Back on Wakanda
T'challa returned to his throne-room accompanied with the five newcomers.
"I'd like to introduce you to the remaining Avengers. Wanda Aka Scarlet Witch, Bucky Barnes also known as the White Wolf, and Vision. The young lady is my sister Shuri and last but certainly not least, the leader of my personal guard Okoye. Shuri designed and developed most of the technology that you see here in Wakanda. Including the very room you are standing in."
Everyone in the room stood in awe.
"Impressive i should say, my earth doesn't have technology quite like this yet." the adult and male Tommy, hence-fourth referred to as Dr. Oliver said. "Well since we're doing introductions i think i should introduce the team of rangers that stand before you.
"I am Koda" the man in the jean jacket spoke up. "I am the Blue ranger from Dino-Charge. In my time, dinosaur and human live as one."
"I have to ask Koda, whats glowing in your pocket?" Steve asked.
"Oh this is my Ener-gem." Koda explained, removing said glowing object. "The source of my teams power: I got this when I was trying to save my friend but I was stuck in a frozen state in some ice for 25 million years"
Everyone but Dr. Oliver and his team gasped.
"So you're a caveman?" Zack asked.
"Yes but ever since I got thawed out I have become accustomed to modern age...although I'm still getting grasp on modern human English."
Bucky and Sam look at each other speechless without words
"And I thought Steve and I were fish out of temporal water..." The former Winter solider mused.
"Oh and due to my Ener-gem I cant age and I can do this" Koda picked up the nearest computer, which was as as tall as the roof.
"PLEASE! FOR BAST'S AND MY SANITY'S SAKE, PUT THAT DOWN!" Shuri stood up with fear
Koda did as he was told.
"Thank you." Shuri then sits down with a sigh of relief
"Well that's kinda impressive Koda" Bruce mused. "That kinda strength if applied properly can rival the other guy."
"Dare I ask who this...'other guy' is?"The woman in yellow asked.
"Well the other guy is..." Bruce started, only to fumble. "Kinda easy to explain and hard to explain at the same time...I would show you but he's having hard time wanting to come out right now."
Jason, Kimberly, Billy and Zack nod in understanding with the other rangers confused.
"Well since I spoke up I might as well make my introduction." The girl mused. "I'm Zoe, the Yellow Ranger of the beast morphers team"
"Yeah we kinda figured that one out with the yellow jacket and all" Sam said with a chuckle
"Anyway I may not have super strength like Koda here, but I do have this!" Zoe then jumped to a high altitude and the onto the ceiling, where she smirked down on the others.
"This is the result of having your DNA mixed with a chemical compound made with the morphing grid." She beamed.
"Morphing Grid?" Steve and Nat ask in confusion.
"Yeah, you guys keep saying that..." Bruce brought up.
"It's the source of all rangers power. But it's also a power that comes from within...It's kinda like that one movie with the force, if that helps?" Zoe explained with Tommy and Sam Nodding
"Who wants to go next?" Zoe asked
"I guess I will if that's OK." The brightest member of Dr. Oliver's team beamed. "Hola amigos! I am Antonio i am the Gold ranger of my team. I'm kinda the tech wiz along with Zoe here, I made my own weapons and morpher."
Antonio noticed the fruit bowl in the middle of the room.
"May i your majesty?" He asked.
"By all means" T'challa said while Antonio took an apple and drew a blade of sorts before tossing the fruit into the air.
"Barracuda Bite!" Antonio then proceeded to slice the apple at a lightning fast rate...or it should've been; it landed back on the table.
"...OK the apples still there?" Sam said.
"Wait for it" Antonio says with anticipation.
The apple split in multiple pieces while Steve and T'Challa's eyes widen.
"Impressive...And whats with the wagon if i may ask" T'challa asked, spying the aforementioned wagon Antonio had brought with him.
"Well i can explain that with a simple thing" Antonio beamed as he pulled out a phone-like device. "Octo Zord Awaken!"
