El Tigre is running through the rain until he reached his apartment building he sighed and entered the lobby.
Meanwhile in the apartment, Roldolfo is pacing back and forth. "Where is he? He's been gone for hours." He said.
"I just hope he's alright hasn't wasted his last life doing something reckless." Maria said as she began breathing in and out of a paper bag.
"Come on, I'm sure that Manny is absolutely fine." Grandpapi assured. "He is probably going to walk in the house and be absolutely fine."
Right on cue the door opened up revealing Manny scared and tears forming in his eyes. He ran towards his parents and hugged them both. "Are you alright sweetie? Where have you been? Are you bleeding?" Maria asked.
"Manny what happened to you?" Roldolfo asked.
"It… it was horrible! I ran away in the middle of fighting a villain, you guys!" Manny stated in sadness. "I wasn't El Tigre, today! I was a… a coward!"
"It's alright sweetie." Maria said as she stroked Manny's head. "You're not a coward."
"You're not a coward. Tell us what happened." Roldolfo said.
"It's… too long. I basically got my butt kicked by this creepy guy with red eyes." Manny explained.
"Creepy guy with red eyes?" Grandpapi questioned.
"I couldn't fight him." Manny said. "I don't want to be El Tigre anymore."
"So, you've finally decided to retire?" Rodolfo asked.
"Yes, dad." Manny replied sadly.
"Should I call Frida and tell her about it?" Maria asked.
"If there's gonna be a funeral for the great El Tigre, then I'm gonna want her to be there." Manny answered.
"Anything you want sweetie. You're making the right choice." Maria said.
"The right decision to be a quitter." Grandpapi muttered.
At the Miracle City Graveyard, the Riveras and Frida were sitting down on chairs as they looked into a hole with Manny's El Tigre costume and belt in it. Manny then walked in front of everyone with a a rope tied around his pants.
"Frida, family. We are gathered here today to say good bye to El Tigre." Manny said gesturing to the hole. "He was an amazing hero brave, handsome and heroic."
"And a bit of a goof." Frida snickered.
"There are no words to express a huge loss like this one. So, I'm not going to say anymore." Manny said before he walked away. But then, he immediately walked back to his post. "But it would be a terrible crime not to." Manny said. "He was one of the greatest Rivera supers to have ever been born. He would either want to be a hero with his dad, or a villain with his Grandpapi."
"He would have made an amazing hero." Rodolfo sighed.
"Or a villain." Grandpapi grumbled.
"Or an Anti-Hero." Frida said.
"He has been known to many as a troublemaker. To others, a lifesaver." Manny explained. "To one, a fearless legend. With that said, there are no more words to be expressed."
Manny theme walked away from ten front, leaving Frida and the Riveras to stare at the grave. "So do we start burying this suit now?" Frida asked breaking the silence.
"We could. Or I could honour El Tigre, AKA myself, with a very popular song!" Manny suggested as he immediately popped back in his previous spot.
"Oh come on." Frida grumbled.
"Who is your favourite fearless hero?" Manny sang as he slowly began to breakdown in tears. "Who is your favourite… fearless… hero…"
Manny then got on his knees and cried his heart out. Maria helped him back on his feet and escorted him away.
"I'll take it from here." Grandpapi said before using a shovel from his sombrero to bury up El Tigre's grave.
"Don't get so sad, dude. We can still of some of the awesome things we like doing when you're not El Tigre." Frida said with a smile.
"Thanks Frida." Manny said. "We can still have fun as Manny Rivera."
"And you can focus on more important things like finding a girlfriend, getting good grades, being accepted into college and starting your own family." Rodolfo replied.
"Oh joy." Manny said enthusiastically.
"Alright, let's all go home." Maria said before they all left the cemetery.
Meanwhile…
With the moon shining brightly, a large transportation vehicle that was made of bones was slowly driving its way across the place where El Tigre had his party and defeated El Mal Verde.
When the transport came to a halt, the driver's door opened up and jumping out of it was Django of the dead.
Django walked towards the footprints and inspected them. "He was here. These footprints are still fresh." Django siad.
"Are you sure El Tigre was here, man?" A voice asked as Django looked behind to see El Oso, Dr. Chipotle Jr, Dr. Chipotle Sr, General Chapuza, Che, Senor Siniestro, Cactus Kid and Sartana step out of their transportation.
"Dr Chipotle Jr highly doubts that El Tigre could have survived a fight with El Mal Verde." Dr Chipotle Jr admitted.
"I don't know man. El Tigre have survived some dangerous stuff man." El Oso said.
"Looks like there was a crowd too." Che said.
"My grandson has never been wrong before. El Tigre has recently been here and we will find him." Sartana said.
"Great! Then let's go find him and do bad things with him!" Cactus Kid stated, much to the other villains' annoyance.
"Why did we even bring him along?" Senor Siniestro questioned.
"Well the Flock of Fury were a no show. Plus I have no idea what happened with Titanium Titan?" Sartana said.
"We couldn't ditch him?" Chaps a asked.
