" he inquired.
"I've never been in a relationship before, but with you, I want to be able to show my affection openly. We're not allowed to have any public displays of affection here, but at my house, we can spend hours together, go on dates, have picnics, and do so much more without any restrictions," Naina explained eagerly, pacing behind him. She was thrilled at the idea of spending time with him without any limitations.
Rajveer turned out and smiled at her affectionately. He stopped her by grabbing onto her hand before pulling her for a hug. "I will do whatever you wish... but I have a condition." he told her with a smirk.
Pulling back, Naina gave him a confused look. "What condition?!"
"Please don't call me 'Rajveer sir' when we're at your home. It's already awkward enough that I'm dating my student, and I don't want your brother to be reminded of that fact constantly," he explained with a sullen expression.
Naina burst into laughter at his statement. "As you wish... Rajveer." she replied before leaning up and placing a kiss on his cheek. He smiled and hugged her tighter.

Upon arriving at the Campbell mansion in the early morning, Naina, Rajveer, and Alekh were greeted by a sight that left them in awe. The sun had just risen in the sky, casting a warm glow over the estate. The mansion that stood before them was massive, with grand architecture and sprawling grounds. Rajveer's jaw dropped as he took in the sheer size and luxury of the place. He had been to his godfather, Lala Gehlot's mansion before, which was already quite grand, but this was on a whole other level.
The mansion occupied a vast property of fifty acres, encircled by a dense forest of trees. Naina informed him that there was a gorgeous lake situated behind the mansion which belonged to their property and was ideal for activities like fishing and jet skiing. Upon reaching the entrance, Rajveer was awestruck by the sheer magnificence of the mansion. Its towering columns, grand windows, and the intricate details carved on the walls made it an architectural masterpiece. The backyard was equally impressive, with a huge swimming pool and a vast garden that appeared to stretch endlessly.
They stepped out of the car and Naina led Rajveer towards the main door, taking his hand. Alekh followed with a slight smirk, knowing the overwhelming feeling Rajveer must be experiencing. He had felt the same during his first visit for Diwali vacation.
As Naina raised her hand to knock, the door opened before she could. The butler greeted them with a wide smile, saying, "Good morning, young mistress! Welcome home!"
"Hello, Mr. DD. How have you been?" Naina greeted with a smile.
"I'm doing well, ma'am," replied the butler.
"That's good. Ah... our bags are in the car. Can you get someone to take them to our rooms?" Naina asked as she started heading in. Suddenly, she recalled something and turned to the butler, asking, "Has my mom arranged a room for Rajveer?"
"Yes, ma'am. The second bedroom on the third floor had been prepared for Captain Rajveer. Natasha ma'am had it renovated, saying that he is your husband-to-be," the butler, Danial David, informed with a polite smile.
"Thank you, Mr. DD," Naina replied with a smile.
Rajveer's cheeks flushed at the mention of being Naina's husband-to-be. He was still getting used to the idea of being in a relationship with her. Alekh chuckled at their senior's reaction and patted him on the back in amusement.
As they walked through the grand entrance hall, Naina pointed out some of the family portraits hanging on the walls. The Campbells were a wealthy and influential family, and their mansion was filled with rich history and stories of the past.
Naina, Rajveer, and Alekh walked into the grand living room, their footsteps echoing off the marble floors. The spacious living room boasted stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that provided a breathtaking view of the outdoors. The natural light that streamed in illuminated the room and gave it a warm, inviting feel. The comfortable and stylish furniture, including a generously-sized sofa and a large TV, made it an ideal space for relaxation and entertainment. The cozy fireplace added an extra touch of comfort and elegance to the room, making it the perfect place to curl up with a good book on a chilly evening.
On the first floor, there was a smaller family room that overlooked the main living room through an opening. This design element created a sense of openness and connectivity between the two spaces while still allowing for some separation and privacy. The family room provided a more intimate setting for smaller gatherings or casual lounging, while the main living room was perfect for larger gatherings or formal entertaining. The overall design of the living room and family room spaces created a harmonious balance between functionality and style, making it a truly exceptional home.
