Welcome, readers, to the second chapter of Emblems and Heroes!

This is mostly an exposition chapter and an info dump, where Kiran Pathfinder explains to the people of Elyos who he is, what his role as the Summoner entails, and the world that he came from.

Fire Emblem belongs to Intelligent Systems. I only write this crossover for the fun, entertainment, and enjoyment of it.

Now, let us begin this chapter...

Emblems And Heroes

A Fire Emblem Heroes x Fire Emblem Engage Crossover

Chapter 2: Meeting with Queen Lumera

"I am Kiran, the Summoner of the World of Zenith in service for the Kingdom of Askr, and the Marth that you have seen me summoned earlier is not an Emblem, but a Hero."

As Kiran spoke those words, he gazed upon Alear, her 3 Stewards, and Emblem Marth. All of them had a look of curiosity in their eyes. And then, Alear stepped forward with her eyes shining in intrigue and curiosity.

"If I may ask," Alear spoke up. "What is a Hero?"

As Kiran stood before Alear and her three stewards, he took a moment to gather his thoughts. How could he explain the concept of a Hero in a way that would resonate with them? He knew that their understanding of the world was limited to Elyos, and the idea of individuals from different realms answering a Summoner's call might be difficult to grasp.

"Alear," Kiran began, his voice measured, "A Hero is not just an ordinary person. They are individuals from various worlds who possess extraordinary abilities and strengths. When I summon a Hero, it means that I have called upon them to aid us in our battles against enemies that threaten the World of Zenith."

Alear's eyes widened with curiosity. "So, these Heroes willingly come to your aid? How does that work?"

Kiran nodded, appreciating Alear's desire to understand. "Yes, they willingly answer the Summoner's call. When I summon a Hero, we form a contract. This contract binds them to me, and in return, I provide them with guidance, support, and the opportunity to fulfill their destinies in this world."

Alear furrowed her brow, still trying to process the information. "But why would these Heroes answer your call? What is in it for them?"

Kiran smiled, recognizing the importance of addressing Alear's concerns. "Each Hero has their reasons, Alear. Some seek adventure, some desire to protect their worlds, and some are driven by a sense of duty. By answering my call, they find purpose and a chance to make a difference."

Before Alear could ask further questions, both Emblem Marth and Kiran's Marth, who stood nearby, suddenly interrupted. Their gazes turned towards the horizon, where dark entities were rapidly approaching.

"Everyone," Emblem Marth spoke urgently, "We must prepare for battle. More enemies draw near."

Kiran's eyes widened, a sense of urgency taking hold. "Alear, gather your Stewards. We must ready ourselves for what's coming."

As they hurriedly assembled their defenses, a sudden burst of energy filled the air. A white dragon soared above them, its majestic form radiating power. With a mighty roar, it unleashed a stream of energy, obliterating the dark entities in its path.

Alear, her three stewards, Emblem Marth, Kiran, and his Marth stood in awe as the white dragon unleashed its devastating power, obliterating the dark entities that had threatened to assail them. They watched in amazement as the dragon gracefully landed on the ground, its massive form shrinking into that of a regal-looking woman. A flash of light enveloped her, revealing her true form.

As the regal-looking woman turned her gaze towards the group, their hearts raced with anticipation. She took deliberate steps towards Alear, her eyes filled with a mix of curiosity and concern. With a hint of hesitation, she asked, "Alear, is it you?"

Alear's voice trembled slightly, but she managed to find her words. "Yes, it's me," she replied, her voice filled with gratitude. "Thank you for saving us."

Overwhelmed by the enormity of the moment, Alear's emotions threatened to spill over. But before she could fully process what had transpired, the regal woman embraced her in a warm hug. Alear's body relaxed into the comforting embrace, feeling a wave of reassurance wash over her.

The regal woman pulled back slightly, her eyes filled with concern. "Are you okay, Alear?" she asked, her voice gentle yet commanding.

Alear nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. "I am now, thanks to you. Who... who are you?" she managed to ask, her voice laced with curiosity.

The woman straightened herself, her regal aura emanating once more. "I am Lumera, the Divine Dragon Monarch," she announced, her voice carrying a weight of ancient wisdom. "I hope you're not hurt."

Lumera released Alear from their embrace and turned her attention towards Emblem Marth and Alear's stewards: Vander, Clanne, and Framme. Her eyes lingered on each of them as if trying to assess their strengths and potential.

Emblem Marth stood tall, his noble presence emanating a sense of duty and honor. Vander, Clanne, and Framme, too, stood with determination etched on their faces, ready to face any challenge that lay ahead.

Lumera's gaze then shifted towards Kiran, the Summoner, and his Marth. She studied them intently, curiosity gleaming in her eyes. It was as if she could sense the power and purpose that radiated from within them.

Finally, Lumera spoke, her voice carrying a regal tone.

"I recognize Emblem Marth and Alear's Stewards," She said, her words filled with certainty. "But who are you? And what brings you to Somniel?"

Kiran took a step forward, his voice steady but filled with respect. "I am Kiran, the Summoner of the world of Zenith, in service to the Kingdom of Askr," he introduced himself. "We have come to aid Alear in her quest to bring balance to the land."

Kiran's Marth, standing beside him, added with a touch of pride, "I am not an Emblem, but a Hero summoned by Kiran's power. Together, we fight to protect our world."

A warm smile formed on Lumera's lips as she listened to their words. Her eyes sparkled with a mixture of wisdom and hope. "I am glad to see such brave souls standing by Alear's side," she said, her voice filled with admiration.

Lumera's focus shifted once more, now resting solely on Alear. "But there is much we must discuss," She said, her voice gentle yet authoritative. "Alear, my child…"

Upon hearing those words, Alear's eyes widened, a sudden realization dawning on her. She turned to Lumera, her voice filled with disbelief.

"Mother?" Alear muttered, her words barely audible. "You're... you're my mother?"

Lumera's face softened with warmth as she looked at her daughter. She reached out a hand, gently cupping Alear's cheek. "Yes, my dear," she said, her voice filled with love. "I am your mother, Lumera."

Alear's voice trembled as she stammered, "I... I'm sorry, Mother. I... I've forgotten so much... since my slumber."

Lumera's eyes glistened with understanding, and she pulled Alear into a tight embrace. "There is no need to apologize, my child," she whispered, her voice soothing. "I understand the weight of your slumber and the toll it has taken on your memories."

Alear relaxed in her mother's embrace, tears streaming down her face. She had longed for answers, for a connection to her past, and now it was all coming together. The emotions overwhelmed her, a mix of joy, sadness, and relief intertwining within her.

"It's alright, Alear," she heard herself say, her voice filled with acceptance. "We will piece together your memories, one step at a time."

Alear pulled back slightly, looking into her mother's eyes. "Mother," she began, her voice filled with curiosity, "what do you remember about our past? About me?"

Lumera's gaze grew distant for a moment as if she was delving into the depths of her memories. "Before you went into your slumber, my dear," she began, her voice tinged with a hint of sorrow, "you were grievously wounded. The battle was fierce, and we were fighting to protect our people."

