"Left…Right…Left…Right." Naruto called out in tandem as his partner slowly through punches in a monotonous faction as he maintained cinder blocks on his arm. Utter determination was on Coronamon's face as well as sweat dripping down his brow. "Stop." Naruto called out to his Digimon. "I trust you sought me out for a reason Matsuki-san?"

The flustered boy made his presence from behind the trees known. He had been waiting there the last five minutes as he watched in awe at the duo's determination and focus to training. It was also the fact that the blond was rather intimidating and Takato was afraid of how he would act.

"H-Hey listen…I was thinking about what you said to Lee-san yesterday about how dangerous out of control Digimon are and I was wondering…" he trailed off as sweat beaded his brow.

"Wonder what?"

"Guilmon isn't a bad Digimon you know, he's just…its hard to say. I mean you can help us right? Give us a few pointers? I don't know anything about being a Tamer and I really don't like the idea of fighting but I don't want people to get hurt or lose Guilmon. "

"I was wondering if you and Coronamon would be willing to give Guilmon and me a few pointers on how to keep that from happening, help us train you know," Takato was getting desperate by this point, he thought that Naruto wasn't taking him seriously.

"This is a rather interesting development. If you truly are serious about improving yourself bring your partner here tomorrow and we'll begin training. " As he finished this statement he saw elation on the kid's face.

"Right we'll be there." He promised.

At the Nonaka household, Ruki was getting ready for her day. She did her typical routine of brushing her teeth, combing her hair, and putting it up in a ponytail. She shot herself a quick smile in the mirror; today was going to be the day. "You ready Renamon?"

Said Digimon nodded in confirmation. Like her partner she was looking forward to testing herself against the duo of Naruto and Coronamon.

Ruki and Renamon arrived to the location Naruto told them. To their surprise Takato and Guilmon was there. "What's going on? Why is goggles here?" The sharp tongue tamer asked as Naruto turned to her and greeted her with a grin.

"Aah just in time Ruki-san. As for why Matsuki-san is here, he came to me for my assistance in training his partner. He wishes to avoid a berserker scenario like what happened with Terriermon."

Ruki sent a cold look to the boy who shuddered under the intense gaze of the girl. "Tch," she remarked as she and her partner made her way over. "I suppose there's hope for you after all." Despite the back handed way it was said there was a semblance of a compliment behind the red-head's words. "This isn't going to interfere with our match is it?"

"Straight to the point as always I see," Naruto folded his arms and looked between the two of them. "As for a spar Ruki-san, while I'm sure you're eager to test your partners power we're going to put a hold on that."

"What!" she snapped as her posture and gaze became heated. "Then what was the point of us coming all the way out here?" The grin on the blond's face only further served to piss her off.

"For training of course; now that you and your partner have finally established a bond we can deepen that connection and teach you how to tap into your heart power."

"Heart power?" Ruki snorted derisively.

"Think of it what you will, without heart power your partner can't grow stronger or digivolve, or have you already forgotten?"

Ruki tensed and reluctantly focused her full attention on the blond. "Alright then, what's this heart power?"

"Heart power is essentially the living bond between a chosen child and their partner. The stronger that bond is the more powerful the Digimon becomes. Heart power is what allows partnered Digimon to transcend the limits of their brethren. It also allows them to transcend the experience requirement to digivolve by borrowing energy from their partner. The more a Digimon and their partner train and bond the stronger this connection becomes. Every Chosen Child symbolizes a certain virtue deep down in their core. Courage. Friendship. Sincerity. Love. Kindness. Knowledge. Reliability. And there are those who can embody the greater traits of humanity. Light and Hope. The greatest gift of all, the greatest trait that is rare even among these chosen partners is the power of Miracles. I myself and a few other Chosen Children, usually the Leader of the chosen have tapped into this power. This power comes forth when the bond of all virtues is brought forth. I'm going to be showing you four two very important things. How to bring out and utilize your heart power and how to bring out the full potential you all possess. The first thing we will be doing is meditation."

"Oh you mean like on TV when those guys sit Indian style and go like….oohmmmmm."

Naruto couldn't help but shake his head at Takato's enthusiasm.

"And what is meditation supposed to do exactly?" Ruki asked, resting a hand on her hip.

"Once you reach a meditative state you'll be able to start sensing and visualizing the blond between you and your partner." Bringing out his Digivice a bright light erupted from it. Coronamon was enveloped by it and out of a burst of lights and flame the bipedal Digimon became a large beast resembling that of a winged lion.

