Chapter 12
Brother Dearest
"Brother?"
Garmadon turned.
"What... what are you doing?" Garmadon's smirk mocked him from across the room as four golden weapons found themselves in his cold hands. Wu's eyebrows furrowed.
"Those weapons are not to be possessed by any one man, Brother." Garmadon's smirk curled into a sinister smile as his younger brother rested in a fighting stance, bamboo staff in hand like a sword.
"Then I guess you'll have to stop me... Brother."
Wu's eyes snapped open. Rapid beeping filled his ears as people moved around him. Turning slightly, confusion fell as his surroundings began to register.
"Sensei, are you alright?" Tilting his head to the left, the older man met Jay's worried eyes.
"Yes, I'm fine." His voice was weak, but not strained.
"Sensei... what happened?" He turned his head in the opposite direction, seeing as Cole moved to stand next to him. Looking around the room, he saw the attention the three boys were giving him. A deep sigh left his chest as he closed his eyes. Upon opening them, he would have given anything to avoid the truth that blatantly glared back at him.
"Garmadon has returned."
Hey, y'all! First off, I want to thank those of you who have continued to read my fanfiction (especially after over a year of waiting for chapter ten). As per usual, all characters belong to the creators of Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu.
I would like to apologize for taking so long to update. As I've previously mentioned, it feels as though my life has been up in the air. As I continue to write, I hope to bring you all content that you enjoy.
I would also like to apologize for aging the ninja incorrectly. Upon looking online, I realized that I was way off. Please note that I got all of the characters' ages from the Legends of Ninjago Wiki and have changed them. Thankfully, this did not affect the story in any way and I was able to continue writing.
If you'd like to see their ages, please return to chapter six before continuing. Chapter one through twelve takes place one year before the pilot episode of Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu.

I wasn't really sure what to do with this chapter, so I figured it'd be a good place to insert Garmadon's fall into the Underworld (I recently discovered the mini movies and liked discovering how it went down). Thank you all for your support, and I'll see you in the next chapter!