A kanji appeared on his phone and launched itself inside the wagon as a Robot octopus started floating in the air.
"What is it?" Steve asked, reaching for his shield.
"That's my good buddy Octo Zord, one of my great companions, never leave home without him, don't i bud?"
The Zord then made some noises
"It...understands you? That's...kinda cute" Wanda said with a smile
"Pardon the interruption but, I must ask...What exactly is a Zord?" Vision inquired.
"A Zord is a robot that all rangers have, its kinda like a ship and if all the rangers combine their Zords, it combines into a larger robot known as a Megazord." Tommy explained.
"And I'm assuming that's the "ship" you kids were referring to?" Steve asked
The rangers nodded.
"Yep and now I'm volunteer Xander to go next" Antonio teased
"Alright im cool with that. Greetings mate I am Xander, Green Mystic force ranger. I'm a sorcerer, I can cast spells and enchantments for pretty much anything and i have a special element I'm connected to. In my case, the element of earth allows me to manipulate plants and rocks and that kinda stuff"
Xander flipped his morpher into it's wand mode, aiming for a dying plant at the window. Within moments, the plant seemingly perked up.
"Viola! Like that"
"OK i can see how that can be useful, can you make enchanted shields?" T'challa asked
"Of course." Xander answered
"Then we're gonna need it" Steve interjected
"That just leaves the one in grey right there" Nat said
"Yeah that would be me." The one in grey said. "My name is Andros. I'm the leader of this group and of the space rangers."
"So that means you like fight evil in space?" Sam asked
"Yeah, but we also used to fight evil on earth" Andros continued.
"Used to?" Steve wondered
"Yeah...You see, what happens when the big boss of the monsters we fight is gone, rangers either retire and return to a normal life until needed again, continue to fight as rangers or disappear until they want to be found." Dr. Oliver explained.
"We were the ones that answered Tommy's call when a lot of rangers present and former understandably couldn't." Andros said, a small amount of sadness and shame clear in his tone.
"Well, we're glad you're here, so this is the situation, Wanda and Vision were attacked by a couple of extra terrestrials as well until me, Sam and Nat intervened with some help. I'm assuming the ones who attacked New York are connected to that." Steve explained. "What we know is that the stone on Vision's forehead is an infinity stone; namely the mind stone. We've gotta get that stone out without harming Vision and destroy it."
"So here the plan, I want the most powerful to come with us on the front line battle should it come to that. The rest of you stay here with Wanda, Shuri and two of the Dora Milaje while they tend to Vision, whoever stays is up to you. And most importantly we need to make sure Thanos doesn't get that stone" Steve explained
"Xander will cast the shield spell around this area so that way we can provide some protection for everyone, then Wanda, Zoe, Billy, Kim and Andros will stay here and keep guard just in case. Me, Koda, Jason, Zack will help everyone else fight off whatever Thanos has coming. Half the multiverse is at stake, Rangers, Avengers...suit up" Dr. Oliver exclaimed.
"Yeah, beat Thanos and stop him from killing half of life in the multiverse, no pressure" Zack said. When he got disapproving looks, all he said was: "What? Only Peter can make jokes?"
"ITS MORPHING TIME!" Oliver, Koda, Zoe, Antonio, Xander and Andros suddenly shoyted before morphing into their ranger attire.
"Wow, you guys look...great!" Zack admitted, "although... you look like you're from some kids show from the 90s"
"Don't mind him." Kimberly explained while knocking him in the head. She, Jason, Zack and Billy followed in suit.
"Move out." Jason said, only to feel a hand on his shoulder.
"Son, can i offer you some advice, leader to leader?" Steve asked
"Sure, anything" Jason answered
"Make sure you're looking after your teammates, those kids are gonna be with you til the end of the line and I don't think you wanna see em hurt or worse. If worse comes to worse don't let their sacrifice be in vain."
"I know, they're good people. I hope the rest of them are alright" Jason sighed. He had been planning on this and while Steve's advice put more pressure on him, he understood and appreciated it nonetheless.
