Author's Note: Hey guys! Just starting off by saying thank you for getting this story to nearly 1000 total views! I'm so happy to see that this story was able to take off as much as it did. Chapter 13 is in the works and will close off the Dark Namekians Arc. The next chapter, Chapter 13, will mostly be a Post-Dark Namekians chapter. However, what I can say is that, I am very excited to start production on Arc 3! We'll be setting up some major elements coming up. There might be something at the end of Chapter 13 that'll lead into the next arc or even future arcs. But, let's just say that the sneak peek into arc 3 will heavily revolve around Ryuko and Goku Jr mostly. Anyways, since this is the last major chapter for this arc, I'll just go ahead and drop this power level chart. Anyways, I can't thank you guys enough for reading this story.

Now with the Power Levels out the way, let's get back to Shinsei! The climactic end to Arc 2!
Chapter 12:
Ethunu, the embodiment of chaos, and destroyer of worlds has finally awakened from his deep prison within the sword he was confined in. In that moment of release, the sense of ecstasy floods through Leech's bones. "I did it..I actually did it.." Leech grows ever so excited at the thought he finally completed his goal. "I AWAKENED ETHUNU! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHHA!" A sense of despair looms over the lookout and our warriors. As the skies change color, and the dragon lets out a beastly roar, shaking the lookout as lightning surrounds the area, followed by gusts of wind.
Ryuko, Vejin, Oritsu, and Letuce would face against Leech and the dragon Ethunu. However, even though this was going to be a tall hurdle for them, they knew they can't back down now. Leech points towards the four warriors: "NOW! ETHUNU!" Ethunu quickly charges at the warriors. However, due to his size, his attacks were a little slow and sluggish. They were able to avoid the attacks with ease. Leech, grew slightly irritated, but had a plan. With a snap of his fingers, Leech had taken the dimensional prison that Ethunu was held in and turned it into a vortex. The vortex would swallow anything caught in it's path. However, Leech and Ethunu remain completely unaffected by the spell. However, Vejin, Ryuko, Oritsu, and Letuce would begin to feel the pull of the vortex. "What the- WOAH!" Ryuko states as he starts sliding across the lookout. Luckily, he grabs onto a broken tile nearby. Oritsu holds onto a tree, Letuce holds onto a nearby tower, and Vejin holds onto a tree. The pull continues to grow stronger as the foundation of their grips begins to crumble. "Tch…We can't get close to Leech anymore…" Oritsu says. "He's activated some kind of spell that makes a vortex. And look over there!" Oritsu points over to B'az. His body is being rolled across the lookout as he grows closer and closer to the vortex. Letuce shouts: "None of us can grab him! He's going to get sucked in!" Leech noticing this grins: "Well well…Perhaps my sacrificial lamb will be the first to go..Once you lot are dealt with, I will exact my revenge on the two that sealed me away…"
Ryuko's tile began to crack and crumble away more. Eventually, he loses his grip: "SHIT!" He'd fall very close to the vortex, but saves himself by grabbing onto the central building of the lookout: "That was too close to call." Vejin, completely angered at this scenario, fires a blast straight to Leech. However, Ethunu completely blocks the blast and ensures it doesn't harm Leech. Oritsu starts to lose his grip, as he's down to a few fingers: "So…Anyone else got any bright ideas? THAT DON'T INVOLVE US DYING!?" Vejin chimes in: "The dragon is acting as his bodyguard. Any attack directed towards Leech will be blocked by him. We need a way to diverge the dragon from protecting Leech." Oritsu replies: "That's great Vejin, that's why he was summoned…" Oritsu had a bit of sarcasm with him. Oritsu continues: "Okay, that is good to know, but who would be crazy enough to go in?" Vejin just smirks back at them: "You're asking that question?" Vejin prepares himself to jump off his tree. And after another second, he does just that. He jumps full force towards Ethunu and the vortex, increasing his speed slightly. However, to Vejin's dismay, Ethunu grabbed the saiyan and tightened his grip: "GHHHHHHHHH! GAHHHHHHHHHHH! This vortex and this dragon…What a pain to deal with.." Leech's devilish smirk begins to make its appearance: "Perfect…The biggest thorn in my side has foolishly become my first victim! ETHUNU! THROW HIM INTO THE VORTEX!" Ethunu prepares itself to throw Vejin straight into the vortex. But as Ethunu cocks his hand behind his head, Vejin charges up a blast within Ethunu's hand to loosen his grip. Ethunu would be hurt by the blast within his palm: "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Ethunu roars in pain as it grabs its hand.
