Legend of The Lion King: Battle of Pride Rock

Oscar Appeared on Stage Right as the setting changed from the Jungle to the Pridelands. It was now dark and gray, desolate and barren. The Plants and trees shrived and died and there was no water. Animal Skeletons littered the landscape as a tribesman with a Vulture Kite kite flew over the land.

Oscar: "So, Simba returned home, only to find the kingdom in ruins. And when he reached the border, he saw how bad things had gotten, for under Scar's tyranny, the Circle of Life was thrown completely out of balance! And boy was he devastated."

Then Simba appeared Stage Left followed by the other animals and saw how his home was now in ruins under the rule of King Scar. Now with the Prince's return, he must set things right.

Craig: "Whoa, you weren't kidding, Nala."

Wildernessa: "It's awful isn't it?"

Craig: "I never wanted to believe you, But now…This will all change when it's over."

Wildernessa: "What are you going to do now?"

Craig: "My father once told me that I must protect Everything the light touches."

SpongeBob: "So, we're really gonna fight your uncle for all this?!"

Craig: "Yes, Timon this is my home."

JP: "Does that include that rock?"

Craig: "Yes, it does"

Spongebob: "Talk about your fixer-upper."

Jason: "I like what you did with the place, Although you went too heavy on the carcasses!"

Then a certain Hornbird came flying around from Stage Right.

Squidward: "Huh? It can't be?!"

Patrick: "Hey look a bird!"

Craig: "Is that…?"

Squidward: "Is it you?!"

Craig: "Hello Zazu, It's good to be back old friend!"

Squidward: "Simba! You are alive! And look at you and you've returned!" (bows down): "You're majesty welcome home!"

Spongebob: "Say who's he?"

Craig: "Guys, this is Zazu."

JP: "Hey look it's a puffin!"

Squidward: "Charming, Simba, We are with you until the end!"

Craig: "Thank you! Follow me!"

The animals sneak in as Pride Rock rolls in Stage Right and the Hyenas show up on the stage.

Spongebob: "Hyenas everywhere!"

Kelsey: "I hate hyenas! Well, not you Jason!"

Jason: "Nah, I'm used to it."

Spongebob: "So what's your plan on getting past the slobbering guards?"

Craig: "Live bait."

Patrick: "That's a great idea. Those guys could never resist fresh meat! So all we need to do is find something that's like big, plump, and juicy, maybe like a gnu…Why's everyone looking at me?"

Spongebob: "Come on!"

Then Timon and Pumbaa appeared in front of the Hyenas who noticed them.

Spongebob: "Bonjour mademoiselle!"

Hyenas: "Huh?"

Spongebob: "It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we proudly present Your dinner! Be Our…"

They screamed as they ran off with the hyenas chasing them offstage.

Craig: "Nala, You find my mother and rally the lionesses!"

Kelsey: "And what about us Simba?"

Craig: "You go all go with Nala!"

JP: "What about you?"

Craig: "I'll deal with Scar!"

Squidward: "I know where he is right now at Pride Rock, I'll take you to him!"

Craig: "Thank you Zazu!"

Wildernessa: "Be careful Simba!"

The Animals leave the stage as Scar coming from Stage Left walks onto Pride Rock alongside Shenzi, Banzai, Ed, and Wobbuffet.

James: "We're starving!"

Meowth: "There's nothing for us to eat!

Wobbuffet: "Wobbuffet!"

Jessie: "Scar, We need to do something about this?!"

Squilliam: "You're right, I will do something about it. Sarabi!"

Then Sarabi comes in from Stage Left still in mourning over her husband as Scar approaches her.

Diana: "Yes Scar?"

Squilliam: "Oh Sarabi, Why must you put through this? If you and the other lionesses want to eat all you have to do is be my Queen. You're suffering from what? The life you once knew? A king you once loved? I tried to make you understand what a true king can be! And where is your hunting party? They're not doing their job!"

Diana: "Scar, there is no food. The herds have moved on!"

Squilliam: "No! You're just not looking hard enough!"

Diana: "It's over. There is nothing left. We have only one choice. We must leave Pride Rock!"

Squilliam: "We're not going anywhere!"

Diana: "Scar, a true king's power is his compassion and what are you doing is that you have sentenced us all to death!"

Squilliam: "So be it!"

Diana: "You can't do that!"

Squilliam: "I'm the King, I can do whatever I want!"

Diana: "If you were half the King Mufasa was-"

Squilliam: "I'm ten times the King Mufasa was! And I always will be! And never say that name!"