"They will be. They're with Tony." Steve assured him before adopting a smirk. "As for us, we're gonna kick some serious a-"
"Steve language" Nat teased as everyone saw Bruce getting in a suit of armour
"Dr Banner why do you need a suit? Doesn't the other guy show up in these situations?" Billy asked
"Well...He dones't wanna come out Thanos beat him" Bruce explained
The room went silent. For a full two minutes not a word was said.
"Wait, when did you fight Thanos?" Kim asked
"Long story short, the other guy was in space for a spell with Thor" Bruce continued
"Okay seriously, who is the other guy?" Zoe asked, slightly annoyed.
"The Hulk. Big green guy, shows up when Dr Banner gets angry" Billy explained before realizing what had happened."...Oh dear god. If he got beat by this Thanos guy, I'm kinda scared whats gonna happen to us."
"The way these guys talk about him, he seems legit tougher than Rita" Kim said, her eyes suddenly widening. "...Oh crap. Was...was HE the Mad Titan she mentioned?"
Her teammates recalled Rita's words and begun to shake. They barely beat Rita with Peter's help, how...?
Wanda walked in and spoke
"Its OK to be scared." She assured them. "Without fear, there wouldn't be bravery, its part and partial to the superhero gig. "
"Alright everyone step back, teenage scientist coming through!" Shuri shouted as she began working on vision
Meanwhile near the gate north of Wakanda
Noises were heard as ships started landing on the ground as Steve, Nat, T'challa and Tommy walked toward the invaders.
"You are stalling the inevitable, Thanos will have that stone." the female alien said
"That's. not gonna happen." Steve said
"You're in Wakanda now, Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood" T'challa spoke
"And we'd rather die then give it to you" Tommy spoke
"We have blood to spare" the female alien decides to release the alien dog like creatures as they try to get through the gate
"They're killing themselves" Okoye watched in horror as the creatures began to plow through.
"EVERYONE!" T'Challa shouted, getting the assembled army's attention. "Today we fight not just for Wakanda; not for ideals, not even for our selves! Today, we fight for the world! The greatest threat to our home planet is seeking to destroy all that only we hold dear, but what half of all the worlds upon worlds hold dear! We are the last line of defense against this threat! I will not lie; this is a battle we no doubt suffer heavy losses from. And none of us have faced a threat of this magnitude before."
The rangers and Avengers nodded.
"We are scared. We are right to be. But..are you willing to let them harm what you love?"
Everyone's fear vanished for a second.
"If we fail; those who look up to, depend on and believe in us will suffer. All of our work and sacrifices will be for nothing." Steve added. "This is a war unlike any other. Many of you are not soldiers, I realize that. We're not asking for soldiers. We are asking...for a chance. As the prince said and you know, today we will suffer losses. But, tell yourself this; are you going to run and let these invaders hurt your friends and family...or are you going to stand and take a few with you?"
The Wakandans all roared and the Rangers, in spite of it all, found themselves cheering as well...just as the creatures managed to damage the shields enough to enter.
Then Jason and Zack find something glowing in their hands
"Rangers, Alpha has made new weapons for you to aid in the coming battle" Zordon spoke in their head.
"Sweet!" Zack said as he got am axe that converted into a blaster and Jason got a sword.
"CHARGE!" Steve and T'Challa roared, running towards the horde of enemies. All behind them were quick to follow.
Zack blasted a few of the creatures while Koda blasts through a line of them
"Dino Morpher...Blast!"
"Alright uglies, lets see how you handle some earth power!" Xander used his wand to convert to its axe mode and opens a crater for creatures to fall in
"Alright time to switch it up, Dino thunder power up!" The coin in Dr. Oliver's morpher changed its symbol and morphs into a completely different ranger. "Brachio staff!"
A grand battle took place, with shield, claws and blades knocking down many of the foes, but soon, the heroes were overwhelmed...
Suddenly, a rainbow beam flashed down around everyone then a flying axe-hammer fly through the creatures.
