Following Alekh's cue, Naina and Rajveer adjusted their posture, engaging in casual conversations with others in their group. With a touch of humor, Alekh exclaimed, "Romantic atmosphere everywhere! I think I've had my fill of romance for now."
Huda joined in with a chuckle, adding, "Don't worry, Alekh. You can find all the serious or gloomy news on the TV. It's a refreshing change."
"Sounds like a plan," Alekh agreed, reaching for the remote to turn on the television. The group settled in, ready to shift their focus on the TV. As soon as Alekh switched to the KKN channel, the news caught all of their attention.
"Breaking News Alert! Just a few hours ago, an undisclosed sender delivered a package to our news channel. Inside, there's a collection of evidence that's about to change our view of a very serious accusation. Captain Naveen Singh Ahluwalia, once charged with being a traitor, is now presented as innocent with the information in this package. But this is just the start. In these materials, a complex puzzle unfolds—the true person behind the anti-national group called Eagle is revealed, along with surprising video confessions from Eagle's members. These confessions not only proof Captain Naveen innocent, but also expose the group's harmful intentions against our country for many years. What's noteworthy is a disturbing trend: those in the video confessions have met violent ends, one after the other. It seems that a mysterious figure has taken on the task of dismantling Eagle and its associates, a task that the military itself struggled with. This shadowy figure has seemingly lost trust in our country's armed forces. However, we must also recognize that their loss of faith is somewhat justified, considering those who betrayed our nation included some who wore our country's uniform." Ananya stated seriously. Then the video confessions that Naina had recorded started playing. One by one Major Bhargav, Dr. Ritu, Col. Handa, Major Nair, and Col. Bajaj's confessions were shown with full details.
"The person controlling the harmful actions of the group called Eagle has been revealed as Defense Minister Lala Gehlot. This shocking discovery has surprised many in powerful positions. The evidence against Lala Gehlot is now very strong and proves that he has done things that cannot be hidden from the public anymore. Our sources have also found out that while we are reporting this news, the same evidence has been shared online, making it spread quickly. This means that even if political leaders try to hide what Lala Gehlot did, they won't succeed because the truth is now known to many people. With a shared hope that our respected leaders will stand for the truth and protect our nation from people like Lala Gehlot, this is Ananya Kashyap signing off from this news segment. Jai Hind!" Ananya finished the news segment.
"What in the world..." Gunny breathed out in disbelief. "This... this is..." he trailed off, struggling to find the right words to convey his emotions. He turned to Rajveer, expecting a certain reaction, but what he saw surprised him. Rajveer had tears streaming down his face, yet he was smiling broadly.
"Naveen... he's proven innocent. Finally, he's proven innocent," Rajveer whispered, his voice choked with emotion and happiness.
Gunny realized that Rajveer was unaware of this news before. That's why his reaction was so genuine. He turned to the other cadets and found them all with big smiles on their faces. It made sense, as they had been involved in helping Rajveer investigate Naveen's case. Gunny's gaze then fell on Naina, and he furrowed his brow. While everyone else was celebrating, Cadet Naina Campbell remained stone-faced, her eyes shimmering with tears, yet her expression resolute.
Gunny tilted his head curiously, quietly observing as Rajveer turned toward Naina and enveloped her in a tight embrace. He watched as Rajveer whispered something into her ear, causing her to blink and visibly collect herself before nodding. Stepping back from Naina, Rajveer proceeded to approach the rest of his Super Six teammates, hugging each of them in turn.
"Thank you all for your unwavering support and for having faith in Naveen's innocence," Rajveer expressed his gratitude to his fellow cadets sincerely.
"Sir, our aim was always to uncover the truth and bring the actual culprits to justice. We could never have foreseen that the one behind this would be someone as influential as the Defense Minister. It's bewildering how someone in that position could contemplate actions that harm the very country they're meant to safeguard," Ali commented, his frustration evident in his words.
Rajveer nodded, understanding the point Ali was making. He had experienced similar thoughts when he first uncovered the truth about Lala Gehlot.
