「It's Not My Fault」

"So you were abandoned by your parents, Kumagawa Misogi?..."

"「Well, Yor Briar, when you realize that you gave birth to such a Loser, like myself, it makes sense, I have no contempt or animosity towards them」"

In a normal-looking apartment, which seemed to have only basic needs and simple decorations like a few pictures of a certain brother and sister, the young adult woman, now known as Yor Briar, was in the middle of making some dinner, which looked like pure poison and toxicity, all the while speaking to her new guest in her home, which was the young 15-year-old boy, now known as Kumagawa Misogi, who honestly didn't seem interested to be there and was reading his manga still, though he didn't completely ignore his host; she interested him enough.

"Is that… A normal thing for a parent to do?"

Yor couldn't help but frown at that idea, even if she personally didn't understand the concept of 'normality'. Having dead parents, it still didn't sound right to her.

"「Well it's normal for me at least, though it's not like I really needed them anyway, I've been doing quite well living near trashcan and going to school for meals, it was pudding friday today, it was a good day」"

Miss Briar took a look back at Kumagawa, more specifically looking at his looks and the way he acts, despite having been given only small bits of information about his life of misfortune, he somehow manages to look happy and healthy; a bit underweight, and his smile seems, 'fake?' But she couldn't deny how unbothered and relaxed he seemed to be about everything... even so...

"Living near trash cans, shouldn't you be living at an orphanage? Even if your original parents left you, I'm sure someone would love to adopt you?"

Yor couldn't ignore it, and what she was about to hear next was enough to make her accidentally break her cooking utensils in her hand.

"「Why should I even bother? Nobody wants a Minus like me, not even from a place that wants unwanted people」"

Kumagawa simply flipped a page of his manga, caring so little about his current situation; in fact, he was honestly bored just talking about it. His interest was fading, and he was already thinking about just leaving.

"... That's not true, I know it isn't…"

After a moment of silence, Yor spoke up again, but this time, what she said actually made him look up from his manga and look straight at her, who paused her cooking and had her head down slightly.

"「Oh? You sound so sure of yourself, well then, tell me, you Normal」"

Kumagawa closed his manga and narrowed his eyes at Miss Briar; his smile grew small yet very mocking and evil.

"Who could possibly want someone like me?~"

Though before Kumagawa could continue to be smug and arrogant for being such a disgrace to humanity, the young woman that he was trying to break down looked back at him and said something that made him pause his despairing emotions.

"Well… If you would accept me, I could, well, hm…"

Yor felt a bit shy and nervous, though Misogi immediately understood what she was trying to say, not to mention he also knew when someone was being honest and true with their feelings, and not faking it all; this was definitely strange to someone like him, who could only respond by narrowing his eyes even more at her.

"Hm…"

The glare coming from Kumagawa made Miss Briar flinch and quickly look away

"I-I mean, I understand if you don't want to, I just, I just-"

Yor couldn't help but instantly feel rejected by his gaze, which caused her to frown and shake slightly out of emotional distress.

'What am I doing, I could never have a normal life… especially the type of lifestyle I live…'

As Yor was about to fall into a spiral of depression and the thought of being nothing or having nothing, she was quickly startled by the sound of laughter; she turned around and saw Misogi laughing with such joy and amusement, much to her extreme confusion.

"「Well I'm not stopping you from making any regrets in keeping around, hehe, so what should I call, Mom? Auntie? Grandma? A random stranger lady who just likes to take homeless kids from the streets and keep them for herself but definitely not in some weird creepy way?~」"

Kumagawa was giving her a very bright smile, which was full of joy and acceptance of her; this made her gasp and she couldn't help but feel extremely happy and warm from his approval.

"C-Call me your Mom, i-if that's ok with you!~"

Yor couldn't help but feel her heart filled with life and excitement for the new bright future she was now going to have.

"「OK Mom, what are we having for dinner, I'm starving!~」"

Kumagawa put the manga inside his shirt before neatly putting on his napkin and holding up his knife and fork, already acting so casual as if he had been a part of the family for a long time. This only served to improve the mood of his supposed new 'mother', who smiled as bright as the sun and quickly brought the food to her supposed new 'son'.

"Hehe, just a little home cooking with some Mama love~"

Yor pour the food onto the Misogi plate, and although the meal she was giving looks like something from a post-apocalyptic world filled with danger and toxicity, Misogi did not hesitate to take a bite of it and swallow the entire thing without any hesitation.

"D-Did you like it?~"

Yor looked at Kumagawa who had a hopeful expression, who only stared back at her with a simple smile on his face, which confused her and was about to ask him again, but then he just fell over without any prompt or warning, which startled her.

'「Not even my All Fiction can fix this…~」'

I somewhat want to make this clear, the main characters and point of this story is Kumagawa's interaction with the entire main cast of Spy X Family, so if something that doesn't involve them being together, or at the very least something that is important that can't be ignore, will be skip or ignored unfortunately, like personal episodes or side story that doesn't adds or include nothing about them.

(Though that doesn't mean I won't ignore any other characters, like Saki Sukinsaki or Frost or Yuri, BTW I'm stuck between Kumagawa joining Yor assassination missions, or keep with the theme of everyone having a secret, your thoughts?)

/Family Relationship Ideas\

Yuri: Has already earned Kumagawa full on respect, love and protection, since she's kind enough to want to adopt him and be his new mother, even if he shows off his 'Minus Side' to her.

(Plus she just a fun to be around with, both when she's trying to be a clueless normal person or be a badass assassin)

Anya: He likes her, because she understands the entire situation of the Assassin Yor and Spy Loid, to which he finds very funny and entertaining.

(Though unlike Anya, he purposely makes things harder for everyone)

Loid: Despite the endless amusement from him being a spy, Kumagawa dislikes the fact that his mother is being used in such a way, and if it weren't for the fact of liking both his mother and new lil sister, he would've killed him for such manipulation.

(Luckily Kumagawa is able to notice Loid's change of heart slowly, which spares him from his fate for now)
