Author's Note: Hey guys! I just wan to take a quick moment to say that I am truly grateful that this story has gained over 1000 total views! I am truly happy that this story is growing to even more people and I can never have enough words to really thank you all. But, with the thanks aside, I will say that I will be having a completely different pace. Now, as you know, uploading chapters has been quite the hassle for me as my schedule has become tight and very hard to maneuver around. But, I will promise you that I will get chapters done as fast as I can. And I am really excited to show you what Arc 3 currently holds! We've got tons of new events and surprises in this arc that I think you'll enjoy! But, once again, let's head back to Shinsei with the start of Arc 3!

Chapter 14:

With Earth finally at peace, the Neo Z-Fighters have relaxed since their battle with the Dark Namekians. However, they have still kept up on their training regimen, if not enhanced it to a degree. Four months have passed since the reawakening of Leech, and today was just like any other day.

However, that normal day was about to change as an unknown spacecraft makes its course towards Earth, and will be arriving very soon.

On the other side of the coin, we see that everyone's lives have been able to live with the peaceful times. Letuce and Vegeta Jr would be sparring with one another, allowing Letuce to grow in strength. Letuce goes in for a roundhouse kick, but Vegeta Jr blocks it quickly, responding with a hook. Letuce recovers from this attack and bounces back with even more force with an elbow. Vegeta Jr catches the attack but wavers slightly. He grips onto Letuce's arm and throws him back. He then charges up a Galick Gun. Letuce would do the same as both beams clash head to head. With the bright light coming from the blasts, they'd collapse in on each other and explode.

We then head over to Ryuko and Goku Jr, who are having a casual bite out to eat in the city. They'd scarf down the food in seconds. Bags upon bags of food begin to pile up on their table, leaving the others in awe, including the employees. The higher ups of the place, weren't surprised at all. After about two or so hours, Goku Jr and Ryuko leave with full stomachs and leave the money on the table, and exit the joint.

We head over to the Capsule Corp garage where Kiki has been tweaking on some new projects and inventions to help Vegeta Jr out. Oritsu watches her sister go to work on the machinery. Kiki started out with just capsule work and low grade weapons. Now she's moved up to advanced robotics and has become Capsule Corp's number one engineer and even project leader in some branches. She's currently working on robotics and prosthetic arms to be implemented. Oritsu would provide with illustrations given he has a natural talent of drawing and art skills to give his sister an idea on what something should look like.

Lastly is Vejin. Vejin had been alone for quite some time. Vejin would be sitting underneath a tree on a hill as the breeze blows through him. He puts his hand on the grass and looks down at it. He then closes his eyes, picturing what was once someone he knew. Someone he met and cherished. It was Terra. He pictured Terra within his mind, and in that instant, Vejin felt something wrap around his neck. Like someone was trying to hug him from behind. He opened his eyes and was stunned for a moment. He turned around and saw nothing. He must've been daydreaming, and sworn he felt her touch once again. Vejin only smirked and said softly: "Terra…" He closed his hand on the grass and closed his eyes once more. After another second, Vejin finally gets himself up and heads back to Capsule Corp.

As Vejin makes his way back, he manages to meet up with Goku Jr and Ryuko, who were also heading to Capsule Corp. The three of them enter the complex, as Vegeta Jr and Letuce would come in through the back door and greet them. Letuce heads down the hall towards his room. Vegeta Jr and Goku Jr would engage in a conversation, but Vejin and Ryuko have other plans. Leading to Vejin asking: "Care to train with me, Ryuko?" Ryuko nods his head as the two enter the gravity chamber. Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr would like to watch these two train together and opt to spectate. Vejin sets the gravity chamber up to 100G. Ryuko showed signs of slight struggle, but took a minute to fully acclimate. Vejin had no such worries and headed into his stance. Ryuko followed suit as they stared each other down. And after a brief instance, they quickly dashed towards one another and clashed blows almost immediately.

The two would be nearly neck and neck with each other, clashing with every blow they dished out. Vejin knocks Ryuko back, but he quickly recovers and dashes back to him, getting Vejin on the backfoot. Vejin quickly disperses Ryuko once more and pursues him directly with a kick. Ryuko ducks under it, but is met with a spin kick by Vejin. Ryuko would be pushed to the wall and surprise Vejin with an uppercut into an axe kick. As the two trade blows and exchange in clashes, Vegeta Jr and Goku Jr were thoroughly impressed with what they could do.

Goku Jr remarks: "The two of them really have come a long way since they first began training together, haven't they Vegeta?" Vegeta Jr agrees: "Agreed. But don't count the others out just yet. They're still in the running too." Goku Jr chuckles for a second: "Of course. But, these two are close to reaching it, aren't they?" Vegeta Jr takes wind with this: "Yes. It's nearly time for them."