Diana: "You are nothing compared to Mufasa!"

Scar roars in anger and attacks her despite Sarabi fighting back Scar manages to knock her out as she falls down to the floor. Then the sound of Thunder and Lightning flashes as Simba appears from Stage Right and Roars at Scar.

Craig: "NO SCAR!"

Squilliam: (Horrified gasps) "Mufasa?! No, it can't be! You're dead!"

Craig: "Get away from my mother!"

Scar backs away in fear as Simba runs to his mother lying down and gets down to help her up.

Diana: (groaning) "Mufasa?"

Craig: "No mother, it's me!"

Diana: "Wait, Simba? You're alive, How can that be?"

Sarabi hugs Simba, it is a miracle that he is alive while Scar realizes that Simba is not dead, but is alive and has come back after all those years.

Craig: "I'm here, Mother I'm home!"

Squilliam: "Simba?! You're alive! I'm a little surprised to see you, Alive…" (snarls at the hyenas)

The Hyenas whimpered in fear while some of them glared at Banzai, Ed, and Wobbuffet. Simba gets up with his staff as his weapon approaches his uncle Scar to confront him.

Craig: "Give me one good reason, why I shouldn't rip you apart?!"

Squilliam: "I'll give you more than one. You see the pressures of ruling a kingdom-"

Craig: "Are no longer yours Step down Scar!"

Squilliam: "Oh, oh, yes Well, I would, heh, naturally, heh - however, there is one little problem. You see them?" (Pointing to the horde of hyenas around them.) "They think I'm the king."

Wildernessa: "Well, We don't!"

Nala appears with the lionesses and the Jungle Animal army coming from Stage Right.

Wildernessa: "Your reign is over Scar! Simba is the rightful king If you wanna get through to him, You get through us! Are you with me Lions and Animals?!:

Craig: "The choice is yours, Scar. Either step down or fight!"

Squilliam: "Must this all end in violence? I'd really hate to bring about the death of a family member, to feel the shame of knowing that I took a loved one's life. come now, I wouldn't want to be the one wouldn't you agree, Simba?"

Craig: "That's not gonna work, I've put it behind me."

Squilliam: "And what about your loyal subjects? Have they put it behind them? Do they know what you've done?"

Wildernessa: "Simba, what is he talking about?"

Squilliam: "Ah, so you haven't told them your little secret. Well, Simba, now's your chance to tell them. Tell them who is responsible for Mufasa's death!"

Then Simba walks up to the base of Pride Rock and he knows that he must tell them to truth about what happened that day of the Stampede and how his Father died.

Craig: "I am…It was me!"

Everyone gasped in shock learning their friend and Prince was a murderer killing his own father.

Diana: "It's not true, Tell me it's not true?"

Craig: "It is, it's true, I'm sorry!"

Squilliam: "Ah, yes He admits it Murderer!"

Craig: "But it was an accident!"

Scar confronts Simba as they climb up Pride back as Simba is backed up by his Uncle and the Hyenas.

Squilliam:" If it weren't for you, Mufasa would still be alive. It's your fault he's dead. You're the one to blame, do you deny it?"

Craig: "No!"

Squilliam: "Then... you're... guilty!"

Craig: "No! I'm not the murderer!"

Squilliam: "We should believe a son who takes the life of a father? We should believe a son who takes the life of a king? A son who abandons his mother? Oh Simba, you're in trouble again. But this time, Daddy isn't here to save you. And now EVERYONE... KNOWS... WHY!"

Craig: "No, I am, I-"

Squilliam: "You're what? Say it! Are you the king? ARE YOU THE KING? SAY IT!"

Craig: "I am…!"

Squilliam: "You're what?! Say it?!"

Craig: "I'm nothing!"

Squilliam: "Yes, That's right! You're Nothing! Then bow to your King!"

Scar having Simba backed up against the ledge, Simba falls off the ledge, But clings on.

Wildernessa: "Simba!"

A Lightning bolt struck a dead tree creating a wild fire turning the setting burning with red, orange, and yellow flames surrounding Pride Rock.

Squilliam: "Now this looks familiar. Where have I seen this before? Let me think. Oh yes, I remember. This is just the way your Father Mufasa looked before he died. I looked down and saw the fear in his eyes."

Craig: "What?"

Scar claws Simba's Front paws causing him to Roar in Pain.

Squilliam: "And here's my little secret," (Whispers) "I killed Mufasa." (Evil Cackles)

Craig: (Gasps) "Noooo!"

