"I am a cat and I like it like that. I wash my butt in a laundro-mat." Jibanyan sang as he sat on the roof of the weird old lady's house. In his right paw was a chocobar, his favorite dessert. Ah chocolate, his favorite flavor. He took one bite and already felt like he was in heaven. "You sure you don't want a bite?" Jibanyan asked, shoving the chocolate bar in the face of his future self. The older Jibanyan looked back at his younger self with a smile. "Eat up little me." he simply said, Jibanyan simply shrugged. "Your voice gets real deep in the future." Whisper said, floating next to him. Jibanyan turned to him, a blank stare on his face. "How come you don't have hair now?" he asked, pointing to the swirl on Whisper's head. "This is my hair." Whisper retorted, messing with the swirl on his head. "Nice try baldie, there is not a single hair on your head." Jibanyan said, pointing his paw at him. "Is too!" Whisper yelled back, glaring at the red cat. The two began to argue while their future selves looked on from the otherside of the roof. "Can you believe we were ever like that?" the Future Whisper asked, to which Jibanyan shook his head. "I remember vigorously punching you, but I don't remember arguments like this." Jibanyan said, his paws in the front of his belly band. "Weirdly enough, we supposedly both knew Komasan in the past." Whisper said, looking over to the dog Yo-kai on the other side of the roof. The dog Yo-kai looked over at the sheer mention of his name. "At least we don't turn out like him." The past Whisper said, to which the past Jibanyan nodded. "Komasan was cute back then, this guy… not so much." Past Jibanyan said, holding up a picture of the past Komasan. The three future Yo-kai looked over. "I do not remember being in that form at all." Future Komasan said.

Jibanyan blinked, before looking over at his future self. "You remember how you became a Yo-kai… right?" His future self nodded. "Yeah, we saved Amy from getting hit by a truck, it took me a while to remember though. I had to meet up with her daughter." Jibanyan's future self stated, making Jibanyan's eyes widen for a brief moment. "Amy has a… more on that later." Jibanyan turned to the dog Yo-kai. "And how did you die?" Jibanyan asked, the dog Yo-kai hummed. "I was crushed by that Komainu statute right over there." Komasan motioned the two past Yo-kai over to the komainu statue. "That… that doesn't add up. Come to think of it, I don't think we ever knew how Komasan died." the Past Whisper said, to which Jibanyan nodded. "Then it's settled, nyan." the red cat Yo-kai said. He turned around, pointing at the dog Yo-kai. "You aren't actually Komasan." Past Jibanyan said with a nod, getting a few eyebrows raised at him. "What do you mean by that?" the Future Jibanyan said. Jibanyan began to sweat nervously. "I-I-I mean, he-he IS Komasan, just not th-the Komasan, nyan." the red cat chuckled. "Plausible theory because until we met fighting the Oni King, I had no recollection of you two." Komasan said. "S-See, it all makes sense, haha." Jibanyan chuckled, sweat still running down his face. He simply walked back to his side of the roof and began to eat chocobars once more. "You need to have more confidence in yourself, you're going to turn out like him one day." Jibanyan glared at him, "I can't help it, I can't turn all big and scary like that." Jibanyan whispered, the white ghost leaned forward.