"He just kept asking me to let him come for hours until I gave in." Django said.
"Let's just get after that Rivera so we can trick him into getting us what we want." Chapuza replied.
"We just need to find Rivera." Django said. "We just need to follow the trail."
"Then let's start following it." Dr Chipotle Sr replied before he and the other villains got back inside the skeleton transport.
The transport then drove off to where El Tigre currently was.
In Miracle City, it's been fifteen hours since Manny officially retired and he was currently in his house watching some movies with Frida by his side.
"This is honestly relaxing. So how are you enjoying the movie Manny?" Frida asked.
"Honestly, it's pretty good." Manny said with a sigh. "I just never knew that retirement could be so boring."
"Quit being shut a downer, Manny. Now that you're not El Tigre anymore, we can do more hangout time with each other." Frida replied.
"Yeah I guess." Manny said as he rolled his eyes. "The day hasn't been over yet and retirement sucks."
"Try telling that to any of the so-called retired villains." Frida said.
"Speaking of them, my enemies are gonna learn I'm just an ordinary child now and they'll come over to my house so they can kill me." Manny reminded.
"Do not worry, Manny. I'll make sure that no villain will take your last life away." Rodolfo assured as he showed up from the dining room with Maria and Grandpapi.
"Yeah. My last life." Manny muttered depressingly.
Just then, the house's doorbell was rung.
"It's one of the villains! They've found me!" Manny exclaimed before jumping under the couch. "Who is it?! El Oso?! The Flock of Fury?! Senor Siniestro?! Sartana?!"
"Dude, I think you've overreacting." Frida said.
"I'll get the door." Maria said as she walked towards the door. She then opened up the door to see who was on the other side. "Hello?" Maria asked before becoming surprised by who was at the door.
Rodolfo and Grandpapi also looked to see who it was and they saw Silver Sombrero, Cosmic Cleopatra, the Industrialist and Flama Drama.
"Oh it's just the League of Alliance Society." Rodolfo said. "What brings you guys to Miracle City?"
"Is your son in here, Pantera? We have an offer for him." Silver Sombrero said.
"What could those guys want to offer me?" Manny asked quietly as he still hid under the couch.
"No clue." Frida replied.
"Is this about that party he threw, we can handle this." Maria said.
"It's not about that party." Silver Sombrero stated.
"We just need him to get something important for us. Is he around?" Cosmic Cleopatra asked.
"Actually, he's not around. He had to go to the beach with his troublemaking friend today and won't be back for hours." Rodolfo explained, earning an annoyed growl from Frida.
"Sorry. You heroes are going to have to come back another time." Grandpapi said.
"Ok, but the moment your son comes home. Tell him we need to talk to him." Industrialist Said.
"If you say so. Goodbye, now." Maria said before shutting the door.
"Now what? We need that map to find the star and get the wish before any villains do." Flama Drama reminded.
"We'll just have to get it ourselves tonight." Silver Sombrero replied. "Come on. We're going to Henriquez's factory this instant."
"Let's get going." Cosmic Cleopatra said. "You think we have time for coffee?"
"I can certainly make time." Industrialist replied.
"So, what did those heroes even want with me?" Manny asked as he get out from the couch.
"I have no idea, Manny." Rodolfo answered.
"Maybe they wanted you to start some team full of young heroes?" Frida shrugged.
"I'm not really much of a leader." Manny scoffed.
"And besides, you're retired now. You can't do anything related to hero or villain activity." Maria said.
"I haven't forgotten, mom. Anyway, I'm just gonna go for a walk on the streets." Manny said miserably before he walked to the front door. "I'll see all of you later."
Manny exits the apartment and shuts the door behind him. "You think retirement is affecting Manny?" Frida asked.
"Obviously." Grandpapi answered.
Manny was seen walking across the streets with a very bored expression on his face. Needless to say, being retired has made him very depressed on the inside.
"Hi there, Manny!" A voice said.
Manny turned around and sees Davi Roccoco or better known to himself Albino Burrito. "Oh it's you. Little Burrito." Manny replied with depression.
"You don't seem like yourself for some reason." Albino Burrito said.
"Oh really? What gave it away?" Manny questioned.
"Because you're looking very depressed by the look of your face." Burrito answered.
"It was a rhetorical question!" Manny snapped.
"Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Burrito said.
"Just leave me alone kid. I just want to be left alone and waste my time in retirement." Manny said.
"Retirement? Does that mean you're not El Tigre anymore?" Burrito asked in surprise.
"Of course. Now just go bother any of your other friends." Manny replied.
"You're my friend." Burrito said kindly.
"No, we're not!" Manny shouted. He then ran off as fast as he could, leaving Burrito by himself.
"Was it something I said?" Burrito questioned to himself.
Manny continued walking by himself as he began approaching the graveyard.
"What's the point? I'm down to my last life, so there's really nothing else I can do." Manny said. "Having one life means I can't risk getting into danger anymore. It's not like I can wish my nine lives back."
But when he went into the graveyard and walked up to a large tree, he noticed a large shadow looming over his graveyard and gasped before hiding behind the tree.
