Story Start!

Dear Daughter,
Your mother and I have recently had our lives saved by a Ronin by the name of Uzumaki Naruto, a highly skilled samurai of a level greater than your bodyguard Goto Matabei. He cut down an entire horde of ruffians that could have greviously wounded us, or worse.

I have offered him a sword as thanks, and a position as your Samurai Instructor.

If he accepts, he will meet you at your current location Yagyu Dojo.

I wish to reward this man, so you are to accept him as your teacher if he shows up, and treat him with the respect such a position deserves. He also has the power to transform a Samurai woman into a Master Samurai, this is information that has been hidden from the public. If you impress him and follow his teachings, he may turn you into a Master Samurai as well.

You will have no trouble recognizing this man if you see him.

He stands taller than even Matabei, his build is larger than my own, and his hair is the color of the sun, with eyes of a sky blue. He is dressed in an orange and black kimono, and wears wooven sandles. The handle of his katana is orange and black.

He is of a great breeding stock.

If you wish to pursue romance with him, I give not only my approval, but I give you my encouragement to pursue him. He is a good and wise man beyond his years, and would make a fine father to your children.

He has trained with the Ninja of the Hanzo clan, has trained under the Youkai who live on Mt. Kurama, and has invented his own sword style, which he calls the Konoha Gama Rasen-Ryu.

Sanada Yukimura was a young, 15 year old girl below the average height for her age, not that she could help that she came from a family short in stature, with black hair and a large forehead. Her petite body was, in her opinion, a charming feature that she showed off with a white one piece swimsuit that she wore underneath an open red and black kimono.

Also, she wore shoes that added 20 centimeters to her height.

She was VERY short for her age group.

Behind her was a woman much taller than the average.

Silver hair in a ponytail, and a green colored school uniform top that was cut off at below her breasts... her very large breasts. She wore no pants or skirt at all, instead opting to wear nothing but a fundoshi to cover her crotch, most of her butt exposed. She was volumptious enough to cover for the both of them as they waited as a train station for the man they suspected would be on it.

Goto Matabei.

"Do you intend to marry this man Miss?" Matabei asked nervously.

"That depends on if I find him to be a satisfying man. I want to test his skills with the blade, and see if his skill is truly greater than your own. He saved my parents, so I will give him more than a fair chance." Yukimura spoke with the maturity of a woman 10 years her senior. She was serious as she spoke, and she waited for the train to come to a full stop. "My fortune telling said he would arrive by train today or tomorrow." Yukimura hoped that he would arrive soon.

Her heart was pounding in her chest.

"If you find him lacking?"

"Then I will still accept him as my teacher, just not as a husband. A man who could impress my parents is a man worthy of becoming my teacher. Not to mention, if he can turn me into a Master Samurai..." Yukimura trailed off as she thought hard about the future that she had read about in her fortune telling. "... a dark omen has been foretold. That stupid witch might not believe us... but the future looks bleak." Yukimura wanted to get as much power as she could to help save Japan from the coming threat.

She didn't know what the threat was, or even the exact date that it would come, but it would be happening in the semi-near future. That could be several months to a few years at most.

"His resume is very extensive. The Youkai of Mt. Kurama are known for their strength, and he created his own sword style... I would love to test myself against him for you." Matabei was ready for combat.

"Okay then, lets go to the dojo."

Both girls froze in place for a moment when they heard a man behind them. They turned around when they unfroze, and Naruto walking up the steps towards the dojo they were stashed away at. There was an unspoken question between the two women.

'When did he get behind us like that, I never took my eyes off the train.' Yukimura thought to herself as she started to follow behind Naruto silently.

-Later-

Yukimura sat outside of the ring in the dojo, and she looked at Naruto facing Matabei.

Her spear was already pointed at him as she showed she was ready to fight, but his sword remained undrawn. His hand was on the handle in a very relaxed grip, but he wasn't taking a stance that she had ever seen before.

"Introductions aren't in order, but here they are anyway. I am Uzumaki Naruto. Since you are fighting me to test me, please give me your name." Naruto stated as he looked at the buxom woman. He would introduce himself to Yukimura again once the duel was finished.

"I am Goto Matabei, my Master's loyal samurai. Will you not unsheath your weapon?" Matabei asked politely, her eyes were sharp.

Naruto smiled.

"Come at me with like you mean to kill. Whenever you are ready, no need to warn me." Naruto told the woman with a smile.

She moved quickly.

3 steps forward and gave a quick lunge with her spear towards his heart. She was precise where she struck, and her speed was among the better samurai that he had seen to be sure. Matabei for her part though quickly pulled her spear back the second it was countered.

Naruto unsheathed his sword partially and knocked her spear off course with the butt of his sword, and she retreated back 2 steps and spun her spear around. She created momentum and swung at him with a sweeping slash, her legs were firmly on the ground. Naruto stepped back out of her range, and she stopped her sweep and started to stab at him. She created more distance though when he simply countered her once more without fully drawing his sword.

'He's treating Matabei like a child...' Yukimura thought as she watched him step from side to side to avoid her stabs. Matabei was not an unskilled warrior, she was highly skilled and he was still reading all of her movements.

