Chapter 6
Yua's question, answered.
#
Her family stood in the airport, however kept close together. "Shin…" her father whispered.
He peered about the lobby. "Six of them," he muttered. "All from the council, they have that odor to them…"
"Should have known they would have followed us…"
"Dad… may I?"
Shin got permission and began to make his move. If there was one thing Yua wouldn't admit, despite her skills, Shin was at least seven times stronger than herself. And that strength grew from the battle they had with curses.
She watched in aw as he went around and took out those from the council with ease. Despite his young age, he was able to knock them down and out. "I have to speak with your sister on those pressure point lessons…" Yua heard her mother whisper.
"I am certain she would be more than happy to show you. She ought to bring that student of hers with her. She never shuts up about him."
With the council taken out, they met up with Yua's uncle who explained that he found the dragon. They were going to save it in a few days, but had to be certain everything was prepared and ready. Then, her uncle turned to her. He reached down and saw it around her neck. "You have it now?" he asked gently.
It was the pendent her mother gave her just a while ago. It was a massive fang, but apparently an heirloom to the Tooru family. "I merely wore it since I was the closest thing to…" but her mother stopped. She never explained what the pendent did or what it was for. However, it was a treasure in the family.

Releasing the dragon…
There was a lot more too it than she realized.
Her uncle found the dragon in the salt mines of the mountain, he knew it was the dragon, Ryujin since he resonated with it. "The dragon knows and acknowledges our family, he is aware we are coming to help. But we have to be certain everything is in place."
Yua and her family were taken into the mines where they saw the dragon trapped within the pink salt. However, Yua froze as she felt something off. "Uncle…" she said gently.
He merely nodded to her. "Ryujin has a powerful curse surrounding him. Needless to say we accounted for this too." Her uncle stated, and yet… that look on his face.
"You can't be serious!" her father protested. "There HAS to be…"
"I am aware that there are other methods we can use, at the same time, we don't have much of it. Brother… for I also found this in the cave as well…" he revealed a small pink box forged of salt. Her father opened it just enough but froze to it. "So, that's happening soon as well…"
"If we are to prepare…"
"I… I understand…"
"Don't be sad brother, this is what we have been searching for our whole lives, as Toorus!" he said. "Besides, there is no greater honor… but first, we have to do a ceremony."
Yua was too young to know what was happening, but her uncle said an incantation, and placed his hand on Yua's head. He smiled to her and said. "I am trusting you to take care of a friend of our family, a guardian. At the same time, he is going to have to tell you something as well, something very serious and only you can stop it."
She only nodded her head as her uncle turned to the family. She didn't know why they were all crying… until he place his hand on the salt that contained the dragon…
He died instantly… just as the salt prison began to crack…

Years passed.
Before long, Shin was wondering about the city, when he noticed something. A curse was lingering and then… suddenly pulled and vanished. "Ooo, I saw something cool…" he muttered.
He had just turned 14, his body has fully adapted to heavenly restrictions and he can see curses with ease. But, he wasn't interested in the curse. Instead, he saw a fellow teenager but he slipped into the alleyway. Shin followed but paused when he heard an unpleasant sound.
The teen turned, as he swallowed an orb. "Oh, you got to do THAT huh?"
"Who… who are you!"
He smiled. "Shin, you can call me Shin. You?"
The scent of this teen was that of a curse, it was strong and yet, he understood why. After all, this guy consumes them.
"Geto," he said defiantly. "What's your family name?"
"It doesn't matter, but I was interested in your technique, curse tamer?" he asked.
"I am… how did you…"
"I saw what you did, at the same time, your technique isn't really working out for you either… must taste horrible huh? I could smell it from here, if a curse smells as bad as they taste than man, I pity you"
Geto was taken aback. "Shin, was it?" he asked skeptically.
"Indeed,"
"How did you know about that? For that matter, I don't smell curses!"
He smiled to him. "Ah, well, that… you see… I actually have heavenly restrictions. It runs in my clan, we're OPed in one form or another. Be it physical strength or technique…"
"You're human?" Geto asked.
