Chapter 1: a new god, a new underworld.

Kratos, the once spartan warrior, once the new God of war, once the Champion of the gods, but that went downhill when he was betrayed by, Zeus the king of Olympus... but no more, Kratos has got his revenge for all the gods that cost him his life to become the monster. He has become that every land, that every God has heard of him the,

ghost of Sparta.

(80 A.D.)

(Mount Olympus)

Kratos was looking at destruction at the distance of land, that was once Greece. but now it's just Apocalypse the end of the world because of his action in killing all the gods in his homeland.

"you have done well, Kratos" said Athena, floating towards Kratos "Freed from the bondage of Olympus and cleansed in chaos, mankind is now ready to hear my message"said Athena.

"look around you, Athena!"said Kratos while looking at her "The world stands in ruin! What good is your message?"said Kratos while walking away.

"Go if you must.But first, I insist you give me the power from inside the Box."said Athena

Kratos stop walking"The Box... was empty."said Kratos with having strange blue, flaming eyes.

"That can't be true." Said Athena while in front of Kratos "I can see it in your eyes. You used my power to kill Zeus. You still have it as we speak! Don't you understand? When Zeus gathered all the evils and placed them in the Box, I dreaded what would happen if it was opened again. And so, I summoned the most powerful weapon in the world, and I placed it in the Box.

"I told you! It was empty" said Kratos furiously but turn to sorrow "Pandora was sacrificed in vain. She died, because of my need for vengeance."Said Kratos.

"You must be mistaken. You used my power to kill Zeus. I saw you do it... unless..." said Athena to correct Kratos, but it finally hit her "Of course! When you opened the Box, you released the evils to the gods. Infected them. Changed them. Zeus himself fell prey to the dark evils. This is why he became so enraged and obsessed with your death. He was consumed by the evil Fear. I thought the power I placed in the Box was never released. All these years, I assumed you drew from the evils inside to destroy Ares. But I was wrong. The power you took from the Box is mine. From it, you gained the strength that Zeus could never destroy. A strength great enough to overcome Fear. Locked deep inside of you, Kratos... is Hope."Said Athena after figuring out everything that happened. after all those years.

Kratos while looking at his hand, which it was has blue flames on his hand same one where he beat Zeus with his bare hands.

"It has remained buried, trapped by your guilt and the failures of your past. When you killed Zeus, you must have allowed something to awaken it. What was it, Kratos?" Said Athena trying to help Kratos of the power he awakened.

"Hope is what makes us strong! It is why we are here! It is what we fight with when all else is lost" said Pandora in Kratos memories.

"What was it, Kratos?" Said Athena curiously.

"All I remember is what I have lost." Said Kratos of that what he remembers.

"That is why you should give me the power. I understand its true meaning and where it belongs. I trust you to do the right thing, Kratos." Said Athena, trying to convince Kratos that the power of hope belongs to her.

"You shouldn't."said Kratos that he wasn't convince. and kneeling down to grab the blade of Olympus.

"You owe me this, Kratos." Said Athena angry.

"I owe you nothing!" Said Kratos in rage swiping the blade of Olympus off the ground preparing to smite Athena down.

"I made you a god! I sheltered you from the wrath of Olympus! I delivered your revenge on Zeus--!"said Athena trying to convince Kratos but she was interrupted by Kratos.

"It is over, Athena." Said Kratos that he's done with the gods and done with his vengeance.

"You would dare strike me down? Again?!" She said not believing that her own half brother is going to struck her down once again.

"My vengeance... ends now." Said Kratos ready to strike Athena or so she thought.

"No!! / Kratos, no! / You can't! / How could you?!" said Athena bag to Kratos?

Kratos swings the Blade, but instead of striking Athena, he turns it towards himself and plunges it through his own body

"You fool! What have you done?! NOOO!!"said Athena horrified of what Kratos has done

The power of Hope bursts free from Kratos and into the world to give to people of Greece and the world, a chance of rebuilding.

"That was meant for me! They will not know what to do with it!" Said Athena while approaches Kratos and pulls his head up " You... disappoint me, Spartan." Said Athena.

Kratos gives one last defiant grunt; Athena pulls the Blade out of him and leaves him and the Blade lying in a pool of blood Kratos has draw his last breath.

(A unknown place)

Kratos open his eyes. And he saw light red orange sky. He was confused, but he got up quickly. He look around. and he was at some mountain area.

"what... where am I what trickery is this?"said Kratos he look around. To see surroundings in which surprise him was with his weapons from all the gods he killed. And now it's here but it was fix like someone has fixed Kratos weapons and of course he's original blades the blades of chaos but now he's with him somehow and the Blade of Olympus is now with him, but the most confusing thing that the blade of Olympus has the olympian Magic back somehow

he look up at the sky and want to shock him. The most was two planet. One with the pentagram on it, and the other has a halo which means Kratos has enter a another underworld but this one is different from the underworld he remember back in his homeland

Kratos saw something familiar and it was Athena smiling at Spartan

"what do you do Athena!? Where am I!?" Said Kratos, furious and ready to strike "answer to me, Athena" said Kratos still furious

"do you see spartan? Welcome to the true underworld, " said Athena while smiling " and to answer your question Spartan that God has cursed you spartan" said Athena

"impossible! how can the gods curse me! when they're dead! and I...am ...dead" said Kratos trying to figure out

"you see spartan when you died the gods made one last curse to make you suffer one last. Time you're soul. went to another version of the underworld, and this place is much different from the underworld that you were remember" said Athena

"get to the point, Athena" said Kratos

"very well i'll get to the point you see the gods had a original had a plan if you successfully kill all of the gods and you will kill yourself to end the nightmares of your past sins and with that they will make you immortal that you will not kill yourself and with that the blades, the same blades that you killed your wife and daughter, the blades of chaos it will stick to you for all eternity down here... in... hell" said Athena before disappearing.

"no... Noo!.. NOOO!?" Kratos scream to the heavens.

I hope you readers like it took a while but I got done. It's gonna be more chapters to it, and let's see how Kratos can handle this version of the underworld.