Alear's heart sank at the mention of her past injuries. The pain must have been unimaginable, and yet she had no recollection of it. She clung to Lumera's words, desperate to understand her history.

Lumera's eyes met Alear's once more, filled with a mixture of sadness and hope.

"But now," she continued, her voice steady, "You have awakened, and we can forge a new path together. The wounds of the past may have scarred you, but they do not define you."

Alear nodded, a sense of determination welling up within her. She had been given a second chance, to rediscover herself and create a future she had never thought possible. With her mother's guidance and the support of her newfound allies, she knew she could overcome any obstacle that lay ahead.

And then, Lumera's voice echoed through the air, her tone urgent yet composed.

"We cannot linger here," Lumera declared, addressing the group. "These dark entities may have reinforcements nearby. It's best if we move quickly."

Alear's eyes widened at the realization, and she turned to Kiran with a nod.

"Kiran, I should dismiss my Emblem and you should dismiss your Hero," Alear suggested. "We need to be ready for whatever lies ahead."

Emblem Marth's voice resonated within Alear's mind, comforting and steadfast. "You can call upon me whenever you need, Alear," he assured her, his words filled with unwavering loyalty. "I will be there to aid you, no matter the circumstances."

With those final words, the spectral figure of Marth dissipated, returning to the safety of the Emblem Ring on Alear's left hand.

Kiran, too, spoke quietly to his Marth, a sense of gratitude lacing his words.

"Thank you for your assistance in the battle," Kiran expressed, his voice filled with appreciation. "I couldn't have done it without you."

Marth's response was swift, his voice tinged with determination. "You need only summon me, Kiran," he replied, his words brimming with loyalty. "I will always be there to fight by your side." With a final nod, Marth vanished, returning to the mystical confines of the Breidablik.

Lumera's voice broke through the quiet exchange, her words commanding attention. "Now, gather close and climb onto my back," she instructed, her tone resolute. "I will transform into my dragon form and fly us back to Lythos Castle."

The group moved swiftly, positioning themselves on Lumera's majestic back. Alear felt a surge of excitement mingled with trepidation as Lumera's form began to change, her body elongating and wings sprouting from her back. Soon, a magnificent dragon stood before them, ready to take flight.

As they soared through the sky, the wind rushing past them, Alear couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder. The world had become a place of magic and possibility, filled with extraordinary beings and extraordinary feats. And in the midst of it all, she found herself surrounded by newfound allies and the love of her mother.

With each beat of Lumera's powerful wings, they moved closer to Lythos Castle, their destination shimmering in the distance. Alear's heart swelled with determination, ready to face whatever challenges awaited them. Together, they would navigate the darkness and forge a path of light, united by their shared purpose and the strength of their bonds.

As Lumera soared gracefully through the expansive sky in her dragon form, her voice carried with the wind, reaching the ears of Alear, Vander, Clanne, Framme, and Kiran. She began to explain the World of Elyos, painting a vivid picture of its lands and kingdoms.

"Let me tell you about the world of Elyos," Lumera began, her voice resonating with a deep sense of wisdom. "There are many realms and kingdoms that shape this vast land. Firene, the Kingdom of Abundance, where the fertile fields stretch as far as the eye can see, providing sustenance to its people."

Alear listened intently, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. "And what of Brodia?" She inquired, her voice filled with a hunger for knowledge.

"Brodia," Lumera continued, her voice tinged with admiration, "is the Kingdom of Might. Its people are known for their incredible strength and prowess in battle. It is a land where warriors are forged and legends are born."

Clanne leaned forward, her eyes wide with wonder. "Tell us about Elusia, Lumera," He urged, his voice filled with an eagerness for knowledge.

Lumera smiled softly, her eyes sparkling with the love of learning. "Elusia," She explained, "is the Kingdom of Knowledge. Its scholars and sages dedicate their lives to the pursuit of wisdom and understanding. It is a place where the power of the mind is revered above all else."

Framme, ever the free spirit, perked up at the mention of Solm. "What about Solm, the Queendom of Freedom?" She inquired, her voice brimming with curiosity.

Lumera nodded, her expression reflecting the spirit of freedom that Solm embodied. "Solm," she described, "is a land where individuality and personal liberty are cherished. Its people value independence and self-expression above all else. It is a place where one can truly be themselves."

Kiran, lost in thought, was suddenly jolted back to attention at the mention of the Fell Dragon. His eyes widened, and he leaned in closer, his curiosity piqued.

'Fell Dragon,' Kiran thought. 'I've summoned Heroes with that moniker before, like Fell Dragon Grima. Who is this Fell Dragon Sombron?'

Lumera's gaze softened, her tone turning somber. "One thousand years ago," she began, her voice carrying the weight of history, "Elyos faced a brutal war against Fell Dragon Sombron. It was a time of darkness and despair, as Sombron sought to consume the world in his malevolent grasp."

"As the war against Fell Dragon Sombron rages, we have called upon warriors from other worlds to help us, the ones that are known as Emblems," Lumera explained. "And with the aid of the Emblems, the people of Elyos fought together as one."

As Lumera's words filled the air, Kiran's gaze shifted toward the Breidablik, a relic of immense power. Thoughts raced through his mind, contemplating the similarities between the worlds of Elyos and Zenith. Both faced great challenges, and both required Emblems and Heroes to rise and fight for their survival.

As Kiran finished contemplating his thoughts, he saw a castle in the distance.

'That must be Lythos Castle,' Kiran thought.

"In the end, we managed to defeat and imprison Sombron," Lumera continued. "In the years since Elyos has been safe, but now, even I sense the Sombron's revival as the bindings that put him in place weakened over time."

"If the Sombron casts his shadow over Elyos once again," Lumera added. "Then, we must confront him once more, as we did before. Fell Dragon Sombron must be stopped."

And after several minutes, they all arrived at Lythos Castle.

And so, their journey brought them to the grandeur of Lythos Castle. Its towering walls and majestic spires spoke of a rich history and a formidable presence. The air crackled with anticipation as the group approached the entrance, their steps echoing through the hallowed halls.

As Lumera's dragon form gracefully descended, the group, including Alear and her three Stewards, dismounted, their feet touching the solid ground of Lythos Castle. Lumera, in a graceful shift, transformed back into her humanoid form, her presence radiating warmth and reassurance.

"This is Lythos Castle," Lumera said, her voice filled with a comforting tone. "Here, within these walls, you all are safe."

Alear's eyes widened as she took in the grandeur of the castle. Its towering spires and intricate architecture spoke of a history long forgotten, yet somehow familiar. A sense of awe filled her, and she couldn't help but mutter softly, "Lythos Castle... it's beautiful."

Lumera smiled, her eyes glistening with a mix of nostalgia and affection. "Indeed, it is. And though you may not yet fully remember, Alear, this place has awaited your return. Lythos Castle is your home."

Alear's voice trembled as she struggled to find the right words. "My... home?" she stammered, her mind grasping at fragments of memories that danced just out of reach.