The beam dispersed revealing a blonde man with a cape, a raccoon with a gun and a humanoid tree
"OH HO HO HO! YOU GUYS ARE SO SCREWED NOW!" Bruce shouts with glee
"Is that...Who I think it is?" Zack asked.
"You're eyes aren't deceiving you, That's. Thor!" Jason shouted.
"BRING ME THANOS!" Thor shouted as he, the tree and the raccoon roared, renewing the will to fight in the other heroes.
"Pete is going to be so jealous!" Zack beamed as he cut down another foe.
"Tommy and Trini too!"
Meanwhile back at the lab
"So how much longer?" Billy asked
"Shouldn't be too much longer" Shuri said before one of the aliens burst into the room.
"Uh oh" Kim said
"Oh crud" Billy says
Billy and Kimberly's hands glow as new weapons materialized in their hands. Namely a bow and lance
"Sweet, but i don't know how to use a bow" Kim said
"Just do it like that one Disney princess did" Billy said, pushing the creature back before being tossed aside.
"Right" Kim said shooting arrows at the alien as Zoe and Wanda are fought together. The alien throws everyone out the window as the alien flies off with Vision. "NO!"
"No worries" Andros said "Tommy! The invader got away with vision; I have no idea where hes going"
"Someone go after Vision!" Steve shouted
The alien landed in a secluded part of the forest.
"You're a formidable machine, now you'll die just like any man."
Before he could act on that threat, Cap stabbed him with his own glaive.
Bucky, Rocket and Koda stood side by side shooting the creatures like it was target practice. After they were done rocket stared at Bucky arm "how much for the gun?" Rocket asked "its not for sale" Bucky said
"How much for the arm?" Rocket continued to ask before Bucky starts walking away "Oh, I'll get that arm..."
"Oi, little tree!"
Groot looked over to Xander.
"I am Groot."
"Sorry...Groot." Xander smiled. "I'm giving ya boost."
Instantly, Groot felt much stronger.
At the same time that's happening the female alien engaged with Okoye and Natasha with Zoe stepping in.
"Morph X blaster! Hiya!"
The female alien was struck down only for Wanda to send her flying into a a tree, blood splashing everywhere.
"That was...gross" Natasha said
"OK Cap we're were here" Bruce said over the intercom
"Alright, lets get him out of here" Steve commanded
Everyone gathered as a strange sound was coming the other way,
"What the...?" Natasha said
Bruce then turned around to see a portal opening up. A tall, male humanoid with purple skin walked through it
"Cap... that's him" Bruce said
"THAT'S Thanos?" Kimberly asks with slight fear in her voice.
"I guess so" Jason says "eyes up stay sharp" both Jason and Steve said at the same time
Bruce lunged at Thanos only for Thanos to stick Bruce in a wall of stone for a moment.
War machine and Andros unleashed their entire reserve of fire power...sadly it didn't even touch the Mad Titan, who used the space stone to destroy theie weapons.
Bucky, Okoye and Kim were next shooting everything from arrows, bullets and a spear at him but to no avail.
Falcon had his wings singed by thanos and fell to the ground.
Groot grew vines as big as himself but thanos broke away instantly.
"Wanda its up to you, we're running out of time!" Vision spoke desperatly. "End it before he does!"
His love faltered and shook her head. She knew he was right. She knew it had to be done. But...she couldn't!
Losing her parents was one thing. Losing Pietro was another. But Vison? No. Not acceptable!
But she knew he was right.
For the sake of the world...
Why couldn't she ever have one good person in her life?!
"Its okay." He cooed, gently holding her hand, a smile on his face. "It's okay. It's you. You could never hurt me."
Wanda, tears in her eyes, closed them and readied herself.
"I love you." They said together as the Scarlet Witch sent a beam of energy through Vision's head.
The remaining rangers, T'challa and Steve desperately tried to hold off Thanos with some head and mid section strikes with Koda. Jason and Steve kept his palms open. For a second, it looked like they would succeed.
