Chapter 2:
We begin with our heroes Ryuko and Letuce charging towards their mysterious foe at top speed. The man retracts his arm for a punch. The two warriors will do the same. All three of them release their arms all at once, causing a massive shockwave to disperse across the area. Bits of the arena began to crumble and fly off in various directions. The air would be ferocious and almost blow our spectators away!
"Incredible…" Oritsu states. "With just one collision of their punches, the shockwave is destroying the area around them!"
The man, riddled with anger, begins to push the two warriors back with the same punch. Ryuko and Letuce are struggling to hold their ground against the man. The man unleashes a powerful roar, leading to his punch fully connecting against the two warriors. Ryuko and Letuce would take some damage against the attack and bounce back towards the man.
Letuce sharply turns to the left and aims his hand towards the man. Letuce remarks: "Ryuko! I'll stall for time against this guy. Charge your kamehameha at full power and we'll have a chance!"
Ryuko nods back at Letuce, cupping his hands together, and begins to charge the Kamehameha. "Ka…Me.."
Letuce fires blasts towards the man as he circles him. The man completely cuts off Letuce and pins him down to the ground hard. "GACK! You're tough alright. But it is our job to protect the planet from monsters like you!" Letuce charges up and releases a one handed energy wave towards the man at point blank range.
Ryuko still continues to charge his full power Kamehameha. "Ha…Me…"
The man would be relatively unphased by Letuce's attack. He then grabs onto Letuce and flies up into the sky. The man stops at about five hundred feet in the air, before reversing his direction back towards the ground, moving at top speeds. He slams himself and Letuce down into the ground, however the man gets back up. This time, Ryuko's attack has finished charging. The area was now surrounded by Ryuko's bright blue light emanating from the blast he held in his hands.
Ryuko then shouts at the top of his lungs: "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Ryuko unleashes his full power Kamehameha, leading to a direct hit on the man! "A direct hit!" Oritsu shouts. Ryuko, now drained from his attack, lets out a quick sigh of relief.
However, this victory was celebrated too soon. The man would emerge from the smoke, tattered and wounded, but still standing strong. The man lets out his most powerful roar, sounding like a beast rather than a man. Vegeta Jr remarks to Goku Jr: "This man…His energy is certainly nothing like I've seen".
Goku Jr replies: "You're right Vegeta… Something about this man feels similar, yet I can't put my finger on it. His sheer will to continue fighting is extremely strong. I'm not sure if the boys might have this one in the bag."
Ryuko, shocked that his full power was unable to shake the beast, could not move an inch. Ryuko began to feel his first instance of true fear. The man kicks Ryuko back into a wall, and once there, pummels him. Letuce, finally getting back up from the attack the man did on him earlier, sees that Ryuko is currently being beaten to a pulp.
Letuce, in a flash of anger, unleashes a Galick Gun at the man. The man just charges through the blast, and throws him to Ryuko, causing them both to take damage. The man holds a blast in his hand. This blast is now more than enough to kill the both of them.
Just as he chucks the blast, a distant voice can be heard: "CRIMSON CANNON!" Oritsu shoots a blast at the man's arm to distract him. Oritsu then lands in front of the downed Ryuko and Letuce. Letuce commends his comrade for saving their lives: "You really came in clutch there, Oritsu." Ryuko just smirks at Oritsu, giving him his approval as well. Goku Jr teleports to the two and hands them each a senzu bean before teleporting back to Vegeta Jr. The two warriors consume the bean and regain their strength.
Ryuko huddles up the other two: "Alright guys. This is it. If we're able to combine our powers together and coordinate, we can win this."
Letuce continues: "He's just like a beast. He'll be vulnerable if we can anger him enough."
Oritsu quickly replies: "Alright. Letuce and myself will take the sides. Ryuko, you focus on the front. If he mainly focuses on you, our attacks can land."
"Alright. Let's go guys!" Ryuko states. "Right!" says Oritsu and Letuce. The three warriors all charge in with their plan in motion. Ryuko taking front and center, and Letuce and Oritsu taking his sides. The man attempts to block all three at once, but leaves multiple openings trying to do so. Letuce lands a swift kick to his leg. Oritsu jabs at his chest, and Ryuko with the uppercut. Eventually, the man began to show some signs of struggle against the three.
The man pushes them all back with a sudden shockwave, in order to keep his distance. The man showers down a barrage of blasts towards our new warriors. Ryuko began to fire blasts back in order to counterattack. Oritsu focused on deflecting the blasts away from the area. Letuce would do a mix of both. The man suddenly descends to the ground, stomping on Oritsu's spine. "GAAAAAAH!" Oritsu exclaims. "ORITSU!" Ryuko shouts as he quickly aims his next blast at the man. The man blitzes towards Ryuko with a blast in hand, causing a point-blank hit to land at Ryuko's side. He'd spiral out of control and land near Goku and Vegeta Jr.