Lumera nodded, her expression filled with understanding. "Yes, Alear. Lythos Castle has always been and will always be your home. We have safeguarded it for your return."

A sense of belonging washed over Alear mingled with confusion and curiosity. She couldn't deny the pull she felt towards the castle, as if an invisible thread connected her to its very foundations.

As her Stewards stood beside her, their support palpable, Alear's gaze swept across the castle's grand halls, the intricately carved pillars, and the stained glass windows that bathed the rooms in a kaleidoscope of colors. Images flickered in her mind like fragments of a dream slowly piecing themselves together.

Lumera stepped forward, her voice gentle yet filled with certainty. "Alear, you may not fully remember your past, but Lythos Castle holds the key to unlocking your true self. Here, within these walls, you will find the answers you seek."

A sense of determination welled up within Alear, pushing aside any lingering doubts. This castle, with its ethereal beauty and Lumera's unwavering guidance, held the promise of rediscovery.

With a newfound resolve, Alear looked at Lumera, her eyes shining with determination. "I may not remember everything, but I am ready to embrace this place as my home. Lythos Castle, I am here and will uncover the truth."

Lumera's smile widened, a glimmer of pride in her eyes. "That is the spirit, Alear. Together, we shall unravel the mysteries of your past, and forge a future worthy of the legacy that lies within Lythos Castle."

As Alear and Lumera started at each other, no one else seemed to interrupt until Vander coughed, turning their attention towards him.

"Ahem, Queen Lumera…" Vander interrupted.

Lumera smiled as she turned her attention towards Vander, Clanne, and Framme, Alear's faithful Stewards.

"Thank you, Vander," Lumera acknowledged, her voice filled with gratitude as she turned her attention to Alear's Stewards. "And thank you, Clanne and Framme, for your unwavering loyalty towards Alear. Your dedication has not gone unnoticed."

Vander, ever humble, replied with a touch of modesty, "You are too kind, Queen Lumera. We serve Alear with all our hearts."

Clanne, his eyes shining with genuine appreciation, added, "It is an honor to serve alongside Alear, and to receive recognition from you, Queen Lumera, is truly humbling."

Framme, beaming with pride, couldn't contain her excitement. "I am so happy to be praised by Queen Lumera herself! It's a privilege to be by Alear's side."

Lumera's smile widened, her gaze shifting to Kiran. Kiran could see that in her eyes despite being a newcomer to Elyos, Lumera felt indebted to him somehow.

"And thank you, Kiran, for keeping Alear safe throughout her journey," Lumera spoke to Kiran. "Your presence has been a source of comfort and strength."

"Thank you, Queen Lumera," Kiran replied. "As a Summoner, I can't turn my back on people who need help, such as your daughter, Alear."

As she smiled at Kiran's reply, Lumera's tone turned serious, her eyes filled with curiosity. "Now that we are within the walls of Lythos Castle, Kiran, I ask that you fully explain who you are, what your abilities entail, and the world from which you hail."

Kiran's smile was warm and genuine as he began to unravel his story. "I am Kiran Pathfinder, the Summoner from the World of Zenith, in service to the Kingdom of Askr. My abilities lie in summoning Heroes from various worlds to aid me in protecting Zenith."

Lumera's eyes widened with intrigue, her voice filled with wonder. "Summoning Heroes? From different worlds?"

Kiran nodded, his voice tinged with pride. "Indeed, Queen Lumera. With the power bestowed upon me, I can call upon Heroes from different realms, each with their unique skills and strengths. Together, we defend Zenith from various threats."

Alear, listening intently to the conversation, couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. The pieces of the puzzle were slowly coming together, revealing a world far grander and more complex than she had ever imagined.

Lumera's smile widened as she listened to Kiran's explanation. "Your ability to summon Heroes, Kiran, seems to share similarities with our power to call upon the Emblems through the strength of our prayers."

Kiran's eyes sparkled with interest. "Emblems are brought forth into the physical realm through prayer? That sounds fascinating. I would love to learn more about your abilities as well, Queen Lumera."

Lumera nodded, her voice filled with curiosity. "Indeed, Kiran. But first, I am eager to understand how your Hero-summoning ability works. Could you enlighten me on the specifics?"

Kiran reached for his holster, unclasping it with a practiced hand. He carefully retrieved the Breidablik, a sacred relic, and presented it to Lumera. "This, Queen Lumera, is the Breidablik. It is through this mighty artifact that I can summon Heroes and forge a contract with them."

Lumera's eyes widened with awe as she examined the intricate design of the Breidablik. "Such a sacred artifact, and it holds the power to summon Heroes from different worlds. Truly remarkable."

Kiran nodded, his voice steady and filled with knowledge. "Indeed, Queen Lumera. The Breidablik acts as a conduit, channeling the energies that allow me to reach out to Heroes across realms. It is through this device that I can form a contract with them and call upon their strength."

Lumera's curiosity grew, her eyes fixed on the Breidablik. "But can you summon a specific Hero when you desire? Or is it entirely up to the Hero in question whether they answer your summons?"

Kiran's expression turned thoughtful. "Ah, that is the peculiar nature of the summoning process. While I can attempt to summon a specific Hero, it ultimately depends on their willingness to respond to my call. Heroes have their wills and destinies, and they may choose to answer or not."

Lumera nodded, her understanding deepening. "So, it is a delicate balance between your desire to summon and the Hero's willingness to be summoned. Fascinating."

Kiran's gaze softened as he continued. "However, once a contract is formed, I can summon Heroes I have already forged a connection with. For example, the Marth you witnessed earlier, Queen Lumera. He is a Hero I have contracted with, and I can call upon him whenever the need arises."

Lumera's excitement was palpable as she absorbed this newfound knowledge. "The possibilities are endless, Kiran. With our Emblems and your Heroes at our disposal, we may just have a fighting chance against the challenges that lie ahead."

As Lumera and Kiran stood there, the Breidablik shimmering in Kiran's hand, they couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. The melding of their powers and the strength of the Heroes would shape the destiny of Lythos Castle and the realms beyond.

Clanne's voice carried across the room as she called out to Kiran, her tone filled with curiosity. "Kiran, tell us about your world. We're all eager to know where you came from."

Framme chimed in, her eyes shining with interest. "Yes, Kiran! I'm curious too. What is the world like that you left behind?"

Alear nodded in agreement, her expression mirroring the twins' curiosity. "I've always wondered about the World of Zenith. Please, share your knowledge with us, Kiran."

Kiran's smile widened as he briefly closed his eyes and recalled memories of his homeworld.

"Kiran? Why don't you stop reading books and play with us?"

"Well, I do like reading books. I find these books very cool."

"Kiran, you're weird."

"Well, we're all weird kids in our way, you know…"

Back in the orphanage in his homeworld, Kiran read a lot of books about Norse Mythology before being called to Zenith.

Kiran recalled during his time in the orphanage, the other kids tried their best to play with them, but Kiran instead read a lot of books specifically about Norse Mythology.

Kiran couldn't understand why, but he felt gravitated at how fascinating Norse Mythology is, and that his knowledge of it proved to be useful when he was called to Zenith by Anna all those years ago.