"Yeah, sir. My phone doesn't seem to be able to handle downloading all this information," Pooja said, holding her head slightly. "But how did this person manage to obtain the evidence against Major Nair and the proof of Captain Naveen's innocence? We discovered that proof just a few days ago," she asked.
"I had made a few copies and shared them with a few trustworthy individuals at the headquarters. Maybe this person obtained the evidence from there," Rajveer speculated.
"That's a possibility," Alekh agreed, nodding in acknowledgment. Unbeknownst to everyone, he held the complete truth.
"Not just that, sir. They even possess video confessions from those five individuals. After that Mustache managed to escape, this Jatt thought he had gone into hiding. Who would've thought he was actually killed?" Huda remarked.
"The news mentioned that they were killed in brutal ways. Who could be responsible for their deaths? And who might this individual be that's seeking to avenge Captain Naveen? Could it possibly be one of his family members?" Yudi speculated aloud.
"Captain Rajveer, Yudi's query does hold some weight. As he was your closest friend, are you aware if Captain Naveen had any family member who could have taken such drastic measures for his vengeance?" Gunny inquired.
Rajveer sighed. "Naveen was the only child of his parents at the time of his death. And his parents died soon after he did. So, as far as I know, there was no one left of his family." he stated.
"Guys, let's not speculate about that. Our mission 'Guiding Light' achieved its first victory. Shouldn't we be celebrating?" Naina suggested, attempting to shift everyone's focus.
"Absolutely right, Phoolan! Celebration is in order!" Huda exclaimed with a triumphant fist pump. The other cadets joined in with cheers and excitement.
Gunny turned to Rajveer, his curiosity piqued. "Mission 'Guiding Light'? I wasn't aware of any such mission."
Rajveer chuckled. "It's an unofficial mission these six initiated. When they suspected Naveen might be innocent, they took it upon themselves to uncover the truth. They named this fact-finding endeavor the 'Guiding Light' mission," he explained.
"Incredible." Gunny chuckled. Now he understood Rajveer's fondness for these six.
... - ...
After everything happened, Pooja talked openly with her father about how they succeeded in proving Captain Naveen was innocent. Her father was really proud of her and her friends, so he quickly got drinks for them to celebrate. As the night went on, Super Six, Gunny, and Rajveer all got together on the hotel rooftop to enjoy their achievement. The drinks made the atmosphere feel even happier and more joyful.

"I'm so happy that we were able to prove Naveen sir innocent." Ali said, his face beaming.
"Yup, so that wraps up our Mission 'Guiding Light,'" Huda declared happily.
"Well, not exactly," Naina interjected.
"What do you mean, Naina?" Yudi asked curiously.
"Just having evidence isn't enough. Until they catch Lala Gehlot and he admits his guilt, our mission isn't completely successful," Naina clarified.
"Cadet Naina is right. Right now, they just have proof. The authorities will need to verify it first before taking any action. This situation is still hanging in the balance," Gunny explained.
"Oh, geez," Yudi sighed, the disappointment evident in his voice. The others echoed his sentiment, their expressions reflecting a mix of frustration and resignation.
Out of the blue, Rajveer's phone started ringing. He had been leaning against the back of the couch, relishing a drink after a considerable time. The celebratory atmosphere had put him in high spirits. As the ringing sound reached his ears, he reached for his phone and frowned upon seeing the caller ID displaying "Lala sir calling." Instead of answering or silencing the call, he simply stared at his phone, his reaction grabbing the attention of the rest of the group.
"Rajveer, aren't you going to answer?" Gunny inquired.
Naina, who had been seated beside Rajveer, noticed the caller ID on his phone and realized why he was hesitant to answer. She confidently took the phone from him and walked a bit away from the group. Gunny observed this, surprised, while Rajveer resumed his relaxed position, savoring his drink.
"I understand you're engaged, but that might have been an important call," Gunny remarked.
Rajveer dismissed the concern with a wave of his hand, saying, "She knows how to handle those calls."
Making sure she was at a distance from the group to keep her conversation private, Naina answered the call. "Hello?"
