Chapter 1
Brooke Davis stared at her ring finger. Her engagement ring.
The memory of Julian slipping this ring on her finger still fresh in her memory. Even though it was months ago.
The wedding planning process brought them closer together.
She had envisioned their life together so clearly. She was supposed to be on her honeymoon but instead she was hiding away in her house and avoiding tv and the internet.
He left her days before the wedding. No outright reason. No closure.
He just vanished and she didn't know what to make of it. Of what this meant for her. She had spent days making phone calls. Cancelling what they had planned.
It was all so humiliating and confusing. She simply felt numb.

"Daddy why isn't aunt Brooke getting married anymore.?" Sawyer Scott asked.
Watching as his father. Put away the big boy suit he was supposed to wear that day.
"Because there isn't going to be a wedding son. And i'm sure you're aunt Brooke is going through alot of thoughts and feelings."
"That happens when you're heart get's broken." Lucas explained.
"Can we go see her.?" Sawyer asked.
"I'll reach out to her and let you know if she's up for a visit." Lucas replied.
"Have you heard from momma.?" Sawyer asked.
"Not yet but i'm sure i will." Lucas replied.
With a kiss on the top of the head and an I love you. Lucas then left Sawyer's bedroom.