As he opened his eyes, Kiran smiled that his knowledge of Norse Mythology could come in handy.

"As the Summoner for the Kingdom of Askr," Kiran explained. "My affiliation is with the Order of Heroes."

"Can you please explain what the Order of Heroes is to us?" Lumera asked.

"Of course, Queen Lumera," Kiran nodded. "The Order of Heroes consists of Heroes from other worlds, as well as people from the kingdom of Askr, its founding members."

"And who are the founding members of the Order of Heroes?" Alear asked.

"Oh, the Order of Heroes is founded by three people: Crown Prince Alfonse, Princess Sharena, and Commander Anna," Kiran answered." Commander Anna serves as the primary leader while Crown Prince Alfonse and Princess Sharena act as co-leaders."

"So, that means that every Hero that you summon gets inducted into the Order of Heroes?" Framme asked.

"Yeah, every Hero that I summon and forge a contract with gets automatically inducted into the Order of Heroes," Kiran answered. "And as to the world I came from? Well…"

As Kiran raised the Breidablik upwards, he pulled the trigger. In an instant, a mesmerizing projection of light appeared before them. Alear, Lumera, Vander, Clanne, and Framme looked on in awe as a map materialized from the Breidablik's mystical power.

The image displayed a magnificent tree with nine distinct branches, each adorned with miniature worlds at their tips. They floated within the vastness of space, shining with ethereal beauty.

Kiran's voice carried with a hint of pride. "This, my friends, is the World of Zenith. The tree represents the core of our realm, and each branch signifies one of the Nine Realms of Zenith."

Lumera's eyes widened as she marveled at the intricate details of the projection. "So, these branches symbolize the different realms within Zenith? How fascinating!"

Kiran nodded, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "Exactly, Queen Lumera. Each branch represents a unique realm, with its distinct characteristics and inhabitants. There is a world to discover within each branch."

Vander's curiosity got the better of him, and he leaned forward, studying the projection intently. "And what are these miniature worlds at the end of each branch? Are they the realms themselves?"

Kiran's voice resonated through the room as he began to explain the significance of the tree. "This magnificent tree is known as Yggdrasill. Each of its nine branches represents a distinct realm within Zenith, known as the Nine Realms."

Curiosity danced in the eyes of his companions as Kiran continued to share his knowledge. "Let me start with the first branch, which represents the Realm of Midgard. It is a realm divided into two powerful nations: the Kingdom of Askr and the Emblian Empire."

Alear's brows furrowed in thought as she posed a question. "So, Kiran, have Askr and Embla always been embroiled in conflict? It sounds like there might have been tensions between the two."

Kiran's nod confirmed Alear's assumption. "Indeed, Alear. For a long time, the Kingdom of Askr and the Emblian Empire were embroiled in a bitter conflict. The lands were ravaged, and the people suffered."

He continued, his voice filled with pride. "But, thanks to the efforts of many, including myself, Alfonse, Sharena, Commander Anna, and even Princess Veronica, peace has been restored between the two nations."

Clanne's eyes sparkled with interest. "That's incredible! It's amazing how a group of determined individuals can bring about such a positive change."

Framme nodded in agreement, her voice filled with admiration. "Yes, indeed. I would love to visit the Kingdom of Askr and maybe even join the Order of Heroes someday. It sounds like a place of great resilience and strength."

Kiran smiled warmly at their enthusiasm. "Well, my friends, if you all answered the Summoner's call, the Breidablik will allow any of you to be summoned as Heroes, visit Askr, and even join the Order of Heroes. You will have the chance to explore its lands, meet its people, and witness the fruits of peace firsthand."

Alear's eyes widened with wonder. "To be summoned as a Hero and to be part of the Order of Heroes? That would be an honor. Imagine the adventures and challenges we could face alongside the people of Askr."

Kiran nodded, his voice filled with encouragement. "Indeed, Alear. If you're summoned as a Hero, you would play a vital role in protecting the realm and forging new alliances. The possibilities are endless."

Lumera's eyes gleamed with hope as she leaned forward, her voice filled with anticipation. "Kiran, is there a chance that I, too, can be summoned as a Hero?"

Kiran met Lumera's gaze with a reassuring smile. "Of course, Lumera. As long as you answer the Summoner's call with all your heart and conviction, you can and will be summoned as a Hero."

A surge of excitement coursed through Lumera's veins as she imagined herself standing alongside the legendary Heroes, ready to face any challenge that came their way.

Kiran then gestured towards two branches of Yggdrasill that stood side by side, their presence commanding attention. "Now, let me direct your attention to these two branches. They represent the Kingdom of Nifl, the Kingdom of Ice, and the Kingdom of Muspell, the Kingdom of Flame."

Vander, his curiosity piqued, couldn't help but interject. "Are Nifl and Muspell also caught in a conflict, much like Askr and Embla?"

Kiran nodded solemnly, his gaze fixed on the intertwining branches. "Indeed, Vander. The Kingdom of Muspell was ruled by Surtr, a tyrant who sought to raze Nifl to the ground. The realms were locked in a bitter struggle."

He continued, his voice carrying a note of triumph. "But, with the combined efforts of the Nifl royal family, including Fjorm, Gunnthra, Hrid, and Ylgr, alongside Surtr's daughters, Laegjarn and Laevatein, they were able to defeat Surtr and bring a lasting peace to both kingdoms."

Lumera's eyes widened with awe at the thought of such fierce battles and heroic triumphs. "To witness the bravery and unity of these warriors must have been truly remarkable."

Kiran nodded, his voice filled with admiration. "Indeed, Lumera. Their courage and determination serve as an inspiration to us all. It is through their sacrifices and unwavering resolve that the flame of peace now burns brightly in Nifl and Muspell."

Vander's gaze turned thoughtful as he absorbed the tale. "It's incredible how these realms, once torn apart by conflict, have found a way to forge alliances and overcome their differences."

Kiran's smile held a touch of pride. "Indeed, Vander. The bonds formed in the crucible of battle can be the strongest of all. It is through these alliances that the realms grow stronger and can face any future challenges that may arise."

As Lumera, Vander, and Kiran stood in the presence of Yggdrasill, the tree that held the fate of the Nine Realms, they couldn't help but feel a surge of determination. The stories of heroes and kingdoms resonated within their souls, fueling their desire to answer the call and join the ranks of the summoned Heroes.

Kiran extended a finger towards the lowest-lying branch of Yggdrasil, his voice carrying a hint of solemnity. "That branch there represents Hel, the Realm of the Dead. It was once ruled by Hel herself, the Death Sovereign."

Clanne's eyes widened, a flicker of surprise crossing his face. He stumbled over his words, his voice filled with uncertainty. "Wait, you mean there's a realm where people go when they die?"

Framme nodded, her voice tinged with a hint of fear. "The Realm of Hel sounds so scary. I can't imagine what it must be like."