All the others looked on at awe as power and majesty rolled off the champion. "He digivolved like it was natural." Renamon noted in awe.

Naruto couldn't help but chuckle. "If you think that's impressive he can maintain his champion form without having to revert. The more the Digimon trains the easier it is for them to maintain their higher forms until they run out of power and have to dedigivolve to recover their energy. Then again it would be impossible to keep Firamon out of sight if he were to maintain this form." The energy left Firamon and went back into the Digivice and Firamon turned back into Coronamon. "I'm not sure all the specifics of Digivolution of this dimension though, the process here felt different from the other world."

Takato and Ruki shared a look, did they hear him right. "Other world? What do you mean by that?"

"Well, its as I said, there are other worlds out there. Other Digital world plains and realities. Hence why I said when I first ran into you three that day you didn't seem like Chosen Children to me. I have met other Chosen Children, having come across the realm as I would interact with other cultures. It's a whole thing I rather not get into to; right now what we should focus on is educating you all on the specifics of Digivolution.

While not a process all Digimon can go under, Digivolution is a apart of their natural life cycle, with Digimon digivolving to stronger forms as a result of age and experience. As they gain data, skills or effect of a Digivice they will be transported into a Digivolution zone where they slowly Digivolve into Adult level Digimon or Champions as they seemed to be referred to in this plain. As I noted earlier the process here feels different from others I sense, while I could sense the bond between Ruki and Renamon the power or influence felt like it was from another source as well, this is something we're going to have to investigate later."

"What about the process after Champion level? Is it the same as Ultimate? How can you trigger an Ultimate evolution?" Ruki wondered as she was coming around to be invested in Naruto's term.

"The Super Evolution is essentially the rise to what is known as the Perfect form of Digimon. This form is touted as Ultimate as most Digimon will only be able to rise to this level of digivolution. This form of Evolution required the Chosen Children to tap into the power of their virtue. Most Digimon won't reach this state without constant combat experience or without reaching a certain level of experience without age.

Then there is the Mega Digivolution, the Ultimate Level reseerved for Digimon with chosen children partners or Digimon of great importance to the overall design of the Digital World's future. It is the ultimate stage where only few Digimon like the Sovereigns can ever reach."

"Who are these Digimon Soveriegns?" Takato wondered out loud.

"While I don't know if the Sovereigns are the exact same as the ones I know of, I know that Sovereigns, are the Harmoinious Ones, Four Holy Beasts of the Mega Level that have taken on the appearance of Kyoto's four guardian spirits. They represent and rule over the four points of the world. If I'm remembering correctly there is supposed to be one more, one that rules the center and supervises the others. All and all each of the four points are supposed to have subordinates under them known as Devas, once again I don't know if it applies to this domain.

Anyway the power of Mega Digivolution for the Chosen has been a result of mastering their virtues and bonds to the fullest potential to where their partners can even Warp Digivolve, allowing their partners to digivolve from Rookie to the stage of Mega straight out.

Now of course there are still various other types of Digivolution out there like armor, DNA, and the likes, but nothing so far has suggest that there are capabilities like this in this dimension so I won't go over them for now, but I will warn you of one possibility, one path of Digivolution Chosen Children are not exempt from.

Dark Digivolution, a corrupted form of digivolution that corrupts the heart and mind of a Digimon. When forcefully digivolved by a dark outside influence or by negative feelings of their partner the dark digimon's mind is often clouded with rage or other negative emotions. Its only instinct is to destroy everything around it, even their partner is not safe."

"Oh man," Takato clutched his head. "I'm going to need some paper and a pen so I can right this all down."

While Ruki would never admit it out loud she was impressed. This Naruto guy seemed to know his stuff. As much as she really hated to do this, if she wanted Renamon to get stronger she was going to have to swallow her pride. It was in his own words that he admitted her partner had potential and she wanted to see that potential for herself and she didn't want anything to happen to Renamon either.

The idea that her partner was not just mere data had Ruki doing some reflecting on a lot of things. As far as she knew these rogue Digimon were going to keep on attacking and there was someone or something out there who knew of the existence of tamers or would be targeting them. They needed to be ready.

"So the lecture is over right? Are we going to get to meditating or what?" The redhead asked as Naruto once wore that grin that seemed to wear on her nerves.

"Very well then…training begins now."
