Gilbert looked at the direction that he was pointing and saw Anne walking arm in arm with Diana, not yet noticing him He wanted to run to her and thought he just might until he saw something. Her expression changed into an even happier one and let go of Diana’s arm to greet someone. Someone else. Another man. Shirbert fanfic. (VERY open to constructive cricitism)

27. She

Wow. It's been years.

Did I think I was ever going to come back to this? Sure, there was a brief time I thought I would. Then life happened. I started this as a sophomore in high school during covid. Now I'm a freshman in college. What can I say? Life.

So, I decided I'd keep doing it and let me tell you, it's been a BLAST. I'm five pages into the next chapter and I'd forgotten about how fun it is to imagine the ending of the story that was stolen from us. Now, I'm definitely RUSTAY. I haven't done any kind of writing since I let this story go. But I'm having a lot of fun, and I hope you'll enjoy it.

Now, please bear with me and remember, I'm a freshman in college now. Life is even more hectic than before. I can't promise I won't ditch the story again, but I can promise I will keep trying to come back. As long as you promise to always give feedback, positive or negative.

I'm sure a lot of my readers have moved on as I did, hopefully there will be new ones that'll enjoy my story.
