Chapter 4

The first night was amazing.

Yua slept like a log for the first time in a long time! In fact, when she woke up, she felt so refreshed, she could take on the world. Gojo… was still out cold. Snoring to beat the band, and yet, he appeared to finally have a good night's sleep. "You hardly slept when you were Sukuna size…" she said with a snicker.

She changed out her robe and slippers for fresh ones. According to the scroll she read last night, if she wants something to eat, she merely has to think about it and open her hotel door. It will bring her right to the dining hall.

"One of the many perks about this hotel is if you know where you wish to go, merely think it, and your room will take you there. The same method can be used to return to your hotel room. Merely put your hand on the wall and think of your suite, the door will appear." She read. Yua tried it for the first time, and thought of the dining all. When she opened the door, she was then and there at a large buffet style meal. "Ooo, this is a good perk," she said.

When she stepped out and closed the door, it vanished! She wondered if she should have woken Gojo to join her for breakfast?

Either way! The buffet was calling!

Everything was exquisite.

Yua couldn't get the food into her mouth fast enough. It was so fresh, sweet and firm. None of the fruit tasted off, slimy or soft. In fact, the food acted the way she wanted it to be, from texture to flavor… it was odd.

"Nothing was off tasting, granted this is a hotel, but at the same time…"

"Oh, are you not familiar with the facilities?"

She jumped a little to the strange voice, yet as she peered up there was a gentleman with black wings looking to her. "Are you a tengu?" she asked.

He snickered and laughed. "Indeed, I doubt you can see but I have a young face, nothing like my father's… yet…" he said offhandedly. "Are you dining alone?"

She nodded. "I came with my husband who is passed out currently." She explained.

"Oh, I should have known a lady like you would be married. Then again, it's strange for mortals to come around and enter this place… you must be someone particular…"

She smiled and shook her head. "I doubt I am anyone of interest, I think this is just good luck on my part."

"I see, well, you enjoy yourself miss. Oh, and if you husband won't pay attention to you… I certainly will."

"Keep moving or I'll pluck your wings where you stand."

The tengu froze. Slowly, he turned and was stared down by Sukuna. "Move" he ordered.

He ran out of there as fast as he could.

Yua was taken aback by it all. "Best avoid tengus." Sukuna said to her. "They tend to… get a little out of hand, specially when drunk."

"Okay, how do you know all of this?" Yua asked. "I mean, this is divine realm stuff here…"

"I've been reading up when I was hiding from Chusi when I my body was repossessed… I suppose swapped is the better term. I thought it would be best to know divine creatures, their nature and possible weaknesses."

She merely nodded.

Sukuna however was eating a savory feast, but still had a few sweets on the side. "I miss meat!" he decreed.

"You still ate meat when you were human…" she said.

"But not as much as I would like to. I kept craving sweet treats, sweet food, sweet candy… UGH!" he looked ill at the thought of it all. "Don't humans get something called diabetes?"

"Yes, and luckily, you only had sweets for a little while, you didn't have them your whole life… where Chusi?"

"She started before me." He muttered. "She ate early and decided to look over the facilities. I think she is seeing the alternative time line one or something…"

Yua paused. "Are you really going to rematch yourself possessing Megumi, fighting and killing my husband and commenting on it all?" she asked bluntly.

"Yes, as soon as I learned I could… it was all I could think about!"

She rolled her eyes to it all. "I just don't get it at times…"

"Get what?"

"Sorcerers in general. I mean, when I dashed your dream about being the strongest sorcerer around and the backlash it was to kill everyone… you already knew that before, didn't you?" she questioned.

Sukuna paused from eating, before nodding his head. "If that's the case, why did you appear so devastated when it came out of me?"

He sneered.

Well, at least that part of him is coming back.

She didn't think he would answer him, until he said. "Because it reminded me of something."

This time, she paused to his words. "Oh?"

"Mother Tooru." He simply said, but didn't elaborate farther. Yua began to wonder more and more about her… but, now she has a chance to see who she really was! Perhaps she ought to look into those reality rooms…