"Just be more confident, it's you. Even if you could die, that would get rid of him anyway so it's not like he can kill you." Whisper stated, Jibanyan went deep into thought. "You're right, nyan! Thanks Whisper." Jibanyan said, to which Whisper puffed out his chest. "It's my duty to serve you and master Nate." he gave a toothy grin, his teeth shined for some reason. "You sure suck at that." Jibanyan chuckled, which started up another argument. From down on the ground, the children watched. Nate had a drop of sweat going down the back of his head. "Are they always like that?" Cole asked, taking a sip of his drink. "Well… sometimes." Nate answered, scratching the back of his head. "I've never seen them fight before… probably because I've never seen the two talk much before." Summer said, taking a bite of an apple. "Really? Because when you live with them, they can be pretty annoying." Nate scratched the back of his head once again. "I don't really live with Yo-kai, most of them live here." Summer said, to which Nate scoffed. "Lucky." he mumbled under his breath. "So, you live with Yo-kai at your house, are your parents okay with that?" Isabelle asked, "They don't know." Nate responded, taking a bite out of a cookie he bought. "The Yo-kai I live with stay hidden most of the time, Hidabat and the two Slippy I live with." Nate took another bite out of his chocolate chip cookie. The texture was unlike anything he had tasted, and it was chewy too. "...who?" Bruno asked, to which Nate looked at him. "Y'know, Hidabat, one of the richest Yo-kai in the Yo-kai World?" Nate asked, raising an eyebrow. Everyone just looked at him like he lost his mind, before Summer spoke up. "I'm sorry… I don't think I met them yet." She chuckled, Nate put down his cookie. "What about Faux Kappa?" Nate asked, a drop of sweat appeared down the faces of the Yo-kai detective agency. "Once again… who?" Bruno asked. Whisper floated down in the middle of the picnic. "HOW DARE YOU NOT KNOW WHO THAT CLASSIC YO-KAI IS!" Whisper said, steam coming from the top of his head. Nate simply pushed him away. "Alright, Roughraff, surely you met Roughraff." Nate said, to which the Detective Agency looked at him puzzled. Jibanyan jumped down next to Nate. "Well, you must know of the other cat yo-kai, nyan." Jibanyan said.

"There are other cat Yo-kai?!"

Jibanyan fell to the ground as soon as he heard that. "Okay, what about someone like… Manjimutt. Someone here must know Manjimutt right?" Nate asked, to which everyone blinked. "I think Whisper mentioned him… once…" Summer said, she tried to shoot Nate a reassuring smile, but the twelve year old boy wasn't buying it. "Are all the friends I made just… gone?" Nate asked, he clutched his head with one hand. He stood up and turned around, "I'm sure they're still around, we just haven't encountered them." Summer patted her father on the shoulder. "I would have seen them by now, Usapyon… Tomnyan… even Komajiro." Nate said, twiddling his thumbs. "I don't think Tomnyan being here is a good thing, imagine how annyaoying he would be in the future." Jibanyan said. "Okay… but what about Usapyon, or Komajiro?" Nate asked. "Ah, so you know Komajiro as well." the Future Komasan floated downwards. "Yeah, he's your brother, or well, Komasan's brother, my Komasan." Nate said, scratching the side of his head. "He was my brother too. We were both crushed by that komainu statue over there." Komasan motioned over to the statue. The three from the past looked over at the statue. "That must have hurt a lot." Nate said. "You would think, but it was painless." Komasan said. The dog Yo-kai then looked up into the sky. "Komajiro however, never became a Yo-kai like me…" the dog trailed off. "Huh, really?" Nate asked, his eyes widened. The dog Yo-kai nodded with sadness. "That's… so sad." Isabelle said, walking forward to the dog and petting it. "Yeah, I can't exactly see Komasan without Komajiro behind him. Even the BBQ version has a Komajiro." Nate said, looking down in sadness.

"I'm sorry, what?"

