Hello, everyone, and welcome back to "A Long Distance Ship"! Last time, Ash went through a lot as not only did Brock return to Ash's group, but he also caught Taillow and had an encounter with a poacher that (he didn't know) Team Rocket helped thwart. Anyways, this chapter is another multiple episodes in one chapter, as this covers AG007 and AG008. Anyways, enough talk, let's get going!

Subject: Another new Pokémon
Hey there, Mist! I captured another new Pokémon on my Hoenn team since we last talked to each other. The Pokémon in question was a Treecko, who I found caring for an old tree. Even though its friends knew it would die soon, this Treecko wasn't ready to give it up. I even helped (in vain) to try and gain Treecko's trust. And it seemed to work, as it helped me get two victories over Team Rocket. The first one was the night I met him, where Team Rocket managed to snatch all of the other Treecko and Pikachu! And because I didn't have Taillow on me at the time, (was off looking for my friends, I know, stupid) Treecko managed to save the day and beat James' new Pokémon, Cacnea, which I think he must have stolen from someone else. And this was BEFORE I officially caught him and made him my Pokémon. The following day, Treecko got hurt battling a wild Serviper and had to be taken to the Pokémon Center to rest up. But Treecko didn't rest, instead running off and trying to work on his Pound attack before we ran into Team Rocket again. It was then when we met a new member of Jessie's team, a Serviper. It was either the same Serviper from before or her Arbok evolved. It's most likely the former, but either way, by spinning while using the attack, Treecko was able to get revenge on the Pokémon who tormented him before. Anyways, that is what I have been up to since our last talk. I think it is a good idea for you to shift your team depending on your Pokémon, Mist. I am sure it will give the challengers a good challenge while still giving them a chance at victory. Good luck out there!
Ash.
PS: I don't think that Team Rocket could do something like that, Misty. Stopping a poacher who has a pseudo legendary in Tyranitar while they have Pokémon that routinely lost to our teams in Kanto, the Orange Islands, and Johto?!

Hey Ash, congratulations on getting another new Pokémon. Even though it isn't a Water-type, I think that out of the three Hoenn starters, Treecko looks like the most "you". And I am not the only one who thinks that, as Togepi seems to have a similar sentiment to what I am thinking. Anyways, as the day for the start of the gym challenge season draws closer and closer, I have to get my gym ready for trainers. It is tough, but I am sure I will get it done. Anyways, good luck, Ash!
Misty
And that is it for this chapter, folks! Ian commented yet again, commenting on the fact that Ash couldn't get to a computer to talk with Misty regularly and Misty's (correct) speculation that the TRio were the ones that helped against Rico, even if Ash doesn't believe that they were able to do so. Anyways, he added this story to his favorites list since the previous upload. HarryAndGinnyForeverAndEver added this story to their following list. And firestorm100 and sweetbaby162016 both favorited AND followed the story (and I am sorry for not mentioning you last chapter, firestorm, but I couldn't add your name before I uploaded the chapter). Anyways, if you want me to give you a shoutout, make sure to favorite, follow, and/or review this story, it shows you care and motivates me to keep on going. I will see you all on Monday for the next chapter, so have a good day until then!