"Who's speaking? I dialed my godson, Captain Rajveer Singh Shikhawat," Lala's voice came sternly from the other end.
"Oh... Jai Hind, sir! I'm Naina, Rajveer's..." she faked a chuckle, "...fiancée."
"Fiancée?! I was under the impression that both of you were planning to marry after your graduation from KMA, am I right?" Lala's voice held a note of confusion.
"Yes, that was the original plan. However, my batchmate and best friends got engaged tonight. Rajveer took the opportunity and proposed to me in front of everyone. It was such a romantic gesture," Naina rambled, pretending to be unaware of the recent news segment.
"Oh, congratulations, my dear! Where is my son? I want to congratulate him as well."
"The guys began celebrating with drinks earlier. Rajveer has had a bit too much to drink, and he's having a hard time speaking clearly," Naina shared with a light chuckle.
"Oh..." Lala sounded frustrated, as he had hoped for Rajveer's help.
"Is everything alright, sir? You sound a bit... troubled. Is there any way I can help?" Naina politely offered.
"Ah, well, to be honest, dear, I find myself in a bit of a tight spot. I need to lay low for a few days," Lala explained, trying to subtly manipulate Naina into assisting him.
"Why don't you consider staying at our family farmhouse? We're currently in Punjab. How about meeting me halfway here? I can personally escort you there," Naina suggested, playing the role of a dutiful daughter-in-law.
"That sounds like a fantastic idea, my dear. You truly are the perfect match for my Godson," Lala complimented, feeling satisfied that he now had a way to evade the authorities.
"I'll meet you on MNO Road in a few hours then. Use this number to call me. I'll keep it with me," Naina informed him before ending the call. A sinister smile crept across her face – a smile that could send shivers down the devil's spine.

MNO road crossroad,
02:30 hours
About thirty minutes ago, Lala Gehlot had arrived at this location. He had dismissed his men because he wanted to keep his whereabouts secret. At the crossroads, a black BMW pulled up. Lala observed as the car door swung open and a young, pretty girl emerged from the vehicle. She wore tight black jeans, a black turtleneck shirt, a black leather jacket, and stylish black suede ankle boots with high heels.
The girl glanced around as if she was trying to find someone. Then, she suddenly looked in his direction and lifted her hand in a wave. Lala realized that she was Rajveer's fiancé, the person he had been waiting for. Stepping out from behind a tree where he had been hiding, he began to approach her. As he got nearer, he could clearly see the girl. She appeared to be in her late teens or early twenties, with an almost angelic appearance. Her skin had a radiant glow even without makeup. It was clear to him why his always-disciplined Godson had fallen in love. Almost anyone would want to date this girl if she wished it.
"Are you Naina?" he asked.
Naina smiled and folded her hands together. "Namaste, sir! I hope you didn't have to wait long for me," she greeted.
"No, dear. I arrived just half an hour ago. You must have set out for here soon after our phone call. You had to drive for hours to reach here and help me. I apologize for the inconvenience," Lala explained with a seemingly apologetic smile.
Naina responded with a smile and gestured towards the car. "Let's leave this place. We shouldn't stay here for too long," she advised.
Once they were in the car, Naina took the wheel. "We won't be going to my family's farmhouse anymore," she informed him.
"What? Why the change?" Lala was taken aback by the sudden alteration of their plans.
Naina looked at him with an innocent expression and explained, "I watched the news segment before coming here. The accusations against you are extremely serious. If you're apprehended, the consequences will be severe. Plus, now that we're connected as family, they might search all our properties to find you. That's why I've decided to hide you in one of our mills. It's an unlikely place for anyone to connect with me or my family." She gave him a charming smile as she spoke.
Lala couldn't pinpoint why, but he found himself believing in her genuine intentions. He returned the smile and said, "Thank you, dear child. And you can call me 'Uncle' if you want."
Naina's smile remained. "Would you mind if I play some songs, uncle? I'd like to stay awake. I've been up for over 30 hours, you know," she sweetly requested.
