Chapter 2

Rocket spotted how Peter and Nebula interacted and hoped that something could happen between them to have him get over Gamora since she is not coming back. He thinks that Peter needs to have something to wake him up to feeling something for Nebula.

He thinks Peter needs to realize he can move on and could be better for him in the long run and see that things could work out better for him and be smart for his life. He wonders if Petr can want things better and see things through in his life to be with Nebula to be there for him.

Groot agreed with his father Rocket about a lot of things including about their leader Peter being with Nebula since she has been there for him through everything since Gamora hasn't. He knows that things will be slow and take time to go through if they decide to become a couple and he hopes the rest of the team approves as well.

Drax and Mantis looked on at the hopeful couple all the while secretly holding hands and having love of their own. Both hoped Peter came to his senses and realize Nebula can be there for him and want to be together with him as more than a friend.

Peter, meanwhile wondered what the time of it was when he thought about Nebula being there for him since Gamora hasn't been there for him or cant remember him or is dead in his life. Which hurt him to be honest but knew that things could change without having his friends and Nebula in his life.

He knew he should be grateful for what she has done for him besides the others who are his friends and he knew he has not having feelings for her but will be. Thinking things through to understand what she does for him and the others means a lot to him.

Nebula wondered what type of things she could do to cheer Peter up and be there for him in any way. Which will take time to know that things will work out between all of them and yet she wants to let Peter know she s there for him more than the others.

She knew that things will be different for other reasons and that she is not her sister but she hopes he will love her in his own way. Feeling that everything will happen to work out well and see that everything will need to happen for Peter and what she can do to help him.

Thinking things through in some form for anything to work out right in any way to see that things can get done for her to see that what she does is best for him. Wondering if something is going on in her mind to help him, in any way to know that things can do right.

She thought of things to happen and work out well for being with the team , and having fun ith them, while helping Peter out. She wanted to be there for him in some way and know that things can be able to handle and work out right.

Peter decided to talk to Nebula and ask her a few things while he speaks to her,

"why do you help me Nebula?'

"I help you because I want to and need to."

"you want to and need to Nebula."

"yes, and I'm happy to be there for you Peter, even when my sister can't."

"I can understand that Nebula."

"I'm not trying to replace my sister in your reflection of feelings Peter, but I'm here for you if you need me."

"And I'm thankful for that Nebula even if she is dead or another version of her is not here and can't remember me. I'm happy you're here for me and the rest of us."

"I'm happy I'm here too as well Peter and that 'm here for you and the team."

Both of them were in silence and thinking of what has to happen in some way to understand and see things through for the best of both of them. To figure out in what cases can happen to change in what has to happen and see if anything to work out in any more ways.

Wondering what has to happen and see something to figure out in what she can say to Peter as she opens her mouth to speak,

"Do you think you can move on from my sister sometime Peter and learn to love someone else?'

"Maybe it just depends on when it happens and if you have time to take it slow with me Nebula."

"Don't worry I will."

"Good."

then everything became silent in between them as they were lost in their thoughts.
