Hello, everyone, and welcome back to another chapter of "A Long Distance Ship"! In the last chapter, Ash and his friends went through the events of the sixth Pokemon film: Jirachi the Wish Maker. It was a pretty big chapter, but now we are heading back to smaller chapters as season 6 starts to wind down. What will happen today? Well, read on to find out!

Subject: Saving Nurse Joy
Hey Misty, we have reached the next Pokémon Center and are back on track towards Mauville City! When we arrived at the Pokémon Center, we saw that Nurse Joy wasn't there for some strange reason… Pikachu went to go and investigate before we both ended up breathing in some Sleep Powder! When we woke up, we decided to investigate the security cameras, and saw that a Shiftry came in, knocked Nurse Joy out cold with the help of some other Pokémon, and took her away! Brock thought she was in danger, and decided that we should go and rescue her. (I think that he just wants her to be with him, and that is why he is doing this.) Anyways, a lot of Pokémon tried to stop us from reaching Nurse Joy, but it wasn't until later that we found out that Nurse Joy wasn't in any danger at all from these wild Pokémon. She was just taken by Shiftry because one of his friends was sick and needed help. And they couldn't just bring him to the center because… reasons… Anyways, Nurse Joy had some things she needed back at the center, and Shiftry carried Brock all the way back. Brock ended up screaming like a little girl all the way back to the center, definitely not helping with his goal of getting her heart. Anyways, we are currently all back at the center, and Nuzleaf is getting better. Mauville City is coming up, and with that my third gym badge! Wish me luck!

Hey there Ash! Glad to hear that you and your friends are back on the road to Mauville City. While I can understand why Brock was concerned that Nurse Joy may be in danger with all of the wild Pokémon around, I feel like he was sort of a little bit too into her. I would have loved to see him screaming like a little girl in person. I am chuckling while I am writing this down, Ash. The image is THAT funny. Anyways, stuff has been doing pretty well at the gym, challengers have been coming and going for badges. Speaking of badges, I hope you win your third one once you get to Mauville City!
