Hello, everyone, and welcome back to another chapter of "A Long Distance Ship". Last time, Ash and his friends have arrived in Mauville City after some more adventures, and now, he is going to challenge Wattson for his third gym badge! Will he manage to win? Well, if you watch the episode, you already know how the gym battle goes and how it sent gym battles all the way back to 1997. Anyways, this is the final chapter covering events from the sixth season, and I have a major announcement for you all at the end of the story! Now let's get going!

Hey Misty… I just had my gym battle with Wattson… and even I have to admit, this is my worst gym battle since the Kanto Region. The entrance to Wattson's gym was set up like an amusement park ride, which shocked May, Max, Brock, and I. But the finale gave the biggest shock of them all, particularly to Pikachu. You see, it ended with a Raikou robot which supercharged Pikachu and gave me an unfair advantage. Pikachu didn't help me in beating Wattson. He helped me HUMILIATE Wattson. Three Pokémon (Magnemite, Voltorb, and Magneton), all knocked out in a single shot to an attack they resist. When Pikachu felt unwell after the victory, I knew that the whole battle was a mistake. Wattson ended up running off, not wanting to be the gym leader anymore after what I had done, but we managed to catch up to him near the city's abandoned Power Plant. We discussed what happened after dealing with Team Rocket, and I tried to give Wattson the Dynamo Badge that I got from him back. But Wattson said I could have it, and challenged me to a rematch when he gets his new Pokémon, an Electrike, trained up. I accepted, and I plan on rematching Wattson when (and if) we return to Mauville City. Anyways, we are heading out tomorrow, and I hope to speak to you soon.

Hey Ash, glad to hear that you have won your third gym badge in the Hoenn region, even if Wattson accidently gifted you the battle. I am also proud to hear you admit it was a fluke, something that your 10-11 year old self would never do, as more than half of your badges were won by questionable means. Anyways, life at the gym is going good. Casey decided to come and visit the gym today, and we got a letter delivered by a Pelipper. Anyways, the letter told us to meet the sender at the lighthouse. We soon met the sender, and it turns out he was a secret admirer of mine who wanted to take me out to the Electabuzz/Starmies game that was happening tonight. I agreed to go if I lost a battle. I wasn't really interested in going, but Casey sure was. After a brief interruption from Cassidy and Biff of Team Rocket, we got to battle: my Corsola against his Delcatty. Delcatty was a tough opponent, but Corsola managed to pull through and win me the battle. Casey then stepped up to the plate to battle Georgio, as she wanted one of the tickets. Even though her Elekid lost to his (weakened) Delcatty, he decided to take her out to the ball game anyways because of her passion and helping him get Delcatty back from Team Rocket. Maybe it will become something more soon ;) Anyways, talk to you later, Ash

Hey, Misty. We are, like, almost complete with our tour and almost ready to come back to the gym. We have heard that you are, like, doing a really good job taking care of the gym, and thought that you would like a little break. So, we are, like, inviting you on the last leg of our trip on Lake May in the Hoenn Region. If you are concerned about the gym, we, like, contacted a friend of ours and asked if he could look after the gym for us for a couple of days. He agreed, and he should be there soon. We also sent you tickets to get to where we are, so we will expect you soon!
Your Sensational Sisters
And that is it for Chapter 26 (and Season 6) of "A Long Distance Ship". We have just got the announcement that Ash and Misty will reunite (for a while), but unfortunatley, it will have to wait. Because, you see, I plan on taking a break with "A Long Distance Ship". Now before you all get angry, let me explain WHY...
1. SO I CAN WATCH THE SEVENTH AND EIGHTH SEASONS: "A Date With Delcatty" already threw a Mankey wrench into my plans of how I wanted Misty to return for "The Misty Chronicles", and I didn't know about it until I watched the episode. To make sure it doesn't happen again, I plan on watching at least the 7th season all the way through so I know what is coming and when Ash will be able to talk to Misty. A part of why the Dewford Island Training arc was so painful to write for is because he was so far away from the center (and thus, a computer) for so long.
2. SO I CAN FOCUS ON THE MISTY CHRONICLES: If you have been reading this story, you know I have been mentioning another project I am working on called "The Misty Chronicles". It will focus on what Misty is doing while Ash is away on his journey, and is an extention of the "Pokemon Chronicles" season of the actual show. It will feature rewrites of Misty's episodes from that season, as well as entirely new ones featuring characters from the first five seasons. The problem: I haven't gotten around to writing them yet, but I am working on them with Season 6 complete. The first bunch of Misty Chronicles will go from "Cerulean Blues" to a special two chapter story I plan on putting in place of the Mirage Kingdom arc.
Thank you all for understanding why I am doing this. I promise, "A Long Distance Ship" will return, so keep your follows (or follow the story) so you will be the first to know when Season 7 starts up! Favoriting and reviewing also helps in showing me you support my story! You guys have pushed this story to 7,000 views, and CrystalDragonBlade is the lucky person to be the 40th to press the "Follow" button! I will see you all when chapter 1 of "The Misty Chronicles" comes out! So until then, take care, everyone!
