With that done, let's get started on Arc 4!
Chapter 21:
About eight months have passed since the death of Goku Jr. Letuce, Oritsu, and Vejin would wander the streets of West City. The trio had to continuously cut through the massive crowds of people to get back to Capsule Corp. Oritsu accidentally bumps into a man in a dark long sleeved coat. Oritsu looks up to the man: "Oh, sorry!" He apologizes to the man and follows behind Letuce and Vejin. The man was on the older side with his hairs becoming gray, but still had his spiky hair. The man's coat was black and had a white outline on the inside of it. His pants were white and his shoes were also black. He looked as to be on a business run, but little did Oritsu know. This man was actually an assassin for hire. In fact, the man looked back to see Oritsu catching up to his friends. He recognized that Oritsu looked rather familiar to him. Reminding the man of his past. The man turns around and discreetly follows Oritsu and the others.
This man is Chaka. A well known assassin for hire in the underground business.
However, Chaka's story actually begins prior to the events of today. Chaka was born with the name, Feng-Wei, but opted to be called Chaka in his adult life, as he thought it was a much better name than Feng-Wei. Although he was a part of the Wei family, he wished to be called Chaka. We cut to 24 years prior to today, where we see a young Chaka in his early twenties enlisted into a martial arts school. Chaka had enlisted into the Iron Snake Assassin Clan, a martial arts school that focuses on the art to end peoples lives. This school had its code of honor and did not simply kill for the sake of satisfaction, but rather as a way to show the honors of battle and ending with the defeat of an honorable opponent. He was mentored by the legendary martial artist, Hagana Yutotsu. Chaka within the fighting school, had a friend and rival named Turkani Kitsueko. Turkani, also known as Turk, was none other than Oritsu and Kiki's father. The two have been equally matched in skill, but had different personalities outside of training.
Despite their differences, they had a strong brotherly bond with one another. However, one year later, their master, Hagana Yutotsu had grown deathly ill and had passed his role as master down to Chaka. He had given Chaka the title of master as he noted that he was a prodigy in martial arts and grew faster than anyone in the clan. Turk had grown jealous of Chaka and thought the idea was ridiculous. However, Hagana thought otherwise and viewed Chaka as a son. The same would be said to Turk, but Turk didn't accept this. Turk storms out of the dojo and exclaims to Chaka: "JUST YOU WAIT, CHAKA! I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE AND I WILL BECOME THE NEW MASTER OF THE IRON SNAKE CLAN!" A few weeks later, Master Hagana had passed away and was given a memorial service by the dojo, led by Grandmaster Chaka. The next night, Turk would burst through the doors with vengeance in his eyes. He shouts: "CHAKA! This is the day you give back the title of grandmaster! YOU KNOW I RIGHTFULLY DESERVED IT!" In that instance, Turk would set the building ablaze by using a bottle of alcohol stuffed with paper that had been lit on fire. He smashed the bottle onto the wall and the flames began to spread. Chaka was not happy about this, and looked to see that his former friend had turned down this path of revenge: "To think you would stoop this low to set your former dojo on fire. You have dishonored Master Hagana's home by setting it on fire! You leave me no choice, brother!" Turk enters a fighting stance: "This time, we shall fight to the death!" Turk and Chaka would clash with each other, as the building slowly falls apart. The two would be trapped in the building together as their fight continues. They'd clash with a punch and a kick respectively. Chaka continued to evade Turk's attacks, and struck at Turk's arm to dislocate it. Turk goes down onto his knees and yelps in pain. Chaka then strikes at the other arm, but does not dislocate it. Instead he strikes at a vital point, rendering the arm useless for a short time. Turk is left defenseless as Chaka stands tall against him. Turk bows his head down and accepts defeat. Chaka readies the killing blow…But he doesn't go for it. Instead he retracts his fist and puts it back to his side. Turk looks up in shock: "What are you doing!? Kill me!"
Chaka tells him: "Truth be told, I pity you. I feel as if you've become pathetic and sought out your revenge to fulfill your need of self loathing. You and I were once the same. And now you decide to burn down the dojo over the title of master!? You have caused nothing but pain to both mine and master's hearts! You didn't even show up to his memorial service out of respect!" Turk stayed silent as his other arm would be able to move again. Chaka continued: "Turkani Kitsueko..You have betrayed the Iron Snake Clan. I will avenge Master Hagana in his name, and will finish you myself when the time is right. GO! NEVER SHOW YOUR FACE HERE AGAIN!" Turk would leave the establishment and would never set foot in the dojo again. By the time morning had come, the building was nothing but ashes and was put out by the rain. After that day, Chaka had become cold, strict, and was nothing like his former master. Chaka had become the very thing he swore to destroy. He became more like Turk, and was filled with revenge.