The sound of soft classical music filled the room as they entered., Naina's older brother, Thomas had been working on his laptop. Seeing them, he stood up from his seat and came over to give her a hug. "Hey sis, welcome back!" he said with a grin. "Congratulations on passing your first year as a cadet and not ending up killing the whole academy." With a wink and his arm still resting on her shoulder, he continued to joke around with her.
"Tommy!" Naina whined at his teasing and playfully slapped his stomach, causing him to burst into laughter.
Alekh warned Thomas with a smirk, "Don't tease her anymore, brother, or she'll be pouting for the next eight days of our vacation." After the warning, Alekh greeted Thomas with a warm hug, asking, "How have you been, bhai?"
Thomas reciprocated the hug and affectionately cupped Alekh's face as he inquired, "I'm good, Alekh. Are you okay?"
With a nonchalant shrug, Alekh replied, "I'm coping."
Turning his attention to Rajveer, Thomas greeted him with a warm smile and said, "Welcome to our humble abode, Captain! How have you been?"
Rajveer responded with a small smile and a shrug, saying, "I'm still processing the information I've received so far."
"Good morning, everyone! WELCOME HOME!" exclaimed Jeremy, Thomas's mate, as he greeted everyone from the opening on the first floor.
Upon hearing Jeremy's voice, Naina let out a delighted squeal and dashed towards the stairs. Jeremy quickly made his way down the stairs to meet her, embracing her in a hug as she flung herself towards him. The hug was short-lived as he spun her around before gently placing her back on her feet.
"My little one! I missed you so much," he told her as he planted a kiss on top of her head.
Thomas couldn't help but chuckle as he watched Naina and Jeremy's affectionate reunion. With a roll of his eyes and a shake of his head, he remarked, "They're acting like they haven't seen each other in weeks. Who would have thought they only met less than two days ago?" His playful smirk conveyed his amusement at their enthusiastic display of affection. Rajveer couldn't help but hide a smile behind his hand at Thomas's comment, while Alekh chuckled openly. However, their laughter didn't go unnoticed as Naina and Jeremy quickly turned towards Thomas, giving him a stern look.
"You're just jealous!" they exclaimed in unison, before turning their noses up at him in playful defiance.
Natasha and William joined the group from their room on the second floor, looking overjoyed to see their children return home. Natasha playfully scolded Thomas, the head of their coven, for teasing Naina and Jeremy.
"Thomas, why do you have to tease them? You know how much they love pampering each other," she chided, before turning to her daughter and giving her a tight hug. "Welcome home, my darling," she said, beaming with joy. She then noticed Rajveer and added with a twinkle in her eye, "And I see you finally brought your mate home with you?" as she gestured towards him.
Naina giggled in agreement and wrapped her arm around her mother's waist, nodding in response to her question. "Yes, it was time," she replied happily.
Natasha turned to Rajveer with a welcoming smile. "Captain Rajveer, welcome home, son!" she exclaimed joyfully. "I can't tell you how happy I am that our daughter found her mate so quickly," she added, beaming with pride.
Rajveer humbly replied, "I'm the lucky one, Mrs. Campbell... and please call me 'Rajveer'."
William interrupted, recognizing that they all needed some rest after a long night of travel. "I know we have a lot to talk about, but you guys traveled the whole night. Naina, dear, why don't you show Rajveer his room? Alekh and Rajveer need to rest. We can all catch up later after you've freshened up and rested a bit," he suggested.
Naina led Rajveer to the left hallway on the third floor, while Alekh followed them and went to the right hallway. They stopped in front of the second bedroom, and Naina pointed towards the room with a warm smile. "This is your room. My room is just down the hall from you. If you need anything, don't hesitate to find me, okay?" she said.
Rajveer nodded, grateful for her kind gesture. As Naina went to her room, Rajveer entered his own. He was surprised by the luxurious surroundings. The house clearly displayed the wealth and prosperity of the Campbells in every detail, and the guest room was no exception.
The luxurious bedroom exudes elegance and comfort, featuring a queen size bed with a plush blue bed cover that adds a pop of color and creates a cozy atmosphere. The bedding is complemented by blue curtains that hang from a curtain rod, framing the large window that lets in natural light. In the corner of the room, there is a blue couch with soft cushions and throw pillows that offer a comfortable place to lounge or read a book. A plush blue carpet covers the floor, providing a warm and inviting feeling underfoot.
