Summary:

There are some forms of alien activity even MIK turns a blind eye to. The truly alien activity between Chupataro and Ohdo Yuhi, for instance.

Chapter 80: Reversal of Ewekai and Mee~kai

The day following the Galaxy Cup Finals (or so it would appear). The day the Earth stood stupid.

Hey, hey? We've been all over Mutsuba Town! This is the last spot he could be hidin'!

Chupa. He must be here, then, chupa. Remember what we discussed, cabra.

Don't come out, no matter what! Got it! Damamu giggled, not fully apprehending the gravity of the situation.

Kuaidul left his make of the Relic. "You are…"

"Chupataro, chupa!"

"What a shame. Don't like the fictional world I created for you?"

"Crying from Chupa's ears wasn't a walk in the park, cabra!"

"But you aren't anymore. Why is that, I wonder?"

"How would Chupa know, chupa?" Chupataro acted like he didn't know. "It's not like Chupa came up with an out ahead of time, chupa!"

"I can't see through your eyes. You have Ohdo Yuhi's Earthdamar inside you. Don't you?"

"Yuhi's clever, chupa! He dreamt Damamu's possession might get around your tricks, chupa!" Chupataro dropped all pretense, his sclerae red and pupils starred.

"And what? You came here to brag in person?"

"Putting the Velgearian responsible for putting everyone through so much crap in his place sounded like a fun activity for Daddy-Damar Day, chupa!"

Daddy-Damar Day! WOO~! Yay-hey-hey!

"What can you accomplish? In that robot, you're definitely strong, but I am the lone proto-Karutumata! The prototype for all Velgearians! A race known for its strength and durability! You can't wound me!"

"Didn't Yudias and Yuhi wound you before, chupa? Psychologically?"

"What? That wasn't –!" Kuaidul's composure was fraying.

If Karutumata are essentially cards that think, chupa…This should do it, chupa! Damamu! Lend Papa your power, chupa! Chupataro thrust his robot's hand toward Kuaidul's chest. "EGIL VELGEAR GYURUDO!"

So self-assured was he in his untouchability, Kuaidul never saw a direct assault coming. Fire rampaged under Chupataro's fingertips, uncovering the spiralling purple space stuff of Kuaidul's heart.

Kuaidul yowled. Chupataro advanced despite the feedback, phasing his fingers into the Karutumata's soul galaxy. The ability to come back after death didn't confer a Velgearian freedom from pain. Kuaidul hadn't been in this much pain since the Creator departed and he ran after him, sealing away his –

"RRRRAAAAHH! RELEASE ME! OR I STOP OHDO YUHI'S HEART!"

"Ch-chupa!" Chupataro hesitated, Kuaidul's galaxy rebuffing him and leaving skid marks in the mud.

The galaxy Kuaidul was moulded after vanished back into him. Chupataro and Kuaidul bared their teeth at each other, each breathing heavily and despising the other's perseverance.

"Don't…get any more ideas. I can cut Ohdo Yuhi's strings whenever I wish!"

Chupataro… Damamu got scared.

"Dammit…Chupa will make you pay. Kuaidul!"

"Return to my space-time! You are my game pieces and shall bend to my will! If not…"

"Ch! If you wanted to kill Yuhi, you'd have done it already, chupa!"

"Begone!"

"Chupaaa…Chupa will go! But if you put words in Chupa's mouth, Chupa will put Chupa's HAND in your mouth, cabra!"

Kuaidul squeezed his chest. He was livid he was livid. Livid the heart he swore he sealed away had been worked up.

"They found me too easily. I'll find somewhere else."

"What's pam?" Damamu scrutinized the plate warily.

"Space ham, chupa."

"I'm not eating this! It's blue!"

"Uh oh. Yuhi, it's started, chupa."

"What has?"

"Damamu's terrible twos, cabra!"

"It's nothing, Chupataro. Just picky eating."

Was Yuhi's voice higher than normal?

"NOTHING? What'll we do if Damamu breaks bad, chupa?"

"You're one to talk."

"Parental abandonment is the reason Chupa turned out this way, chupa!"

Yuhi concentrated on fixing his hoverboard. "8mm divided by 3…is 4! Damamu, eat your pam."

"That's not divisible by 3, chupa."

"I won't! Yuhi's a baddie! He's Badhi!" Damamu refused.

"B-Badhi?"

"Damamu! Don't raise your voice to Mama like that, chupa!"

"No! No~! Papa will have to Rush Duel me to quiet me down!"

Everything was getting stranger by the second. Damamu didn't refer to Yuhi and Chupataro as "Mama" and "Papa," even if Damamu accepted that's who they were (which Damamu did).

Turn 88.

Yeah, strange. How was the Duel still going on on Turn 88 when this was a Rush Duel? Where you blitzed through your Deck!

"Magical Sheep Crossdresser Yuhi, where are you, chupa? Yuhi! Put on Meeeg-chan's outfit, cabra!"

"HAH? Why, all of a sudden?"

"This is totally weird, chupa! When Chupa tries remembering Magical Sheep Crossdresser Yuhi, all Chupa can think about is Yudias, chupa!"

"ARE YOU KIDDIN' ME RIGHT NOW?"

"Chupa needs to see you in Meeeg-chan's cosplay to remember, chupa! Then Chupa'll surely draw your card, chupa!"

Yuhi put on the costume and did the Copyko hair flip, and that was the straw that broke the 3-Hump Lacooda's back. Not the upside-down buildings, his voice like a toddler's, Yuamu's glasses, or Manya's gorilla hands…

It was the hair flip.

Jointech Nestrider Tank…Jointech Nestrider…Jointech…Jointech…Darkness Jointech Tyrant! It was back then! Kuaidul manipulated Phaser again to add the card to his Deck so I'd play it!

"Yuhi, believe Chupa, chupa! It's not Meeedias Chupa wants, cabraaa!" Chupataro cried out of his ears.

I doubt Kuaidul has anythin' to do with your crush on Yudias, but the cryin' out your ears is for sure Kuaidul's fault. Wait…How long has Kuaidul been doin' this? He had a hand in everything. He sent Zuwijo and Yudias to Earth in search of Rush Duels! He turned Nyandestar into a cat! Then Chupataro and I…Are our feelings –? No, there's no way! Get a grip! That was real! It was only since the Duel with Yudias that Kuaidul's been messin' with your head! Chupataro and I, we're –!

"I'll give Tamabot Burst Dragon an Egil Velgear! Tamabot attacks Chupataro directly!"

Beating up on Chupataro with Damamu was an outlet for working through daddy issues.

Kuaidul wouldn't admit it though.
