The morning after Hanna wakes up and Caleb is no longer in bed. She checks the time on her phone and finds out it's ten in the morning so there are no doubts he must be at the Radley.
Hanna gets up and finds the clothes she dropped on the floor the night before, they are properly folded at the end of the bed and she can't help smiling. She gets dressed and goes downstairs where she finds Chocolate napping on the couch.
Hanna "Hey, buddy" she calls for him, but the dog is too comfy to move so he only stares at her from the couch. "I know what will get you up" she says and goes get his dog bowl to the kitchen.
But she finds a little note on it: "Don't let him fool you. He already ate." Hanna grins and puts the bowl back away.
Hanna "Okay, Chocolate. Let's get going" she grabs her keys and the dog meets her at the front door.
When Hanna goes out the house, she sees Toby's pickup truck still parked at Spencer's and she can't help a happy smile.
/
Later at noon.
Hanna arrives at the Radley Hotel and goes straight to Caleb's office. She just lets herself in as always but she doesn't find him in there so she decides to wait for him and goes sit at his desk.
Hanna is on her phone when Caleb shows up there some minutes later.
Caleb "Hi, beautiful" he greets her with a grin on his face. "You made some time to see me, huh?" he jokes.
Hanna only smiles at him and stands up from his office chair to approach him, leaving her phone on his desk.
Caleb "I just talked to your mom" he starts telling her as Hanna wraps her arms around his neck. "She was happy for me. She didn't even care so much that I'm leaving the Radley" he places his palms on Hanna's waist.
Hanna "Yeah, she's the best" she only gives him a short response because all she wants is to kiss him already, and so she does.
Caleb kisses her back while wrapping his arms around her waist and squeezes her against him. He needed all that physical contact as much as her. He abandons her mouth after a while to start kissing her neck.
Hanna keeps her eyes shut and relaxes at the sweet touch of his lips on her skin. But when Caleb's hand goes down to her butt, she opens her eyes and straightens her head, making Caleb pull away from her neck.
Hanna "Wait… Are we really doing it here?"
Caleb smiles amused. "Yeah, why not?" he goes back to her neck.
Hanna "Because my mom works here, maybe? And because you still have to show up here for some more weeks, and so do I?"
Caleb "We will keep it quiet" he lets go of her and goes lock the door. "I just need you so bad" he confesses while grabbing her by the waist again. But he doesn't make any other move, he only stares at her like waiting for her approval.
Hanna doubts for a second, but then she grabs his face in her hands and starts a passionate kiss herself. "Really quiet" she says against his mouth.
Caleb "I promise" he takes her hand and leads her to a little couch on one side of the room.
Caleb sits down and Hanna stands before him. Luckily for her, she chose to wear a dress that morning since it is one of those days at the beginning of the fall that are still warm somehow. Caleb gets his hands under her dress and takes them straight to each side of her panties to pull them down, Hanna lifts her feet one at a time to help him take off her underwear keeping her shoes on. Once Caleb leaves her panties on the couch next to him, Hanna sits on his lap straddling him and starts undoing his pants.
Caleb takes her hair to the side to clear her neck and starts to lick and kiss her there while feeling her hands on him already. She manages to get his length out of his boxers through the opening on their front and holding him in one of her hands, she starts rubbing its head gently against herself, brushing it over right where she needs it, pleasuring both of them at the same time.
Caleb's breathing is a mess already when he goes back to kissing her on the mouth. Hanna finally leads him inside of her and takes her hands to his shoulders to get some steadiness as she starts to move. She smiles at the tender soft noise that escapes from Caleb's lips, he is doing his best to keep it quiet as he promised her. She knows it was supposed to be a quickie, but doing it in a sitting position makes it easier for them to keep kissing while having sex, so Hanna keeps her movements in a low pace and allows herself to enjoy his mouth too. Caleb also takes advantage of the slow pace to take his hand between her legs and rub his thumb against the exact little spot where he knows she needs him.
A little moan slips from Hanna's mouth into the kiss.
Caleb "Having trouble keeping it quiet, huh?" he teases her.
But Hanna is just too focused on the pleasure he is making her feel to say something back.
And it finally ends up being a quickie, because Hanna only lasts a couple of minutes before she reaches her orgasm. And even thought she knows he isn't finished yet, she allows herself to stop moving for a moment and rest her forehead against his shoulder.
Caleb runs his hands up and down her back gently, allowing her a moment too.
