The story of a princess who wants to be queen, a prince who is destined to be king, and a young man who might be a hero. This story seeks to tie together elements from numerous Legend of Zelda games in order to create a cohesive world in the style of epic fantasy novels.

What drives one to become a demon? Is it the same power that drove some to be saints? Or is it the ambition to change? This is the story of how it all came to be.

The disaster of the Calamity has been averted but Second Princess Zelda and her twin sister, Crown Princess Hilda, have a complicated relationship as a result. To make matters worse, King Rhoam decides someone must marry Link to protect Hyrule's future. Link rescues a boy from the Yiga Clan in the Depths and adopts him as his squire. Under the protection of the hero, Rat believes he's won his freedom. But a cunning leader is rising in the Clan who sees an opportunity in Rat's new loyalties. When their trap closes around Link, Rat will have to face the dark and return to the Depths, and become his own kind of hero. (TotK)

The Hero of Time, Link, is blessed by the Golden Goddesses with a normal existence, free for himself to rule over. He must learn the true meaning of life as he attempts to join Hylian society. Along the way, he finds a family to call his own. Protecting and loving them, as a new threat emerges, he grows to understand how he must still endure the challenges of fate.

Link knows he will eventually have to face Demise's Curse, and has been training obsessively for 11 years in preparation. But when the Master Sword is cursed so badly it can't even be put to rest, and monsters are attacking, and the enemy is still nowhere to be found, the Hero and the Princess are left with nothing but unsolvable problems.
