Harry followed the voice. There Draco stood in the hospital wing. He know exactly what he needed to do. He has to stop the next attack before it happens, and he knows exactly how.
He goes back to the Slytherin dungeon, and to the second-year boys dorm. It's empty. Everyone's in the common room. He looks through Harry stuff, and he finally finds what he was looking for. The invisibility cloak.
He puts it on, and leaves the dungeons. He goes all the way up to Gryffindor tower. He stands in front of the Fat Lady portrait. He doesn't know the password. He did not think this far.
He stands there for a few minutes, thinking about how he's getting in, when he hears steps coming his way. It was McGonagall and Longbottom.
Longbottom was crying, and McGonagall was comforting him. When McGonagall left, and Neville went into the Gryffindor common room, Draco snuck after him. Unnoticed.
He went up to the first-year girls dorm, and closed the door behind him, but he wasn't alone. Ginny Weasley was there, standing alone, holding Tom Riddle's diary.
Draco took off the invisibility cloak, and pointed his wan at Ginny. She seemed startled to see him, and immediately raised her wand.
"Expelliarmus" Draco disarmed her. Her wand flew away.
"How did you get here? What are you doing here?"
"Give me the diary, Ginny." He demanded, before adding. "It's dangerous."
"I can't," she tears up. "I can't," she starts crying.
Draco recognizes her weakness and goes in to grab the diary, but she clenches hard to it, and they start fighting over it. Pulling it from both sides.
"Just. Let. Go." Draco let out through clenched teeth.
This goes on for five more minutes, before Draco is finally able to release the diary from Ginny's tight grip. He pulled too hard, and fell to the ground. Ginny fell too, but in the opposite direction. She took a few steps back, and fell, out the Gryffindor tower's window.
She's probably dead.
This is the end of year 2 :)