Kiran, understanding their trepidation, offered a comforting reassurance. "Clanne, Framme, Lumera, Alear, Vander… And all of us here, humans and dragons alike, we are all mortals. We all have a finite time in this world, and eventually, we will all pass on, but that's precisely why we need to do our best every day, to make the most of the time we have."

He continued, his gaze filled with compassion. "And even though Hel tried to bring destruction upon Midgard, she didn't succeed. Through the help of her adopted daughter, Princess Eir, we managed to defeat Hel and save Midgard from her grasp."

Lumera, her voice filled with determination, spoke up. "So, even in the face of darkness and despair, there is always hope. We can overcome any challenge if we stand together."

Kiran nodded, a soft smile playing on his lips. "Exactly, Lumera. The battles we face, both in this realm and beyond, are not without purpose. They shape us, test our resolve, and remind us of the preciousness of life."

Clanne's eyes sparkled with newfound understanding. "So, we must cherish every moment and strive to make a difference, even in the face of the unknown."

Framme nodded, her fear replaced by a sense of purpose. "We may not know what lies beyond, but we can make our mark on this realm while we still can."

Kiran's voice held a note of encouragement. "Indeed, my friends. Let us embrace each day as an opportunity to live, to learn, and to leave a lasting impact.

Kiran's gaze shifted towards one of the high branches of Yggdrasil, a twinkle of excitement in his eyes. "Now, look up there," he said, his finger pointing towards a branch adorned with a miniature world shaped like a flower, its colors a mix of light and dark. "That branch represents Alfheimr, the realm of the Alfar."

"Alfheimr is separated into two sub-realms," Kiran continued. "Ljosalfheimr, the Realm of Dreams, and Dokkalfheimr, the Realm of Nightmares."

Clanne's fascination grew, his voice filled with awe. "So, there's a Realm of Dreams?"

Framme nodded, her eyes shining with curiosity. "And there's even a Realm of Nightmares too?"

"Yes," Kiran answered. "Dreams and Nightmares are two sides of the same coin."

A sense of wonder washed over the group as they absorbed this newfound knowledge. Dreams and Nightmares, are two sides of the same coin, each playing a vital role in the lives of mortals.

Clanne's voice trembled with excitement. "So, both Dreams and Nightmares are necessary for us to sleep properly?"

Kiran smiled, his voice filled with reassurance. "Yes, Clanne. Dreams allow us to explore the depths of our subconscious, and to venture into realms beyond our waking reality. And Nightmares, though they may be unsettling, help us confront our fears and grow stronger."

Framme's eyes sparkled with delight. "I never knew there was so much to learn about the world of dreams and nightmares."

Kiran nodded, his gaze warm. "Indeed, Framme. The realm of Alfheimr is inhabited by a fascinating group of beings known as Alfar, or as you may know them, Fairies."

Clanne and Framme exchanged excited glances, their voices filled with wonder. "Fairies are real?"

"Sure they are. Fairies are real," Kiran replied. "Maybe I could summon Peony, Mirabilis, Triandra, and Plumeria in front of you all someday."

"Please do," Framme said, her eyes shining in excitement. "I hope I get to meet a fairy someday."

"Yeah, I think it'll be great if we meet Peony, and the other fairies," Clanne agreed.

Alear, who had been listening intently, spoke up. "Wait, Kiran, could it be through Alfheimr that I've been able to see you in my dreams?"

Kiran's smile widened with a hint of mystery in his voice. "It's quite possible, Alear. Dreams have a way of connecting us to realms beyond our own. Perhaps our paths have crossed in the realm of Alfheimr."

The group fell into a moment of contemplation, the vastness of the universe unfolding before them. Dreams and nightmares, fairies and hidden realms—it was a tapestry of wonder that they had only just begun to unravel.

As they gazed up at the branch representing Alfheimr, the air seemed to shimmer with possibilities. They were on the cusp of an extraordinary journey, one that would take them beyond the boundaries of their known world and into the realm of dreams and nightmares. Little did they know that their encounters with the Alfar and the secrets they would uncover would forever alter the course of their lives.

Lumera leaned forward, her eyes filled with concern. "Kiran, does that mean Ljosalfheimr and Dokkalfheimr are embroiled in a conflict?"

Kiran's expression turned solemn as he nodded. "Yes, Queen Lumera. The realms of Dreams and Nightmares have been locked in a struggle for ages."

Curiosity filled the air as the group awaited Kiran's explanation. He took a deep breath before continuing. "In Alfheimr, there are two individuals who rule over each half of the realm. Freyr, the Dream-King, is the ruler of Ljosalfheimr, the Realm of Dreams. And his sister, Freyja, holds the title of the Lady of Nightmares, ruling over Dokkalfheimr, the Realm of Nightmares."

Gasps of surprise echoed through the group as they absorbed this revelation. The intricate web of politics and power in Alfheimr was more complex than they had imagined.

Kiran's voice grew somber as he continued. "Freyja, consumed by an obsessive love for her brother Freyr, caused an imbalance between Ljosalfheimr and Dokkalfheimr. This imbalance eventually threatened the existence of Midgard."

A sense of unease settled over the group as they grasped the gravity of the situation. The fate of Midgard hung in the balance, influenced by the turmoil of the realms beyond.

Framme's voice trembled with concern. "What happened next, Kiran? How did this conflict resolve?"

Kiran's gaze turned distant, lost in the memories of the past. "Freyr, in an act of selflessness, made the ultimate sacrifice to save Midgard and the Order of Heroes. He understood that the imbalance caused by Freyja's obsession needed to be rectified."

A wave of sadness washed over the group as they contemplated Freyr's sacrifice. Alear, her voice filled with anguish, spoke up. "Freyr sacrificed himself for Midgard? How could he make such a choice?"

Kiran's voice held a hint of sorrow as he replied. "Sometimes, Alear, sacrifices must be made to protect what is dear to us. Freyr understood the importance of restoring balance, even if it meant giving up his own life."

The weight of Freyr's sacrifice hung heavy in the air. The group grappled with the notion that sometimes, heroes must pay a steep price to ensure the survival of their world.

As they absorbed Kiran's words, a newfound determination flickered in their eyes. They understood that their journey was not just about uncovering the mysteries of Alfheimr, but also about standing against the forces that threatened their very existence.

With each passing moment, their resolve grew stronger, fueled by the knowledge that sacrifices, however painful, might be necessary to safeguard the realms they held dear.

As the group stood in awe before the Breidablik's projection of the immense Yggdrasill, the World Tree, its branches stretching towards the heavens, Clanne's finger pointed towards one of the branches, drawing everyone's attention.

"Look!" Clanne exclaimed, excitement evident in her voice. "That branch there, with its miniature world shaped like a gear cog. What realm does it represent?"

Framme's eyes widened with curiosity as she followed Clanne's gaze. "And what about that other branch nearby? Its miniature world seems vaguely shaped like an eagle. What realm does it signify?"

Kiran, the knowledgeable guide of the group, stepped forward, ready to share his wisdom. "The branch with the gear cog represents Nidavellir, the Realm of the Dvergar, also known as the Dwarves. Nidavellir is a realm where the Dvergar, skilled craftsmen and masterful engineers, reside."