Nate had a drop of sweat roll down his head as he looked behind him to see the future Yo-kai detective agency stare at him. "Y-You don't know about BBQ? The place on the West Coast?" Nate asked, even the future Yo-kai shook their heads alongside the humans. "Wow, the future is so different that now entire places are just disappearing." Whisper said. "That's… actually kind of shocking, nyan." Jibanyan said. The entire past trio then began to explain an entire country on the west coast known as BBQ. They were so lost in the explanation that they didn't notice the Yo-kai looming above them. "There he is." Shutendoji said, looking down at the boy in the red shirt and the weird looking watch. "Are… are you sure? He looks kind of… average." Voidera said. "You heard what the cat said, we're looking for someone average to take out. Take him out, along with the rest of the detective agency, his plans won't be foiled." Shutendoji said. "Master… should we be trusting the cat Yo-kai anyway?" Voidera asked. Looking back, the cat wasn't exactly… well, it was hard to describe what the three were. They weren't competent, that was for sure. "We're just using them to get to the big guy. He'll tell us all about the princess." Shutendoji said, looking down at the ground. The three were already on their way. "Our cue will be soon, get ready." Shutendoji said, Voidera nodded, taking out his sword. They could hear everything that was going on the ground. "AW COME KID! I JUST WANNA SHOW YOU MY CHAINSAW AND HOCKEY MASK!" the black cat Yo-kai said, stumbling around while swinging a chainsaw. He seemed to have a hard time holding it because it didn't take long for him to fall and the chainsaw to go flying into the ground. The children blinked, looking at the black cat as the mask fell off. "DOPPEL! You said I would get to hold the chainsaw, zura!" The weird dog Yo-kai said, flailing his arms about in rage. "Dani?" The otter in the spacesuit said, holding his blaster. "How come he gets a weapon? I want a weapon too, zura." the dog Yo-kai said, a tick mark appearing behind his head. "Hey, isn't that…" Nate trailed off. "Komasan and Usapyon? Sort of, they have weird colors." Whisper said. The three turned around to find the humans. "Hey, isn't that Nate, zura?" the Komasan look-alike said. "Hey, if that's the legendary Yo-kai master, nyan. Then…" the black cat Yo-kai turned over to the boy in the blue shirt. "Who's this bozo?" he asked.

"Hey Whisper, do you know who they are?"

Whisper looked at his master, although he wasn't looking at him. He was looking at his future self. "Hmmmmmmm…" the future Whisper racked his brain, everyone was so focused on the future Whisper that all eyes were off him… this was good. Whisper quickly pulled out his Yo-kai pad and began to search. They looked like Usapyon and the Komasan from his time period, so they must be on the Yo-kai pad. "AHA!" Whisper said, causing everyone to turn to him. "They are from our time period actually." Whisper said, clearing his throat. Nate and Jibanyan looked at Whisper. "HUH?! HE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO LOOK IT UP?!" Nate asked. "Of course, I keep telling you that I only use the Yo-kai pad to make sure my vast knowledge of Yo-kai is correct." Whisper said, striking a pose. "Actually, he just looked it up while you guys were focused on the other guy, dani." the Usapyon look-alike said. Whisper turned to stone and fell to the ground. "Makes… sense." Nate said, scratching the back of his head. No point in hiding it now, Whisper took out his Yo-kai pad and showed everyone the Yo-kai. "Those three are Yo-criminals, their names are Doppelnyan, Komasham, and Intrudapyon." Whisper said. Doppelnyan was the black cat Yo-kai that looked similar to Jibanyan. He was almost one to one in terms of body shape, even having a chunk of his ear missing. However, the colors were the main difference. Doppelnyan was a black cat with a blue stomach band and purple fire at the end of his tails. The inside of his ears were yellow as well. Komasham and Intrudapyon had the same appearances as their counterparts, Komasan and Usapyon. Of course, the colors were different. The fire on Komasham was pink, and the bag on his back was blue. His body was still white, but his belly was brown. Intrudapyon had a green space suit instead of a yellow one. The otter itself was pink instead of the blue Usapyon had. Parts of his space suit were red, and the blaster he had was blue and red instead of blue and orange. "Intrudapyon's crime is smuggling Yo-kai soda out of the store. Komasham's crime is impersonating an officer. Doppelnyan's crime is…" Whisper froze… did he, did he actually do that? "What… what's his crime?" Cole asked, looking at the pad. He became just as shocked as Whisper. The human and the Yo-kai turned to Doppelnyan. "Oh come on, you would do it too, nyan!" Doppelnyan said. "What… what did he do?" Bruno asked, looking at Cole's shocked face. "You do not want to know." Cole said sternly, taking the sacred armory out of his pocket. "Must be serious if you are going to start off with Lord Acala." Bruno said.