The walls are painted white, which creates a clean and sophisticated backdrop for the room. A sparkling crystal chandelier hangs from the ceiling, adding a touch of glamour and luxury to the space. The large window is the centerpiece of the room, allowing natural light to flood in and providing a stunning view of the surrounding scenery. The window is dressed with elegant blue curtains that add a touch of drama and privacy when desired. Overall, this luxurious bedroom is a serene oasis of relaxation and style, perfect for unwinding after a long day or enjoying a peaceful night's sleep.
Rajveer noticed that his bags had already been brought in, so he unzipped one of them and grabbed a change of clothes. He then headed to the shower and took a quick one before going to bed for an hour or so to rest. When he woke up, he freshened up and went downstairs, as he couldn't find Naina in her room.
The Campbell family was gathered in the dining room, with Alekh and Naina amusing everyone with stories of their friends' shenanigans. Rajveer couldn't help but smile at how well Alekh had blended in with the family. It was hard to believe he wasn't a born member. When Tom noticed Rajveer, he gestured for him to join.
"Rajveer, come and join us. We want to hear your side of the story. We know they're not telling us everything," Tom said.
Rajveer noticed Naina giving him imploring looks and chuckled before sitting down next to her at the dining table. As they all enjoyed their brunch, Rajveer shared hilarious stories about his cadets. The family enjoyed each other's company, discussing their experiences and updates since their last meeting. The atmosphere was pleasant and cordial, and Rajveer felt grateful to be included in Naina's family gathering.

Campbell coven, Rajveer and Alekh gathered in the library. The library was a grand space, with two floors of wooden interiors and a cozy atmosphere that seemed to envelop the visitors as soon as they enter. The scent of books and polished wood permeated the air. The first floor and second floor had books neatly arranged on wooden shelves that stretched from floor to ceiling. A large floor to ceiling window dominated one side of the room, allowing natural light to flood in and illuminating the space with a warm, golden glow. The window offered a stunning view of the surrounding scenery, with lush trees and greenery stretching out as far as the eye can see.
There are plenty of seating options scattered throughout the library, with comfortable armchairs, couches, and sofas available to sink into and lose themselves in a good book. A large wooden table with chairs were situated in one corner of the room, providing a space for study or work. Overall, this library was a dream-come-true for any book lovers and those seeking a quiet space to read, study, or simply relax. This was Naina, Alekh, and Thomas's most favorite place in this whole house.
"Rajveer? Alekh? As you both got to know many of our secrets, I think it's time that you learn the equations of our family." William started the family meeting. "But before I start, I need to know your decisions about learning the complete truth." he told them.
They selected the library because this was the only room in the house where no servants were allowed. Not only that, the library was sound proof so that the family could have their meetings here without hesitation. Natasha did these changes after hiring the human servants for Alekh.
"I'm ready to be a part of this family in all senses... but as Naina told me that I would need to be kept away from humans after the change for at least a year, I think I would like to change after Naina is done with her mission to proof Naveen bhai innocent." Alekh shared his plans. "I want to be by her side throughout this mission." he added, giving a warm smile to Naina.
She beamed at him in answer. She didn't know what good deed she had done to get not one but four such loving brothers. Rest of the family also smiled seeing the love between the siblings. They were also happy with Alekh's decision as they considered him their child since he first came to visit.
"What about you, Rajveer?" Thomas inquired.
"I still need some time. Being an Army officer and protecting my country had been my life for a long time. I got to this position after many struggles. It's kind of hard for me to instantly decide to not be a part of this." Rajveer replied apologetically.
"Rajveer, son, take all the time you need. No one will pressure you on this matter." Natasha assured him.
"Okay then, let's start with our family's structure." William proceeded to give more details about the members of their coven. "Thomas is the founder and leader of our coven, and he was changed more than 500 years ago. His mate Jeremy was turned by Tom 270 years ago, and they have been together ever since. Tom also turned Natasha and me 150 years ago after finding out from Jeremy that we were soulmates," he explained, "and finally, our youngest member is Naina, who joined our coven 7 years ago after being turned by Tom."
He paused for a moment, as if reflecting on their long lives as vampires. "We have all seen and experienced so much over the centuries," he continued, "but we are grateful to have each other and our coven to rely on. And now, we are lucky to have Alekh and Rajveer in our lives as well. Boys, welcome to the family."