After four years, Turk had given up on his revenge against Chaka and settled down. Turk had married a woman named Juliet, and had two children together. The eldest being Kenta, who would be nicknamed Kiki, and the youngest, being Oritsu. It would seem that Turk had moved on from the events at the Iron Snake clan. Oritsu was only one at the time, and Kiki was three. Chaka on the other hand, would lose the title as grandmaster, because of the incident four years ago. Chaka became an assassin for hire and continued his life from there. Eventually Chaka would receive a mission from an anonymous source. The mission was to kill Turk's wife, Juliet. Chaka immediately recognizes her as Turk's wife and decides to go about this mission personally. In the middle of the night, Chaka had snuck into the Kitsueko residence through the roof window. He made his way through the house silently until he arrived in the bedroom. However, Turk had a gut feeling that an intruder had entered his house. Turk would wake up and would be met with a horrible sight. Chaka had just killed Juliet in the midst of his sleep. Chaka drops the body of Juliet and tells Turk: "For the crimes against the Iron Snake Clan, you shall pay the ultimate price, Turkani Kitsueko!" Turk was left devastated at the loss of his wife, and wanted to go after Chaka. But, Turk had become unfit for combat ever since his first defeat four years ago, and retired after that. Despite the loss of his wife, he gave up on revenge. Instead, he would pass it to his son, Oritsu.
Turk tells the child: "Keep this in your mind, boy…I want you to go after the man named Chaka. He is the one who took your mother away from us. He will pay for his crimes! Now, you'll be the one to carry on the Kitsueko family name!" Throughout the years, Turk barely raised his kids. He neglected Kiki entirely, and as a result, she became independent and raised herself. However, he had a soft spot for Oritsu, as he wanted him to carry on his revenge plan. So Oritsu was put through excruciating training by his father. He had successfully passed down his vengeance to Oritsu, but it came with a cost. Oritsu had a burning hatred for his father, and dissociated him completely. Turk had planted the seeds of revenge into Oritsu's heart, knowing he'd carry it out. Oritsu decides to live with Kiki and they would go on to raise themselves as a duo. Kiki got an internship at Capsule Corp, and Oritsu would befriend the grandson of the President. Ever since then, the rest is history.
Throughout the day, Chaka had blended in with the crowd, following behind Oritsu, Vejin, and Letuce. Eventually as the night progressed, the crowd would dissipate. Oritsu, Vejin, and Letuce all come back to Capsule Corp where they meet up with Kiki and go back inside. Oritsu stays in the guest room, and Letuce goes back to his room, Kiki goes back to her room, and so on. Vejin decides to stay up a little late and wanders through Capsule Corp. Chaka receives a notification from his messaging app, and sees his next target is Kenta "Kiki" Kitsueko. Her occupation? Why it's right at Capsule Corp. It couldn't have been better for Chaka, and he quietly moves through the streets and passes by Capsule Corp security. He hangs onto the ledge of each window and peers in on which room was hers. After about a few minutes, Chaka pulls himself up onto the ledge of Kiki's room, peering in to kill his next target. Chaka is going to kill Kiki!
The Two Super Saiyans: Ryuko and Saito (#1)
Eight months prior to the events of today, shortly after the defeat of the Venom Mercenaries, Ryuko and Saito would finally be having a long awaited conversation. Saito's eyes stared straight into Ryuko's. His expression grew stern, "So, it's true." He'd say in a low voice. Ryuko, with a bead of sweat dripping down the side of his face, would slowly nod. "Yes, Bruzzell..he's my older brother." Saito would nod, accepting this newfound truth. "So you're aware his comeuppance is inevitable, yes? It's only a matter of time. You heard what Kobra had said before he died." Ryuko would nod to this as well. "One year's time, he's coming here isn't he.." Ryuko would sound almost grim, he wanted with all his heart to just forget his existence and move on. "Yes, I heard his schemes while aboard his ship. He's hellbent on killing you, whatever you did, he's fixated on your demise. I've seen the damage he can cause, I've seen what he can do..and I imagine what I experienced was only a fraction of his power."
Ryuko's eyes would widen, if what Saito says is true..then Bruzzell could be stronger than his Grandpa! No…everyone on this planet combined wouldn't be able to stop him. "So..we're dead then?" Ryuko would look hopelessly at Saito. Saito would shake his head, "Not exactly, I've seen what you can do. You've awakened the legend, you're a Super Saiyan.. Though one Super Saiyan won't be enough, but two? Might just do the trick." Ryuko would seem confused at this notion, two Super Saiyans? His Grandpa had died. And he couldn't have been talking about Old Man Vegeta. "But, I'm the only Super Saiyan here..other than Grandpa and the Old Man. I won't risk putting Vegeta in danger, Grandpa dying on me is bad enough." Saito would once again shake his head, "No I'm not referring to any of them. You're looking at another Saiyan who's realized the legend."
Ryuko's eyes would widen, "You…what?.." and with that, Saito's hair would rise. A familiar golden glow would burst around Saito, and the fiery rages of a Saiyan would emerge from Saito's body given form into a Super Saiyan. "I awakened because of Bruzzell.. He destroyed the planet I had been living on, the people there were innocent, he was only after me..yet he killed everyone there without regard. He only kept me alive as a pet.." As Saito grew frustrated with his failures his power would rise a little, it was obvious to Ryuko that he wasn't used to this form, same as him. Saito would take a deep breath and power down. "You-..I'm sorry." Ryuko would say. Saito would shake his head, "No need for apologies, what's done is done. We need to move on. I'm suggesting you train with me. If Kobra's right, then we have 1 year to prepare. Train with me for 1 year and we might just be able to master this form. With the 2 of us, and your friends of course. I'm determined to defeat him this time. I won't lose to your brother twice."
Saito would extend his hand to Ryuko, clenching his fist. Ryuko would extend his hand as well, going in for a fist bump. "Alright, I'll train with you." Saito would smile, for the first time he'd have a friend, a fellow Saiyan, to train with. This ought to be exciting.
