Bad Romance: Episode 2
Camping spot, Kanto. 26th April, 2023. 9:03am.
After ignoring each other for what seemed like forever, May and Drew and Misty and Ash finally got off the bus. The teacher then gathered everyone around the fire pit. "Okay, so, we're going to be living in those dorms over there," she pointed to a building. "And since there are only four dorms, six people will live in one dorm, and two people will share one room, you got that? Your roommates will be written on a piece of paper stuck on your dorm room door. Also, there are a few hot springs in the area. A map to one of them, where you will bathe, will be in your rooms. Please be there by ten am. Thank you." She finished, before dismissing everyone.
Dawn ran up to one of the dorm room doors with Paul right behind her. Dawn gasped loudly. "Paul! We're roommates!" she cheered gleefully, before dragging him to their room. May and Drew walked up to the door next. "May Maple and…Drew Hayden?! What the fuck? I have to live with this idiot?!" she shrieked. Drew folded his arms and looked away. "Yeah, guess what? I'm not so interested in living with you either," he huffed. May rolled her eyes. "Whatever. Let's just go." she said, grabbing her bags and filing into the room, Drew right behind her.
Misty jogged to the first dorm. "Misty…Misty…Misty…There! Misty Waterflower! And…Ash Ketchum?!" she exclaimed in horror. Ash caught up to her. "Say what now?" he read the list and his eyes widened. "What! You're with me?!" Misty rolled her eyes. "Yeah, no shit, Sherlock," she snarled. Leaf tapped Misty on the shoulder. "Don't worry, we're in the same dorm." she tried to assure her sister. Misty nodded defeatedly as Leaf took her leave.
"Excuse me, is this Dorm 1?" A voice asked from behind her. She immediately froze. "U-uh yeah." she confirmed. That voice… Rudy nodded. "Okay, thanks." he turned around, but then froze in his tracks. "Hey, do I know you?" he reached out for her hand. At that moment, Ash reeled her into the room and closed the door behind her.
Misty turned to him angrily. "What the fuck Ash!" she hollered. Ash scratched his head. "I was bored." he shrugged. Misty groaned and fell back on the bed. Ash looked at the clock. "Also, you should probably get ready for the steam bath thing." Misty gasped. "Ew! What the hell, I'm not fucking taking a bath with you!" she yelled. Ash slapped his forehead. "God…do you even listen? The teacher asked us to be at the hot springs by ten. You have to wear a swim suit or something." Misty blinked dumbly. "Oh yeah. I'll…" she looked around to find an excuse as to recover from the initial embarrassment. "just…go tell Leaf," ahe grinned fakely before running down the hall. Ash rolled his eyes. This bitch…bathing with her? Is she crazy? A small lustful smile crept onto Ash's face. No Ash! Mind out of the gutter! he whacked himself.
Drew flipped a page of his novel, captivated by the writing, when the bathroom door flew open. He looked up and stared, his face now a slight pink colour, a small smirk making its way to his face. May was standing in front of the mirror, wearing a micro purple dress with her yellow swimsuit underneath. May glanced at him through the mirror. "I'm going to the hot springs," she announced. Drew scrambled up to a stand. "I'm coming with." he said. May rolled her eyes. "Sure," she said, turning on her heel and marching out the door, Drew right behind her.
They started walking towards the springs. Drew decided to bring up something he'd been wondering. "So," he started. "Why'd you…decide to wear this dress?" he asked cautiously. May folded her arms instinctively. "Because I wanted to. Why?" Drew glanced away. "Well, your swimsuit is kinda visible…" he hinted. They both stopped. May looked around to see many of the males in the area staring at her bottom. She flushed.
Luckily, Drew came to her rescue. He immediately placed his jacket over her skirt, covering it. May instantly grabbed the jacket's sleeves, and they both tied a knot at her waist. Leaf, who was walking a few feet behind them, giggled at the scene. The two blushed and rushed over to the springs, trying not to pay any mind to the female chuckling behind them. Leaf shook her head. "These kids," she murmured to herself, smiling brightly.
As soon as they reached the springs, May and Drew latched onto Dawn and Paul who were chatting animatedly. Well, Dawn was. Anyways, the bath went smoothly; May and Misty talked while relaxing in the water, Ash and Drew raced across the pool of water, Dawn and Paul were still talking, and Gary was relaxing by the water, but Leaf was nowhere in sight.
Gary searched the entire area, until he found her sitting on a secluded beach chair, deep in thought. He approached her and sat down beside her quietly. "Hey," Leaf looked up. "Oh. Hey." she greeted. "What're you thinking about?" he asked after a few minutes of silence. "It's just…I'm worried." she stated vaguely. "About?" Gary pressed. Leaf looked him dead in the eye. "You kissed me, didn't you?" Gary's mouth dropped open. "What?!"
