Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Halo. Enjoy the 2500-word chapter. I do not own Halo and such, 343, and a few others do.

Bonita looked away from the hills as she tapped her MK50 sidekick, she paused to try and think of what was growing on her mind.

Bonita sighed and put the MK50 sidekick on her thigh as they looked to the side. She hummed and then sighed to herself as she cracked a smile to herself.

She thought of herself before she looked to the side, she did not wish it to end for the time being.

Bonita seemed to think of it all when she wished to be thinking what was growing on her mind before she wished to think for now as she was able to think.

Bonita seemed to be thinking of it as she wished to be done and dusted before she thought of it all for now, looking downwards and then paused once more.

Bonita seemed more and more tired at the end of the day… She did not at all want to deal with it all and he was not going to blame him.

He knew more and more with each passing second of the day that he was tired, exhausted, and low on ammo.

She hummed as she looked at the into, knowing that the Banished had done enough and known that each little Spartan who fell to the Banished was one less obstacle to their war and whatever they were doing.

She did not at all know what was going on but she wanted it all now.

"We need to pull back to camp… We are not safe here." The Spartan from before stated, tapping on his chest.

He looked at her, questionable in words and tone as to how it was going to be…. Each soldier was different, each Spartan walked their path.

The roar of a Pelican silenced them as the Spartan walked towards it and then back to her.

"I am heading back to the camp me and the others set up… Unless you want to stay here? I had come with." He stated, grabbing hold of the handle of the pelican.

Bonita hummed, guessing that the rest of Shadow Team was scattered. There was little left for her here and the others were busy surviving. She would not survive if she stayed out here that long.

So? She turned and entered the D-79 Pelican, the other marines from before already aboard as the Spartan stood, clasping one of the straps. The Spartan looked at her before she glanced at him.

"Find any other Spartans?" Bonita asked, her tone faint.

"Yes." The other Spartan stated. "Most of them still are busy… We have tried to find shelter after the Morte Reverie." The Spartan stated.

Bonita felt her arms clench her fists into tight balls. She knew exactly what had happened on that day, the Banished had come in force… For blood, for everything.

He had not faltered… But she had been given orders by her team to retreat… She had taken it upon the others to retrieve information that the others had needed and Jega had hunted her.

Now? Now she was reunited with the others. It had been… A while since she had any semblance of hope.

"Are you good?" Bonita asked to which he turned, shrugged, and sat back down.

"Define good." He stated to which Bonita was silent, not at all thinking of it when she had a chance to.

Bonita took a seat next to him; she did not even think for a moment… An idea that had been written in metal.

She took a deep breath, her lungs filling with filtered air… Before she removed her helm, letting her messy ebon hair fall around her ears. Her deep jade eyes looked at him before he hummed.

"Got a name?" Bonita asked as the Spartan hummed.

"Ramsey, Killian." Bonita heard to which she nodded. "You?" Ramsey asked, his voice as tired and worn down as she felt.

"Bonita Stone, fireteam Shadow." Bonita stated to which Ramsey nodded.

"Fireteam Shadow isn't someone we expected to run into." Bonita heard; her eyebrow raised.

She looked at him, fascinated as the pilot spoke up.

"Sir? We have another razorback coming in…. Fully loaded." The navy pilot stated.

"Then we talk…. Camp got big quickly, we needed to move out by nightfall. Everyone ready?" Ramsey responded.

"Yes sir." He heard to himself before he looked to the side.

He fell silent, tired from operating for so long…. They had so much time to think of it all for now.

(10 minutes later)

The Pelican finally set down as Ramsey lifted his head, turned to Bonita, and nodded.

"Welcome to Camp Redlake," Ramsey said before he turned and exited the pelican, the group of marines following behind him as Bonita took a moment.

"Ma'am?" Bonita heard as she turned and looked to the side. "You are keeping me from getting out." Bonita heard as she hummed.

She looked at the pilot who walked around her as the Spartan IV slowly paused, something about it all had drawn her in and made her exhausted.

She had been able to think…. She had been able to think… She would be exhausted…. Something about it all was thrown off.

With a heavy weight to her steps, Bonita followed, herself ready to fight.

What she was greeted by was a very ramshackle camp, several tarps pitched with tree branches, and over a dozen exhausted marines and army troopers, all watching as the Spartan IV headed out with her following.

Bonita was made aware now that all of it was odd… Very much did she manage to relax… She did not even need to understand the issue so much as not be able to relax… She wanted to relax and she knew she was trying something that had been managed for now.

Bonita seemed to be thinking for now as she looked to the side as she thought of it.

Bonita looked over at the Spartan in question, she could guess this entire camp was set up well in advance, it was too interesting as of now, something which had been too tiresome.

She looked to the side as she paused, something about it all became harder and harder to think of it all before she thought of it all.

Bonita was eager to think of her next move as she looked to the side, all her mind raced as the Spartan-IV walked forward, pausing to look over at the rest of the camp, curious as to the state of it.

The Spartan hummed and then glanced at her, curious as to how this would happen. He held a datapad in his hands as the Spartan walked up to him.

"I thought most of the UNSC was scattered," Bonita stated as Ramsey hummed and then shrugged.

"Technically we are… The Banished do not know this camp exists and I would like to keep it that way…. The more they know? The more dangerous it is to operate." Ramsey said as he looked at the state of the camp.