"Of course, child. That's perfectly fine," Lala was pleased that Naina was showing him trust. This could definitely help in swaying Rajveer in his favor as well.
Naina pressed a button on her car's stereo, and a song began to play. As the lyrics of the song unfolded, Lala found himself frowning. It seemed a bit unsettling in a way, but he assumed that young people these days might have a liking for unconventional music. So, he stayed quiet and listened to the song.
Now I stay right here
Watch me disappear
Sweat is running down your face like tears
Anxiety is slowly creeping in
[Listen to this song as you read.]
You will see me smile
When you close your eyes
Did I say you could already go?
Don't you think
there's something
I should know?
Lala's brow furrowed in consternation. He couldn't quite pinpoint the reason, but a sense of unease was gnawing at him from within. It was as if an inner voice was urging him to flee, to put as much distance as possible between him and the current situation. Yet, he dismissed it as a natural reaction to the exposure of his wrongdoings. The song's chorus, however, caught him off guard. It almost seemed as if the lyrics were directed at him, as if Captain Naveen himself was uttering those words in his direction.
Even if you run away and hide
Boy it's too late I know where you lie
She's not a secret no more
You should've been honest before
Wherever you are I will track you down
Haunt you at night so don't make a sound
You better start digging your hole
Revenge is a dish best served cold
Revenge is a dish
best served cold
"Naina, my dear, this song... it's a little strange, isn't it?" Lala struggled to find the words to express his curiosity about the song's uncanny relevance.
"Oh, isn't it? I find it really intriguing," Naina responded with enthusiasm, seemingly oblivious to any deeper meaning.
"Um... yes, intriguing... sure," Lala mumbled, forcing a weak smile. Deep down, he attributed his unease to the heightened circumstances he was facing. Surely, such apprehensions were natural under the circumstances, he convinced himself.
I guess I should've known
You were not alone
When you had with her all of your firsts
Too bad it was the night that you got cursed
Every step you take
Every move you make
When you're freaking out and seeing red
I'm the monster hiding down under your bed
Lala let out a sigh, his brow creasing in a perplexed expression. He averted his gaze out of the window, attempting to distract himself from the song's peculiar effect on him. Yet, despite his efforts, it continued to weave its way into his consciousness. It was as though an unsettling message was being conveyed to his very core, a caution that bypassed direct communication and tapped into his innermost being.
Even if you run away and hide
Boy it's too late I know where you lie
She's not a secret no more
You should've been honest before
Wherever you are I will track you down
Haunt you at night so don't make a sound
You better start digging your hole
Revenge is a dish best served cold
Revenge is a dish
best served cold
Wherever you are I will track you down
Haunt you at night so don't make a sound
You better start digging your hole
Revenge is a dish best served cold
Suddenly, Lala's eyes registered something. He noticed the rapidly changing landscape outside the car window, and his heart raced as he glanced at the speedometer. The needle was hovering around 200 mph, a sight that sent a shock of panic through him. Clutching the seatbelt tightly, he couldn't help but voice his alarm, "Naina, why on earth are you driving at such an insane speed?"
Naina's response came with an air of casualness, as if she were discussing the weather. "We need to reach your hiding place before sunrise. That's why I'm pushing it."
"B-But... we might crash!" he shouted, panicking.
"Don't worry, sir. I won't let it crash." Naina assured him with a beaming smile and continued driving.
Feeling that his heart couldn't take the stress of high-speed driving any longer, Lala opted to close his eyes. An hour and a half later, they finally reached their destination. Naina cast a sidelong glance at Lala and couldn't help but smirk at his slumbering figure, a result of his tense car nap.
In a composed tone, Naina called out, "Lala sir? Lala sir? Wake up, please. We've arrived."
Lala stirred awake, his senses groggy as he looked around in a disoriented manner before stepping out of the car. Naina led him inside, and it was only then that he fully registered their location. The scene before him was that of an abandoned mill, triggering his curiosity. Puzzled, he asked, "What exactly is this place?"
Naina's response was accompanied by a polite smile, "It's an abandoned mill that my family uses for stuff we don't want people to connect us with."