Thanos suddenly smirked and kicked Koda away, distracting Jason long enough for him to be tossed into Kimberly and Billy. This in term allowed him to toss away Steve.
But he was too late: The stone was gone. Vision was no more. And Wanda wept.
A small, gentle frown crossed the Titan's face and he gently patted Wanda's head.
"It's alright young-ling." He cooed. "I lost someone I loved to"
Wanda, tears staining her cheeks and venom in her voice, then hissed:
"You don't know loss."
A still gentle Thanos simply said:
\ "I lost more than you know. however little one, now's not the time to mourn now...there's no time at all,"
He activated the Time stone thus restoring vision...only to rip out the soul stone and kill him again.
"No!" Wanda screamed as she was thrown across the way.
The infintu Gauntelt was now compelete...Thanos smiled as his plan FINALLY came to fruition... only for Thor to surprise him with an axe throw to the chest.
"I told you, you would die for that!" Thor reminded him
Thanos mumbles something under his breath
"Yo...you sh...shh...should've gone for the head!" Thanos smirked, rising his gloved hand, now with all six stone and then...he snapped his fingers.
"NO!"
A bright light engulfed the universe, accompained by a deafening bang.
"What did you do? What you do?" Thor asked desperately.
Thanos disappeared into a space portal
"Thor? Did you get him?" Steve asked. Thor just stood there motionless."Where did he go?"
"Uh...Steve?" Bucky asked as he turned to dust while everyone looks in shock.
"General up!, this is no place to die" T'Challa assured Okoye as reached out his hand, onl to follow in Bucky's fate.
"Sam! Sam!" Rhodey shouted only for Sam to turn to dust
"Guys?" Billy said. "I..I feel..fun."
That was all he said before he turned into Dust and was blown away. Before Jason and Kimberly could react, they saw the same happening to Zack
"Wait, no!" Zack begged, realizing what was happening. "Mom?! Mom...! I don't want...! Guys, look after her and Ali...!"
He was gone as well. All that remained of the Black and Blue Rangers was their Power Coin.
Others followed in suit: Wanda, Vision, Groot, T'challa, Shuri
Everyone looks around to find dust all around
"What the heck is this?" Rhodey asked
"Oh my god..."Kim said
"We...we lost" Jason said as he shook his head, not wanting to accept this. Kim said as tears flooded her eyes
"It's not your fault kids, you did the best you could. Right now we need to regroup whoever is left at the compound." Steve said as he helped Nat up.
"Agreed, Captain, I'll get my guys back to my earth and do the same." Oliver said as Steve nodded
Before anyone left the area a ship then landed suddenly, and two familiar faces stepped out.
"TRIN! TOMMY!" Jason and Kimberly rushed and hugged them.
"JASON! KIMMY!" The two desperately replied.
"...W-where's Peter?" Kim asked.
Trini, who had been holding it in, burst into tears fell to her feet.
"...No..." Jason realized, looking up to Alita. "Alita. Where is he?"
"...Gone." Alita answered, looking down at her feet.
"...Tell us what happened." Jason ordered. "All of it."
"Whats to tell? We got our butts kicked by the California Raisin on steroids!" Sonic said
"What the hell are you?" Rhodey asked
"Not important" Sonic said as rocket
Rocket, Nebula and Tony stepped out of the ship as he got a good look at everyone.
"Tony..." Steve said as Tony shed a couple of tears and hugged Rhodey
"Easy now big guy what happened?"
"We got our asses kicked big time." Tony said
"Well...what matters is now we need to figure out what our next move is" Tommy said
"...Let's go to the compound." Nat said.
Trini's tears had ended bt she looked down at her feet and followed the others.
"Is she gonna be OK?" Sonic asked as he pointed to Trini
"I don't know Hedgehog, i don't know" Alita said
"My King is gone...and so is the princess, Half my country... i failed as a Dora milaje" Okoye said as
Jason looked at her.