Scar underestimates Simba as he bites his uncle's mane causing Scar to roar in pain and pulls Simba back up on the ledge.

Craig: "Murderer! My father! Your own brother! How could you?!"

Squilliam: (gasps and now scared) "Now, Simba, let's be reasonable here! You see, First he kills Mufasa, and now he wants to kill me!"

Craig: "No, you killed him! Tell them the truth!"

Squilliam: "Don't believe his lies!"

Diana: "Scar, you told us that you didn't get to the gorge in time?"

SquillIam: "That's true?"

Diana: "Then how did you see the look in Mufasa's eyes?!"

Squilliam: "Oh, they were…"

Craig: "You heard her, Scar. Tell them the truth!"

Squilliam: "But the truth is in the eye of the beho-"

Simba pins him down with his staff at his throat/

Craig: "Tell them!"

Squilliam: (coughing) "Okay, alright alright! I did it!"

Craig: "Louder, So they can hear you!"

Squilliam: "I KILLED MUFASA!"

Everyone gasped upon hearing what Scar said as Scar shoved Simba off and turned to his hyenas.

Squilliam: "Kill them! KILL THEM ALL!"

The hyenas attack starting with Simba as he fought them.

Wildernessa: "Animals! Lions! Attack!"

Kelsey: "Charge!"

The Armies clashed as they fought. The Stage lights change from yellow, orange, and red to dark black as the Lionesses use their magic and claw the Hyenas. Sarabi, Sarafina, and Nala lead the charge fighting the Hyenas alongside Simba.

The Jungle Army fought with their weapons. Omar aim his bow and arrows at the Hyena, Jp kicked his leg and Butt Smashed them, Kelsey fought with her blade sword as Mortimer mobbed and pecked at them, Xavier fought with his strength and compound bow, Maya fought with her Bat, Blur's speed, Arm's throwing, and Squash's strength distracted and beaten the hyenas, Sparkle Cadet's Bubble/Magic Wand, The Scouts using their Forest scout tactics, Stacks fought with her books, The Sewer Queen fought with her Pool Cleaner, and the Sewer Kids fought with Pool Tools, The Horse/Zebra kicked with their "Hooves" at the Hyenas as in they bucked the heck out of them, and the Army managed to hold them off.

While the fight continued Shenzi noticed Nala as they circled each other.

Jessie: "Well, well, You came a long way Nala! This is definitely a meal I waited my whole life for!"

Wildernessa: "Well, I have waited too and this time, I'm not the same little cub you picked on anymore!"

The Lioness and Hyena fought as they clawed and bit each other while Zazu flew about whacking the Hyenas with his Clarinent.

Squidward: "For King and Country!"

Banzai was approaching JP who was corned.

James: "Any last words"?

JP: "Yes, hungry for this snack?!"

JP gave him a snack and he took a bite out of it.

James: "It's delicious, What is it?!"

JP: "It was in between my," (dramatically) "Buttcheeks!"

James spits out in disgust as JP Kicks him in the hooves while Ed and Wobbuffet chase and corner Zazu.

Meowth: "After that bird!"

Wobbuffet: "Wobbuffet!"

Squidward: "Please, Let's talk this out!"

Then a staff hit Meowth, It was Rafiki holding his staff letting a war scream.

Charlie: "Need a hand?"

Squidward: "Yes, thank you!"

The hyenas surrounded Rafiki as they attacked, But Rafiki punched and hit them with his staff in kung fu style.

Charlie: ""WwwA! Hozah! Hazoww! Yaa! Yah! hhyEEOOWww!"

Nala and Sarabi continued to fight, but the Lioness had the advantage and tossed her to the side. Then Simba comes riding on Cheesesticks who uses his horns to poke Shenzi and lift her to the air as she falls to the ground.

Jessie: "Oof!"

Craig: "Nala!"

Simba offers her hand which she takes and is pulled up onto Cheesesticks taking the rider's position with Simba behind her.

Wildernessa: "Thanks!"

The Lions then rode into battle while Timon and Pumbaa made it to the Battle Stage Right after being chased by the Hyenas from earlier.

Patrick: "Did we make it?!"

Spongebob: "I think so?!"

They stopped when they heard a growl from behind which was the Hyenas.

Patrick: "Do you hear a growl?"

Meowth: "Look what we have here!"

Jessie: "Looks like we're having a pig and a meerkat for dinner!"