A couple of minutes later she stands up and offers her hand to Caleb. He knows she is up to something so he takes her hand and follows her. She walks toward his desk and after moving a couple of things aside she leans a little over it, using her hands to keep herself steady.
Caleb "Fuck, Han…" he only says and hugs her from behind her back.
Hanna "Enjoy yourself, baby"
This whole sex-in-the-office thing just turned out hotter than it already was.
Caleb gets back inside of her in just one movement and this new angle just feels as good as moments ago. He places some kisses on her shoulder and finally starts with his thrusting. He can't help lifting Hanna's dress a little up for a better view and even though he can't see the exact spot where their bodies are connected, Hanna's ass alone is a very hot view to him.
He doesn't take too long to finish either, the whole situation is mind blowing enough to take him to his edge in a few minutes.
Hanna learns that he is done because he just stops moving and rests his forehead on her back. He really kept his promise of keeping it quiet.
Hanna "What a lunch break" she says amused.
Caleb laughs and straightens up sliding out of her. As soon as Hanna turns to him, she is grabbed by his arms and pulled into a hug.
Hanna "Do you still have time to have an actual lunch with me now?" she asks while hugging him back.
Caleb looks for her mouth and gives her a soft kiss. "Sure, baby"
Hanna "Okay… I'll be right back" she goes grab her panties from the couch and leaves for the restrooms.
They have lunch right there at the Radley because Caleb has to go back to work and Hanna is meeting up with Spencer right after lunch.
Caleb is now walking Hanna to her car.
Hanna "What are you doing after work?"
Caleb shrugs. "You tell me"
Hanna shoots him a smile. "You are coming over to my place because I want to show you something"
Caleb smiles naughtily but doesn't say anything.
Hanna rolls her eyes. "Men" she just says as they reach her car.
Caleb opens the door for her. "I'll be there right after work"
Hanna "Perfect" she kisses his lips before getting in the car.
/
Spencer "So we need to calculate the cost of each dress" she says while typing on her computer.
They are sitting at the kitchen island at Hanna's.
Hanna "And how the hell do we do that? I mean… each dress is different, the materials, the complexity of making them…"
Spencer "It's an estimate… let's start by how much time it takes you to make a dress"
Hanna "Well, it depends… It only took me two days to finish the dress I just made, but I was so caught in it that I barely took little breaks to eat something or take care of Chocolate… and it was a simple design…"
Spencer "So let's say like four days?"
Hanna remains silent while thinking.
Spencer "Five days?"
Hanna "Should I count the time it took me to make the design too? Or only making the dress?"
Spencer "It depends, are you planning on making exclusive designs?"
Hanna "Yeah, it would be just me and my sewing machine so it's not like I'm making three different sizes of the same dress… plus I like the idea of my dresses being unique"
Spencer "So yes, you have to consider the design time too"
Hanna "Okay… five to six days then… but I could work in two dresses at the same time and make it seven or eight days for two dresses"
Spencer "Okay" she keeps typing on her computer. "Let's continue with the cost of materials. How much it would cost you the materials for one dress? The fabric, zippers, buttons, sequins, whatever you would need"
Hanna "I've no idea, Spence" she stands up from her seat and goes take a look into the fridge. "Let's take a break. Wanna something to drink?"
Spencer "Han… come on, focus. We just started"
Hanna "But you are asking me very hard questions and I have no patience" she says and shuts the fridge closed.
Spencer "Han, this is basic. How are we supposed to come up with a good business plan without considering the average price of a dress?"
Hanna "Okay, two hundred bucks"
Spencer frowns at her. "Are you just making it up, Hanna?"
Hanna sighs. "I've no idea, Spencer"
Spencer "Well, this is not like one of those projects that we used to work on in high school. This is real, Hanna" she stands up from her seat and closes her laptop. "Let me know when you are ready to take it seriously"
Hanna follows her to the front door. "Please, don't leave. I'll try, okay?" she stands between Spencer and the door. "Please, please, I'll try to focus… this is just more frustrating that I thought but I know you are only here to help me and I'm really thankful to you"
Spencer sighs. "Okay… just go get your sketchbook. I think I have an idea"
Hanna smiles at her. "You are the best" she kisses Spencer's cheek and rushes to go get her sketchbook.
Spencer finally gets Hanna to focus, they pick up three random designs in her sketchbook, Spencer makes Hanna write down the items she would need for each of those designs and then they look up some prices online and they calculate a final average. Then they keep working on some other items they need to take in consideration for the business plan.
Hanna "Don't get mad at me, Spence… but I really, really, really need to take a break now" she stretches her arms.
