These are ideas for scenes I would like to see, or at least something similar, in Volume 10. These will include characters introduced and expanded on in the books, After the Fall and Before the Dawn. I don't own any of the characters, they belong to Rooster Teeth.

Redemption

Gillian was sitting in her cell re-reading a book she was given to help pass the time. This cell was all she knew since the defeat of Crown by Shade Academy. After the trial and sentencing, the only thing she had to look forward to being her regular visits from her father. He would keep her up to date with what was going on outside, so she knew about Salem, the fall of Atlas and its refugees arriving in Vacuo. She was secretly glad that Crown was defeated before Salem set her eyes on Vacuo. She would have tried to recruit the Crown to her side. While she would have had doubts, Jax would have jumped at the chance to use someone so powerful.

Her father also kept her informed of her brother's status. During their battle, she ended up giving the member of Team CFVY, Yatsuhashi, enough aura to completely wipe Jax's mind. Her father forgave her for doing that, but she could never forgive herself.

What her father enjoys talking about most, during his visits, was how he's been helping Professor Rumpole with her historical research of Vacuo. Gillian wasn't surprised, she still remembered how the Professor's passion for history was infectious during her classes.

Since her father had already visited today, Gillian was surprised when the door of her cell opened again. Someone new came into her cell. He wore white armor with bronze accents. He had short blonde hair with white streaks and blue eyes.

Jaune: "Hello, my name is Jaune Arc. Are you Gillian Asturias?"

Gillian: "Yes. What do you want?"

Jaune: "I was hoping to get your help."

Gillian: "Help? With what?"

Jaune: "I'll show you."

Jaune stepped to the side with his arm out, indicating for her to leave her cell. Gillian looked at him questioningly with one eyebrow up.

Jaune: "I've talked to Theodore. I am responsible for you while you're helping."

Gillian, already bored of the book she had been reading, decided to see what this Jaune Arc wanted of her. She left the cell and Jaune escorted her outside. She could hear the commotion before she saw it, and when she did, she was shocked. They were in a plaza filled with tents and injured people.

Jaune: "There was a Grimm attack, a large one. We aren't sure if it was Salem or just the increased negativity that's been going around. Either way, a lot of people got hurt and the medical teams could use some assistance."

Gillian: "What are you expecting me to do?"

Jaune: "With your Semblance, you can increase the chances of the more critically injured patient's survival."

As he was answering her question, Jaune made his way to the critically injured tent and began using his Semblance to heal a person laying on a cot. Gillian watched the boy speed up the Aura's healing ability until a medic stopped him. The patient had gone from critically injured to mildly injured and would be fine without Jaune's Semblance. The medic indicated what patient Jaune should go to next, and without looking at her moved on. She realized that they were trying to get Jaune to as many patients as possible before he runs out of Aura, so they stop him when the patient will be fine. Gillian stood in the chaos, trying to figure out if she should help or not, when she saw Jaune once again move to a new patient with a small smile on his face. Wanting to feel the same sense of accomplishment, she stepped up to a patient and began using her Semblance.

Team CFVY was watching as Jaune and Gillian worked with the medical teams to heal the injured. They couldn't believe that Jaune would request Gillian Asturias' assistance, but they understood as they watched. They, however, could not trust their former enemy to not run once the job was done.

Fox: "It's incredible, what they're doing."

Coco: "What are you sensing?"

Fox: "Gillian's Semblance allows her to affect the quantity of Aura in herself and those she touches. She's been focusing on those who are almost out of Aura and gives them enough to keep them stable until someone from the medical team can help them."

Yatsuhashi: "What about Jaune?"

Fox: "He's even more impressive. His Semblance allows him to improve the quality of a person's aura. It greatly accelerates the Aura's ability to heal."

Velvet: "How are you able to tell the difference?"

Fox: "I can tell this by the colors they give off. All the ones who Gillian has helped have the same color Aura as her. That color stays until the aura she gives them runs out and they begin using their own again. When Jaune uses his Semblance, his Aura is going into the other person's and the color of their Aura gets brighter."

Team CFVY continued to watch over Gillian as she worked.

After hours of working, Gillian finally collapsed and was helped to a chair by a medic. All the critically injured patients have been stabilized, but she noticed that Jaune was still working. During this time, she had grown jealous of the boy, more specifically his Semblance. He only used his own Aura, where she would need to take Aura from someone else. If her Semblance was like his, perhaps her life would have been different.

When she was working, there were people who would volunteer their own Aura to help others. Their actions caused her the regret her actions in Crown even more. She watched as a short older man (Klein) walked up to Jaune and tell him something. Jaune nodded his head and stopped working. He looked around until he spotted Gillian and made his way to her.

Jaune: "Thank you, Gillian. With your help, we were able to prevent a large loss of life."

Gillian: "So, what now?"

Jaune: "Now, we head back to Shade."

Gillian: "Why Shade?"

Jaune just smiled and lead her back to Shade Academy. He took her to an isolated room at the edge of the dorms.

Gillian: "I hope you're not trying something funny."

Jaune: "No. This is an offer from Theodore.

Gillian: "Offer?"

Jaune: If you are willing to continue helping the medical team, you can stay here instead of a cell. There will be a guard on you at all times, but you'll have the ability to walk around the campus and even help your father."

Gillian: "Why are you being so kind to me?"

Jaune: "Headmaster Theodore, Professor Rumpole, and your father told me about how you were before the Crown. I also heard about your brother Jax."

Gillian: "Jax didn't have to use his Semblance on me to join the Crown. I did it of my own free will because I loved him."

Jaune: "I think that because you were focusing on his Semblance that you didn't notice how he was manipulating you in other ways. They're away on a mission at the moment, but then they get back I think you should talk to my friends Blake, Emerald, and Weiss. They have had some similar experiences that might help you. But, this? This is all on you. It's your choice."

Gillian looked between Jaune and the room a few times before entering and closing the door.