"Is that… him?" Manny asked fearfully.
When he slowly looked over the tree's side, he saw that it wasn't the Bounty Hunter. It was Django, Sartana and their gang of villains looking down on his grave.
"So El Tigre is dead man?" El Oso asked. "Aw man!"
"Well this sucks." Senor Siniestro said.
"He died as he lived an ego filled kid." Dr. Chipotle sr said.
"His grave his still fresh. Let's give him a wake up call." Django said as he pulled out his guitar and strums it. After a short amount of seconds, nothing happened.
"He must be a very deep sleeper in death." General Chapuza said.
"Well, I guess this means that the mission is off." Cactus kid admitted. "Why don't we all go and rob the Miracle City Mint?"
"I like that idea, man!" El Oso said eagerly.
"No!" Santana shouted. "We are not going to rob the Miracle City mint! We need to get the map to the wishing star before the heroes get it!"
"Wishing star?" Manny asked in a whisper. "So it's real?
I can wish for my lives back."
"Nana is right! That star has one wish to grant for anyone who gets to it!" Django stated. "Just think of what we could do with that wish! We can rid the entire world of superheroes or get all the treasures in the world!"
"Yes! This is my chance!" Manny remarked quietly.
"Manny? What's going on?" A voice asked as Manny looked to see his family, Frida and Burrito standing near him.
"Your little friends bumped into us and led us to where you were." Maria said.
"He's not my friend, Manny." Manny muttered with an eye roll. "Also, I'm just eavesdropping on some of the villains. They said that the wishing star is real and they're looking for it."
"The wishing star? The one from that dumb mythical tale?" Frida questioned.
"Yeah! The villains are saying that it's real!" Manny answered.
"So remind me who has the map again?" Cactus kid asked causing all the villains to groan.
"The map is in the possession of Jandro Henriquez." Santana answered.
"It's being delivered to his headquarters tonight." Django added.
"What?! Jandro Henriquez has it?!" Manny asked in frustration. "You've gotta be kidding!"
"Who's he?" Burrito asked.
"He is one of the most dangerous and evil crime bosses in the entire world." Rodolfo explained. "He usually spends his days having his minions build weapons for his contacts, while he does more personal things for himself."
"I've never decided to work with him. I'm a solo villain." Grandpapi said.
"We don't need to hire anyone to steal the map for us. Dr Chipotle Jr has a plan to get it." Dr Chipotle Jr said with a prideful smile.
"Really?" Che asked.
"Dr. Chipotle Jr will explain on the way." Dr. Chipotle Jr said as he and the villains enter the transport.
"It better work, baby genius." Django said before they all drove off.
The Riveras, Frida and Burrito then walked out from the tree.
"So, the map to the Wishing Star is being delivered straight to Jandro Henriquez." Rodolfo said. "Trying to get it from him will be extremely risky."
"But, dad, just think of what that wish can do!" Manny stated encouragingly.
"Of course. We can use that wish to finally rid all crime in Miracle City." Rodolfo replied. "It shall no longer be a spicy cesspool of crime and villainy."
"Uh… yeah. That's a good idea." Manny said with a sheepish smile.
"If my son is planning on stealing something, then I want to join!" Grandpapi declared.
"So will I! There's no way I'm gonna let you two go off to find the wishing star without me!" Manny stated.
"Aren't you supposed to be retried?" Frida asked.
"I'll just put that retirement on hold until I get back from the mission. Today, El Tigre is officially returning!" Manny said before he turned to Burrito. "Start digging out my costume, kid!"
"I'm on it." Burrito said as he grabbed a nearby shovel and started to dig El Tigre's grave and that's when El Tigre's suit is shown. "Here you go El Tigre."
Manny grabbed his costume and ran behind a tree and changed into his costume, and then he stepped out from behind the tree. "El Tigre!" He shouted.
However, the only things he was missing were his gloves which also had his metal claws.
"Manny, where are your gloves?" Maria asked.
"Oh, I decided to ditch them." El Tigre lied. "I thought that things were getting too easy with them in my arsenal."
"Well if you insist." Maria said.
"Now let's steal from Jandro Henriquez." Grandpapi said as he laughed evilly.
"I wonder say it would be stealing. I'd call it taking something from him that he stole." Rodolfo corrected.
"That's still called stealing, dad." El Tigre replied.
"I'm just feel unclean using that word." Rodolfo said.
"Get use to it." Frida replied.
"Well, let's get going!" El Tigre stated before he, Rodolfo and Grandpapi rushed off to their new destination.
"Wait! I want to help you, as well!" Burrito called out.
"And me! I wanna see if that star exists and rub it in the faces of those school jerks!" Frida stated.
"Sorry, you two! But you won't be accompanying us!" Rodolfo replied. "Maria can take both of you home!"
"We'll probably be gone for a few days!" El Tigre added.
"I just hope those few days don't cost Manny his last life." Maria said worriedly, while Frida and Burrito crossed their arms and grunted annoyingly.