He understood and agreed, thinking that they would naturally have a secret place like this. He felt a bit pleased with his thoughts. "It makes sense, considering she comes from a rich family. Wealth often comes from both legal and illegal activities," he thought to himself with a satisfied feeling.
When they reached the innermost part of the mill, Naina approached a side wall and pressed a button. Lala was taken aback by the sudden sound of something closing with a heavy thud, the noise resonating through the vacant mill.
"What was that?" he asked, his curiosity piqued.
Naina replied casually without facing him, "Just securing the place. We wouldn't want anyone stumbling upon you, would we?" However, her expression had subtly shifted, a hint of something different playing across her features.
"Of course, dear. That's very thoughtful of you. Rajveer is lucky to have you," Lala complimented Naina.
Naina responded with a brief "Thanks" before fetching a chair from another room. "Here, have a seat. You must be tired," she offered kindly to Lala.
Lala smiled at her and took a seat. Unexpectedly, the lights in the area dimmed, and five distinct white screens descended, encircling him. Perplexed, he glanced around, searching for answers. Before he could voice his confusion to Naina, the screens sprung to life, each displaying a different video. Major Bhargav, Dr. Ritu, Col. Handa, Col. Bajaj, and Major Nair all appeared in separate videos, confessing to their actions. The authenticity of the videos struck Lala intensely, as he recognized the voice behind the scenes, a voice he was now familiar with.
Turning around swiftly, Lala's eyes met Naina's figure, nonchalantly leaning against the wall behind him. Her gaze was locked onto the screens displaying the confession videos. Lala started recalling those threating cards that were left with Major Bhargav, Dr. Ritu, Col. Handa, Col. Bajaj, and Major Nair's bodies.
The first card had said:
"The punishment for what he did.
Eagle and his men should be aware that I'm coming for you.
You're next."
The second card had said:
"Roses are red, Violets are blue.
Eagle, you should know,
I'm coming for you."
The third card had said:
"In shadows I lurk, unseen by sight,
A whispered breeze, a shiver of fright.
With every step, the echo of dread,
Beware of my arrival, Eagle
For I'm coming ahead."
And then he recalled the lyrics of the song playing on their drive here. Some of the lines in the lyrics was-
"Wherever you are I will track you down
Haunt you at night so don't make a sound
You better start digging your hole
Revenge is a dish best served cold"
"W-Who are you?" he asked in a trembling voice. A shiver was going down his back. He realized that the person who could kill his men so brutally would not spare him now that he was in her grip.
As Naina released her illusionary façade, Lala was confronted with her real appearance, including her vivid blood-red eyes. Startled, he jumped up from his chair and began to move backward as Naina advanced toward him.
"I possess many identities. Which one would you like to get acquainted with?" she inquired, her face adorned with a subtle smile. Despite the angelic appearance of her smile, an unmistakable malevolence emanated from her presence.
"Why don't you start with the identity he so conveniently entangled himself with?" suggested a familiar voice from the other side of the spacious room.
Lala turned around and spotted Rajveer standing there with a stern expression on his face. His arms were crossed over his chest. While there were four others accompanying Rajveer, Lala's attention was solely fixated on him. "Rajveer! Son, I think she... " Lala was interrupted by Rajveer.
"Naina, you didn't introduce yourself to him properly." Rajveer told his mate, completely ignoring his Godfather.
"Hello, Lala Gehlot. I'm Naina... Naina Singh Ahluwalia. Captain Naveen Singh Ahluwalia's biological younger sister," Naina introduced herself with a smirk.
It took him a few seconds to recall who Naveen was, but when he recognized the name, Lala gasped and gave Naina a wide-eyed look.
Rajveer walked further into the room and asked sarcastically, "Why are you getting to shocked, Mr. Gehlot? Are you familiar with the scheme of keeping an eye on the relatives of your victims? Didn't you do the same with me after killing my whole family?"
"Ra-Rajveer... beta, you're mistaken. This girl is lying. She provoked you against me. I did nothing like that! I didn't kill your family. Did you forget? It was me who raised you after your father's enemies killed your family? How can you trust a random girl instead of me?" Lala protested.
