Days Later
"I'm sorry you're sad aunt Brooke." Sawyer said.
When Brooke opened her front door to find Sawyer and Lucas. Brooke leaned down to hug him.
"I drew you a picture. Daddy and I came by to keep you company." Sawyer announced.
Brooke smiled up at him. "I couldn't imagine a better way to start the day. Come in." She replied.
"Why don't you go pick out something to eat. I have cinnamon buns on the table." Brooke said.
"Are you sure we aren't bothering you.?" Lucas asked.
"No not at all. I've been keeping to myself for days now."
"I thought i would be married but i'm not dwelling in that won't change anything." Brooke replied.
"I'm glad we can be here to support you and hopefully uplift you're mood." Lucas said.
"You're welcomed company and Sawyer is a mini Lucas."
"I've missed having you in town." Brooke said.
"I missed being here too. I'm going to head over to the cafe."
"The two of you eat. I'll get us something hot to drink." Lucas announced.
"Hot cider or hot chocolate." Brooke replied.

After a short drive. Lucas had made it to Karen's. As expected it was busy. Full of customers and bursting with conversation and life.
As Lucas got in line and made his way towards the register.
He scanned the drink menu. Then looked to the dessert menu.
It was then did he see the blond hair. Long legs and face he knew better then anyone else's.
"Peyton!" "Peyton!" He called out as he quickly left the cafe.
He knew it was her. He saw her re entering her car The Comet. As she soon drove away.