Back to the match, we see that Vejin has gotten the upper hand, and has decided to dish out a bit of banter: "You know, sometimes you let your guard down too easily if you're in a corner." Vejin gut punches Ryuko and follows up with a jab. Ryuko comes back with a rebuttal: "You're one to talk about dropping your guard. Maybe you should pay more attention to where someone's attacks are going!" Ryuko charges in with a feint kick, but actually used a backhanded punch. Vejin says: "Cheeky little bastard, heheheheh…" Ryuko smirks as they continue.

They both say: "Let's end this!" They both take a backstep to the ends of the gravity chamber. They both charge in with full force and threw punches square in the face. Both received a serious blow to the face as they were both left in a daze. Vejin managed to straighten himself back up. However, Ryuko wasn't so fortunate. He was knocked onto the floor of the gravity chamber. Both combatants were left incredibly winded and had exhausted themselves out. Vejin has been declared the victor of this friendly sparring match.

Goku Jr would help Ryuko back up and handed him a recovery drink to restore Ryuko's condition. Vegeta Jr did the same with Vejin. Vegeta Jr tells the both of them: "You boys certainly have grown tremendously. Well done you two. I truly couldn't be more proud." Goku Jr agrees: "Yeah, you said it. Ryuko, you put up a valiant fight to the end. Don't beat yourself up over a loss, okay?" Ryuko smirks at his grandfather: "Right, grandpa." Vegeta Jr chimes in for a new idea: "You know, boys. Goku and I have been doing some serious thinking…" Vejin raises an eyebrow at Vegeta Jr. Ryuko asks: "What do you mean?" Goku Jr stands next to Vegeta Jr: "What he's saying is, how would you boys like to fight us? You know, a 2 on 2 match against us?" Vejin would be ready to go for a round 2: "You said it…I'm all in on this one." Ryuko also joins in: "Sure! I'd like to see how far I've come against you both!"

Vegeta Jr states: "Before we begin, we'll set some rules. First, there's no flying. Since this is a limited space, we have to work with it. Second, no ki blasts or energy based attacks. We already have too much damage from the chamber from somebody…" Vegeta Jr death glares Vejin. Vejin just shakes it off: "Heh…Sorry gramps." Vegeta Jr rolls his eyes and continues: "Rule three. Vejin, you are not allowed to transform into that berserker state of yours. If you do, it will break down this chamber, leaving it as an empty space. Alright, sound good?" Ryuko and Vejin both nod. Goku Jr then says: "Good. Let's make sure that we have fun, okay?" Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr got in their stances. Ryuko and Vejin did the same.

Goku Jr and Ryuko rush towards each other. Vejin and Vegeta Jr would rush in towards each other as well, resulting in a 2 on 2 clash. Each punch and kick they delivered to each other was delivered with heavy force. Throughout the match, they would switch who they would fight. Now Vejin faced off against Goku Jr and Ryuko against Vegeta Jr. Ryuko delivers a heavy sucker punch to Vegeta Jr's face. Vejin, seeing this opportunity at the corner of his eye would swiftly kick Vegeta Jr back. Goku Jr quickly chases after Vejin, but Ryuko has Vejin's back by elbowing Goku Jr away. Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr rush in from each side together, but Ryuko and Vejin swiftly sidestep away, causing Goku Jr and Vegeta jr to smack into each other. Vegeta Jr angrily tells off Goku Jr: "Dammit you idiot!" Goku Jr is much more calm in this situation: "Heh heh, sorry Vegeta." Vejin and Ryuko go in for a combined dual kick to the pair, which lands successfully. After that heavy blow, Vegeta Jr and Goku Jr felt winded. Their old age started to get to them as the fight continued onward. Goku Jr nods at Vegeta Jr, and their expressions go from relaxed to serious. If they wouldn't take this seriously they could end up losing. Now that Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr have finally realized this, they no longer need to hold back against the two. This resulted in a fast turnaround, giving Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr the upper hand. Vegeta Jr goes in for a knee to Vejin's jaw, and Goku Jr follows up with a sledgehammer. Several punches and kicks were being dealt to Vejin by Vegeta Jr until Goku Jr comes in with a serious roundhouse kick to knock Vejin into the wall. Goku Jr rushes at Ryuko, putting him on the backfoot to defend against his attacks. However, Vegeta Jr strikes behind Ryuko sending him off his feet, and finally Goku Jr lands an axe kick onto Ryuko's chest, smacking him into the floor.

