Note: So the showdown happens! Now like i said Cay gets a bashing but i promise she will be alright! I AM BACK TO WRITING!
The rangers gathered in the dino lab after Kira sent a signal. They were all made aware of the plan.
"We end this now whatever it takes we bring her home". Carter spoke. "Look we all know how dangerous she is but we can do this"
"You know i had a thought". Conner spoke up. "What if this is what Moya wants, what if she wants us to destroy Cay so she can regin and take the full power on her own?"
"I thought the same thing".Ethan agreed.
"Then we make sure Cayleigh is free of this then we destroy Moya together." Kira finished.
The veteran rangers tood together behind the teens. "Ready?" Conner asked.
"Ready!" Kira, Ethan and Tommy replied. "Dino Thunder Power Up! HA!"
"LIGHTSPEED RESCUE!"
"TITANIUM POWER!"
The six rangers speed out of the lab on the ATVS in hopes of saving their loved one.
Moya leaned against a tree looking up at the moonlight as it gleamed over the small pond. She grinned as she heard the ATVS approach.
"Moya!" Conner bellowed. "This ends now".
"Oh and here i forgot to bring the popcorn so i can watch your end" Moya joked wagging her finger. "But if you insist". Moya brought out of true form. "Mesogog may have his minions but i have my own."
The rangers watched as soldiers that looked like putties appeared but covered in ice spikes.
"Tommy, Carter go we got these guys". Ryan told the two of them.
Carter and Tommy split up. Moya looked in both directions and followed the red ranger. Carter smiled under his helmet. Thats where he needed her to go.
"Come out red ranger your too old for hide and seek". Moya shouted. She growled as he jumped from behind a garbage bin kicking her to the ground. Carter went to punch her but her ice talons slashed his chest.
Tommy climed up onto the roof adjacent to them. "Come on Carter just a litle more to the left".
Carter groaned as a barrage of ice bullets his every part of his body. "Cay please". He begged as she stood above him. She bent down grabbing his leg and threw him into the wall.
Moya growled as the yellow ranger used a ptera scream to and caused her to stumble back. Moya threw an ice dagger at Kira making her roll onto the ground. Ethan helped her up.
"Thanks Ethan". Ethan nodded as he charged towards her pinning her to the ground using his tricera shield. "Dr.O now!"
Tommy heard his call and cut the ropes causing the barrels full of oil to crash to the ground. "Ryan your up!".
Ryan fired his axe causing the oil around Moya to burn and circle around her. Carter and Tommy jumped in the circle of fire and held her arms while Conner and Ethan grabbed her legs.
Moya produced ice spikes from her body sending the four rangers flying. It was too much for them as they demorphed in pain.
"Tommy its not working!". Carter cried holding his ribs.
Tommy managed to get to his feet seeing Moya begin to cry as the fire got hotter. Tommy looked around at his rangers. He pulled the dagger out of his pocket.
"Tommy don"t!". He heard Ryan yell.
Moya's screams reached their ears as her true form was forced to vanish due to the heat. Tommy charged into the fire pinning her to the ground.
"Come on black ranger end it i dare you" Moya choked out. Tommy raised the dagger over her chest as tears brimmed his eyes. "You can't do it".
"Do it Tommy, free me. its okay".
Tommy shook his head hearing Cay is his head. "I'm sorry Cay". Moya yelled as she felt the dagger pierce her chest. The wave of energy sending Tommy back.
"No!" They all cried.
Once the flames died down Moya got to her knees gripping the dagger. The black veins on her face disappearing. Cayleigh's body turned back to normal. Tommy ran to catch her as she began to fall forward.
"Cayeigh!" He landed on his knees. "Hey look at me". He smiled in relief as two brown eyes looked 's spirit rose into the night sky. He yanked the dagger out of her body.
"T-thank y-you". She managed as cuts from the battle begah to appear over her face and arms.
"Your free Cay she can't hurt you anymore" Ryan mananged. "No Cay stay awake". He pleaded as her eyes closed.
Tommy shook her body. "Cay? Cayleigh?".
"Come on lets get her home". Carter suggested. Tommy lifted his motionless sister into is arms.
Once they got back tothe lab Hayley let out sob. Tommy laid Cay down on the bed. He never saw the other woman in the room.
"Tommy". Her voice quiet. He turned to see Kimberly standing in the corner.
Kim walked over and stood in front of him. "I'm so sorry. Come on lets get you cleaned up". Tommy let her lead him upstairs and to his room. He sat on the edge of his bed. She wet a cloth and cleaned the dirt and dried blood on his cheek. Kim jumped when he closed his hand around her wrist.
