Summary: After sometime during the depression Peter is going through over dealing with Gamora's death and then her being gone and not remembering him. Nebula helps him heal and soon starts to feel something for him which leads to him moving on from Gamora and with her.

Chapter 1

Peter is in the bar drinking not caring about Rocket using his player at the moment as he is sad and depressed over the memories he has of Gamora. He could not help it living in the planet knowhere when it was previously occupied by the former Gamora's contact the collector before he died by her father Thanos which is also Nebula's father as well before he was destroyed by the avenger iron Man in his sacrifice.

Which he felt sad for the avengers loss. But knew that he still felt sad and angry at what happened to Gamora and will never forget her. He knew she is dead and yet not in some way with not a memory of him which hurts him even more than he can admit.

What he did not notice is Nebula staring at him with a sigh as he continues to get drunk on the memories of her sister. She knew she needed to help him so when he passed out she threw his drink away and picked him up to take him to his bedroom and tucked him in. wincing when she hears Gamora's name from his voice and the I love you from it. She hopes he can someday move on.

She knew the more she helps him she may develop feelings for him. She does not want to get hurt by him if he rejects her feelings for him so if she ever has any for him she kept them hidden.

She closed the door after moving his hand from her arm, and putting it back beside his bed, hoping for him to get a good sleep to have him be sober when he wakes up. She noticed Rocket look at her with pity, as he spoke to her,

"So when are you going to realize you have feelings for our friend and leader Quill?"

"not going to admit if I have any Rocket, don't want to be compared or be in second place to my sister."

"You know your more there for him than her right, since she is not here and is more dead and gone and not in his life and all of wish he can see that."

"I know but I would like for him to see that himself and get him to realize it and that I am number one in his life somehow. But at the moment I am just taken care of him so he does not get things taken too far in his life."

"You mean with his drunken fits he has at the moment due to is feelings he cant get over until you make him realize it."

"Exactly, wait a minute, hey that's not right Rocket.'

She called out to him as he chuckled while walking away from her. She sighed as she turned around and went back to Quills room after getting something to eat and sat down in the chair across from his bed, waiting for him to wake up.

She sees him stir slowly and sees he is slowly waking up deciding not to smile at this she waits for him to notice her and see her in his room. To know that she supports and takes care of him.

Peter turns around to sit on his bed after moving the covers off of him to se Nebula staring at waiting for him to notice her ad for him to be fully awake to speak to her. He knows she takes care of him he sees it as a good thing of looking out for him and that he should just stop drinking and work on being sober. Knowing Gamora isn't coming back.

He wonders why that is and also why her sister nebula has been there for him throughout all these months in these journeys they've had. He knew that she has been there for him and wondered what else is everything they can do for him and his friends. While also counting her as one. He knew things will happen to be different for something to happen to change between them if they ever start anything.

He knew he needed to get over Gamora before he could start anything with her and be with her. he has to work on himself deep down. Peter had to figure something out and work out in anyway to feel good about what he feels about his family and friends. Thinking of something at this moment as he stares at Nebula on what he should say.

He rubbed his eyes from the sleep in the them, yawned and grabbed his clothes to get dressed in private. He seen Nebula leave for him to get dressed and after he got done, she came back to make sure he is alright and not going back into his drinking binges again.

Peter stares at her as he said, " thank you for being there for me Nebula even though I'm going through hard times now I know your always there for me and I appreciate that."

"your welcome Peter, I'm always here for you, even if my sister who you care about isn't.''

"yea I get that and I'm sorry about the feelings of what I'm going through about which to me its about time to give up and move on."

"I agree Peter it is time to move on now maybe it will give you closer and you can heal now."

Peter nods his head and agreed to it, and knowing it needs to be done so he can be sober and more focused and move on and be with his team and spend time with Nebula as she has supported him throughout his life.

He knows she will help him and be there for him even if Gamora is gone from his life rather she is dead or cant remember him anymore in her life.