It was clear within another day that they would need to move, staying here was hopeless and a fighting battle that none of them would be able to keep up. Now? now they had to fight.

She of all warriors was not used to it now, not able to keep it under control at the end of the day, something about it all was harrowing now… Not expecting it at all, they had a lot more to try and figure out now.

Something about it all was odd, she had been through the wringer before but it had hurt, it had been odd… She had nothing left to live for, nothing that would hurt less.

Something about the war was breaking Bonita but she still stood a chance, something about it all had been odd.

Ramsey was silent, he knew that telling her the truth would cause issues. It would always cause issues, something which had to be harder and harder to figure out now… Something about the chaos.

The two Spartans sat, taking in the planet around them. This place was a thousand things…. Including something that needed to be done at the end of the day before she managed it all for now.

The marines around them all looked ready to drop dead, it was clear they were all in the same boat even if they did not manage it all for now.

Bonita was all too thrown off by everything going the way of the bull. She knew more and more that the mere idea of this sort of fight would push them both beyond it all now and for a good reason

They were alone, most were alone, and that scared them… Whatever the obstacle? They had something else to deal with it all now, something about it all came crashing down to the end of the day.

Something which had to be done with now at the end of time. Bonita hummed before she looked to the side, something which had been harder to come to mind. It was harder and harder to think and fight off it all.

Ramsey hummed, looking to the side, he cleaned off his knife and then looked at her, curious as to what she wanted now, she had been too tired, too distracted.

"The plan is not easy for you, is it? Nothing appears to be that easy…" Bonita heard before she looked to the side. "We have a lot of different things to focus on, the UNSC… Banished breathing down our neck." Ramsey stated before he cleaned off his knife, curious as to how it was going on his mind.

"And? You have been keeping busy, yeah?" Bonita asked to which Ramsey hummed and then thought of his next move.

He had something of an idea now, something that made Ramsey hum, tiring himself off as he clicked his fingers and then twisted his weapon, putting it on his arm.

Ramsey hummed, cracking his arms before he looked down at the ground, grabbing his rifle from next to him.

"Trying to…. Are you ok? You look ready to crash from everything, it is tiresome, isn't it?" Ramsey asked before he looked to the side. "Because we need to get going soon, this camp is going to be compromised tomorrow, they've been hunting down camp after camp," Ramsey stated before he sighed.

He had no desire to see it end that way, not the way he could have done it for now and for a good reason.

She hummed, exhausted as he was and unwilling to submit to it all now.

"Are there any others?" Bonita asked, referring to the group of marines present.

"Every soldier we find? We bring here… I have brought every soldier back to this camp… Rubicon Protocol, remember?" Ramsey asked as he hummed, putting his helm back on.

"So, you've been busier," Bonia asked to which Ramsey hummed.

"I have always been a bit busy, I have had a lot of work to do, like finding the rest of the UNSC… The Banished have been chasing down this camp for weeks, longer I do that? More the Banished spend wasting time while the others screw with their plans." Ramsey stated.

He was serious, she could tell from his words he was honestly trying. Fighting the Banished? He was trying all he could now.

Something about it all became harder and harder to figure out now as she thought of it all before now, something about it all was harder and harder to think of when it was all over.

Something about that had made it all more and more amusing at the end of the day, something about it all had been an idea that needed to be done at the time.

He was curious as he paused to try and figure out what Bonita had done, he was curious as to the soldier she was, as to how it could have been done with what it had been doing as she looked to the side.

She had not been too tired to fight through it all as she looked to the side, something that had been too interested in it all before she looked to the side.

Bonita seemed to be thinking of it all too much before she thought of the next step for the time being at the time being as she thought of it all as a little game… Something which had been harder and harder at the time being.

Bonita seemed to think of it all, for now, Ramsey did not argue with her at the time…. Perhaps he was all too interested in it all for now and for good reason.

He had been thrown off at the end of days… Something about it all had been harder and harder.

Bonita tapped her assault rifle against her shoulder as the Spartan-IV wanted it all over now and for a good reason… She was all too thrown off for now.

Bonita would not relent in the fight but she did not want it to be done as of now… Something within her mind was growing now.

Ramsey looked at the group of marines and army soldiers. They would not last a week without support and the UNSC seemed to have bigger fish to be fighting for now.

He understood the situation but he would be remiss in admitting that he was not even slightly annoyed now.

Yes, it seemed these situations were nothing but smoke on the horizon which had not yet been eager to change now.

If nothing else? He would fight and he would let the Spartan-IVs still alive finish what he started for now.

Ramsey hummed to himself, tiresome now… He wanted it over at the end of it all… An idea like this was harder than it had to be.

Ramsey hummed, tired yet ready to relax…. Something that was not too yet determined now and it was clear something would break.

If he had been able to relax? He would, instead? He set himself to the side and then smirked, his scarred face facing Bonita as he paused for a moment and then climbed to his feet.

Something about it all had been harder and harder to deal with for now… They had a LOT more to deal with it for now… Something within it had made him eager to think… Not that he had much to think about now but he did not have to relax for now.

Something about it all had to deal with it all now before it came crashing down on them in a massive little chaotic madness… Something which had to be done now and for good reason.

Ramsey took a deep breath and looked at the skyline… Both he and the others were all too easily.