A sense of wonder filled the air as the group absorbed this new knowledge. The concept of a realm inhabited by Dwarves, with their expertise in crafting and engineering, sparked their imaginations.

Lumera's brows furrowed as she turned to Kiran, her eyes filled with curiosity. "But what exactly are Dvergar? I've heard of Dwarves, but is there a difference?"

Kiran nodded, appreciating Lumera's thirst for knowledge. "Indeed, Lumera. 'Dvergar' is the plural form of 'Dvergr.' The closest word in our language for 'Dvergr' is 'Dwarf.' Dvergar are known for their craftsmanship, their ability to shape metals and stones into intricate creations."

The group shared a collective nod, their understanding deepening. The Dvergar, with their skillful hands and remarkable creations, held a unique place in the realms.

Lumera's gaze shifted toward the branch with the eagle-like shape, her curiosity piqued once again. "And what about the branch with the vaguely eagle-like shape? What realm does it represent?"

Kiran's eyes brightened as he replied, "That branch represents Jotunheimr, the Realm of the Jotnar, also known as Giants. Jotunheimr is a vast land inhabited by powerful beings, towering in size and strength."

A mixture of awe and trepidation danced in the group's eyes as they processed this new information. The thought of a realm filled with towering Giants evoked a sense of both wonder and caution.

Alear leaned forward, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. "I have a question. Did either Nidavellir or Jotunheimr ever come into conflict with the Kingdom of Askr?"

Kiran nodded, a somber expression crossing his face. "Yes, it was Nidavellir. The Kingdom of Askr faced an attack from Nidavellir soldiers, led by a formidable warrior named Reginn."

Gasps of surprise filled the air as the group absorbed this revelation. The idea of a clash between realms sent shivers down their spines.

Kiran continued, his voice tinged with a mix of admiration and caution. "Reginn was a fierce warrior, but the Kingdom of Askr managed to defeat her in a battle that shook the very foundations of their land."

Framme's eyes widened, her voice filled with awe. "What happened next?"

A hint of a smile played on Kiran's lips. "After her defeat, Reginn made a surprising decision. She defected to the Kingdom of Askr, revealing her true intentions. Reginn confessed that she wanted the conquests to stop, even if it meant confronting her brothers, Fafnir and Otr."

Lumera's voice filled with curiosity as she leaned in closer. "But what about Jotunheimr? Did they intervene?"

Kiran's eyes sparkled as he confirmed Lumera's suspicions. "Indeed, Jotunheimr could not stand idly by. They dispatched their two mighty princesses, Dagr and Nott, to aid the Kingdom of Askr in their struggle against Nidavellir's assault."

A sense of anticipation filled the group as they imagined the arrival of the Jotunheimr princesses, their presence a beacon of hope in the face of adversity.

Alear's voice broke through the silence, her excitement evident. "What happened when Dagr and Nott arrived? Did they turn the tide of the battle?"

Kiran nodded, his voice filled with a mix of admiration and relief. "Yes, indeed. The arrival of the Jotunheimr princesses was a turning point for the Kingdom of Askr. With their immense strength and strategic prowess, Dagr and Nott helped the Kingdom of Askr and the Order of Heroes, in their own… ways."

Alear's eyebrows furrowed, her curiosity piqued. "That's fascinating, Kiran. But what happened next? How did everything unfold?"

Kiran took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts. "Well, one event led to another, and as the battles raged on, a shocking revelation came to light. It turned out that Reginn, the warrior who had initially led the Nidavellir forces, was not just any soldier. She was the true heir to the throne of Nidavellir, the long-lost princess."

Gasps filled the room as Lumera, Alear, and the stewards exchanged surprised glances. The pieces of the puzzle were slowly falling into place.

Vander stepped forward, his voice low and filled with intrigue. "What about Otr? You mentioned Fafnir and Reginn, but what role does Otr play in all of this?"

Kiran's eyes darkened, a shadow crossing his face. "Otr is a complex figure. He is the son of a commoner, but he played a crucial role in a coup that killed the real royal family of Nidavellir. With them out of the way, Fafnir, Reginn's brother, became nothing more than a puppet ruler."

Silence hung in the air as Vander and the others absorbed this revelation. The depth of the deception was staggering, and they couldn't help but feel sympathy for Reginn, thrust into a web of treachery and lies.

Alear's voice broke through the silence, her eyes gleaming with determination. "But Kiran, who orchestrated all of this? Who is the mastermind behind Nidavellir's turmoil?"

Kiran's expression turned grave as he spoke the name that had haunted their thoughts. "The true mastermind, the one who orchestrated these events from behind the scenes, is a Dvergr named Eitri. As Nidavellir's Youthful Sage, she is a cunning and manipulative figure, manipulating events from behind the scenes."

"Is that so?" Lumera inquired. "Then, what is Eitri's true goal?"

"Queen Lumera, Eitri's goal is to put Reginn on Nidavellir's throne as Reginn is the true heir," Kiran answered. "To achieve that goal, Eitri resorted to treachery, manipulation, and even slaughtering innocent people."

Lumera's voice quivered with a mix of disbelief and anger. "What could drive someone to manipulate, kill, and slaughter innocent people? How could Eitri be so heartless?"

Kiran's expression darkened, his voice tinged with bitterness. "Eitri's ultimate goal was to have Reginn rule over Nidavellir, no matter the cost. She believed that the ends justified the means, and she had no qualms about sacrificing innocent lives to achieve her twisted vision."

Alear's eyes widened in horror, her voice filled with righteous indignation. "That's monstrous! How could anyone be so callous?"

Kiran nodded, understanding the weight of their disgust. "I share your disdain, Alear. Eitri's actions were reprehensible, and she showed no remorse for the lives she destroyed in her pursuit of power."

Lumera's fists clenched, her voice trembling with anger. "But did she succeed? Did Eitri manage to put Reginn on the throne of Nidavellir?"

Kiran's gaze hardened, his words laced with a sense of bitter triumph. "Yes, she did. Eitri's schemes bore fruit, and Reginn ascended to the throne of Nidavellir. But victory came at a high price."

A look of confusion crossed Alear's face. "What do you mean, Kiran? What price did Eitri pay for her treachery?"

Kiran's voice grew somber, his words heavy with the weight of loss. "Reginn, in a moment of clarity, realized the depths of Eitri's manipulations. She discovered that Eitri had placed protective wards around herself, ensuring her safety in battle. But Reginn, determined to rid Nidavellir of Eitri's influence, used Gramr, the very sword that Eitri gave to Reginn herself, to remove the wards protecting Eitri."

Lumera's eyes widened, a mix of shock and awe filtering through her voice. "She removed the wards, didn't she? Reginn willingly exposed Eitri to the dangers of battle."

Kiran nodded, a sense of respect in his eyes. "Yes, Lumera. Reginn, with her newfound power and resolve, removed the protective wards, leaving Eitri vulnerable. In a fierce battle against the Order of Heroes, Eitri met her demise, paying the price for her treachery."