"What are you doing here?" He said in a whisper.
"I heard Cay was back so i decided to come see how she was doing. Hayley let me in so she told me what was happening". Kim explained wiping his tears. "Its not your fault"
"Will you stay?"
Kim smiled gently. "As long as you want". Kim helped him get changed out of his dirty clothes. "Come on lets go downstairs".
Once they got downstairs Tommy collapsed into the chair his eyes never leaving his sister's body.
Kira, Conner and Ethan we huddled together on the steps. Carter was on one side of the bed why Ryan was on the other. They had cleaned the dirt and blood from her body.
"Something is not right here". Hayley spoke. "All signs point to her vitals being gone but yet there is brain activity".
"Could it be residual energy?" Kira offered.
"Not from my scans. But what i can say is Moya is gone completely. Even the essence Cay had its gone". Hayley informed them sadly.
"Hayley are you saying my sister is alive?" Tommy dared to ask.
Hayley nodded. "She is somehow but its like she is locked inside her brain. She seems stable for now so i order everyone to get cleaned up and get some rest. I will stay and monitor her and if anything changes i promise i will let you guys know".
Hayley looked in awe as everyone brought over sleeping bags. "I take that as a sign no one is leaving. If your staying go get showers i would prefer the lab i helped build stay clean"
Once they all got cleaned up Ryan went and got pizza for everyone. The teens went home quickly to get their pj's so they were all sitting in the floor of the dino lab. Tommy was laying in the bed with his sister leaning against him.
"You know they remind us of how we used to be".Kim whispered from where she was sitting to Tommy's right.
Tommy rested his chin on Cay's head. He looked at her face."Uh Hayley, i think she's breathing". Hayley reached up to turn on the monitor that her wires were hooked to.
"Oh my god she's alive". Ryan breathed as her vitals were registering.
"That'our girl". Carter praised touching her forehead which seemed warm.
In Cayleigh's Head...
Cayleigh sat under a tree with her knees against her chest. She had never felt so peaceful before and she wanted to stay that way.
"You have to go back"
Cay looked around. "Who's there?"
"You have to go back"
"Come out so i can see you" Cay demanded.
"Sweet Cayleigh". Sensei Moya whispered as she appeared.
"Moya, but how?" Cayleigh covered her mouth in shock as the elder Sensei approached her. Cay could feel nothing but love.
"My spirit is free at last. I can now find the peace i have been seeking. Young Cayleigh its time for you to go from this place".
Cayleigh bowed her head in shame. Moya lifted her chin. "But i hurt them Moya. How will they ever see me the same?"
Moya sighed. "They are waiting for you. They never left you. I have no disappointment in you nor do they. You have done me proud in our journey but now you have to finish yours and defeat Mesogog and free my Brother as your brother freed us".
"I won't have you".
"No child you won't, you knew the dagger would free me and my bond to you. Naya will join me again as well". Moya spoke walking away. "Naya served both of us well. I will always watch over you. Now go finish your journey".
"Thank you Sensei." Cayleigh whispered as both of them vanished.
Dino Lab...
Everyone was sound asleep, all but Tommy who was watching his sister sleep. He felt her body move under the arm he had around her shoulders. "Cay?".
"Hey". She whispered.
"Welcome back". He told her kissing her head. "You okay?"
"Yeah, i'm sorry".
Tommy tightened his grip. "You have nothing to be sorry for. You know everyone is here".
Cayleigh glanced around at her ranger family who slept in all areas of the lab. "She's gone".
"We'll talk about it later, right now we both need the rest since its 2:00 in the morning". He told her as she laid her head on his shoulder. He felt her body relax and her breathing even out.
The dino lab went silent. Tommy swallowed hard still reeling from the events that unfolded. He was about to close his eyes when a bright flash surrounded the lab but no one woke up.
"My how she has grown".
Tommy watched in awe who was not standing before him. "Zordon? but how you were destroyed".
"I was indeed destroyed but my wave of energy still lingers in some of my rangers. I am using what is left of mine. You all have some of my essence left in you." Tommy watched as his mentor walked over and touched his sister's cheek. "She is strong."
"She misses you. We all do".
"As i miss all of you." He spoke as he turned around. "You both have made me proud you all have made me proud. She will need you Tommy" Zordon gave them one last look. "This will be the last you see of me"
Tommy watched as his mentor begin to fade as the last of his essence was used. In seconds he was gone. Tommy felt a wave of sadness wash over him as the room went pulled up the blanket and let his body give in to sleep.