Rajveer expressed his gratitude with a smile, as he now comprehended why every member of the Campbell family held Thomas in high regard. He then requested, "I am aware of the version of how Naina came to be a part of this family, but could you please share the actual story?"
Alekh also expressed his curiosity, saying, "I would like to know about it too."
Naina started sharing what actually happened that day. She told them that on her first day of college at the age of 18, she had lots of fun and was eager to share her excitement with her older brother, Naveen. However, on her way back home, a white microbus suddenly came to a stop beside her and she was snatched from the streets in plain day light. With a detached look on her face, Naina told Alekh and Rajveer that the people that took her soon sold her to another group a few days later. These group was actually a human trafficking ring. Naina shared how over the next five weeks she had tried to escape multiple times and how she would get beaten for it, each time ending up in even worse condition.
With a small smirk, she shared that during her last attempt to escape that place, she was caught and the leader of that group decided to make an example out of her. They had beaten her in front of the other victims until she was literally counting her last breaths. Suddenly like angels of death, Thomas and Jeremy arrived.
Thomas wrapped his arm around Naina's shoulder and started telling their version. "Ever since I was able to get control of my bloodlust, I haven't drunk any innocent's blood purposefully. When Jerry, Will, and Nats joined this family, they followed this method as well. We would search out bad guys and hunt them for blood. 7 years ago, Jerry and I were on our monthly hunt when we got the location of that human trafficking group. We attacked and started breaking the necks of the criminals while making sure the victims were able to get out. Jerry had already started drinking after the victims were out. I was about to do the same when I heard a small whimper at the other side of the room. I went there and there was a strong smell of blood. I understood that someone was injured but alive. Since Jerry and I had already broken all the criminals' necks, I understood that whoever was making this noise had to be one of the victims." Thomas sighed, as if even the memory of that scene was heartbreaking for him.
Naina smiled, understanding what he was feeling, She hugged her maker and pulling back, she dropped a kiss on the back of his hand.
Tom patted her head with an affectionate smile before he continued, "When I reached the room, I felt like... I felt like I went back 500 years ago... to the day when my family was turned. I was a landowner. My ancestors had been knights so we had quite a bit of land in our family. I was married and I had a little girl. She was only 8 years old when this happened. One night, a coven of our kinds attacked our village. There were four or five of them maybe. In one night, they had annihilated everyone. I think I was an accidental turn. Because when I woke up after my change, there were only dead bodies and nothing else. They even killed my little girl. I found her broken, bloodless body thrown across our lawn like a discarded chocolate wrapper." He took in a deep breath as Jeremy had walked up to him and cupped his face, sadly. Tom smiled at him for his support before he started again, "Anyways... I never forgot my baby girl. 7 years ago, when I walked into that room, I felt like I was seeing my daughter again... in pain and on the verse of dying. I sat beside her as she opened her eyes and looked at me. She had the same color eyes as my daughter. It felt like the whole universe was telling me that to grab this chance. So, I did. I knew she was too injured to survive as a human. So, I..." Thomas paused before he recalled that Rajveer and Alekh weren't ready for the complete detail. "I changed her into our kind." he ended shortly.
Rajveer acknowledged that he now comprehended the reason behind Naina's warning about her brother, Thomas, being overly possessive and protective. He realized that it was understandable for Thomas to act that way, as Naina was like a daughter to him, his precious little girl. Therefore, Rajveer understood why Thomas had given him such menacing glances during their initial encounter.
Alekh rose from his seat and approached Thomas. He knelt down in front of him and held his hand, saying, "Back then, you could have simply allowed her to pass away peacefully and perform her last rites appropriately. You wouldn't have had to bear the responsibility of her for the rest of your life like this. However, you made the decision to save her, and as her brother, I will always be indebted to you."
Thomas responded to Alekh, dismissing his gratitude by saying, "You're being foolish! There's no reason for you to be thankful. Naina is my child, and how could I let her slip away? She has a bright future ahead of her." He then cast a loving gaze towards Naina.