"More or less, does it matter?"
Geto appeared conflicted, but his guard lowered. "Are you here to harm me?"
"Not in the least bit" Shin said and smiled. "I was wondering, if your technique is bothering you… flavor wise… my family could help with that. We won't alter how you tame curse spirits, but it will be a LOT easier on you to do so. Are you interested?"
He was curious, and yet, he still didn't appear trusting of Shin. "How do I know this isn't a trap? I have met many sorcerers who have been lured out into battles for the sake of power. How can I trust you?"
Shin sighed and yet forced a smile. "In four years, you are going to be in charge of taking care of the star plasma vessel, are you not? For the merger is to occur within that time. Not to mention, a sorcerer from the Gojo clan has been born with both limitless and six eyes ability… meaning the vessel merger is to take place within this generation."
Geto froze.
"I was only told of this yesterday at school…"
"My family keeps track of these things. So, that being said. We can tell you much more about it, and assist in your technique if you are interested. I promise, no one in my family will harm you."
There was a look of temptation, but Geto agreed. "On one condition, tell me your clan name." he ordered.
Shin smiled and nodded. "Tooru," he said.
Geto's eyes widened. "Led the way,"

Time would continue to pass.
Before long, it was time for the star plasma vessel event. However, things were a little different.
One, they were not being stalked by the sorcerer killer. If anything, he was there… to ensure things went smoothly. Second, Shin Tooru and his sister, Yua, assisted them. Lastly, they made certain the merger didn't occur.
Geto himself was stunned as to how it all turned out. He was there with the Rita as she confronted Tengen. However, they were not the only ones there. Shin stood along side his sister and the sorcerer hunter known as Toji Fushiguro. "So, what's happening here?" came out of Gojo.
"We have come to verify for ourselves, that neither party here wants the merger to occur" Yua said. "As such we are seeing what other options there are. We are aware the council will force this merger either way. And there are consequences should it not happen. So, we are seeing what the other party wishes to decide."
Rita was in tears. She wanted to go home back to her normal life, which won't be happening. Tengen is aware too that the council will force the merger either way, and Rita's life will always be in danger.
"The fact remains that you had so much resistances in coming here. Someone wants her dead and make certain this does not happen. As such, does anyone know of a sorcerer who would want something like this to happen?" Yua asked.
"Can we hurry this up?" Toji demanded. "I got to get back home to the kid!"
"You can go if you want, we got it from here." Shin called.
Toji took his leave, Yua on the other hand peered about. "So, any ideas?" she asked.
"The fact she is still alive at this point is beyond amazing…" muttered Shin.
"Wait, wait, wait. How did you TWO know about this?!" Gojo demanded.
"Satoru… they knew about this the day I learned of it… four years ago" Suguru stated.
"This has been set up from the beginning, we have a cousin whose technique is foresight. We can focus on a certain individual and make a timeline from it." Shin explained. "As such, we are at the part where her vision ends, since at this point, there are other options, other scenarios and circumstances. So… what should be done?"
"I won't force this young lady into this, quite frankly, I am tired of it." Tengen said with a sigh. "At the same time, what you have spoken…"
Yua nodded. "I have another option for Tengen, but that is up to you. Rita we need a proper plan for… in fact…" Yua paused oddly as she stared at Rita. "I think we need to kill her anyways…"
#
There came the sound of a gun.
One loud bang filled the temple of the star plasma legion. Then, they emerged.
Satoru carrying Rita in his arms, she is covered in blood. Her eyes rolled back, as she appeared to be decaying in his arms.
The people cheered.
They applauded the failure of the sorcerers, they smiled to the dead and decomposing body in his arms, until… the body turned to dust.
They said not a word as they left, Gojo had half a mind to turn around and kill these people, however, Suguru talked him out of it. What happened back in Tengen's chamber was nothing less than remarkable.
Yua Tooru took in Tengen herself.
