Blake and Yang have completely moved away from each other, but not without a teasing look from Raider.
"Aw, but the both of you were so cute together. Don't worry, we'll get a lot more Bumbleby content in the show." Blake and Yang avoided each other's gaze, too embarrassed to look at one another.
"There's more?"
"You bet your damn butt there is! And you just watch how the two of them grow closer and closer, to the point where it's *Quacking* obvious they love each other."
At this point their faces were as red as tomatoes. "Why do you get so excited when it comes to them? What do you even see in her?"
Due to this being a deja vu line, Raider screamed in outburst. "A lot more than Blake will ever see in you!"
Many eyes widened in the room. Clearing her throat Raider intertwined her fingers and pressed as if she was trying to crack her knuckles. "Woops, ignore that, t-that wasn't anything important."
Any question that was thrown her way was immediately ignored. "Let's just move on to the episode."
Before anyone could get a word in, Raider grabbed the remote and played the episode.
*Volume Intro*
The episode begins with a soft melody, the room's window wide open and Weiss peacefully sleeping.
"Wow, a surprisingly peaceful domestic moment, when will it be ruined."
Weiss gives a stretch as she wakes up. Next to her, Ruby holds a whistle in hand, before loudly blowing it in her ear.
"There it is."
"Do you have any idea how much that hurts!?"
"I guess it wasn't the best way to get your attention, also considering you were awake."
"You think?"
"Good morning Team RWBY!"
"What in the world is wrong with you?" Yelling at the girl as she lays on the floor.
"Some people are wondering the same thing." Roman whispers into Neo's ear.
"Now that you're awake, we can officially begin our first order of business."
Weiss brushes off her shoulders as she finally gets up from the floor. "Excuse me?"
In hand, Yang is holding a miscellaneous of items from Weiss's dust pamphlet and to what looks like Pyrrha's shield? "Decorating!"
"Yeah! One of the funnest parts of getting something new."
"What?" Weiss shouts in disbelief. Blake holds up one of her suitcases, "We still have to unpack." The case opens by itself and all of its contents fall to the ground. "And clean."
Weiss gives the team an annoyed look, Ruby blowing her whistle in her ear again. This caused her to fall over from the sudden noise.
"Alright, Weiss, Blake, Yang, and their fearless leader Ruby have begun their first mission, Banzei!" Blake and Yang follow her, yelling the same thing.
The three of them stand in the same pose in front of the door.
The cleaning montage begins! Yang is setting up a poster on the wall, crossing her arms when it's to her liking. Weiss places an intricate painting, moving it until the sides are symmtrical with the other. Blake is next to a shelf where she is currently placing her books. Though once picking up a certain book, Ninjas of Love, she looked around nervously, making sure no one was watching, and set the book back down.
"Why so nervous Blake? What's in the book?" Ruby asked oh-so innocently. Blake refused to say anything and kept quiet. She could hear Raider laughing, and she asked why. "Oh, just the fact I know the literature you're into."
Blake blushed a bright red, silently hoping and waiting for a hole to swallow her whole, but knew it wouldn't come. "Blake, dear, what's so embarrassing in the books you read." She froze upon hearing her mother's voice. Raider simply laughed harder, "Good luck getting out of this one."
"Fine, I'll help." Blake sighed with relief before deeply regretting it when Raider clapped her hands and said book was in her hand. Upon seeing Blake's face Raider gave her a look. "I'm not that mean. But, I have a proposition for you Belladonna."
Having Blake's full attention signaled for her to continue. "How about I just show it to Yang, and once read, we won't speak of this and move on. How does that sound?"
Blake was weighing her options. On one hand, she could easily get past this embarrassing and awkward moment by showing Yang a simple and innocent point in the book.
"Nope, it has to be one of those moments." Blake frowned at the entity, "You didn't specify."
"Hmmmmm, got me there, but it has to get the genre across."
Blake was silent before reaching out her hand for the book. And it was then Yang voiced her thoughts. "This is concerning me a little, why am I the one being shown the book. And two, why is this becoming such a big deal?"
"Think of this as a trust exercise. Besides, you're Blake's partner."
"I don't believe that that means stuff like this is obligated."
Raider shrugged, makes for interesting and funny content. Raider tossed the book, to which was caught with ease from Blake, who sent her a small glare, but was just met with a smirk. Blake flipped through her book, looking for an acceptable page. She could feel the whole room staring down at her, but she did her best to ignore them. Her ears twitched at the sound of slurping. She brought her head up to see Raider with a cup. "Don't mind me, just drinking the tea."
Turning back to her book, she found the page she was looking for and presented it to the blonde.
