The dense forest looked very dangerous and it made even the children of the scariest villains afraid. This is the forest of Neverland.
"You're walking too slowly."
Peter said to them, as he flew up and watched them from above.
"It must be because we're not flying."
Mal whispered low enough for only Evie to hear.
"You're pretty grumpy, huh? What villain's daughter are you?"
Pan actually found someone to tease. Just like he did with Captain Hook when he lived here.
"Maleficent."
For the first time in a long time, she felt proud to say her mother's name and took the opportunity to let her eyes shine.
"Let's go faster."
Peter said.
Within minutes they arrived at Pan's hideout. The place was still the same as it was in the books. At once, they threw themselves into the lair and fell into an underground place and what scared them completely wasn't the fact that they were below ground or that everything looked organized, but what scared them was seeing a bunch of children there, and the moment they appeared, the Lost Boys looked at them and they all appeared with swords in their hands.
"I can't believe I'm going to die at the hands of kids."
Carlos said and just like everyone else he was huddled against the wall.
"Not if it's up to me"
Mal said, his eyes darkening again.
"Hey! Calm down, they're friends."
Peter appeared to prevent an imminent disaster.
"Who are you?"
A red-haired boy with a few freckles on his face, half a meter tall and holding a sword bigger than him asked.
"Jay, Carlos, Evie, Mal and Rashid."
Son Jafar introduced himself, exhausted from having already done so.
"Jay and Carlos!
The children shouted and hugged the frightened boys.
"Okay, the first time was scary enough, now this was too much."
Carlos said, struggling to breathe because of the tight embrace.
"Guys, they're adults, now let go of them."
"Who are you?"
Evie asked, worried about the children.
"They're the Lost Boys, they live here."
"What? And their mother?"
She stopped to analyze the faces of the children alone.
"Look, this name is not allowed here." Peter said seriously. "You didn't come here for this. Where's Tinker Bell?"
"Inside."
One of the boys replied.
"Let's go then."
They all walked into the room and found a tiny, blonde fairy flying with her little wings.
"Peter, did you happen to see a little button that was here?" She asked the boy without realizing that there was more than one person there. "Peter, I..." She turned around, seeing all those people in her room. "Wow, it's not just Peter here."
"Tinker Bell, they're looking for you."
"Wow! I love your hair."
The fairy ignored Peter's words and walked over to Evie.
"Thank you?"
Evie answered her, afraid to see someone touching her blue hair as if it were an exotic animal.
"Tinkerbell, this is serious." Rashid, who was more hidden, said seriously, making everything go quiet and the fairy lose all playfulness. Tinker became serious and focused on him, who was the only person she knew. If she remembered correctly, hadn't seen Rashid for years.. "Agatha's back."
"What? How could they let that crazy, unreasonable, dangerous, stupid, clueless..."
When the magician said this, her face turned completely red.
"Tink."
Peter said, trying to calm her down.
"It's okay, I've calmed down." She spoke in her usual calm voice. "Peter, you'd better leave."
"What? Why?"
"Adult conversation."
"Okay, I'm out."
And Peter flew off in the direction of the Lost Boys.
"So, what do you want?" Tinkerbell stared at the people standing there. "Before, who are you people?"
"Is it me this time? Okay, Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos."
Carlos introduced himself this time, tired of doing it too.
"Agatha has returned and intends to destroy everything our world is based on."
Rashid said to her
"Magic dust?"
"Dust off your sentence."
Jay said.
"End magic? All magic?"
"Yeah, finish off all the magic."
Mal told her.
"And why did you come after me?"
"Do you know the prophecy of the apprentice?"
"Of course." She said thoughtfully. "What? Wait a minute! Impossible."
"The Fairy Hidden in the Earth who creates Life, she has pure magic, once fearless."
Rashid said the part of the fairy's prophecy that he already knew by heart.
"I'm the hidden fairy? Me?"
"Neverland? Child? Life? Hidden? I thought it was obvious."
Carlos spoke to his friends.
"And who is the apprentice?"
"I present to you Queen Maleficent Bertha Faery."
Rashid said, introducing Mal who was standing behind him.
"Hi."
She said, giving her a little wave.
"Ma... Ma... Maleficent? Queen Maleficent? I've been with Peter too long. I'm not going to teach magic to the most powerful villain in the world..."
"That's why I prefer Mal." The girl said, looking at Evie. "Look, my mother had great self-love and an even better sense of humor, but I'm not her, and for that matter, I'm not queen yet either."
"You're Maleficent's daughter? Really? How are you or will you ever be queen?"
"Yeah, things of life, and the royalty thing is, because I ended up marrying the king of Auradon, which was probably the reason for all this chaos."
Mal answered her with his unique sarcasm.
"Is the prophecy real? Like when the next heart finds a home..."
"Yeah, it's all real, including the part about the end of the world. So, are you going to help us?"
Jay asked, wanting answers.
(...)
Auradon
"Finally."
She hadn't been this happy since I came back to life. This "finally" was accompanied by a dangerous joy.
In the forest, on the darkest and gloomiest side hidden by trees and only the moon illuminating it. There was Ágatha's hut and house
"What's that?"
Chad asked, hiding behind a tree as he watched a curtain of smoke rise from where he was and take over the place.
"I call it home."
She replied, looking at the fearful prince.
Evil is coming...