Vejin quickly breaks free and grabs onto a nearby pillar. However, Oritsu's pillar began to crumble away, and eventually, it broke. Oritsu, now with no structural support from the lookout, began to fly in towards the vortex: "SHIT!" His first act was to fly in the opposite direction of the pull at full force, but to no avail. The vortex's pull was just too strong. Vejin attempts to reach out his hand to help out Oritsu. Oritsu stretches out his hand, but the pull was too strong. Oritsu got pulled in further. Vejin pulls back his hand: "Dammit!" Ryuko immediately dives into action: "Vejin! Grab my leg!" Vejin does so and with that, they now have an extended reach. Ryuko grabs Oritsu and pulls him back up. "Thanks..I would've been a goner back there." Oritsu told the two. However, there was still one thing left that slipped their mind. B'az had continued to be pulled towards the vortex, and due to him being in a lifeless state, he had no resistance to the pull. Letuce quickly dove into action as he catches B'az and swings over to another pillar: "Phew! That was close…"
Leech began to see his plan fall apart, even with Ethunu. The warriors kept saving themselves, and Ethunu was only a shield to Leech. Ethunu couldn't do anything. Leech thought to himself: "DAMMIT! THIS DRAGON CAN'T DO ANYTHING IN THIS STATE! IT'S JUST A SHIELD!" That's when it hit him: "Wait…" Leech began to realize a way to fix his mistake. He quickly calmed down before shouting his command to Ethunu: "ETHUNU!" Ethunu turns around to see his master, awaiting his command. Ryuko looks over to see the dragon turned around to Leech: "What's he doing now?" Leech looks the dragon dead in the eyes and spreads his arms open. Ethunu stands behind Leech, so Leech can look at our warriors. Leech began to speak once again: "Well boys, it's been quite the escapade. But I think it's time we drive this conflict to a chaotic finale!" Oritsu questions this: "What does he mean by that? Is he surrendering?" Vejin quickly realizes what Leech is about to do: "Wait…NO! WE CAN'T LET HIM!" Vejin dives towards Leech and Ethunu. Leech quickly shouts at Ethunu's name one last time: "NOW! ETHUNU! TAKE MY LIFE! TAKE MY ENERGY! IT IS NOW ALL YOURS!" Ethunu opens it's mouth wide open and swallows Leech whole.
In that instant, Ethunu's power had changed, now that he had absorbed Leech. Ethunu's power exploded in a quick burst, knocking Vejin back to the pillar he was on initially: "GHHH!" Ethunu begins to charge up a mouth blast straight to Vejin. Letuce tries to shake B'az awake. Thankfully, he still had some consciousness, but it wasn't enough for him to open his eyes or move: "Okay guys. He's still alive. We gotta end this dragon now." Ryuko interrupts Letuce: "That's great Letuce. BUT THERE'S A GIANT BLAST READY TO COME CRASHING OUR WAY!" Ethunu fires off the mouth blast at Vejin and it speeds towards the others. Thankfully, everyone dodged the blast, with the exemption of Vejin, who took the blast at full force. After the smoke clears, Vejin took heavy damage from the mouth blast as his body nearly gave out. He begins to fall towards the vortex, but is saved by Ryuko. Vejin smirks: "Heh. Thanks." Vejin quickly picks himself back up and puts himself next to Ryuko.
Although Leech had gifted his power to Ethunu, there was one fatal flaw in this logic. Since Leech was the one to keep Ethunu from being sucked in, with Leech no longer present and his magic running out of time, the pull of the vortex would weaken. On top of this, Ethunu would now be affected by the vortex and start to feel it's pull. Ethunu uses 2 of its arms to grip onto the lookout, and use the other 2 and his mouth to fire off blasts at the others. While everyone quickly dodges the blasts, Oritsu spots that the dragon was struggling to keep its grip: "Guys! Look! The dragon's being sucked in. We can push him back in!" Ryuko quickly shouts: "What are you guys waiting for!? Let's blast this dragon back!"
Vejin quickly charges up his Catastrophe Bullet within the palm of his hand and launch it at the dragon: "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Ryuko charges up a one handed kamehameha while holding onto the tree: "Kamehame…HAAA!"
Letuce and Oritsu each fire off a one handed beam as well: "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
The 4 beams came crashing towards Ethunu. The dragon was stunned by the beams and began to be pushed back. Ethunu started to lose its footing and nearly fell into the vortex. But, he started to push the beams back. Vejin remarks: "Dammit…He's not going in..Even with our attacks" Letuce adds onto that comment: "We just gotta add more power to them!" Vejin replies: "Then we need to let go of what we're holding" Oritsu exclaims: "WHAT!? THAT'S SUICIDE! WE COULD ALL GET SUCKED IN!" Vejin explains: "If we don't go all in here and now, we'll be screwed! If you don't want this dragon to wreak havoc on this planet, then now's the time to go all in! Plus, if we stay like this, that dragon will continue it's rampage on us first." Ryuko comes to terms with what Vejin tells the group: "He's right. We have enough power to send this dragon back where he came from. We have no choice you guys!" They all nod. Vejin continues: "Alright. On the count of 3, everybody let go and sink all of your energy into your attacks. Ready? One…Two…THREE!"
All of them let go of what they're holding as they feel the vortex's pull. But that meant nothing to them. Their energy quickly poured out of their bodies and into their attacks.
They let out one last shout: "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Ethunu couldn't hold the blasts back any longer and lost his footing. As a result, he lost his grip on the blasts, and was pushed back into the vortex once and for all. "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" The dragon lets out one last roar before being closed off permanently.
As one big sigh of relief swept through the lookout, our warriors collectively crashed onto the lookout floor.
With Ethunu successfully placed back in the vortex, the Dark Namekians' dark reign of terror was over.