"Excuse me? How am I supposed to know who killed Rajveer's family? I wasn't even born at the time." Naina grumbled. "It was him who confessed." Naina pointed towards the screens where Col. Handa was telling Naina how Lala had killed Rajveer's parents.
~~** Trigger warning. Will describe blood, gore, and torture.**~~
Lala turned around and looked at the screen where Col. Handa was sharing how Lala conspired to have Rajveer's parents killed because his father found evidence of Lala's evil intensions for their Country. "H-He's lying!" Lala protested.
"Dead people don't lie." Rajveer retorted.
"Guys, I don't think he will confess this easily." Thomas stated casually, "Kiddo, why don't you try that torture method you were asking about the other day? I have arranged everything already." he added with a gleeful smile.
"I would've done that one way or another, Tommy. But which crime of his should we get him to confess first? His hand in Rajveer's family's death? Naveen Bhai's death? Or for conspiring against our country?" Naina asked her brother while glaring at Lala.
"Let's start with his first crime. Rajveer's family's death." William suggested glaring at Lala with disgust.
Naina smiled and before Lala to understand anything, with the speed of light, she ran towards him. Grabbing him, she vanished into another room.
A few moment later, Rajveer heard Lala protesting from another room. Rajveer gave a confused look in that direction, not understanding what was happening. He opened his mouth to inquire but suddenly, he heard a strange sound before Lala's painful cry. Seconds later, his question was answered. Naina came out of that room, pushing a large wooden wheel. She had tied Lala on the wheel and as each time the wheel finished a round to move forward, Lala would get crushed under the wooden wheel.

Rajveer blinked, not know how he was supposed to react to this scene. Then, an old memory resurfaced. His mind had buried this memory deep within to shield him from the trauma. It was a night etched in his past, one he had suppressed. That night when his family was brutally murdered, it was Rajveer himself who had stumbled upon their lifeless bodies. The police and neighbors were already present; the scene was chaotic. Young Rajveer, unaware of the tragedy that had unfolded, had skipped his way home. Viewing his house, he had nonchalantly entered through the side door he'd used earlier to leave. The little boy was confused seeing the red paint all over the floor of his house. he couldn't understand why there were so many red paint spilled on the floor and why his relatives were lying on it. He pouted thinking that they were playing with color without him.
He approached his mother's motionless form, lying on her back. Rajveer vividly recalled how he had complained to her, voicing his displeasure at not being included in their activities. He had even patted her face, seeking her attention. But there was no response. It was in this state that the police had found him, sitting beside his mother's lifeless body. Rajveer blinked as the scene of that night became clear to his inner eyes. He could remember their bloody state. It was time to revenge his family.
"I want to do it." He demanded, stepping closer to his mate.
Naina nodded and took a step back. Rajveer stepped closer to the wheel and told Lala, "My father was an honest officer... a protector of this country. You killed not only him but his whole family. Arrey, you didn't even care if his small child had also died that day. I feel disgusted that I ever looked up to you." Angry tears rolled down his face.
Saying so, he pushed the wheel and it started rolled to another side of the room, while crushing Lala underneath in repeatedly. Some of his bones also broke making crunching noises.
Naina walked up the the wheel and gave it another pushed, back towards Rajveer, "my brother loved this country like he loved our mother. You not only played with his emotions, but also with his career. You not only forced himself to die but also tortured him for a long time. Now it's your turn." she spat out angrily.
"The people of this country trusted you to protect it. They made you the Defense minister so that you could defend our country against enemies. But what did you do?! You turned into an enemy yourself! How did you even look yourself in the mirror and not feel disgusted at yourself?!" Rajveer growled angrily before pushing the wheel towards Naina.
"Naveen bhai is the only case we know about. Only God knows how many other honest officers died because of you." Naina stated before giving the wheel another push.
Rajveer would've continued but he was stopped by Thomas. "Enough, guys. We don't want him to die so soon and escape easily." Thomas reminded them.
