Legend of The Lion King: He Lives In You
Penny appears on Stage Left with Simba and Nala walking through the Jungle on the stage.
Penny: "Although Simba and Nala were happy to see each other again, Simba can't go back to the Pridelands after what happened on that fateful day. But he had got some encouragement from an Old Friend of the Family to help him get over his past and take his place as King."
Craig: Isn't this a great place? Nala, you're gonna love it here."
Wildernessa: "It's beautiful. But...We don't belong here!"
Craig: "There's so much more that you haven't seen it."
Wildernessa: "Simba, I don't understand something. You've been alive all this time. Why didn't you come back to Pride Rock?"
Craig: Why Leave paradise? I just needed to... get out on my own. Live my own life. And I did. And it's great. And besides, I can't go back, Not after…"
Wildernessa: "Look, I know you're pretty torn up about your Father, but We needed you. I needed you. Listen to your uncle of yours, Scar allied with the hyenas to take over Pridelands!"
Craig: "He what?!"
Wildernessa: "Everything's destroyed. There's no food. No water. It's a Shadowland! Simba, if we go back we can do something about it even someone who doesn't know much about animals would know!"
Craig: "You wouldn't understand."
Wildernessa: "What wouldn't I understand?"
Craig: "No, no, no. It doesn't matter. Hakuna Matata."
Wildernessa: What?"
Craig: "Hakuna Matata.: It means "No Worries." It's something I learned out here. Look, sometimes bad things happen… And there's nothing you can do about it. So why worry?:
Wildernessa: "Well, that's a stupid philosophy! What's happened to you? You're not the Simba I remember."
Craig: "You're right, I'm not not anymore, Are you satisfied?"
Wildernessa: "No, just disappointed. What about the pride? What about your home? And Scar?"
Craig: "I'm not the king! Scar is, besides you're beginning to sound like my father."
Wildernessa: "Good. At least one of us does."
Craig: (Angrily) "Listen, you think you can just come here and tell me how to live my life? You don't even know what I've been through!" (Breathing) "I'm sorry!"
Wildernessa: "Simba just think about it for a moment."
Craig: "About what?"
Nala then leaves Stage Left leaving Simba alone pacing around the Stage.
Craig: "She's wrong, I can't go back! What would it prove, anyway? It won't change anything. And I'm the reason my Dad is dead! You said you'd always be there for me! But you're not. It's my fault! It's all my fault! I don't need anyone, I don't need any friends! No one needs me!
Simba passes by Rafiki who appears from Stage Right and decides to follow him chanting.
Charlie: Asante sana squash banana, Wewe nugu mimi hapana (Continues Chanting).
Craig: "Go away!"
Charlie: "So you're gonna just give up and not put up a fight! Besides, going away will not answer the question!
Craig: "What question?"
Charlie: (Chanting) Asante sana squash banana, Wewe nugu mimi hapana
Craig: "Will you cut that out?!"
Charlie:" I can't cut it out, I will grow right back!"
Craig: "Creepy monkey, Will you stop following me? Who are you?"
Charlie: "I know exactly, Who I am, The question is "Who are you?"
Craig: "I'm nobody, just go away!"
Charlie: "Come on, anybody is somebody even a nobody."
Craig: "I thought I knew. Now I'm not so sure."
Charlie: "Well, I know who you are. Come it's a secret."
Simba comes closer to Rafiki as he whispers into his ear.
Charlie: (Chanting) "Asante sana squash banana, Wewe nugu mimi hapana!"
Craig: "Enough! Will you stop it?! What's it supposed to mean anyway?!"
Charlie: "It means, "You're a baboon and I'm not."
Craig: "I think you're confused."
Charlie: "Me confused No! I'm not the one who's confused here, You don't even know who you are?"
Craig: "And I supposed you know?!"
Charlie: "Sure do, I held the son of the king. You are Mufasa's boy!"
Craig: "I am?! Wait! You knew my father!"
Charlie: "Correction, I know your father!"
Craig: "I hate to break this to you but he died a long time ago!"
Charlie: "Wrong again! He's alive! And I'll show him to you. You trust old Rafiki, he knows what he's talking about. Now come, Your father is waiting!"
Rafiki leads Simba to the reflecting pool in the center of the stage.
Charlie: "Shh, Look down there. Do you see him?
Craig; "No, I see me. Besides, That's not my father. It's just my reflection."
Charlie: "No, Look harder and closer."
Then Penny, her family, and friends appeared on stage holding lanterns as they sang as the chorus surrounded Simba.
Chorus: (singing) Ingonyama nengw' enamabala
Ingonyama nengw' enamabala
Charlie: (singing) Night and the spirit of life calling