Silence enveloped the room as Lumera, Alear, and Kiran processed the magnitude of Reginn's sacrifice. They couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for her courage, even in the face of such darkness.

Alear's voice broke the silence, her tone filled with determination. "Eitri may be gone, but her legacy, the scars she left behind, remain. We must ensure that Reginn's rule brings light and justice to Nidavellir, to heal the wounds caused by Eitri's reign of terror."

Lumera and Kiran nodded in agreement, their resolve strengthening. They knew that the battle against darkness was far from over. Together, they would bring hope and redemption to Nidavellir, honoring the sacrifices made and ensuring that Eitri's twisted vision would never take root again.

As the group stood in wonder of the Yggdraill projection and the nine branches that represent the Nine Realms of Zenith, Clanne's finger extended towards the sprawling branches of the Yggdrasill projection, his gaze fixated on one particular branch that culminated in a miniature world adorned with a stylized star. "What world is that branch leading to?" he inquired, curiosity dancing in his eyes.

Framme, always eager to learn, chimed in with her question. "Kiran, could you enlighten us about this world? Who inhabits it and what lies within?"

Kiran, his mind drifting back to a distant memory, paused for a moment before responding. "That branch represents Vanaheimr, the Realm of Light. It is home to a race of beings known as the Vanir, who embody the essence of purity and radiance."

Then Kiran paused for a brief moment, recalling his encounter with the mysterious Vanir, Gullveig the Golden Seer. Kiran had a feeling that Alear, Lumera, and the 3 Stewards would have no idea who Gullveig even is, Kiran drawn from what memories he could remember about Vanaheimr, specifically from the books that he read back in his homeworld.

Alear's brow furrowed as she voiced her concern. "Kiran, are you alright? I sense a hint of unease in your voice."

Kiran offered a reassuring smile, his eyes filled with determination. "I'm fine, Alear. It's just that the Order of Heroes hasn't visited Vanaheimr yet."

Lumera, her voice filled with hope, spoke up. "When the time comes, I hope we can visit Vanaheimr. Perhaps the Vanir would welcome us with open arms."

Kiran's gaze softened, his voice carrying a touch of longing. "I too hope for that, Lumera. It would be a wondrous experience to explore the Realm of Light and forge bonds with the Vanir."

Framme, her eyes shining with excitement, interjected. "Imagine the knowledge and wisdom we could gain from the Vanir! They must hold ancient secrets and insights beyond our imagination."

Kiran nodded in agreement, his mind already racing with the possibilities. "Indeed, Framme. Anything is possible in the future, but we strive to do actions in the present to make the future that we want possible."

Alear's finger extended towards the intricate branches of the Yggdrasill projection, her eyes fixed on a particular branch that led to a miniature world shrouded in ethereal clouds. "What world does that branch lead to?" she inquired, her voice laced with curiosity.

Kiran, the resident scholar of the group, stepped forward to provide an answer. "That branch represents Asgardr, the Celestial Realm. It is the most enigmatic of all the Nine Realms of Zenith, ruled over by the mysterious Alfador."

Lumera, her eyes wide with wonder, couldn't help but interject. "Kiran, have you ever encountered anyone from Asgardr? What are its inhabitants like?"

Kiran's expression turned pensive as he recalled his encounters. "Yes, I have met two individuals from Asgardr. One is Loki, the Trickster, known for her cunning and mischievous ways. The other is Thorr, the mighty War God, revered for her strength and prowess in battle."

Alear's curiosity couldn't be contained as she posed another question. "Have Loki and Thorr ever paid a visit to the Kingdom of Askr?"

Kiran nodded, his gaze distant as he recollected the memories. "Indeed, they have visited Askr on several occasions. It seems that both Loki and Thorr occasionally test the combat prowess of the Order of Heroes during their visits."

Lumera's brows furrowed in confusion. "But why would they test the Kingdom of Askr? What purpose does it serve for them?"

Kiran shrugged a hint of mystery in his voice. "That, Lumera, is a question that even I haven't been able to answer. The motivations behind Loki and Thorr's actions remain elusive, like the secrets of Asgardr itself."

As Kiran finished explaining the Asgardr and as the Yggdrasill projection faded away, Lumera's voice cut through the silence, gratitude lacing her words.

"Thank you, Kiran, for sharing your identity as a Summoner and the world you hail from," Lumera spoke to Kiran. "It means a lot to us."

Vander, his suspicion now replaced by trust, chimed in. "Now that you've fully explained yourself, Kiran, I can confidently say that I trust you. We're in this together."

Clanne, his gentle demeanor evident, nodded in agreement. "If you ever need healing, Kiran, I will do my utmost to restore you to full health. My abilities as a healer are at your disposal."

Framme, her fiery spirit shining through, declared with determination. "And if I see you in danger, Kiran, I will unleash the full force of my Body Arts upon your attacker. No one harms our Summoner."

Alear, her voice sincere, expressed her gratitude. "Thank you, Kiran, for opening up to us. Your story has brought us closer, and we are grateful to have you as part of our team."

Kiran, touched by their words, replied with a gracious smile. "I appreciate your gratitude, my friends. Rest assured, while I am here in Elyos, I will do everything in my power to safeguard this realm alongside Alear."

Alear's eyes sparkled with determination as she made a promise. "And Kiran, I swear that one day, I will visit the World of Zenith. If fate allows, I hope to be summoned as a Hero in Askr. I will repay your trust with my dedication."

The group fell into a contemplative silence, each member envisioning their path ahead. The bond forged through mutual understanding and shared aspirations now held them together. They knew that challenges awaited them, but they were united by their resolve and their faith in one another.

Lumera's voice resonated with urgency as she addressed the group. "Now that Kiran has shed light on his origins, it's time we focus on the pressing matter at hand. I have grave news, my friends. The Corrupted have made their presence known in Lythos."

Alear's brows furrowed in confusion as she sought clarification. "Corrupted? What are they, Lumera?"

Lumera's expression turned solemn as she embarked on an explanation. "The foes we encountered earlier, those twisted and malevolent beings, were the Corrupted. They are corpses revived by the power of the Fell Dragon Sombron. These abominations serve as soldiers in Sombron's dark war."

Kiran's eyes widened with recognition as Lumera described the Corrupted. In his mind, he drew parallels between them and the horrors faced by Chrom and Robin in Ylisse, as well as the Faceless that Corrin had battled in Hoshido and Nohr.

Lumera's voice carried a sense of history and despair as she recounted the origins of their current predicament. "In the beginning, Elyos was a realm of peace, untouched by darkness for eons," she began, her words heavy with sorrow. "But then, a presence, a dark force, emerged from the unknown depths."

Alear and Kiran's eyes widened in recognition as they spoke in unison, their voices filled with subtle dread. "Fell Dragon Sombron..."

Lumera nodded, her gaze filled with a mixture of sadness and determination. "Indeed, Sombron, the Fell Dragon, unleashed his malevolence upon Elyos. Despite tireless searching, even the people of this land could not determine his origins. But one thing was certain, the destruction he wrought and the emergence of the Corrupted left no doubt about his evil intentions."