Spencer laughs. "Yeah, I need to take a break too"
They've been working for like three hours, time just flew for them.
Hanna "So Toby spent the night at your place… I saw his truck still parked outside this morning" she says while taking some orange juice from the fridge.
Spencer smiles. "Yeah… nothing happened anyway. We weren't even close to kiss. But it was nice. We talked a lot... not about our relationship. Just random things. We just hanged out"
Hanna "That's awesome, Spence" she pours a couple of glasses and hands one to Spencer. "Are you seeing him again today?"
Spencer "I told him I would stop by to see him at his dad's. He still needs to rest, he just had surgery. He shouldn't have come to my place last night in the first place. But I'm glad he did"
The doorbell rings so Hanna goes answer it.
Hanna "Hi, baby" she crashes her lips to Caleb's before even letting him in.
Caleb "Hi, beautiful" he greets her back into the kiss.
Hanna "Come on in… I'm with Spence at the kitchen"
Spencer "Caleb! How are you doing?"
Caleb "Hi, Spence. I'm pretty good. I just had a very interesting day at the office today" he answers her back while shooting Hanna an amused smile. "What about you?"
Hanna rolls her eyes at him but can't help biting her bottom lip and smile.
Spencer "I'm good too" she doesn't even notice them because she is getting her laptop in her purse. "Well guys, I have to go now… see you around, Caleb"
Caleb "See you!"
Hanna walks Spencer to the front door.
Spencer "Come by my place tomorrow and we will finish this, okay?"
Hanna nods. "Thank you so much, Spencer. Really… thanks for your time and your patience"
Spencer chuckles. "Anytime"
Hanna "Say hi to Toby for me, okay?"
Spencer "Okay, I will. See you, Han"
Hanna "See you"
She goes back to the kitchen and catches Caleb taking a look at her sketchbook.
Caleb "So… this is what has been keeping you so busy?" he looks up at her.
Hanna "Uh huh" she takes her phone from the kitchen countertop and approaches him. "I actually made a dress" she goes through her phone and opens a picture of the dress. "Here" she hands him her phone.
Caleb smiles at seeing the picture. He can see that it is a nice dress, but he doesn't know the first thing about dresses or fashion or whatever, he is just happy for Hanna. "This is great, Han!" he hands her phone back.
Hanna "Well, that's what I wanted to show you. I set my sewing machine down in the basement and made that dress in just two days… I gave it to my mom because she loved it. She even offered me some money to start doing it for a living and I wasn't going to take it, but Spencer and I are working on a business plan to figure some things out and I think I might do it"
Caleb "You should definitely do it, Han"
Hanna "I know… it just scares the shit out of me" she confesses. "I keep thinking what if I ruin it"
Caleb "Why? This is your passion and you are so good at it, Han"
Hanna "That's why. This is the only thing I know I'm good at, the only thing I actually enjoy doing. I couldn't picture myself doing anything else… if I drop the ball with this, then I'll have nothing else"
Caleb shoots her a tender smile. "I don't think you could fail, but even if you did, you would still have your talent to start over and take another chance. Stop overthinking and just take this chance, baby" he rests his palms on each side of her waist and places a tender kiss on her forehead. "And you know? If it doesn't work out you can always come work with me at my new business, I'll need a secretary anyway and our lunch breaks would be always like the one we had today" he jokes.
Hanna laughs out load. "You are such an idiot" she cups his cheeks and pecks his lips. "And you are getting a male secretary by the way, because I'll be too busy making my dresses to keep an eye on you"
It's Caleb the one who laughs now. "Fair enough"
Hanna lets go of him and goes grab her phone. "Are you staying for dinner? My mom must be about to arrive, we could order something"
Caleb "I can't, Han. I made plans. I only stopped by for a little while because you asked me to"
Hanna "Oh… okay" she says while typing on her phone. "Who did you make plans with?" she is intrigued because Caleb doesn't know too many people in Rosewood yet.
Caleb "Some people from work. One of the guys from the reception is leaving for some hotel in Hawaii and so they are going out for drinks because today was his last day"
Hanna doesn't answer, she is still on her phone.
Caleb "They just invited me to join them when I was leaving the Radley… I didn't have plans today when you asked me. But I can just not go"
Hanna finally looks up at him. "What? No!" she leaves her phone back on the kitchen countertop. "I was just texting Aria, sorry" she smiles at him. "Go have fun. We can hang out tomorrow"
Caleb "I'm actually hanging out with Toby tomorrow after work… but we can definitely do dinner if that's okay with you"
Hanna "Of course, baby. I'm just so happy you and Toby are speaking again"
Caleb "Yeah… where's Chocolate by the way? He didn't come say hi"
Hanna "Oh, he is out… I got him a dog walker"
Caleb "Why?"