"You have those… possession summons right? They're your friends or whatever, luckily, we have some friends of our own." Doppelnyan said. The crew waited… for only nothing to happen. "I SAID! WE HAVE SOME FRIENDS OF OUR OWN!" Doppelnyan said. Shutendoji blinked, "Uh, we're right here." he said, everyone jumped out and away from the two Yo-kai behind them. "What… were you doing, nyan?" Doppelnyan asked. "You said we needed to kill the Legendary Yo-kai Master and the others, we were going to get them from surprise and, yknow." Shutendoji said, motioning to the sword Voidera was holding. "You were going to… SLICE MY HEAD CLEAN OFF?!" Nate screamed, holding his neck in fear. "Yeah, pretty much." Shutendoji said, a sinister smile appeared on his face. "Why are all the Yo-kai from the future so violent?" Jibanyan asked, hopping in front of Nate for protection. "Ah right, you're from the past, the calmer time, never actually fought much before have you?" Shutendoji asked. "NYOT TRUE! I'll have you know that I fight trucks every day." Jibanyan said, to which Nate had a drop of sweat roll down the back of his head. "I'm so dead." Nate sighed, to which the Future Jibanyan stepped in. "Oi, you wanna get to them, you go through us." Jibanyan was already in his Shadowside form, cracking knuckles. Komasan's flames began to grow, covering his body, they grew larger and larger until Komasan was in his Shadowside form. "WHY IS HE SO SCARY?!" Whisper said, floating in front of the Shadowside Komasan. "I will do everything to protect Princess Summer." Sly said, stepping in front of Summer to protect her. "You'll just get flung away like all the other times, Charlie is more capable than you." Summer said, looking over at the bike Yo-kai, who was cowering away in the bushes, only to perk up as his name was called. "Yeah, go on in there, you can do it!" Summer said, Charlie had a small blush on his face, nodding. He transformed into his shadowside form, Ghostcycle, and drove in there.

"I'll help too, nyan!" Jibanyan said, leaping onto the seat of Ghostcylce and putting on a cool pair of sunglasses. Doppelnyan and the other two Yo-criminals ran up to Shutendoji and Voidera. "It's cute, they think they can win against us." Doppelnyan said, his arms crossed. "Oh boy, just think about it! Boss will be awfully happy if we bring him the heads of the Yo-kai Detective Agency and The Legendary Yo-kai Master, zura." Komasham said, his hands on his cheeks. "I can see it nyow, three Yo-criminals kill Nathan Adams, nothing to stop Lord-" Intrudapyon was hit in the head with a paper fan. "DON'T SAY HIS NYAME!" Doppelnyan screamed, a tick mark appearing on the side of his head. "Dani…" was all Intrudapyon could say, he had a splitting headache. "We'll join too!" Bruno said, he created a star out of the air and grabbed it, chucking it at the three Yo-criminals. Doppelnyan leapt into the air and came crashing down screaming "KITTY RANGE ATTACK!" Bruno leapt out of the way as Isabelle screamed, having trouble creating the star in the air while Intrudapyon was firing his blaster. Over with the two cat Yo-kai, they were busy fighting Voidera, who proved to be a challenge, especially with his long sword. Jibanyan landed on the ground in a heroic stance, watching as his future self punched Voidera, who blocked it with his sword. "PAWS OF FURY!" his future self screamed, proceeding to throw a flurry of punches at Voidera, who was simply blocking them all with his large sword that Jibanyan thought was way too large for one person to handle. Jibanyan used this time to sneak up from behind and do his own Paws of Fury. "PAWS OF FURY! NYANYANYANYANYANYA!" Jibanyan screamed, throwing the punches to the back of Voidera. Voidera was caught off guard and winced in pain while Jibanyan's future self slammed him into the ground. "Not bad little me." Future Jibanyan said, the small cat chuckled and scratched the back of his head. Voidera raised his sword, a spiral of fire appeared around it and with a quick spin, knocked both Yo-kai to the ground. "Nya…" both Jibanyan's said as Voidera got up. "JIBANYAN!" the master shouted, Voidera glared at him. The Yo-kai tightened his grip on his sword, not taking his eyes off the boy. The average boy simply took a step back, holding what appeared to be a purple medal in his hands. "Come on out my friend, calling Lord En-" the boy was shot at, dropping the medal to the ground. "Not today, dani!" the rabbit-otter thing said, firing countless shots at the humans. As goofy as the three criminals were, they were clever and had a game plan for this.