With Vejin and Ryuko fully exhausted, Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr had successfully won their clash. Goku Jr remarks: "Well, you two really know how to give us a serious workout!" Vegeta Jr smirks: "I agree. You boys had pushed us to nearly use all of our power. I'm very impressed with you two.." Vejin clenches his fist a little bit as he was slightly irritated to hear that. But, Vejin quickly let it go and just needs to focus up on his training. Ryuko gets himself back up: "Alright. Grandpa, I think we're done with training today" Goku Jr smiles back at Ryuko: "Alright Ryuko, let's go." Goku Jr and Ryuko then leave the chamber.

Goku Jr and Ryuko would just have some very small chit chat, as Letuce and Oritsu come on by the two of them. "Yo, Ryuko! You gotta come with us real quick!" Letuce tells Ryuko. Ryuko gets up out of his seat and follows the duo: "Alright grandpa, we'll chat later!" He'd catch up to the two of them: "So, what's up?" Letuce tells Ryuko something: "Well nothing much. Just me and Oritsu hanging out together. Thought you could join in." Ryuko remarks: "Alright, sure, I'll join" Kiki walks on by the trio: "Oh, hey you guys!" The 3 of them wave back to Kiki. Kiki quickly thought of something to tell Oritsu: "Oh, by the way Oritsu, can I pull you aside for a second?" Oritsu raises an eyebrow: "Uh..sure" Kiki pulls Oritsu aside as she discusses about a new project she's been working on.

However, Ryuko and Letuce have their own conversation. Letuce starts it off very blunt: "Dude. I'm not gonna lie about this one." Ryuko looks at Letuce: "Hm? About what?" Letuce smirks at Ryuko: "Don't you think that his sister is kinda hot?" Ryuko gets a bit red and shakes it off: "What? Dude, no! Also, the way you said that and looked at me was extremely weird…" Ryuko calms himself down: "Well…I don't think she's not hot…" He smirks back at Letuce. Letuce dabs him up: "My man…" Oritsu comes back to see the shenanigans they're doing: "What in the hell did I miss?" Ryuko just plays it off: "Ah, it was nothing man.." Letuce had no patience in telling Oritsu: "We thought that your sister was kinda hot." Oritsu bashes the both of them square on the noggin hard, leaving a comically large bump on their heads. Both Ryuko and Letuce had their hands on their heads. Letuce shouts: "Ouch! Dammit man, what was that for!?" Oritsu screams at the two of them: "YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHY YOU GUYS! I can't believe you two would go so low…"

After an hour or so, they sit outside of Capsule Corp together as the breeze flows through. "You know…" Ryuko says. "I'm glad that we've been at peace. I've missed it." Oritsu smirks: "Hmph. Well of course. After a well fought battle, it would be rewarding to have a time of peace." However, what seemed to be an asteroid, enters the atmosphere. This was no asteroid. It was a ship! Containing 4 high power levels. Ryuko, Letuce, Oritsu, and Vejin all quickly sense their powers. Ryuko, Letuce, and Oritsu quickly sprint into action high-tailing it to the ship's crash location. Vejin smirks as he's finally ready for some action as he trails right behind the three. Up on the lookout, B'az senses the disturbance and quickly heads down. It appears that times of peace were short lived.

The Lost Warrior: Saito (#1)

In the middle of the unknown outskirts of space, we see the mysterious saiyan from before. The saiyan smirks: "Now then. Everything's going great. It's all on schedule. Next stop is-" However, there was someone else on the ship held as a prisoner. It was Saito! The once thought to be dead saiyan was left imprisoned on the mysterious saiyan's ship. Saito faintly speaks: "I will…make sure that…you pay for…this…" The mysterious saiyan just laughs: "You're lucky I even bothered to pick you up after that carnage I did…You'll be a great asset to me.." The mysterious saiyan would activate a communicator on the ship to talk to a private line.

The mysterious saiyan would talk to whoever was on the other end: "Alright. Your mission is to take out a saiyan on Earth." The other voice on the other end of the communicator spoke: "A saiyan. Show me the target." The mysterious saiyan sent a holographic image of someone we know. The other voice responded: "Got it." The mysterious saiyan tells the target's name to the other voice. "This is our target?" The other voice questioned. The mysterious saiyan looked agitated: "Is there a problem with my choice in target?" The other voice tells the saiyan: "No. He appears to be nothing is all. But we'll get the job done."

Saito heard the whole conversation, including the target's name on Earth. Saito wants to prevent whoever is coming after the target from the hands of the voice, or the saiyan. So in a swift effort, he quickly has an adrenaline boost and fires a blast at the holding cell he's in. An explosion occurs and Saito makes a run for it. The ship they're in starts sounding alarms. On the monitor, the saiyan sees Saito escaping: "Heh heh heh heh…You think you can escape from me, Saito? Think again…" The mysterious saiyan is on the move, hunting down Saito with no intent on slowing down.