Yang didn't respond and tried to show as little reaction as possible, not wanting to alert the others and embarrass Blake more than she already was. "I-I didn't r-realize you were into that s-s-stuff Blake."
Right as she finished Blake stole the book back and averted eye contact with Yang. Sure she had to read a bit of that, but why does it feel so much more embarrassing than if I showed it to my other friends.
Raider took the book back and made it disappear. Mostly likely in the spot where it could be found in their normal universe.
"A deal is a deal. Let's get back to the show, shall we?"
Everyone wanted to know what was in the book, but Raider shot them down immediately.
Ruby is seen cutting the curtains in front of the window.
"We know you can decorate your own room, but that deosn't mean you need to destroy it in the process." Came the voice of a very stern Glynda.
Having a close up view of the poster Yang set up and to the curtain being repaired.
"I bet Weiss was the one who had to fix that."
"I did, and it was quite difficult, considering a certain someone severed it clean."
The camera changed to show Weiss's painting, finally stopping to show the whole team observing the room. Needless to say, it looked like a wreck with the beds stacked on top of each other.
"How do you manage to get your beds like that if you were putting up posters and a small bookshelf?" Emerald said. She wasn't expecting an answer, and didn't get one but a lot of people were wondering the same thing.
This isn't going to work." Weiss being the first to speak up about the condition the room was in. "It is a bit cramped."
"Ya think?"
"Maybe we should ditch some of our stuff."
"Or we could ditch the beds,"
"Then where on Remnant would you sleep?"
"And replace them with bunk beds!"
"That doesn't sound like a good idea."
"How would you even get that to work in the first place?"
"That sounds incredibly dangerous," comes the voice of reason. Though it was ignored with Yang looking on the more positive and reckless side. "And super awesome!"
"It does seem efficient."
"Blake is supposed to be one of the main voices of reason, though she thinks the idea was a good one."
"Hey! What about me and Yang!"
"Yang trashed a whole club and you're the one who came up with the idea in the first place."
"You guys aren't going to let that go are you?"
Raider gave the woman a deadpan expression, "You basically single handedly trashed an entire club. No, the adults in this room will not let that go."
The blonde sighed, "Yeah, I get it, dad and Glynda gave me an earful during intermission." Yang could feel the stare from said woman and man.
"Well we should put it to a vote," Weiss continues, trying to avoid the inevitable. "I think we just did."
Blake gives a thumbs up, on board with the idea, Yang feeling the same way. But, Weiss pouts, still apprehensive.
The four head to their bed and the sound of construction working is heard. Once done, they rush back to the front of the room to check their work. "Objective complete," where the pile of beds used to be, in their place was a bed being held up from a bed sheet and rope, while the other was held up by a stack of books.
"How those beds aren't toppling immediately is beyond me."
"I have two questions. What are the pieces of rope tied to on the ceiling and how strong are the books Blake has?"
"Those are two good questions that I don't have the answer to. Maybe Blake just has a lot of hard backs. Another thing, how many books did you even bring? Because judging by the width of the books, none of them belong to Yang and Ruby."
"Hey!" The sisters shout in unison.
"And Weiss probably has her own section of books. There's enough of them to make the shelf full and give the bed enough leverage to be on the same height as Ruby's."
"I just really like to read, is that such a problem?"
"Nope, just wondering."
Yang's bed gives a sparkle. "Alright, our second order of business isssss! Classes." She finished dejectedly, a schedule flopping into her lap.
"Everyone with school, unless you're a weird minority who likes school." Just kidding, you can like whatever you wish.
"Now, we have a few classes together. At 9:00 we got a-" Ruby was ultimately cut off by Weiss. "What!? Did you say 9:00 o-clock? It's 8:55 you dunce!"
Weiss quickly runs out of the classroom, her teams and team JNPR popping their neads out of their doorways. "Uh, t-t-to class!" Ruby yells, running after her partner, Yang and Blake close behind.
"Class?" Jaune asks, confused watching them. The four of them fall on top of each other in the corridor. "We're going to be late!" Jaune hurriedly gets up and rushes after his friends.
"I would just like to point out, well this will be pointed out a lot, I love the way everyone runs. The animation was a little on the low side back then, making the way they run so hilarious. I love it!"
Glynda and Ozpin watch as the 8 students try and make it on time to class. Ozpin sipped from his mug and Glynda checked her watch.
"Monsters, demons, prowlers of the night. Yes, the grimm have many names, but I mereily refer to them as prey. Haha!" Laughing at his own joke, but the audience gives him crickets. "Uhhh, and you shall too upon graduating from this prestigious academy. Now, as I was saying, Vale, as well as the other three kingdoms, are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world. Our planet is absolutely teeming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces, and that's where we come in; Huntsman, Huntresses." He clicks his tongue, causing Yang to look uncomfortable.
