Hello, everybody, and welcome back to "A Long Distance Ship"! It has been a long time since Season 6 ended (April 7th), and Season 7 is just around the corner, and with it, more emails between our favorite trainers from Pallet Town and Cerulean City! This chapter here is a little preview chapter of the "Advanced Challenge" arc of the story, as well as a way to connect ALDS with the upcoming chapter of the Misty Chronicles. Hey Ash! I have some good news! My sisters have finally given me a small break from running the gym for a while so I can join them on the last leg of their vacation! They had one of our friends from the Johto region, Coastline Gym Leader Dorian, take over while I am away, so that means I can potentially see you! By the time you read this, I should already be at Lake May, so I expect to see you soon!

Hey, Misty! I am happy to hear your sisters are finally giving you a break from the gym so you can potentially come and see me in the Hoenn region (May, Max, Brock, and I are in the Lake May area, too)! I have been through so much since our last email that I want to talk to you about. We decided to head to Fallarbor Town for May's next Pokemon Contest after last talking to you. We stumbled upon a watermelon patch soon after where I taught a had a double battle and taught a new move to one of my Pokemon. That wasn't the only battle I had as we met a family who loved battling, so Brock, May, Max, and I had a little four vs four against them (Max using my Corphish to battle against the youngest member of the family). They showed us so many cool Pokemon like Camerupt during the battles. Speaking of cool Pokemon, we ended up meeting a trainer teaching her Bagon to fly, and I ended up battling with her as Team Rocket gave Bagon its first taste of flying which it will get after evolving again. Anyways, I am happy to hear that you are coming to see me, Misty. I canot wait to see each other after being apart, even if it is for a short time. :)

In two weeks, the reunion you have all been waiting for is coming in two weeks in "The Misty Chronicles", so make sure you favorite and follow THAT. And after that, I will be taking a one week break before Season 7 releases its regular schedule of one chapter on Monday and one chapter on Friday.