They continue this chanting Rafiki taps the water with his staff. Soon Simba's reflection changes to his father's reflection.
Craig: "Father?"
Charlie: "You see," (Singing) He lives in you
(Hela, hey mamela, hela)
He lives in me
(Hela, hey mamela, hela)
He watches over
(Hela, hey mamela, hela)
Everything we see
(Hela, hey mamela, hela)
Into the water
(Hela, hey mamela, hela)
Into the truth
(Hela, hey mamela, hela)
In your reflection
He lives in you
Then Thunder was heard accompanied by the Wind blowing. The Clouds formed above Simba becoming the Head of a Lion.
Thomas: "Simba!"
Craig: "Dad?"
Then Mufasa appears in the clouds now white and standing on a hidden platform disguised as clouds.
Thomas: "Simba, you have forgotten me."
Craig: "No how could I?"
Thomas: "You have forgotten who you are, and so have forgotten me. Look inside yourself, Simba. You are more than what you have become. You must take your place in the Circle of Life."
Craig: "How can I go back? I'm not who I used to be."
Thomas: "Remember who you are. You are my son, and the one true king."
Craig: "I'm sorry, It's just don't know how to be like you."
Thomas: "As King, I was most proud of one thing having you as my son."
Craig: (voice breaks) "Dad, but that was a long time ago."
Thomas: "No, Simba that is forever!"
Charlie: He lives in you
(Hela, hey mamela, hela)
He lives in me
(Hela, hey mamela, hela)
He watches over
(Hela, hey mamela, hela)
Everything we see
(Hela, hey mamela, hela)
Into the water
(Hela, hey mamela, hela)

(Hela, hey mamela, hela)
In your reflection
He lives in you
Chorus: He lives in you

Thomas: "Remember who you are!"
Craig: "No! Please! Don't leave me. Father, please don't leave me! Don't leave me again! Dad!"
Thomas: "I never left you and never will! Remember who you are! Remember!"
Then Mufasa disappears from the stage leaving alone Simba and Rafiki on the stage.
Charlie: "Hai Bo! What was that? The weather. Very peculiar. Don't you think?"
Craig: "Yeah. Looks like the winds are changing."
Charlie: "Ah yes, Change is good."
Craig: "Yeah, but it's not easy. I know what I have to do. It means I'll have to face my past. I have been running away for so long."
Rafiki hits Simba in the head with his staff.
Craig: "Ouch! What was that for?!"
Charlie: "It doesn't matter; it's in the past!"
Craig: "Yeah, but it still hurts."
Rafiki: "Oh yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it or... learn from it."
Rafiki does it again, but Simba dodges the staff.
Charlie: "Hah, you see! And so I ask again, "Who are you?"
Simba quickly realizes what he's talking about that he must now accept his responsibilities and take his place as King and Return home back to the Pridelands.
Craig: "I am Simba, Son of Mufasa!"
Charlie: "And what are you going to do now?
Craig: First, I'm gonna take your stick! And then I'm going to march back home, And claim my place!"
Simba snatches the staff from Rafiki.
Charlie: "Haha, that's my boy! You're ready, Wait? No no no no, not the stick! Give it back!"
Then Simba tosses the staff back to Rafiki as the Lion runs off.
Charlie: "Hey where are you going?"
Craig: "I'm going back!"
Charlie: "Good! Go on! Get out of here!" (Laughs and Hollers)
Then the Stage lights as the African Tribesmen appear with the proud family as they danced with Simba to bring the song to an end.
Charlie and Chorus: He lives in you
(Hela, hey mamela, hela)

The Audience cheers as the Tribesmen and Proud Family leave the Stage as Simba and meet back with his friends who came to the stage.
Craig: "Nala, I decided to go back!"
Wildernessa: "You are?"
Craig: "Yes? I realized you were right and I'm ready to face the past!"
Spongebob: "Count us in too!"
Patrick: "At you're service my liege!"
Craig: "You guys, really are?"
Kelsey: "Well, we gotta keep you out of trouble!"
JP: "We're here for you, bud!
Omar: "All for one, and one for all after all."
Wildernessa: "I'm glad you're actually coming home."
Craig: "Me too. (Turns to the Jungle Animals) "Everyone I have an announcement to make, It turns out that I am the prince of the Pridelands. My home is now in grave danger under the tyrant rule of my uncle and the hyenas! You have all welcomed me into this community and helped me. I just wanna say would you help me?"
The Jungle Animals were murmuring with each other while deciding.
Xavier: "I will help you Simba!"
Kit: "I volunteer!"
Bobby: "I volunteer too!"
Cannonball:" I do too!"
Handlebar: "And the rest of the crew too!"
Jason: "And us!"
Stacks: "I'm here for you"
Sewer queen: "My men and I, will gladly aid you!"
Maya: "And don't forget us!"
They all volunteered to help Simba smiled as he knew he had allies by his side. The curtains slowly drop down as the Audience Claps.