The man kicks Letuce up into the air. He then vanishes in front of him, landing a kick. He'd vanish again, but the man would knee Letuce even higher. He'd vanish once again, and charge at Letuce with a headbutt. Finally, the man vanishes one last time, grabbing Letuce's head and dragging him down and on the ground. He'd throw Letuce into the air and finish it off with a homing blast. Despite the heavy damage he took from the man's attacks, he was determined to get up. He'd move the rubble off of his body and attempted to stand up. He fails the first time, but grabs onto a nearby wall. He'd finally stand up, catching his breath. Ryuko and Oritsu would do the same.
Letuce would then tell the others: "We can't continue on like this you guys. It's time we go all out!" Ryuko and Oritsu understood and began to charge their energy to the maximum. Letuce would do the same.
The man, now feeling their powers surge to the maximum, he immediately replies with his own energy. A dark red light can be seen coming from the man. His aura is now at its maximum as he began to charge up an attack within his palm. The black ball would spark ferociously with red electricity.
"LETS GO! FULL POWER!" The three young warriors began to charge their own signature moves as a result. Letuce's aura completely changes to a purple color as he charges the Galick Gun. Oritsu's hand would light up as a red blast with green sparks appeared. Ryuko would cup his hands together and pull them back to his waist. They each began to charge up their attacks. The man's attack would finish charging, as he uses his full power to fire the blast towards the three. Now, with their attacks ready to be used, all put their hands out at once, shouting at the top of their lungs
"CRIMSON CANNOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!"
"GALICK GUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!"
"KAMEHAME…HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
The three blasts would all combine into one super blast in order to clash with the man's attack. All four fighters would be struggling at getting an edge on their opponents. However, the man starts to gain an edge, pushing his blast towards the three. They try to retaliate, but to find no change.
Their defenses began to seem worthless as their demise slowly headed towards them. The man begins to walk towards them whilst holding the blast in his hand. "I'm not sure if we can win this Ryuko!" Oritsu would say, as he began to start feeling his doubt. Ryuko, focusing all his attention on his attack, begins to waver slightly. Letuce, began to doubt their victory as well. "Oritsu might be right, Ryuko. This might be our first and last opponent we'll ever get to face. His sheer strength is unmatched. We can't win this!" However, a distant voice would yell at the three warriors.
"SILENCE!" It was Vegeta Jr, who scolded the young warriors for their doubts. "How dare you doubt yourself at the most decisive moment of your battle! As my grandson, you cannot accept defeat so easily!" "Grandpa…" Letuce would say to himself. Vegeta Jr continues his speech: "I know for a fact that you three can take him down in one fell swoop. You have enough power to overtake him. You just need to have confidence! The fact that you have none in the first place, shows that you aren't ready for battle! What would the world be if you were to die here and now!? I don't want to see you crumble at your first threat! I want you all to succeed and grow from this! Now….GO AND GIVE HIM HELL!"
The three young warriors, now invigorated with Vegeta Jr's speech, began to push the man's blast back. They even started to win in the clash as a result. The man began to struggle and waver from his attack. Oritsu, now seeing this sudden change began to pour out all he's got. "THIS IS IT YOU GUYS! LET'S DO IT! NOWWWWWWWWWW!" Oritsu shouts. Ryuko, Oritsu, and Letuce now at their absolute limit, began to exert all their power into their combined attack. "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" The man's attack would be completely decimated and the man tried to grab the blast with his hands. After a few seconds, this attempt to stop the blast would fail and result in the man taking the full brunt of the attack! The blast would leave a trail on the ground as it slowly fades away. Now, with our warriors truly beat and exhausted, celebrate their well deserved victory.
"We….we did it you guys.." Ryuko would say with a sigh of relief. "We finally managed to take down our first enemy." Oritsu and Letuce would high five before dropping down to their backs. Ryuko would sit down next to his two friends, catching his breath. "I still can't believe we were able to take him down…He was crazy strong" Oritsu states. Letuce then replies: "But with our powers combined, we pulled out in the end"
But, what took everyone by surprise is that the man was able to withstand the combined attack. The man would be seen covered in severe wounds and marks across his body and clothes. As he gets up from one knee, he immediately falls back down. However, this time it's different. The man's pupils would come back before he collapsed onto the ground, truly defeated.