Alear's voice wavered as she spoke, her apprehension palpable. "I... I understand the gravity of the situation, Lumera, but I fear that I may not be ready to face the might of Fell Dragon Sombron just yet."

Lumera turned towards Alear, her eyes filled with compassion. "Alear, my child, you mustn't burden yourself with unnecessary worries. None of us are truly ready to face such a formidable foe. But we must stand strong together and devise a plan for when the Corrupted inevitably makes their way to Lythos once again."

Kiran interjected, his voice resolute. "Lumera is right, Alear. We cannot allow fear to paralyze us. We must prepare ourselves mentally and physically, gather our allies, and strategize for the battles that lie ahead."

Lumera's voice resonated with determination as she addressed her companions. "The time has come for us to devise a plan," she declared, her eyes scanning the room. "We need all the help we can get, and that includes calling upon Emblem Marth."

Alear's left hand trembled slightly as it bathed in a bluish light, a telltale sign of the summoning ritual. The air crackled with energy as Emblem Marth materialized before them, his presence exuding both strength and wisdom. His eyes met Lumera's, and a faint smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "It has been quite some time," he said, his voice echoing with a hint of nostalgia.

Lumera nodded, a mixture of gratitude and relief washing over her. "Indeed, it has, Emblem Marth. I thank you for coming to our aid once again in this time of need. Your presence will be invaluable in our fight against the Corrupted."

Emblem Marth's gaze shifted towards Alear, his expression softening. "I could only offer my assistance because your child, Alear, remembered me," He admitted. "And let us not forget the bravery and strength displayed by Kiran and his summoned Marth. Together, we were able to repel the Corrupted."

"Yes, it was through our combined efforts, as well as Alear's Emblem and my Hero, that we stood victorious against the first battle against the Corrupted," Kiran affirmed.

Emblem Marth's voice carried a hint of excitement as he interjected, "It is possible that the other Emblems have been roused from their slumber." His words hung in the air, stirring a mixture of anticipation and hope among the group.

Lumera turned to Emblem Marth, a glimmer of optimism shining in her eyes. "I truly hope you are right," she replied, her voice filled with longing. The possibility of reuniting with the other Emblems brought a surge of renewed determination within her.

Alear's curiosity got the better of her, and she couldn't help but speak up. "Will we get to see the other Emblems?" she asked eagerly, her eyes wide with anticipation.

Lumera nodded, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Yes, Alear," she answered. "You and Kiran will come with me into the Ring Vault, where the Emblems reside. Vander, Clanne, and Framme, you shall wait for us in the halls."

Vander, always the stoic one, acknowledged Lumera's orders with a nod. Clanne and Framme, on the other hand, couldn't contain their excitement, their faces lighting up with enthusiasm.

"Of course, Your Highness!" Clanne exclaimed, his voice brimming with eagerness.

Framme chimed in, her voice laced with anticipation, "We'll be eagerly waiting for your return!"

Emblem Marth turned his attention to Alear, his voice warm and comforting.

"It is fortunate that I get to meet with Lumera once again before returning to my Emblem Ring," he said, his tone filled with genuine appreciation before returning to his Emblem Ring. A sense of gratitude emanated from his words, reminding them all of the bond they shared.

Wasting no time, Alear and Kiran followed Queen Lumera as she led them deeper into the majestic Lythos Castle. The corridors seemed to whisper with ancient secrets as they made their way to a place known as the Ring Vault. The air grew heavy with anticipation, each step bringing them closer to the long-awaited reunion with the other Emblems.

As they reached the entrance of the Ring Vault, Lumera paused, her hand resting gently on the ornate door. She turned to Alear and Kiran, her eyes filled with determination.

"Beyond these doors lies the heart of our power, the Emblem Rings," Lumera spoke, her voice carrying a mix of excitement and reverence. "Prepare yourselves, for this shall be a momentous occasion."

With bated breath, Alear and Kiran exchanged glances, their hearts pounding with anticipation. The time had come to unlock the mysteries of the Ring Vault and embark on a journey that would shape the destiny of Lythos. Together, they pushed open the doors, ready to embrace the unknown and unlock the true potential of the Emblem Rings and the summoned Heroes.

End of Chapter

And there you have it! This is the second chapter of Emblems and Heroes!

Some of the exposition in this chapter are actually my own personal headcanons. I apologize if I get some details wrong, but this is an Alternate Universe crossover fanfic, after all.

And thanks to you readers, both from this site and in Discord channels, who helped me write this story.

And here's an extra scene, a Stinger of sorts...

Meanwhile, back in the World of Zenith, specifically, the Kingdom of Askr, Prince Alfonse, Princess Sharena, Commander Anna, and even Nifl Princess Fjorm gathered around the Summoning Altar in the Kingdom of Askr. The air crackled with anticipation as they waited for something extraordinary to happen. Suddenly, the Summoning Altar bathed the room in a blinding, radiant light, and a figure materialized before them. It was Marth, the legendary Altean Prince.

Alfonse hastened to break the silence, his voice laced with concern. "Marth, is Kiran alright?" He asked, his eyes searching for any signs of distress.

Sharena, always eager to join the conversation, chimed in with her own question. "Did you disappear from Askr because Kiran summoned you?" She asked, her voice filled with curiosity.

Marth nodded solemnly, confirming Alfonse and Sharena's inquiries. "Yes, in both accounts. Kiran managed to summon me to fight back against the enemies in that world," He replied, his voice steady and resolute.

Commander Anna, known for her quick thinking, voiced her worries.

"But the Outrealm Gate to the world that Kiran was sent to isn't ready yet," Anna exclaimed, a hint of distress evident in her words. "How are we going to rescue Kiran at this rate?"

The unexpected disappearance of Kiran and Marth from Askr had caught them off guard, and they were unprepared for the consequences.

At least Marth returned to the Kingdom of Askr safely, but it wasn't the same with Kiran himself. Everyone in the Summoning Altar grew worried that the Summoner that they held near and dear was lost in an unknown world.

Fjorm, the Nifl Princess, stepped forward, her eyes brimming with concern. "Marth, may I ask the name of the world that Kiran ended up in?" She inquired, her voice filled with a mix of urgency and curiosity.

Marth paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts before responding. "The world that Kiran has ended up in is named Elyos," he revealed, his voice carrying a weight of uncertainty. The name held an air of mystery, leaving them all wondering about the nature of this new realm.

"Elyos?" Fjorm repeated. "When the time comes that the Order of Heroes will be able to visit Elyos, we'll give our best effort to rescue Kiran there."

"I agree with that, Princess Fjorm," Sharena replied. "Let's hope that Kiran is doing alright in Elyos."

Meanwhile, Alfonse exchanged a worried glance with his sister and the rest of his companions, the gravity of the situation sinking in. Kiran, their trusted Summoner, had been transported to an unknown world, and they were left with more questions than answers.

Determination etched itself on their faces as they prepared to face the challenges that lay ahead. Their quest to bring Kiran back to Askr began, their hearts filled with a mixture of hope, uncertainty, and unwavering loyalty.