Wobbuffet: "Wobbuffet!:

James: "Yeah two meals at once, We'll have the meerkat as an appetizer, and as for the main course is the warthog!"

Meowth: "That's right! Plump and Tubby!"

Patrick: "Tubby? Tubby?!"

Spongebob: "Uh Oh, you shouldn't have said that!"

Three: "Uh…?"

Patrick: (growls) "NOBODY CALLS ME TUBBY!"

Pumbaa charges at the Hyenas knocking them out with Timon joining in. The Jungle Army and Lions were winning as the Hyenas were forced to retreat. Then Zazu brings out his clarinet and plays very loud causing the hyenas to scream in pain and run away.

Ed: "That horrible noise!"

Omar: "You go on ahead Simba! Go defeat Scar!"

Then Simba sees Scar trying to get away and roars as he chases after his uncle, the two lions run to the very top of Pride Rock with Scar cornered with no place to run.

Craig: "Murderer, It's over Scar!"

Squilliam: "Simba, Simba. Please. Please have mercy. I beg you."

Craig: "Mercy after what you did? You don't deserve to live!"

Squilliam: But, Simba, I had no choice! I am... ah...family!"

Craig: "Family?! But that didn't stop you from lying to me, manipulating me. Being family isn't good enough, for me and I'm tired of listening to your lies!"

Squilliam: "But, It was the hyenas who were the real enemy! It was their fault... it was their idea! Those revolting scavengers made me do it I was planning on killing them all."

Down below, the Hyenas led by Shenzi, Banzai, Ed, and Wobbuffet stopped and heard Scar they were furious and growled that he would betray them.

Craig: "You even lied and fooled the Hyenas! Just like how you lied and fooled me?! And why should I believe you? Everything you ever told me was a lie?! You know what, You don't even know the first thing about being a king! A king doesn't force people to like him and do whatever he wants from them! I didn't know that until now Thanks to my Father who was a better king, twice the king than you ever were!"

Squilliam: "Well then… is that so? Well… In that case… you should know that this is my home, I was born to lead! Until your daddy, stole it all away from me!"

Simba roared at him as he lunged at Scar backing him to the edge more pointing his staff at him.

Craig: "You're wrong Scar! The truth is Nobody wants to be friends with you even if you are the King! You're just a bully! Deep down inside of you Scar even if you are the King, no matter how much power you have. Nobody wants to be friends with the King and nobody wants to be friends with Scar!

Squilliam: "What are you going to do?"

Craig: "What I should've done a long time ago!"

Squilliam: "Simba? You wouldn't kill your own and only uncle, would you?"

Craig: "No, Scar. I'm not like you."

Squilliam: "Oh, Simba, thank you. You are truly noble. I'll make it up to you, I promise. How can I, ah, prove myself to you? Tell me; I mean, anything! Tell me what you want me to do."

Then Simba approaches Scar and he repeats the same words he said to him years ago when he was a cub.

Craig: "Run! Run away, Scar! Run away and Never Return."

Squilliam: "Yes. Of course. As you wish...You're Majesty!"

Scar attacks Simba and the two Male Lions fight with Tooth and Claw with their staffs as swords.

Craig: "You can't win Scar!"

Squilliam: "This is my kingdom! My destiny!"

They continued to fight, Then Simba learned the move Nala would do when she pins him. He grabs Scar and pins him down towards the edge of the ledge and screams as falls down landing on the floor surrounded by the hyenas who are laughing and cackling, but they are very angry and betrayed by Scar after what he said as Scar slowly gets up.

Squilliam: "Oh my friends please, help me! I know it will take some time, But together we will rebuild our army

Jessie: "Frie-he-hends? I thought he said, "We were the Enemy!"

James: "Yeah, that's what I heard! Calling us Friends huh? I thought you also said, "We were Revolting Scavengers?"

Meowth: "Yeah, and that "You wanted to Kill Us?!"

Wobbuffet: "Wobbuffet!"

Squilliam: "No, no, Let me explain, I was trying to fool him! We will rule together?!"

Jessie: "There is only one true thing you ever said Scar, "A Hyena's Belly is never full!"

Jessie, James, and Meowth: "Wobbuffet?!"

Wobbuffet: "(Laughing) Wobba! Wobba! Wobba!"

Squilliam: "No. L-l-l-le-le-le-le-let me explain! No! You don't understand. No!"

Scar tries to fight them off, but the Hyenas overpowered and devoured him.

Squilliam: "Nooooo!"

The horde of hyenas closes in on Scar dragging him off stage and devouring him.
