Bowsette: A New Life

Chapter 21

"This bad weather is-a getting worse." Luigi notes to himself as he walks around the Toad Town square under heavy storm clouds. Daisy was going to visit Peach soon and he wanted to be there to meet her when she arrived. As Luigi sat there waiting, he wondered how Mario's meeting with Bowsette was going. 'Maybe I should've gone with him. Bowsette had-a fiery temper at the best of times. What if…' Luigi is brought out of his thoughts by the telltale sound of a carriage arriving.

The clomp of hooves heralded the arrival of a royal, and Luigi recognized the telltale colors of the Sarasaland Kingdom. Luigi took his hat in his hand and stepped up to the side of the road as the carriage approached. "Luigi!" Daisy waved out the window and turned to the driver to order it to stop. As soon as the carriage came to a halt, the door opened, and someone launched out of the carriage like a missile.

Luigi of course had been expecting this and caught Daisy in mid-air. He couldn't even speak before Daisy wrapped her arms around him kissed him on the lips. "Mmm…" Daisy never was one to stand on ceremony nor beat around the bush. After a bit Daisy pulled away and licked her lips. "Yum… hey lover. I missed you." Luigi smiled and put Daisy down. "Oh really? I can't-a tell. Maybe I need a bit more proof." Luigi smirked.

Daisy didn't need the prompting, but she leaned in anyway. Just as the two were about to kiss again, a lightning bolt struck the ground just an inch next to them. "AAAAYAIII!" Luigi screamed. "Uh… um… We should probably get-a to the castle." Daisy nodded and the two boarded the carriage. "Driver, to Peach's Castle, on the double." The two of them were too rattled to resume what they had been doing.

The two watch the storm grow in intensity as they look out the window. "Wow. It's almost like-a that storm is angry or something." Daisy laughed. "Luigi, the sky can't be angry." Luigi smirks. "Angry Sun." Luigi said simply. "Okay, MOST of the sky can't be angry." Daisy chuckles. It wasn't long before the carriage reached the front door of Peach's Castle. The toad guards open the door and usher the two inside to seek shelter.

"Luigi! Daisy! You're here!" A familiar voice rings out. Princess Peach comes down the stairs from the second floor with a smile on her face. "Hey Princess!" Luigi waved and took Daisy's hand, making her blush. Peach glances out of a nearby window and sighs. "Looks like our tennis match will have to wait Daisy. Hopefully it'll clear up soon." Daisy nodded. "Chess and a meal?" She asked. "Of course!" Peach replied.

Luigi left the ladies to their own devices as they went upstairs. 'Weather is too bad to go-a home…' Luigi decided to take a seat in a chair nearby and catch a few winks, the girls would be busy for a good while. Luigi was just closing his eyes when the ground started to shake, he heard breaking glass and then the shriek of a woman. "LUIGI!" The green clothed plumber heard Daisy's scream and jumped to his feet.

"Bowsette." Mario tugged on the tattered remains of her fancy dress. "What is it Pasta Freak?" Bowsette said, focused on flying. "We've got-a go turn around. We've got-a go to the Mushroom Kingdom, check if things are alright." Mario said. "Well, I've got to check on my own Kingdom." Bowsette said dismissively. "The Koopa Kingdom can handle itself. You-a of all people should know how helpless the Mushroom Kingdom is."

Bowsette had to admit that Mario had a point. "That's not my concern." Bowsette scoffed. "My kingdom, my responsibility to make sure it's safe. Your second-rate Kingdom isn't my problem." Bowsette deflected. In truth, Bowsette was mostly worried about Kamek on the floor of the Copter right now. She couldn't admit that to Mario though. 'He'd think I'm going soft.' Bowsette thought. "Why you gotta be so-a mean all the time?" Mario asked. "What, did you think I'd be any different just because I think you're hot?" Bowsette gasped as she realized what she just said and Mario turned red. "A… Anyway!" She quickly tried to change the subject. "It's who I am plumber." Bowsette shot back. "Just like you can't help saving princesses even if they never put out for you."

Mario quickly shook off his embarrassment after that little tidbit, THAT got Mario's eyes narrowing. "Is that what-a you think? You think that's what-a it's all about?" Mario glowered. "If I wanted a girl for-a sex I could get one easy." Likely true, considering the man's fame it wouldn't be hard for Mario to find a girl. If it weren't for the assumption that he and Peach were together dissuading them Mario would probably have his mailbox stuffed full with love letters from girls every day. "Then why haven't you? Holding out for Peach still?" Bowsette grumbled. "No. Peach and I are-a over. We hardly even kissed. In fact, I've never…" The words got caught in his throat.

Bowsette turned and looked at Mario wide eyed. "You're a virgin!?" She said surprised. "Well, uh… yeah." Mario admitted. "Heh heh heh…" Bowsette couldn't help but chuckle. "Wow. Peach really screwed you up, didn't she?" This is probably the one time both versions of Bowsette plus Bowser would all have been in complete agreement. "What's so-a funny?" Mario's voice grew an edge to it.

"You! You're so noble and self-sacrificing all the time!" Bowsette's chuckles become more frequent and louder. "I've got Bowser Jr. at least. Plus my niece and 6 nephews! What have you got? A brother forever stuck in your shadow and a girl who never even wanted you!" Bowsette's laughter grows. "Stop-a it!" Bowsette is laughing so hard she's crying. "I… I… fizt… I would've never admitted it before, but I always thought I was the loser of the two of us, but you… you don't even have a life much less a girl!" Mario grunted. "We're-a turning around right now." Mario suddenly grabbed the controls.

Bowsette's laughter immediately died as she gasped. "What the fuck are you doing?! Do you even know how to fly this thing?!" Bowsette tried to take back the controls, but Mario was having none of it. As the two fought over control the Koopa Copter plummeted towards the ground. "Pull up! Pull up!" Bowsette screamed. Fruitless to say at this point, the Copter was completely out of control now. It dived toward the ground but before it could impact, it careened into a large green pipe and entered.
