ReallyKing01: Yeah, I was going for something like that. He can be as carefree and almost cocky as Dante, but when he gets serious, he's like Vergil. I'm trying to blend both as subtle references to them since they don't exist.

Everyone back at the Occult Room was cheering that Drake had been victorious, even Sona and her Peerage at the Sitri Mansion were happy for the son of Sparda winning the duel. In Heaven, Gabriel was mentally smiling as the projection screen started to disappear. Back in the other dimension, the area around the two started to glow and two different transportation circles formed under Drake and Riser, leaving the damaged dimension behind as it started to crumble and destroy itself. Drake found himself back in the Satan's Room, with Grayfia, Sylvia and Sirzechs standing in front of him, though Riser was nowhere to be seen.

"Congratulations on your victory, Drake." Sirzechs said as he gave Drake a smile, while the battle had been a little one-sided, it was still an entertaining match to see. And now they, as well as the Underworld and the other Factions, now knew the capabilities of the son of Sparda. "The House of Gremory and the House of Phenex have accepted the results of the duel, though there might be some issues later on."

"I'd be surprised if there wasn't. So, where is Riser?" Drake asked while wondering where the man had been sent to.

"His transportation circle took him back to his estates so he could properly recover." Grayfia answered making Drake nod in understanding, he did say that himself. "The House of Sitri have also ceased their projections to the other families."

Drake nodded his head again, "I'm going to need to thank Sona again for doing that for us… So what now?"

"There are a few questions that I would like to ask you…" Sirzechs replied with a serious expression, which stayed for a few seconds before going back to his usual cheerful self. "But that can wait for another time, why don't you go and enjoy your victory. You'll need it for the attention you're about to get in the days to come."

Sylvia sighed and shook her head at her husband. The man definitely knew how to go about things in a casual manner, and it was good at times but sometimes it was just aggravating.

"Now, before you go back to my sister's headquarters, there's three guests waiting to see you outside this room." Sirzechs said, gesturing to the closed doors. Drake gave him a confused look before walking over and pushing the doors open, passing through, only to be surprised when he saw three familiar faces.

"Hey Drake!" Xuelan smiled at the half-Devil as she stood along with Yubelluna and Karlamine.

Drake couldn't help but smile back as he approached. "Never thought I'd honestly see you three again after our first meeting, though after what Riser had to say... I grew worried about you three."

"You're sweet." Xuelan said with a blush that was shared by Karlamine and Yubelluna. "But we're glad that you won."

"Indeed." Yubelluna nodded with a beautiful smile. "When you put us free as your condition in fighting Riser... we were filled with hope. Trust us, we've wanted out of Riser's peerage for a long time. At first... we thought we had found a family with everyone in the Phenex Household, in Riser's Peerage... but we were used as nothing more than sex slaves to satisfy him when he was in the mood. Even when we weren't he'd..." Yubelluna inhaled deeply then exhaled.

Drake held a hand up. "You don't have to say anything else about it. I think I get the gist. Riser's one of those Devils who treats anyone he thinks lower than him like trash and garbage, has his way with women and tosses them aside. He's basically the type of creature I'd put down in a heartbeat. He's just as worse as the demons I slay. But, you three are free now."

"Not just yet." Karlamine shook her head. "We still have to get the pieces inside us removed, and then we'll be independant Devils Afterwards... we're not sure. That's something we have to decide amongst ourselves. Maybe go on a journey of self-discovery."

"That's so cliche." Xuelan shook her head before smiling at Drake. "Again, we thank you."

Drake smiled and nodded at them, then bid them farewell before going back inside the room where Sirzechs, Sylvia and Grayfia were waiting for him.

"Done?" Sirzechs asked with a smirk, getting a look from Drake. "Suppose you better get back, I can tell the others can't wait to see you. Especially Rias."

Nodding his head, Drake did a small bow to the three before summoning a magic circle. "Thank you for all you've done, Grayfia, Sylvia, Sirzechs."

"You can call me big bro-" Drake had already teleported away before Sirzechs could finish.

"He's your godson and you want him to call you big brother?" Sylvia asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well, he is going to become my brother-in-law in the future." Sirzechs pointed out, causing her to sigh and shake her head in amusement. "Bet he's not going to get used to having godparents, less of the fact that it's us."

"He's been his whole life without us, I'm certain we won't mind letting him keep to that. But we should show that we're there for him whenever he needs it. There is a reason Sparda and Eva chose us to watch out for him should anything happen to them." Sylvia said, getting another nod from her husband who made his way back to his seat. Sylvia then grinned as she turned to Grayfia. "Oh 'Fia, you do know what this all means, don't you?"

Grayfia gave her sister an annoyed look before sighing. "Yes, I do. I know our traditions, and that I owe Sparda a life debt. You're asking me to serve that debt by staying with Drake, aren't you?"

"Maybe a little more than stay with him~" Sylvia giggled, getting a narrowed-eyed glare in response. "Oh come on! You need to get a guy, sister. And Drake's quite handsome, that I think he's going to have multiple women after him, not just Rias."

"..." Grayfia just turned away, choosing to not say anything less her sister uses that to tease her any further.

Sylvia giggled again before seeing the expression on her husband's face as he stared at the wall. "What is it, dear?"

"The reveal of the son of Sparda... and the appearance of the Welsh Dragon, who is my sister's Pawn. It's almost as if it's a sign that something big is going to happen soon." Sirzechs commented as he leaned back in his chair.

(Occult Research Clubroom)

Everyone turned their heads as a transporter circle appeared and with a flash, Drake appeared. He raised his hand in greeting, "Hey guys, you enjoy watching the fight?"

One of his first answers was from Rias as she leaped at him and wrapped arms around his neck, the force of her sudden jump made Drake take a few steps back and spin the two of them once before he regained his balance. The Gremory heiress pressed her lips against Drake's for a firm and passionate kiss, which the half-Devil was happy to respond to. They slowly parted from each other and Rias rested her head against his chest, "I knew you would win."

"Of course, was there any doubt?" Drake replied as he smiled down at the girl, before feeling more arms wrap around him, making him look to see... Raynare? Kalawarner? And Akeno?

"Congratulations, Drake." Akeno said before quickly placing a kiss on his cheek, much to Rias' annoyance. "That was an exciting fight you pulled, especially with how much you played around with Riser, fufufu."

"Quite a thrashing." Raynare agreed, placing a kiss on Drake's other cheek, nearly touching his very lips while Kalawarner delivered a kiss to the other side, near the corner of his lips.

"Best fight I've ever watched. It was better than cable." The blue-haired bombshell agreed.

"What was that?" Rias asked the ladies with a twitching eyebrow.

"What was what?" Akeno, Raynare and Kalawarner feigned ignorance as they and Rias stared at each other.

One by one, everyone congratulated Drake on his victory, before they all started to celebrate both the win and the House of Sparda's debut. Drake sat with Rias on the couch, holding her close with his arm around her waist while she snuggled happily against his side. The two looked at each other and smiled lovingly.

"I love you." Drake said softly.

Rias' smiled turned softer. "I love you too."

And they shared a kiss while everyone cheered and clapped for them. Outside the room, a black cat was watching the scene silently before turning around and hopping off the windowsill.

'He's definitely a strong one, nya!' The black cat thought as she began to walk away...

Yeah, first short chapter in a long while. And we all know who that black cat is. Like I said, she'll pop up here and there. So, that's the Riser arc concluded along with the season 1 portion of this story. Next, we shift into season 2 stuff with the beginning of the Holy Sword/Kokabiel arc.