"Your footwork is remarkable Matabei-chan, you're a prodigy of your craft. I'm impressed." Naruto complimented his opponent as he knocked her spear away. She retreated back step after step with each counter he made, and she moved forward when he dodged.

Matabei couldn't talk.

Unlike Naruto who was casual, she was concentrating her hardest and using every ounce of her willingness to kill.

'He is full of openings, but no matter which opening I attack, it doesn't work. I can't read his footwork, and his body language isn't giving me any clues to what his next action will be.' Matabei couldn't talk, because her mind was just working too fast to try and get a hit in. She pushed him to take steps back, but even when she was pushing him back, he didn't seem like he was actually struggling.

He was just going with the flow of battle.

He closed his eyes.

"When I trained with the Toad Youkai and Kitsune on Mt. Kurama, they taught me how to expand my awareness. It was with these lessons that I started my path to create my own style... a style that lacks not in offense or defense." Naruto, even with his eyes closed didn't seem to have any trouble reading any of her movements. He still blocked and parried her spear with the same ease as before.

It wasn't even insulting to her to be toyed with.

His footwork was simply beautiful to behold, as a fellow warrior she found herself astounded by his sheer skill. She threw her spear at him, and he stepped to the side. She unsheathed the sword that was hanging from her ponytail, a short sword for very close combat. She lowered herself and made a fast dash for him.

He unsheathed his sword.

He didn't attack her with it though, instead he swung it and smacked the end of her spear that was stabbed into the wall behind him. It unlodged from the wall and was spinning in the air towards her. She was left without a choice, she dodged her own spear, before she found herself with his sword at her neck. His eyes were open, and he was still smiling at her.

"Skilled with a spear and a sword, you are a wonderful samurai. My only suggestion for you is to become more aware of your surroundings, and make use of them to your advantage. You've already reached the peak of how far pure skill can take you." Naruto could see that this woman had reached the peak of where her abilities could take her with nothing but skill and strength. She was strong enough that if she became a Master Samurai, she would be among the best of them with relative ease.

"You toyed with me."

"I never toyed with you. Konoha Gama Rasen-Ryu... float like a leaf in the wind, wait patiently like a toad for a meal, and use spiral movements body movements so that you actions can't be predicted. I only strike the when the moment is right, and I will float like a leaf in the wind until that moment comes, patiently like a toad waiting for prey." Naruto explained where the name for his sword style came from. "I used my full ability against you... I just had no intention of killing you. So, while I did not fight you like I wanted to kill you, you can not say I held back either." Naruto smiled and removed his sword from her neck.

He sheathed it and smiled at Yukimura.

She nodded back to him.

"My father's letter doesn't do your fighting power justice. The way you move was beautiful, your speed and power was exceptional, and you treated a warrior beneath you with respect... Matabei, what is your opinion?" Yukimura asked for her bodyguards opinion on the matter.

She fought him, she should have an understanding.

"... If we had a rematch 40 years from today, and I did nothing but train to master my style, and he did nothing but keep his current skill level, I would still not win. That is the gap between our levels. I could only win if I were to become a Master Samurai... but that is only because I could overwhelm him with raw power, and not skill." Matabei just couldn't see herself ever overcoming the gap in skill.

All she could see if maybe winning by using sheer brute force with a transformation that only women could achieve, which would multiply her raw power by an amount that could give her the edge.

"Is that an accurate assessment she made?" Yukimura asked Naruto for his opinion on Matabei's judgement.

Naruto smiled.

"Matabei has already achieved a perfect mastery of her fighting style. She would need to branch out and study different styles. Still, yes, she would need to become a Master Samurai to defeat me."

"So... you claim that you are a Samurai so skilled that the only opponents who could defeat you, are the Master Samurai who could overwhelm you with brute force?" Yukimura asked Naruto as she leaned forward. She just wanted to make sure that was what he was saying.

He shook his head.

"No... I could still defeat a Master Samurai if she lacked proper skill, though it would be challenging to say the least. If a woman of Matabei's skill were to become a Master Samurai, I wouldn't stand a chance. Well, Yukimura, do I pass your test?" Naruto asked the younger woman with a smile. She judged him.

She folded her fans up and placed them at her side.

She bowed her head to him gracefully, both hands in front of her forehead.

"Yes, and I would be honored to have you become my teacher. It wasn't just your skill that my father underestimated, but your wisdom. How have you gotten to this point?" Yukimura raised her hand and asked with a new sense of humbleness.

Naruto just smiled at her.

"I have been a ronin for many years, and I have trained under many masters. I have seen mankind at it's best and worst. I'm looking forward to getting to know you more Yukimura-chan." Naruto bowed his head to her.

"I look forward to learning under you, and getting to know you as well."

"Thank you for this sparring match. I hope we can spar again in the future." Matabei bowed her head lower than Naruto did by far. She sheathed her sword back in it's sheath, and grabbed her spear.

Yukimura hide her mouth by opening her face.

'This is perfect... this guy really is a great catch. He's strong and wise, skilled and humble... and he can turn samurai into master samurai. This is my chance.' Yukimura couldn't be more satisfied with what she was getting out of this. '... He is a high quality man for sure.'

She couldn't let another woman get her hands on this man.