"Listen...Okoye right? You aren't a failure. You just got overpowered. I'm sure King T'challa and your kingdom would be proud of your attempt to protect your kingdom and the world" Jason said
"Thank you young man, but this isn't gonna help the queen mother as she will be saddened by this loss" Okoye said
"I understand" Jason said
"Oliver, is your squad OK?" Steve asked
"I just got into contact with them out of all of them only three made it!" Oliver said. "And...I can;t get in contact with my nephews..."
"And wheres Thor?" Jason asked
"Thor was here?" Tommy and Sonic asked in unison
"He was...then he flew off shortly after thanos snapped his fingers." Steve said
"He said he went to the compound, he'll be waiting for us" Nat said as everyone headed into the Wakanda city and got on either a quin-jet or the benatar (that's the confirmed name of the guardians second ship in infinity war)As everyone headed into the compound, the rangers stopped as their mentor projected his message into their heads.
"Rangers? I am sending you this message in hopes you can hear it" Zordon said through their heads
"Yes Zordon, we can hear you" Jason said as Steve and Nat turned to them
"Rangers, i am relieved that you that remain are OK. I have sensed that Thanos has achieved his goal and took Billy, Zack and half of the multiverse's lives to do it. I will not require you to return to the command centre at this moment as i want you all to gather your thoughts and rest up as you have survived a very traumatizing battle. I am very proud of all of you as this is what you were trained for. Please stay safe rangers." Zordon said
"Thanks Zordon" Tommy said as Steve and Nat turned to each other in confusion
"What...was that?" Nat asked
"Oh...our mentor just spoke to us" Jason said
"Telepathically im assuming?" Steve asked
"Alright, can't be the weirdest thing I've heard, the same can't be said for the raccoon and hedgehog however." Nat said
"I ain't a raccoon! And I don't know what a hedgehog is!" Rocket said
"I...am not going to comment" Sonic said
"Well i know one thing." Trini said, ending her silence. "Pnce we find him. I'll make him pay myself" Trini said.
"OK Trini, I know you're upset but we have rules, three specific rules, we practically already broke one of them. Remember we don't escalate fights unle-" Tommy said as Trini cuts her off
"DON'T QUOTE THE RULE-BOOK TO ME RIGHT NOW TOMMY! He escalated it when he almost killed us!" Trini said with tears in her eyes
"Trini, i understand your pain, but vengeance is not the answer. As a ranger you are bound to a set of principles set in stone by those who came before us. I mean think about it! What would Zordon think and most importantly what would Peter think if he heard what you just said?" Dr. Oliver said, then looking at the remaing Avengers.
"Well said Oliver, i agree strongly" Steve said.
"...I have to go." Dr. Oliver said. "My nephews..."
"Go." Okoye said.
"All of us need to get some sleep, Rangers, please make yourselves at home" Steve said
Unknown location
Thanos laid in a river only to stand up to find the gauntlet gone and a young Gamora.
"...Daughter?" He asked, desperatly hoping aganist all she had been brought back as a reward for all he did.
"So did you do it?" The young Gamora asked
"Yes" thanos said
"What did it cost?" She asked
"Everything" thanos said.
Dragon Drive Universe
Randy Oliver raced through town, calling out for anyone he knew...only to find it practically empty.
A portal opened, and in strode his uncle, Dr. Oliver.
"Oh thak god!" The legendary ranger sighed before realizing. "Wait...F-Flokki, is he?"
"..." Randy didn't say a word, but burst into tears when his uncle hugged him.
"You did all you could. It'll be okay." Dr. Oliver promised, fighting back his own tears.
"...It should've been me." Randy sighed. "HE was married and has Rayne! Me? I'm a punk! A dime a dozen! Nobody would've missed..!"
Dr. Oliver then SLAPPED his nephew, his tears finally breaking.
"Its not fair. I know. But don't EVER. Say that. Again." He ordered.
Randy broke the embrace and continued to shout for those he knew.
No response.
