Biography:

Know, oh prince, that between the years when the oceans drank Atlantis and the gleaming cities, and the years of the rise of the Sons of Aryas, there was an Age undreamed of, when shining kingdoms lay spread across the world like blue mantles beneath the stars — Nemedia, Ophir, Brythunia, Hyperborea, Zamora with its dark-haired women and towers of spider-haunted mystery, Zingara with its chivalry, Koth that bordered on the pastoral lands of Shem, Stygia with its shadow-guarded tombs, Hyrkania whose riders wore steel and silk and gold. But the proudest kingdom of the world was Aquilonia, reigning supreme in the dreaming west. Hither came Conan, the Cimmerian, black-haired, sullen-eyed, sword in hand, a thief, a reaver, a slayer, with gigantic melancholies and gigantic mirth.

At length he sought adventure at distant lands and trodded the jeweled thrones of the Earth beneath his sandalled feet... until at last, he found his own kingdom and wore its crown upon a troubled brown. But that is another story.

Class Skills:

Riding: A

Saber can ride chariots, charts, horses and camels expertly. He is also an expert hand with boats, since he was a feared pirate for years.

After some initial perplexity, modern land and water vehicles are manageable as well.

Saber cannot ride dragons or phantasmal beasts.

Magic Resistance: A

Saber was not a good believer, in that while he believed in the existence of his people's god Crom, he held little faith in said divinity's sway over mankind. Crom was meant to be a distant being mostly uninterested with the affairs of men, and Cimmerians like Conan rarely prayed to him. This makes him immune to several low category spells of holy and semi-divine origins. Saber's lack of faith plays on the 'Clap your Hands if you Believe' principle, in reverse.

Saber fought many sorcerers and warlocks, and the demons summoned by them, and he slew them all. Even most magic from the Age of Gods has few chances of hurting him, since those were his times and he had all of his victories against the supernatural in them.

Personal Skills:

Thief: B

While appearing to be brutish and very ill tempered, Saber is calculating and schemingly devious. He was a thief and pirate, an expert on stealing from others. While he lacks true Presence Concealment, he isn't unable of infiltration, and he can direct units of men and women to fulfill his orders during illegal jobs of assassination and theft.

This is Conan from his youth, so he lacks the Military Tactics acumen he would have from his later days as a king. But he has convincing manners, in his crude way, and while he won't talk a lot he knows what to say and when.

Battle Continuation: A+

Even when subjected to grievous wounds, if Saber is left with no options but standing his ground he will happily fall in battle, as long as he tugs his adversary down with him.

The Servant can continue fighting even beyond levels of damage that would incapacitate most other Sabers. Towards the end of his fight he will grow increasingly mindless, like a furious animal. His arm will not rest as long as there is a hint of life in him.

Bravery: A

Saber was fearless, but also no fool. He could retreat if he saw there was no likely victory for him in the wings; but he wouldn't flee until he was certain he had exhausted all possibilities for victory.

According to his own moral code, forged from traditions of his tribe and his much later travels, he considers cowardship a dishonor and looks down on the weak willed. He has astonishing endurance against torture and coertion, and when he gains chances to take revenge upon anyone who wronged him, his vengeance gives him a great boost in all stats.

Noble Phantasm:

The Eye of the Serpent: B+

Anti-Army.

A large ruby that was housed in the Tower of the Serpent, a place of unholy worship under the influence of the snake cult led by Thulsa Doom. It was stolen from the sacrificial pit of the tower by Conan and Mongol warrior Subotai, during a joint assault with female pirate Valeria of the Red Brotherhood.

The gem contains the wrathful spirit of a giant serpent god gifted with great ferocity and durability. It can destroy whole cities in a matter of minutes. The serpent's skin can only be penetrated by a weapon with Divinity trait or high magic from the Era of Gods.

The beast won't harm Saber himself as long as he is holding the ruby. Should the gem be stolen from him, anyone else can control the serpent. Saber can dispel the creature at any time of his choosing, once again, as long as he is in possession of the ruby.

Summoning: "Saber. That is my name. Should you call yourself Master? Prove it."

Start of Battle:

"Are you afraid of death?"

"Run from me… and I will tear apart the mountains to find you! I will follow you to Hell!"

"What gods do you pray to?"

"You can not escape me! Lead me into a trap and I'll pile the heads of your kinsmen at your feet!"

Attack:

"You black dog!"

"Damn you!"

"I'll bathe this room in your blood!"

Damage:

"CROM!"

"No!"

"Damnation!"

"You dog, you filthy dog!"

Victory:

"I live, I love, I slay, and I am content."

"There is always a way, if the desire be coupled with courage."

"Let them make rimes for the vultures."

"My forgiveness is irrelevant. Go ask Crom!"

Defeat:

"For us, there is no spring. Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm."

"When a Cimmerian feels thirst, it is a thirst for blood. When he feels cold, it is the cold edge of steel."

"No soul survives this life intact."

Defeat by Noble Phantasm:

"In the old free days all I wanted was a sharp sword and a straight path to my enemies. Now no paths are straight and my sword is useless."

Noble Phantasm Activation: "I am Conan the Cimmerian! Heed my voice, Serpent! Slay my enemies until none opposes our path!"

Extra Dialogue:

"No man should live in chains. I admire your spirit, brute." (When you have Berserker Spartacus).

"You are one who weaves the fates of men. What are you doing down here, witch?" (When you have Caster Skuld or Ruler Belldandy).

"Huhn. So, we meet once again, Shuma Gorath... You are smaller and weaker than when I last saw you. " (When you have Foreigner Shuma Gorath).

"Heh... Avengers Assemble." (When you have Shielder Captain America, Caster Iron Man, Berserker Hulk, Berserker She-Hulk, Archer Hawkeye or Assassin Black Widow).

"You remind me of a woman I once knew. There is the same fire in your pupils." (When you have Saber Artoria Pendragon).

"Who would like to see me strangle a sorcerer?" (When you have Caster Gilles de Rais).

Birthday: "By Crom, that is a good joke! The anniversary of your birth! But, as long as there is mead, let us partake!"

Event: "Let us go there."

Holy Grail: "Let me live deep while I live; let me know the rich juices of red meat and stinging wine on my palate, the hot embrace of white arms, the mad exultation of battle when the blue blades flame and crimson, and I am content. Let teachers and philosophers brood over questions of reality and illusion. I know this: if life is illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me. I live, I burn with life. I have no desire for anything else."