The moment she did, there was an odd surge about her, but she settled and appeared… normal. "That wasn't so bad!" she decreed. "Okay, Tengen is taken care of, I know how to leave an illusion of her in the shrine so the elders won't notice… You two need to walk out with this clone I am going to make…" in an instant, she used curse energy and made a clone of Rita. "As you carry this out it will decay, but we want that effect. As you do, Shin and I are going to escape with Rita. We are going to relocate her and from then on, she will be on her own…"
The plan worked perfectly. And to this day no one was the wiser that the star plasma vessel had escaped and was living a comfortable life outside of Japan.
They stepped outside, Suguru sighed before he turned to Satoru. "I'm leaving the school," he decreed.
"Then what?" Gojo demanded. "What can you do outside of the school? What would you do, Suguru?"
He kept silent, but his mind was made up. Suguru Geto returned to the school, where he went to the principal and decreed he was leaving. "I am not doing this anymore, this thankless job for thankless people… I had enough."
Yaga tried to convince him to stay, but when he failed he did the next best thing. "If you are to leave, stay out of the elder's sights… try and keep clear so we don't have to come after you."
Oddly enough, Suguru smiled. "I have a place in mind." He said gently. "Thank you for your teachings."
#
Time continued to flow.
Gojo moved on after learning Suguru wasn't coming back to the school. In that time, he spent doing mission after mission. But as of late, they have not been successful. Satoru Gojo was given the task. "We want you to start locating Sukuna's fingers."
The problem is, everywhere he goes, the finger is gone. There has been none to bring back and yet the residual energy that contained said finger still lingered. Question remains, WHO is the one taking them?
"You keep failing…"
He was before the elders as he explained what happened.
"Then how about I got back in time, and get there before you tell me it's there! For that matter, why am I the one doing this?!" he demanded. "I thought you elders would have been better prepared or something…"
"We had Sukuna's fingers but were robbed of them!" one scolded.
"Then blame security, not me."
"YOU DON'T REALIZE HOW SERIOUS THIS IS!"
"I do, but do you really think that Sukuna is going to be able to come back?"
"We are not taking that chance, Satoru. We are expecting results from you, before long you are going to start teaching here yourself. If you cannot live up to our expectations of you, then how can we trust you to teach the next generation?"
He was silent on the matter. "Understood, I'll do better…" he said offhandedly. He left shortly after but was fuming. "What is going on… this should be simple to accomplish and yet…" something else is happening, and someone else is playing a hand in this. That he knows.
For he hasn't told the elders of the other sorcerers who are on the same hunt they are. Question is, are they beating him to the punch?

Megumi Fushiguro.
It was one of his first lessons outside of the school, and yet he sighed to it all. "No going home until we get the object, just remember!" he played the last message from his sensei and sighed with defeat.
"How do you expect me to find that?" he growled.
All the while he was ignoring the fact that a fourteen year old boy threw a shot put into a goal fence, freaking out the teacher doing so. Still, he sensed lingering energy about, there was a second grade curse lingering… before it was pulled… something… something was taking the curse!
It caught his eye as he followed the odd trail, before long, he found the sorcerer doing such a thing. The curse turned into an orb and he swallowed it whole like a serpent. Yet, he paused before staring right at Megumi's direction!
"Hi," he simply stated and waved. "Let me guess, you're here for the object too?"
He froze. "What… what do you mean… that's classified…"
"Not really, no, at least not with the people I am with. I'm Suguru by the way, Suguru Geto. I went to school with your sensei"
Megumi's back was up. "Why are you here…"
"Oh, keeping an eye on him." he said and pointed to a strange kid with pink and black hair. "I've been asked to, since apparently someone wants to use him for something."
"Are you after the same object I am?"
He nodded. "Yes, I am, at the same time. My task at the moment is to look after that child there. You are free to continue your search." Megumi decided to make a call after leaving the odd sorcerer where he was.
He didn't get through to his sensei, so he left a text message. 'We're not the only ones after this, do you know someone named Suguru Geto?'
He got an instantly reply.
'I'll be there as soon as I can'
This took Megumi back a little. But then, he made another call. He waited for a moment until he heard. "Yeah?"
He gulped his pride. "Father… I need to ask you something…"
