Sakura pulled out a kunai when she felt an erratic chakra signature coming her way. She can't take chances now, especially since Sasuke cannot fight right now, he overused his sharingan and depleted his chakra. She found her near Konoha, its as if Sasuke is coming back to the village after all these years.
"Sakura." a weakened Sasuke called out her name. "I can still fight."
"No. You're in no condition to fight." Sakura said. "Just stay down."
But Sasuke is not someone to just obey orders. With a strength that Sakura did not know he can summon right now, he pulled her to the ground. Directly falling into his lap.
"Sa-Sasuke." Sakura said, surprised.
"I missed you." Sasuke murmured, then he pulled her closer, capturing her lips in his.
Kakashi arrived at the clearing where he had sensed Sakura's chakra signature. He expected to find her in a tense situation, but what he saw left him stunned. There, in the middle of the clearing, Sasuke and Sakura were locked in a passionate kiss. The shock of the sight was like a punch to his gut.
His heart sank, and his mind raced with a whirlwind of emotions. The pain of seeing his wife in another man's arms was almost unbearable. He had been desperately trying to mend his relationship with Sakura, but this encounter had thrown a wrench into his plans.
Kakashi stood there, hidden in the shadows, watching the scene play out. He couldn't bring himself to interrupt, not when he was the first one to throw away what they had. When he was the one who was foolish enough to hurt her.
He was about to turn away when he heard a resounding slap from the direction of the two. He saw the red handprint in Sasuke's cheek and Sakura was obviously angry at the Uchiha.
"I can here to retrieve you, and bring you back to Konoha, as per Tsunade-shishou's orders. Not to be molested by you!" Sakura yelled at the surprised man.
"Sakura, its not what I meant." Sasuke tried to reason out, but Sakura is on a roll.
"You will return to Konoha. And if you don't, I'll drag you by the ear. But don't you dare pull that stunt again, if you do, I'm going to set lose my husband on you."
Kakashi's heart fluttered when she heard her said that. So, Sasuke tricked Sakura into that kiss. Kakashi had not lost her yet. He still had the chance to make things right.
"Sakura." he called out to her, as he moved from the shadows.
Sakura turned her head to the voice, and even though she's still mad at what he did, she's still happy at his presence. "Kakashi." she acknowledge.
Sasuke who is still trying to process what Sakura said, interjected. "Husband?" he asked.
"Yes, husband. I'm going to let him use his chidori on you if you try that again." Sakura angrily said to the weakened man at her feet.
"Chidori?" Sasuke asked in confusion. There are only two people who can use that technique, him and - "Kakashi is your husband?"
The revelation that Kakashi is Sakura's husband hit Sasuke like a ton of bricks. His confusion deepened, and he found himself struggling to grasp the situation. He glanced back and forth between Sakura and Kakashi, his mind racing to process the unexpected turn of events.
Kakashi stepped forward, his visible eye locking onto Sasuke's with a stern and unwavering gaze. "That's right, Sasuke. I'm her husband. We've been through a lot, and we're working through our problems. So, don't get in between us. I'm not going to step aside for you." His voice carried a sense of authority that he had rarely used with Sasuke.
Sasuke swallowed hard, his own guilt for misinterpreting the situation intensifying. He had been unaware of the details of Sakura's personal life, and he had unknowingly crossed a line that he shouldn't have. He spoke with a sense of remorse. "I didn't know. I'm sorry, Sakura."
Sakura sighed, her anger slowly dissipating as she realized the misunderstanding. "It's okay, Sasuke. Just don't do it again. And you are not getting away this time. I'm going to bring you back to Konoha."
As the tension began to ease, Sakura turned her attention back to her primary objective - getting Sasuke back to Konoha. She knew that the village needed him, and she couldn't allow her personal issues to interfere with her responsibilities as a shinobi. Her tone became more businesslike as she addressed Sasuke.
"Now, Sasuke, we don't have time to waste. We're going back to Konoha, and I'll make sure you receive the medical attention you need," she stated firmly.
Sasuke nodded in agreement, understanding the urgency of the situation. He had made his point and realized that Sakura had her own life to sort out. "Alright, Sakura. Let's go."
Kakashi, while relieved that the situation with Sasuke had been resolved, couldn't help but feel a lingering sense of unease about the state of his marriage with Sakura. He had witnessed her anger, but he had also seen her interact with Sasuke in a way that raised questions in his mind.