"KITTY RANGE ATTACK, NYAN!"

Doppelnyan ran forward with a punch to the future Komasan, only for the komainu Yo-kai to leap out of the way and the cat to fall on his face. Doppelnyan growled, hopping on his head. Intrudapyon was busy dealing with Nate and his kid so that they couldn't summon any Yo-kai, or get possessed by one if he was counting Cole. Doppelnyan didn't plan for that, Intrudapyon was smart. The cat pulled out his hockey mask and chainsaw, giving it a good pull. "Finyally, I get to show this off!" the cat exclaimed, the three Shadowside Yo-kai, alongside Shutendoji and Komasham, looked at him. Doppelnyan ran forward swinging the chainsaw left and right while screaming "WE'RE GOING TO WIN!" It seemed to scare off the purple three headed beast, but the demon bike and the dog were unaffected. The cat kept running around like crazy, swinging a chainsaw left and right like a crazy person. Komasan simply opened his mouth, his teeth began to glow and enlarge. The teeth bit down and opened, a large komainu statue appeared and fell down. Doppelnyan and Komasham both screamed in fear until Shutendoji came in and snatched the both of them, taking them out of harm's way. The two Yo-criminals let out a sigh of relief. "We'll take care of this." Shutendoji and Voidera both teamed up, going for the demon bike and the komainu Yo-kai. Shutendoji was cocky, such low class Yo-kai didn't require his full power. He delivered a gut punch into the dog, it howled in pain and turned back to his lightside form. Voidera, on the other hand, let the bike's chain wrap around his sword. With a grin, the sword began to ignite in flames, burning the rope and causing the bike to howl in pain. The bike fell to the ground, his eyes closing. "All too easy." Shutendoji said, to which the three Yo-criminals looked in shock. "So cool, zura!" Komasham said, to which he turned to find the humans. "Nyaw, for why we really came here, nyan." Doppelnyan said, the chainsaw revved up as he held it high above his head. "I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO HURT MY MASTER OR HIS CH-GAAAAAAAAH!" The past Whisper flew high into the air as Intrudapyon launched a powerful laser. "That was easy, dani." Intrudapyon said, aiming for the heads of the Detective Agency. "Make some moves, struggle all ya want, you're dead anyway, nyahaha!" Doppelnyan said. "Why… why are you trying to kill us?" Isabelle said, clasping her hands together with a look of fear on her face. She stepped forward, trying to hopefully reason with them.

"Amaaazin! She's cuter than a house full of kittens, zura!" Komasham said, to which Doppelnyan looked at him with a sweat drop going down the back of his head. "You're all a threat to the boss' plans, no matter how you look at it, you ain't walking out of this alive." Doppelnyan said, "And if we kill y'all, we get to have the special tacos, dani!" Intrudapyon said, he put his hands on his helmet and blushed, thinking about how delicious the tacos would be. The soft, yet flavorful tomatoes, the crunchy shell, the wonderful sauce. He almost jumped as the chainsaw began to rev up again. "NYO!" The past Jibanyan jumped in, startling the five Yo-kai that were still standing. Jibanyan was struggling to stand, but he wouldn't go down until he was nothing but dust. "You… You won't hurt them, nyot if I'm still standing." Jibanyan said. In the background, he could hear Cole doing his possession summon, Nyate summoning one of his Yo-kai friends, and Summer doing the same. Jibanyan grinned, taking a fighting stance, he was ready.

"WWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!"

Whisper landed on Jibanyan, they both collided. Summer stopped her summoning and looked as lighting suddenly struck the field. The future detective agency looked in shock as the past versions of Jibanyan and Whisper seemed to fuse together. When the lightning stopped, Whisper's swirl was between the two ears of Jibanyan, the red cat was now a white cat with red spots all over his body. A gray stomach band replaced the original yellow one and the fire at the end of the tails was a darker blue. The cat began to twirl as Lord Acala floated onto the scene. "BUCHINYAN!" the cat said, striking a pose, everyone seemingly looked at him. "B-Buchinyan…?" the future Whisper asked, floating over to the cat yo-kai, the future Jibanyan did the same. "Hi! I'm Buchinyan! Half smart, half cat!" Buchinyan introduced. "Could… could we always do this?" Whisper asked, Jibanyan shrugged, just as confused as Whisper is. "DUDE YOUR BREATH STINKS!" Buchinyan screamed, there was an audible shocked gasp coming from Buchinyan. "IT DOES NOT!" Buchinyan screamed. "What… what am I looking at?" Tate asked, Nate scratched the back of his head. "Whisper and Jibanyan can fuse, and then they become Bu-are you starting to disappear?" Nate asked, Tate raised an eyebrow at him. "I think you're losing it." Tate said, turning back to the fight at hand. "Doesn't matter if they fused, we can take them out." Shutendoji grinned, maybe these low class Yo-kai can actually put up a fight. "You." Buchinyan looked to see a floating Yo-kai with curly boots, a black, blue, and gold robe, gray skin and long white hair holding a blue sword staring him down. "NYA-WHISSU!?" Buchinyan fell to the ground in shock.

"LIGHTNING GUY, NYAN!"

Doppelnyan and the others seemed to go into a panic, all the while Shutendoji grinned, "Even better, we can just take his sacred armory and flee the scene." Shutendoji said, this will be somehow better than he imagined. He took a fighting stance, ready to fight. "NYOPE!" Doppelnyan suplexed Shutendoji and threw him into a car, doing the same thing with Voidera. "WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING?!" Shutendoji screamed, this was insane! "This ain't over, we'll be back, nyan!" Doppelnyan jumped in the car, and floored it out of there. "DANI!?" Intrudapyon screamed. "WAIT FOR US, ZURA!" Komasham and the other Yo-criminal ran off, their feet making high pitched noises as they ran away. "Hmph, couldn't even put up much of a fight." Lord Acala said. "Hey, guy with the sword." Acala turned to find the cat on the ground, pulling at the swirl on his head.

"SEPARATE US ALREADY!"

A/N: Admittedly, I think this has a rushed ending, but I'm still very proud of how this chapter turned out. I know it took a while, but I found myself getting a writers block (happens with me more than you'd think) and just working on Fnaf stuff rather than this because of all the reveals that have been happening. The Fnaf movie, lore finally getting cleared up after so long, awesome merch. There has been a lot happening but I never forgot this story, I keep the google doc of this story open all the time and I usually get to it after a good while. One thing that bugged me though, were the three Yo-criminals in this chapter. They are the main ones you will be seeing throughout the story and can be considered "the big bads" of this story alongside Voidera and Shutendoji. I wanted them to be taken seriously, but also be cartoony at the same time. It was hard to balance that and I don't know if I did well with it, you can be the judge of that. Next few chapters will be taking place in the past, think of that as you will. We're about reaching the halfway point of this story, more characters will be introduced next chapter, alongside the true big bad of this story. You might know him, he's a real treat.