Later that afternoon. Natasha accompanied Alekh to the orphanage and the old-age home that he had visited during Diwali, while Tom, Jerry, and Will headed to the office for a board meeting. Meanwhile, Naina and Rajveer decided to go on a picnic to the forest located beside the mansion. Naina led Rajveer to a large oak tree, where she had set up a rope swing. They laid out a blanket under the tree and spent several hours snuggling, conversing, and playing card games, relishing each other's company. They also had a picnic basket sent by the butler, Mr. DD, which included sandwiches, fruits, and lemonade, providing Rajveer with refreshments during their outing.
On the following day, Rajveer and Naina opted to take a stroll through the forest. Rajveer desired to perceive Naina's genuine self without any illusion, and Naina was keen on exhibiting her extraordinary abilities to her mate. Naina effortlessly uprooted an entire tree and flung it far away. To demonstrate the importance of being in control at all times, she demolished a nearby boulder into fine dust. Finally, she lifted Rajveer onto her back and sprinted at full speed until they reached a small meadow teeming with wildflowers in just a matter of minutes.
They walked hand in hand, leisurely strolling through the meadow, marveling at the vibrant colors of the flowers. A small pond lay nestled in one corner of the meadow, and Rajveer and Naina took a seat on the bank, observing the ducks glide through the water and feeding them with breadcrumbs.
Later in the evening, the group of youngsters made the decision to go clubbing. Rajveer simply desired to watch the cricket match and unwind on the couch, but both Naina and Alekh pouted and begged until he gave in. The entire Campbell family dressed up in their finest attire and danced the night away to their beloved tunes. Naina took it upon herself to teach Rajveer some of her favorite dance moves, and they giggled and bantered while grooving on the dance floor.
On the third day, Naina suggested that they engage in a more tranquil activity since both Alekh and Rajveer had indulged in alcohol the night before at the club. She gathered her entire family in the theater room, and they spent the day watching classic yet celebrated Hindi movies.
The room was filled with laughter and nostalgia as the family members relished the films and shared their fond memories of them. The air was infused with the aroma of freshly-popped popcorn and the taste of warm, buttery goodness on Alekh and Rajveer's tongues. Everyone snuggled on the comfortable couches, delighting in the simplicity of the moment and the warmth of their shared love.
On the fourth day, the family decided to take a break by the lake, where they could unwind and soak up the sun. They packed towels, sunscreen, and other essentials, including water sports gear. Rajveer, Alekh, and Naina competed in a thrilling swimming race, with Naina's vampire speed making her the undisputed winner, much to the amusement of the rest of the family. As they basked in the sun, the family indulged in water sports like racing water jet skis and paddle boats.
They also played games like water volleyball and splashed around in the cool water, savoring the refreshing feeling of the water on their skin. As the sun began to set, they gathered around a bonfire, roasting marshmallows and savoring the last moments of their peaceful retreat.
On the fifth day, Rajveer expressed his desire for hiking, and Jeremy suggested a nearby mountain as a good spot for hiking with minimal risk to humans. At first, Alekh hesitated to join Naina and Rajveer, fearing he would be a third wheel. However, both Naina and Rajveer urged him to come along, assuring him that they would have more fun with him there. Alekh eventually agreed, and they packed a backpack with snacks and water for him and Rajveer. They set out early in the morning, and though the hike was challenging, they relished the stunning vistas and the sense of achievement when they finally reached the summit. They decided to camp there for the night and return the next day.
The next day, they made their way back through the countryside while hiking, stopping occasionally to capture some stunning pictures of the beautiful scenery and relishing a picnic lunch beside a small stream. They continued their journey until it was just before sunset when they finally arrived back home.
On their last day, Naina and Rajveer decided to spend the morning shopping for each other's clothes. They went to one of the best malls in the city and spent hours trying on different outfits until they found the perfect ones. Rajveer got Naina a stunning red saree, while Naina picked a stylish black suit for Rajveer. They both felt happy with their choices and couldn't wait to wear their new clothes.
Later that afternoon, they decided to relax in the library with their favorite books. Naina cuddled up on the sofa with a romance novel, while Rajveer sat at the desk with a mystery novel. It was the perfect end to their vacation, just enjoying each other's company and their mutual love for reading.
In summary, Naina and Rajveer had a wonderful eight-day holiday, marked with family togetherness, moments of joy and excitement, adventure, and most importantly, love and romance.