"I honestly don't want to ask about that. It looked like it was sending the wrong kind of signals."
"It really shouldn't be sending any kind of signals in the first place, it's a classroom."
"Individuals who have sworn to protect thoses who can not protect themselves. From what you ask? Why, the very world!" The room was silent once more, but a random student had the courage to agree with him, causing the whole classroom to stare at him as he sat back down. "That is what you're training to become, but first, a story."
"The guy is seriously one of those stereotypical teachers."
"It makes for a good way to kill time though. You could be doing a lot more stuff when he drones on."
"A tale of a young handsome man, me."
He went on through his story carelessly, and during that Ruby scribbles on a piece of paper, catching Weiss's attention from the loud noise. "Despite smelling of cabbages"
"What?"
"We never understand his stories, or we just don't listen to them."
"It's more of the latter really."
"I can see why."
"Granted, though he does drone on, he really is an excellent teacher."
"Are you saying this because he gave credit to the huntresses?" Raider gave Weiss a smirk and a side eye. "Ew?!" The reaction made Raider burst out laughing.
"My grandfather was a wise man, 'Peter' he told me."
Ruby finished her scribbling and showed it to her friends. It was a picture of Professor Port smelling on the page she was supposed to be taking notes with. She makes a fart sound, and the chain reaction causes her and Yang to laugh.
"Real mature Ruby."
"I thought it was hilarious."
"You y'know, you could have drawn Port as a cabbage. It would have stayed on track with what he was going on about."
"Why are you encouraging her?"
"Hey, I'm young too, I know how the child's mind works."
The audience stared at the girl. "How old are you again?"
"Such a rude question. But, this version of me is very different from my original form."
"You have other forms?"
"Well, yeah, to accommodate with each universe I travel to. Mostly so I blend in really."
Some were confused while others held expressions of amazement, Ruby and Jaune.
"You see, my hair, eye color and skin will stay the same, that being blonde, a green hazel and peach skin. But, my attributes will vary. I'm a dragon faunus here, but in another universe I could be something completely different. To give a comparison, I would be a chameleon with universes."
"That is amazing!"
"I will save this in my database for later."
People looked at Penny weirdly, but Raider at them to get their attention back. "Enough of that, let's keep watching."
"In the end, the beowulf was no match for my sheer tenacity, na di return to my village with the beast in captivity and my head held high, celebrated as a hero." He gave a bow before continuing, "Moral of the story, a true huntsman must be honorable," Ruby is seen balancing a book and an apple on a pencil with a silly look on her face. "A true huntsman must be dependable," Weiss's irritation for the girl grows as Ruby continues to disappoint those attributes. "A true huntsman must be strategic, well educated and wise."
"Daw Ruby!" Her sister exclaims. The people around her slowly move farther and farther away from the girl. Tai and Summer shake their heads, Ruby…
"Yes, it is gross to do it in public, but answer me this, what child hasn't picked their nose at some point?"
A lot of people in the room raised their hands. "Man, wish I had Robyn right now to help me with this, cause I know dang well we got a bunch of liars in here."
Weiss is shaking with anger at this point. "So, who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?" Weiss quickly raises her hand with a frown held upon her face. "I do sir!"
"Well then, let's find out." The man turns to a large crate, inside showing deep dark red eyes. "Step forward, and face your opponent."
"How the hell did he get that inside the classroom, let alone a large grimm in a cage?"
"We wonder the same things but we don't ask the questions."
The screen goes black, later changing to the end credits, signaling that the episode is over.
"If I were to be honest, this and the next episode are kinda bland to me, but when it gets to the Jaundice episodes, that's when it becomes more interesting."
"What's in the Jaundice episodes?"
Raider turns to Jaune and gives him a look, "Sorry bud." He looked confused before his eyes widened in horror.
A/N: Hello everyone! Guess what? Got a week off from school! This means that there might be more chapters coming out this coming week! I got that going, and another thing is that this whole story is sreriosuly just for fun. I did it because of fun it would be and to give the audience what they want, a RWBY react fanfiction where they actually make it to the end of the show.
Got a recent comment, stating I was forcing the characters, I just want to get this across. And really, all encounters, I wasn't forcing the characters, it was all pretty slow paced and nothing major happened. The book thing that happened in this chapter was just to give the story a little drama and spice, also because I thought it would be funny.
I'm aware it might seem a bit immature to write this just over a single comment, I get that, but it would have bugged me if I didn't clear this out.
Anyways, enough about that, I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I hope you look forward to more in the future. Bye and I hope you all have an excellent day!