Hanna "Because you've been busy and I still don't feel ready to go back to walking him on my own… I just thought it wasn't fair to him not to have his daily walks anymore"
Caleb nods. "Okay… I'll get going now"
Hanna hugs him wrapping her arms around his waist. "I'm not letting you go just yet" she places a kiss on his jawline and another one on his chin. "I need some more kisses… and you still have to promise me you'll stay away from those girls from the Radley bar, because I trust you, but I don't trust them"
Caleb chuckles. "They are not coming, Han. They have to work at the bar" he holds her head between his hands and pecks her lips. "And even if they did, you still would have nothing to worry about. I'm so in love with you that I only have eyes for you"
Hanna smiles widely. "I know, I just said I trust you… but I loved what you just said so now I'll take longer to let you go" she starts a kiss, a very deep one.
She keeps Caleb so entertained that he ends up staying longer than he thought as they make out against the kitchen island. And they only break apart when Chocolate jumps on them.
Caleb "Buddy" he greets him while petting his back.
Hanna "Hi, baby… how did you come inside?"
Ashley "I let him in… I just met his walker at the door" she says while entering the kitchen.
Hanna "Oh, hi mom!"
Ashley "Are you staying for dinner, Caleb?"
Hanna "He has plans. It's just you and me, mom" she answers for him.
Caleb "I'll get going now"
Hanna nods and walks him to the door.
Caleb "See you tomorrow then"
Hanna gives him a smile before kissing him again. A brief tender kiss this time. "See you, baby. Have fun"
/
Ashley "So, have you thought about starting making your dresses?" she makes some conversation as they start having dinner at the kitchen table.
Hanna "Yes mom. I've actually been working on that business plan you suggested. Spencer is helping me. We haven't finished yet so I haven't made my decision…"
Ashley "I'm glad you are considering it" she only says and changes the subject. "I ran into your father today… you didn't tell him about your breakup with Jordan? He asked me about you and then about him"
Hanna "I only saw him once after the breakup and I didn't feel like telling him" she shrugs and has a bite nonchalantly.
Ashely "Well, I had to tell him myself"
Hanna "That's okay"
Ashley "Aren't you going to introduce Caleb to him?"
Hanna "I see no point. They'll meet when they meet"
Ashley doesn't keep insisting because she knows more than anyone how much Tom neglected his relationship with Hanna and how distant they are now that she has become an adult.
Ashley "How's Toby doing? Is he getting better?" she changes the subject again.

Next day. Evening.
Hanna is at Spencer's. They are finishing working on the business plan for Hanna's project. It's been almost two hours since they started working. Hanna is lying on the couch and Spencer is sitting in a chair with her laptop on her lap.
Spencer "Okay… I think we've got the final number"
Hanna "We are done?" she sits up. "Really?" she is exhausted.
Spencer "Yep…"
Hanna "So… how much money?"
Spencer stands up from her chair and goes sit next to Hanna on the couch. She shows the screen of her laptop to her.
Hanna "Oh, Spence… this is way too much" she is clearly disappointed. "I can't ask this much money to my mom"
Spencer "Well, it's your call Han. But we really did a good job here, I know it's a big number but it's low risk. We took everything in consideration and no surprises should come up"
Hanna "Yeah… and what happens if I sell no dresses at all?"
Spencer "Don't be silly. It won't happen. There's not a single place in Rosewood to get a decent dress and yours are amazing" she smiles at Hanna. "Just think of it, okay? Take some time"
Hanna nods and checks the time on her phone. "Well, I should get going. I'm having dinner at Caleb's"
Spencer "Okay, give me just one minute. I'll print this file for you" she stands up from the couch. "Maybe you can ask Caleb to take a look at it and give you an opinion" she knows Caleb might convince her.
Hanna "Yeah, thanks" she stands up as well and follows Spencer to her office.
/
Caleb "Hey, Han!" he greets his girlfriend after opening the door.
Hanna "Hey" she only says while stepping inside.
Caleb "You didn't bring Chocolate"
Hanna "No, he's with my mom. I was at Spencer's"
Caleb "Yeah, I saw your car… So? How did it go?" he asks as they enter the living room.