Seeing Tom's determination, both Rajveer and Naina nodded in agreement. Rajveer, his voice laced with bitterness and tears brimming with disgust, added, "You're absolutely right, Tom. He doesn't deserve an easy way out."
Observing Rajveer's emotional state, Natasha stepped forward and enveloped him in a comforting hug. Rajveer's emotions overflowed, and he began to cry while Natasha consoled him with gentle pats and comforting words, like a mother comforting her child. William and Naina exchanged fond smiles before moving towards the wheel to release Lala from his restraints.

Jeremy passed a set of cleaning supplies to Thomas with a smile, indicating that he should start cleaning up the mess caused by Lala's blood. Thomas responded with an irritated look but got to work, quietly chuckling to himself at his mate's naughtiness. Meanwhile, Jeremy walked over to Naina and William, lending a hand in the process of moving Lala to a different location.

Middle of a random forest
250 miles away from Panjab
0400 hours
Every member of the Campbell family was present that morning. Earlier, Tom had traveled to Panjab to fetch a sleeping Alekh from his bed, leaving a note behind for his friends, stating that Alekh had gone to meet some old friends. Naina had also sent messages to her friends, informing them that she and Rajveer had gone out to spend the day together. Alekh had initially grumbled about being abruptly taken to the jungle, but when he learned about the plan, he was delighted to be a part of it.
So, at the moment all the members were looking at the highest tree of that forest with various expressions on their faces. Tom, Jerry, and Will had satisfied looks on their faces while Natasha her eyes narrowed. Rajveer had tears in his eyes but there was also satisfaction at getting Naveen and his parents avenged. Naina stared up with a look on concentration as if she was storing each detail of this scene in her memory so that she never forgets this moment. Alekh, on the other hand, looked confused and impressed at the same time.
They were all staring at Lala, who was now put inside a gibbet cage and hanging from the highest tree. Naina has shoved Lala into a iron gibbet cage and had Tom and jerry hung him up there.
[Lala is hung from the tree is like this]
[Lala is hung from the tree is like this]
[The Gibbet cage]
[The Gibbet cage]
"That's an interesting concept. Though how did you come up with it?" Alekh asked his sister.
"This isn't a new concept, Alekh. This is an old torture method called 'Gibbeting'. In the past, this method of torture or punishment was used to deter other existing or potential criminals. Occasionally, the gibbet was also used as a method of execution, with the criminal being left to die of exposure, thirst and/or starvation. In some cases, the bodies would be left until their clothes rotted or even until the bodies were almost completely decomposed, after which the bones would be scattered." Thomas started explaining. "For example, in March 1743 a man named Allen Grebell was murdered by John Breads. Breads was imprisoned in the Ypres Tower and then hanged, after which his body was left to rot for more than 20 years in an iron gibbet cage. The cage, with Breads's clamped within the headframe, is still kept in the town hall." he added with a shrug.
Alekh and Rajveer had nodded their heads. "So, how long do you plan on hanging him there?" Alekh asked pointing towards Lala.
"25 years foo Rajveer's parents and 6 years for Naveen's." Natasha replied, surprising everyone. She was the mother of their clan, the soft hearted one. Hearing her state something like this was surprising for all of them.
~~** End of blood, gore, and torture.**~~
William smiled as he watched his wife in protective mama bear mode. Lala had harmed her children, and there was no way she would let him get away easily. He approached his wife, wrapping his arm around her shoulder and reassuring her, "You're absolutely right, my love. No one gets away with harming our children."
Rajveer and Alekh exchanged a smile before joining Natasha for a tight hug. Naina was soon joined by Tom and Jerry. As She leaned against her brothers, Naina folded her arms across her chest and playfully quipped, "Don't you guys think Mom forgot about the three of us after Rajveer and Alekh's arrival?"
"Indeed," Tom and Jerry chimed in, feigning jealousy as Natasha planted kisses on Rajveer and Alekh's foreheads.
Everyone thoroughly ignored the yells and pleads for help from Lala coming from the tree top.