Hanna "Well… we finished calculating it all and we got to the final number" she flops down on the couch.
Caleb goes, lifts her legs a little up, sits down on the couch and places her legs back down onto his lap. "So?" he asks again.
Hanna hands him the papers Spencer just printed for her. "It's just too much money"
Caleb takes several minutes while examining it all carefully and then he speaks again. "Well, it is a number, Han… but this is such a great work, it's very detailed and doesn't leave much room for unforeseen expenses"
Hanna "Yeah, but I won't ask my mom that much money"
Caleb "Well, I could help too"
Hanna "No, we've already discussed it. I won't take your money. Besides, you are starting your own business too. That is not an option so don't suggest it again, I mean it" she gives him a serious look.
Caleb doesn't reply and takes another look at the papers. "Well… there's another option I think could help reduce the budget significantly"
Hanna sits up and wraps her arms around his neck, holding him from the side. "And what would it be?"
Caleb "You could start selling your dresses online and save all the costs of opening a store. I could help you create a web site and it would be only for some time until you recover some of the money invested"
Hanna smiles widely. "You are such a genius" she smooches his cheek. "So? How much money would it be?"
Caleb grabs his phone to do the math. It doesn't take him too long because Spencer's budget is so well organized in items that it makes it very simple. Caleb shows his phone to Hanna.
Hanna smiles again. "This number makes much more sense… you really think this could work?"
Caleb "Of course, Han. I believe in you and your talent and again, this is a great business plan"
His reassuring words are the last push Hanna needed to make her decision.
Hanna places her hand on his cheek and pulls him to her mouth to kiss him. "I'll do it"
Caleb smiles briefly against her half opened lips and kisses her back.
/
Hanna "How did it go with Toby?" she is hugging Caleb from behind his back as he chops some vegetables.
Caleb "It was okay… a little awkward at first but he apologized for the things that he said to me and we just moved on"
Hanna "Did you tell him that you only made up all those things not to hurt your grandpa? To protect him somehow?"
Caleb "Kind of…"
Hanna "Kind of what? Did you tell him or not? Because I think he would understand you better if-"
Caleb "Han" he cuts her off. "I don't like the drama… we did talk, I just didn't go into much detail. The things I've told you… they are just too personal. I don't think I could talk about it with someone else just like that"
Hanna slides one of her hands underneath his t-shirt and starts to scratch her nails softly on his stomach. "Okay… I just love you and don't want anyone to judge you without knowing everything you went through when you were only a little boy"
Caleb "It's fine, Han… Toby didn't mean all those things he said. He told me he was having a hard time with Spencer and even though he did get pissed off at me, he said he also took his anger out on me. Anyway, we moved on. We are going to visit my grandpa's grave any of these days"
Hanna "I'm so glad to hear that, baby" she kisses his shoulder and releases him.
Caleb "Hey… don't leave"
Hanna "Clingy Hanna just needs some water" she says while grabbing a glass from one of the kitchen cabinets. "But I'll be back all over you in just a sec"
Caleb only smiles.
/
Later.
They are lying in bed facing each other, the sheets wrapped around their naked bodies, relaxing after sex. Hanna is running her hand up and down on his arm caressing him softly.
Hanna "You give me so much peace" he tells him while staring into his eyes.
Caleb chuckles. "I'm not sure that's the compliment I'd like to receive right after sex, but thanks"
Hanna laughs. "You know what I mean"
Caleb nods still smiling and takes her hand to his mouth to place a tender kiss on it.
Hanna "You don't mind that I haven't introduced you to my dad yet, do you?" she asks completely out of the blue.
Caleb "Honestly, I haven't even thought about it. But I know you aren't close to your dad so I guess it doesn't matter"
Hanna "Yeah… I just wanted to make sure you know it has nothing to do with you" she reaches out and caresses his hair. "Do you have any baby pictures of you?" she asks another out-of-the-blue question.
Caleb "A few… why?"
Hanna "I'd like to see them… I wanna know more about you" she smiles and gets closer to him, taking his face in her hands she kisses his lips softly.
Caleb wraps his arms around her lower back. "I'll show them to you tomorrow" he reaches behind his back and blindly turns the bedside lamp off.
Hanna reconnects their mouths again and they keep kissing in the dark. She can't help lowering her hand and running it down his torso up to his abs where she rests her palm and scratches him gently with her nails. Caleb raises his hand and resting his palm on the side of her breast, he starts to caress her too, rubbing his thumb against it.
And just like that, caress by caress, there they go again.
